From TMZ, racist comments from the LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist comments while talking to his girlfriend V. Stiviano. The comments made by Sterling are truly unfortunate and repugnant. It is absolutely astonishing to me that an owner of an NBA franchise whose coach in Doc Rivers is black, your best player Chris Paul is black and so is pretty much most of your team roster can make such a comment like don’t bring black people to the game. But I can guarantee you that J.J. Reddick is just as upset as a Chris Paul or Blake Griffin. Did some one forget to tell this idiot owner that his girlfriend was half Hispanic, half black?

Of course Donald Sterling should be afforded due process, but damn. I honestly can’t see how he could remain owner of this team as why would any black player, or any player with a conscience want to play for a team owned by this guy. However, the court of public opinion has already pretty much found him guilty. The NBA is investigating the situation.

UPDATE I:  Reaction from Magic Johnson: 

“I will never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner,” Magic Johnson said on Twitter. He also said the alleged comments were “a black eye for the NBA” and said he felt bad that friends such as Rivers and Clippers point guard Chris Paul had to work for Sterling.

UPDATE II: ESPN has VIDEO of the NBA Commissioner Adam Silver addresses the media on the alleged racist comments by Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

UPDATE III: Comments from the NBA Commissioner from USA Today.

“All members of the NBA family should be awarded due process,” said Silver. “Which is why I’m not yet prepared to issue any potential sanctions against Donald Sterling. We will move extraordinarily quickly. We plan to have this wrapped up in the next few days.”

Silver said he spoke to Sterling, who will not attend Sunday’s playoff game between the Clippers and Golden State Warriors in midst of backlash.

The NBA, labeling the remarks “disturbing and offensive” in an earlier statement, is currently conducting a “full investigation” on the audio, which was obtained by TMZ, and features a man identified as Sterling telling his girlfriend not to bring black people to games. The recorded argument was based on an Instagram photo of Sterling’s girlfriend posing with Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

“The core of the investigation is understanding whether the tape is authentic and interviewing Donald Sterling,” Silver said.

Wow really, she is a gold digger, and I thought it was love. However, that does not change the fact of what Donald Sterling said. Of course it is interesting that the telephone conversation was taped.

Donald Sterling’s wife of more than 50 years describes his alleged mistress as a gold digger who seduces older, wealthy men and persuades them to shower her with gifts, according to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on March 7.

The Clippers team owner and a woman identified as V. Stiviano allegedly began an affair after meeting at the 2010 Super Bowl game and were still in the relationship as of the filing date, according to the lawsuit filed by Rochelle H. Sterling, who is described in the suit as “a married woman seeking to protect and recover community property in her individual capacity.”

Rochelle Sterling alleges that her husband used community property to buy Stiviano a 2012 Ferrari, two Bentleys and a 2013 Range Rover, worth a total of more than $500,0000.

In an interview with The New Yorker, Kobe Bryant discussed his reaction to when members of the Miami Heat wore “hoodies” in Trayvon Martin’s memory saying he admitted he’s not comfortable with the idea of being compelled to defend someone just because they’re black. Trayvon Martin was the black teen who was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. After a long, divisive and contentious trial, Zimmerman was found “not guilty” of murder. Although the part of the interview that discusses the Trayvon Martin passages are only available to subscribers, the money lines were reprinted at The Blaze and Mediaite.

Discussing the divisive Trayvon Martin case in an interview with The New Yorker, NBA star Kobe Bryant said he doesn’t support defending someone just because they are black.

He appeared to be referring to the aftermath of the shooting death of Martin. Many people and political commentators seemingly rushed to assume George Zimmerman was guilty of murder before a trial ever occurred. One of the topics discussed was how members of the Miami Heat wore hoodies in Martin’s memory two years ago.

“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American. That argument doesn’t make any sense to me,” Bryant said. “So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.”

Who knew Kobe Bryant was a racist? [sarcasm intended].

And the Left & Blacks expressed their outrage on Twitter for one black man’s opinion that color should not be the issue, the facts should. Hmm, you mean support for Trayvon was not racial solidarity, Really? It was a tragic set of events where two people should have never crossed paths, but everything about the George Zimmerman – Trayvon martin case was racial, down the the media doctoring 911 tapes and Zimmerman being referred to as a “white” Hispanic. And there is nothing racial when  the Revs. Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson are on the scene. Add the NBPP as well putting a bounty on Zimmerman’s head. HEY, THERE IS AN IDEA. Obama said, “You know, you will qualify, you know, regardless of what your family’s status is. So, you know, people should not hold back just because they’re in a mixed-family status.” Um, what the hell is “mixed-family status”? YOU MEAN ILLEGALS!!! One again we are witness to a lawless president only supporting and enforcing the laws he likes. So is Obama saying that illegals can be signed up for Obamacare with no ramifications?

Remember when Obama said at the 2009 STOTU,  “the reforms I am proposing would not apply to those that are here illegally.”

