The May jobs numbers are in and they were HUGE! As reported at CNBC, total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 223,000 in May, compared to an expected 188K. Also, the underemployment rate is down to 3.8%. Even CNN is reporting that unemployment rate matches lowest point in half a century. Job gains came from retail (31,000), health care (29,000), construction (25,000), professional and technical services (23,000) and transportation and warehousing, which added 19,000. Manufacturing also contributed 18,000 and mining grew by 6,000. Wait, 18,000 jobs from manufacturing? I thought Obama said manufacturing jobs would never come back? This represents another strong jobs report for the Trump administration.

The U.S. economy continued to add jobs at a solid clip in May, with nonfarm payrolls up 223,000 while the unemployment rate was 3.8 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.

Economists had been expecting payroll growth of 188,000 and the jobless rate to hold steady at 3.9 percent.

The unemployment rate was last this low in April 2000. A separate level of unemployment that adds in discouraged workers and those holding part-time positions for economic reasons fell to 7.6 percent, the lowest since May 2001.

The closely watched average hourly earnings metric rose 0.3 percent, as expected. That translates to an annualized rate of 2.7 percent, up one-tenth of a point from April.

In addition to the better-than-expected payrolls for May, March’s count was revised up from 135,000 to 155,000 while April ended lower from 164,000 to 159,000, for a net gain of 15,000.

Job gains came from retail (31,000), health care (29,000), construction (25,000), professional and technical services (23,000) and transportation and warehousing, which added 19,000. Manufacturing also contributed 18,000 and mining grew by 6,000.

Black unemployment fell sharply to 5.9 percent, beating out the 6.6 percent record low that was set a month earlier.

The unemployment rate for Hispanic workers hit a record low in April, at 4.8 percent, but it rose slightly to 4.9 percent in May.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump  signed a full pardon for former heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson. For those who are too young or unfamiliar with who Jack Johnson was, he was the first black heavyweight boxing champion, who was convicted of so-called violating the Mann Act more than a century ago. And it is about time, it has only taken 97 years.

I find it amazing that it was President Donald Trump who finally issued this posthumously full pardon. Trump, the president who the LEFT and minorities call a racist. Really? One would have thought that Barack Obama would have righted this wrong. But no, he did not. Black America needs to wrap their head around that. How does the first black president in Barack Obama not pardon Jack Johnson? It is almost inconceivable. Or the so-called first black president, Bill Clinton? Maybe black America needs to take a real look at Trump and determine for themselves who really has their back. Who really wants them to succeed and who just wants to use them as political pawns.

President Donald Trump signed a full posthumous pardon for former heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson in a surprise Oval Office ceremony alongside actor Sylvester Stallone, former heavyweight boxer Lennox Lewis, and others.

“It’s my honor to do it. It’s about time,” Trump said during the ceremony in the Oval Office.

“He was treated very rough, very tough,” Trump said of Johnson on Thursday as he signed the pardon.

In 1913, Johnson, a noted boxing legend, was convicted by an all-white jury with violating the Mann Act after transporting a white woman he was dating across state lines for “immoral purposes.”

He served one year in prison.

Under the Obama administration, the Department of Justice opted not to recommend a posthumous pardon for Johnson.

Jack Johnson, the former heavyweight champion of the world and the first African-American boxer to hold that title, was serving a 10-month stint at Leavenworth prison in 1921 when he sent President Woodrow Wilson a letter.

On Thursday, President Trump finally answered that letter, granting Johnson a full and unconditional pardon for his 1913 conviction of a crime that amounted to traveling with a white woman.

Along the way, Johnson’s 97-year road to a presidential pardon was paved by biographers, boxing champions, senators, journalists, historians, musicians — and ultimately the actor Sylvester Stallone, whose conversation with Trump about the Johnson case led to just the third posthumous pardon knowingly granted by a president.

Johnson was finally vindicated, but vindication wasn’t what he wanted. He wanted his freedom.