President Obama on Tuesday sought to assure legal immigrants that they can sign up for ObamaCare without worrying that “the immigration people” will come for family members who are in the country illegally.

In an interview with Univision Deportes, a Spanish-language sports radio show, Obama said immigration officials won’t have access to the personal information that consumers provide when signing up for healthcare on the new exchanges.

“Well, the main thing for people to know is that any information you get, you know, asked with respect to buying insurance, does not have anything to do with … the rules governing immigration,” Obama said. “And you know, you can qualify if you’re a legal resident, if you are … legally present in the United States.

“You know, if you have a family where some people are citizens or legally here, and others are not documented, the immigration people will never get that information.”

My first question is, WHY NOT? Is our government not supposed to protect the US Constitution and our borders? Would it not be a natural action of law enforcement to take this information and find out who is in the country illegally? But it is only okay for the IRS to harass the Tea Party and not go after illegals. Remember, Obamacare, the IRS and the Treasury Department are incestuously tied.

So lets understand this, Obama tells Hispanics to enroll in the Affordable Care Act, promising that their private information will not be used by “the immigration people” to track down family members who are in the country illegally, but when it comes to law abiding legal Americans, the NSA tracks our every move, word, cell phone conversation, email, social media posting and tweet? Since Obamacare is tied directly to the IRS and the IRS to the Treasury Department, how is it that only Hispanics information is private, but legal Americans is not!!!

Hey what’s next … turning the other way on Muslim terrorists who want to sign up for Obamacare? What about an early release for prisoners so they can sign up for Obamacare? Heck, let’s just let anyone in Mexico to sign up, border, way border!

It would appear that even the Hispanics have problems with Obamacare. At a town hall-style meeting with the Spanish-language media, President Barack Obama had the audacity to actually arrogantly lecture others on budgeting properly in order to pay for his signature piece of legislation. What the hell would Obama know about budgeting? This from the president who has increased our federal debt more than any other one in history. When a consumer complained in a letter that he could not find affordable rates under Obamacare, Obama said smugly that maybe he has not prioritized health care.UNREAL!!!

“If you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill, other things they are spending on. It may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized health care.”

The difference is Mr. President that it is their choice to own cable or a cell phone, not a federally mandated law to purchase a product or be be hit with a punitive tax for a service that one does not even purchase. As all can see from this Spanish-language town hall, even Hispanics loath Obamacare. Hint, hint GOP!!!

Instead, premiums are up, out-of-pocket expenses are up, and overall cost of living is up. The President simply doesn’t get it. And his condescending attitude adds insult to injury.”

In the video below, Obama says that the cost of Obamacare will cost less than a cell phone. Now he tells people they have to prioritize and give up their cell phone to pay for Obamacare. What a joke. How would that political slogan have played prior to the 2012 presidential campaign … You can have Obamacare or your smart phone, not both … YOU DECIDE!

CNN’s Don Lemon Finally Admits the Truth about the Media and Barack Obama, “As a Journalist, You Weigh How Much You Should Criticize the President Because He’s Black.”

WOW, finally some truth from the liberal MSM admitting there is a bias for Barack Obama.

CNN’s Don Lemon admitted that “as a journalist, you weigh how much you should criticize the president because he’s black.” Really, the color of one’s skin determines whether you should criticize Barack Obama, or not? It’s not bad or failed policy? So by the converse, it id AOK to criticize a white president? Lemon went on to say, “then you have to do it, because you are a journalist.” Um, since when have the journalist of America truly criticized Barack Obama? Am I missing something? Never has a president got more of a pass from the media ever. Had Obama been criticized and vetted as a candidate by the media, he would never have been elected president. But the MSM was all too consumed with have a black man elected. Had the MSM criticized and thoroughly reported on the failures and scandals from Obama’s first term like the economy, disastrous job growth, out of control debt and the truth of Obamacare, he would never have been reelected in 2012. However, they were more concerned with no criticizing a black man.

Wasn’t it Martin Luther King Jr. who said, “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” So how come the media can’t seem to abide by the words of MLK?

And as I said, he understands the issues that we as African-Americans face more than any other president that we have had. You know, we used to call Bill Clinton the first black president, but I mean, in reality, we know that — we know that was just sort of fun.

But, yes, I think he has more of a freedom. And his — listen, in his first term he didn’t do that much about, you know, gay rights, about gay marriage, whatever, and it started happening in the second term. I said in the beginning that that issue would be a second term issue.

He had to prove himself in the beginning. He had probably more criticism than most presidents because when you are the first of anything, there is a bigger responsibility put on you. He’s a spectacle in a way.

Everyone is being looking to hit him and everyone is looking to punch him, and I understand that, and as a journalist you weigh how much you should criticize the president, because he’s black, what have you, but then you have to do it because ultimately you’re a journalist. Journalists have to, black people have to, white people, Hispanic. We all must hold him to this because, as he said, it is an issue for the country, not just for one demographic.