But Johnson did apply for a pardon in 1920, as he sat in prison to serve a one-year sentence for violating the Mann Act. Even the attorney general at the time had reservations about the case, since the Mann Act was intended to punish human trafficking — not consensual relationships.

Reuters Poll: Black Male Approval For President Trump Doubles In One Week

According to a recent Reuters poll following the positive comments of Kanye West toward President Donald Trump shows that black male support of Trump has doubled in one week. WOW!!! The poll taken on April 29, 2018 showed a remarkable approval rating of 22%, up from 11% in a poll taken on 4/22/18. The poll also showed that Trump’s approval rating also increased from 8.9% to 16.5% during this same period of time. This is the Kanye effect and why the LEFT, Democrats and the liberal MSM are trying to destroy the credibility of Kanye West. If blacks come to believe and understand it is okay to like and vote for Republicans and President Trump, the Democrats are toast. Exit polls from the 2016 elections showed that Trump garnered 8% of the black vote, if that percentage ever went to 16 or 17 percent, Democrats would be in serious trouble. This is why we are now witness to the destroy Kanye campaign so that blacks never think for themselves and don’t point one and one together that it was under President Trump that blacks have an all-time low unemployment rate and they are benefiting under Trump.

Black male support for President Donald Trump doubled in just one week, according to a Reuters poll on presidential approval.

A poll taken on April 22, 2018 had Trump’s approval rating among black men at 11 percent, while the same poll on April 29, 2018 pegged the approval rating at 22 percent. It should be noted that Reuters only sampled slightly under 200 black males each week and slightly under 3,000 people overall.

Trump experienced a similar jump in approval among black people overall, spiking from 8.9 percent on April 22 to 16.5 percent on April 29.

BET Founder Robert Johnson says that President Trump’s economy is good for blacks as it is bring them back into the work force. This if the LEFT’s and Democrats worst nightmare. These are words coming from a black Democrat. The growing U.S. economy and improving business environment is bringing black workers back into the labor force, BET founder Robert Johnson told CNBC on Friday.

Johnson, the nation’s first black billionaire, spoke before Friday’s jobs report, which showed nonfarm payrolls rose 103,000 in March, falling well short of the 193,000 gain economist were expecting.

In January, the Labor Department reported the unemployment rate among black workers was at its lowest since at least the early 1970s, when the government began tracking the data. The unemployment rate for black Americans spiked in January and then fell in February. The rate was unchanged in March at 6.9 percent.

“When you look at that [January report], you have to say something is going right,” said Johnson, a Democrat and founder and chairman of The RLJ Cos.

“You have to take encouragement from what’s happening in the labor force and the job market,” Johnson told “Squawk Box.” “When you look at African-American unemployment, … you’ve never had African-American unemployment this low and the spread between African-Americans and whites narrowing.”

Last night during President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address, he provided a list of amazing economic accomplishments from his first year in Office, none more remarkable that black unemployment being at an all-time recorded low. President Trump stated, “And something I am very proud of, African-American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded.”

The reaction from the Democrat black caucus, crickets. Not one individual stood, of those that actually attended the SOTU. One individual, just one actually bothered to clap. UNBELIEVABLE. They could have cared less. This is leadership? Do you think this would have been the reaction to Barack Obama or Bill Clinton? Of course not.  As stated at PJ Media, “Indeed, black unemployment reached a record low under President Trump. The fact that these black congressional leaders hold their hatred for Trump more precious than their celebration of success for their own community is telling.” These people are petrified that Trump is making inroads into the black community by taking them off the dependency of government welfare and providing them well-paying jobs. In the 2016 Trump received 8% of the black vote after being called a racist and white supremacist. That was dramatically up from 2012 and 2008. Look for the Democrats, LEFT’s, media’s and Congressional black caucuses worst nightmare to come true in 2020 … Trump will get double digits of black vote and break that Democrat wall too.
