When you can’t trust the words of a dishonest agenda driven media, pandering Democrats and an ideologue like President Barack Obama, look to the new media to do the number crunching and analysis to report of whether Blacks are being targeted by the police as the MSM would like you to believe. The folks at Powerline ask the question … . Are Blacks disproportionately involved in Police shootings? To listen to the liberal MSM one would say of course, they are reporting it all the time, it must be true. And if you were a lazy, apathetic non-caring info bot, you would be wrong. Check out the statistics and analysis below from Powerline and learn something, rather than just believe what the MSM wants you to hear.

Its not just as simple as 258 blacks represent 26% of the total number of med shot and killed by law enforcement, which is about double the percentage of blacks in the American population and thus the police must be targeting blacks. Sorry WAPO, you might want to dig a little deeper into the numbers and use other qualifiers like blacks have an unusually high rate of contact with the police, both as victims and as perpetrators.

But when the MSM reports white cops killing all blacks as an unarmed and bad shooting, even when the facts state otherwise and forget the fact that believe it or not, some of the police officers involved in the shootings are Hispanic and dare I say it, black. There is a bad element in every profession, teachers, doctors, politicians and yes, police. But let’s take the false narrative out of the equation. It’s a terrible thing when any innocent person is killed, All Lives Matter.

The numbers tell a different story. Like all statistics, they bounce around from year to year, but let’s go with the Washington Post’s study of police shootings in 2015. The Post found that 990 people, almost all of them men, were shot and killed by law enforcement last year. Before you start calling them victims, however, note that the Post also found that in three-quarters of these incidents, police were defending either themselves or someone else who was, at that moment, under attack. That leaves around 250 cases that were not obvious self-defense or defense of a third person. That doesn’t mean, of course, that those shootings were unjustified.

What was the racial breakdown of those who were shot by police in 2015? The largest number, 494, almost exactly half, were white. 258 were black, 172 were Hispanic, and the remaining 66 were either “other” or unknown. (Interestingly, Asians are rarely shot by police officers.)

The 258 blacks represent 26% of the total. That is about double the percentage of blacks in the American population. Is that prima facie evidence of racism on the part of law enforcement? Of course not. It is common knowledge that blacks have an unusually high rate of contact with the police, both as victims and as perpetrators. In 2012-2013, the Department of Justice found that blacks were the perpetrators of 24% of all violent crimes where the race of the perpetrator was known (in 7.8% of violent crimes, it was unknown).

So the percentage of blacks fatally shot by police officers (26%) is almost exactly equal to the percentage of blacks committing violent crimes (24%). Indeed, given that the black homicide rate is around eight times the white rate, it is surprising that the portion of blacks fatally shot by policemen is not higher.

This is what happens when you have leadership and an administration that blames authority, rather than the suspects for wrong doings. This is what happens when “Black Lives Matters” is glorified as having some kind of point and justification when random acts of excessive police force are made to appear as they are an everyday occurrence and systemic, while black on black crime is completely and willfully ignored.

This is what happens when the MSM, liberals, Democrats and Barack Obama blame a terrorist shooting in Orlando, Florida on the NRA … but are silent and as quiet as church mice when it comes to make the same blame for the rhetoric from “Black Lives Matters”. Sorry folks, you cant have it both ways. Imagine that, liberal hypocrisy.

The number of police officers shot and killed in the USA is 44% higher than at this time last year following the Dallas ambush Thursday night that left five officers dead, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The deaths of four Dallas police officers and one Dallas transit officer from sniper fire during a protest in the city Thursday raised the national total of firearm deaths among police to 26. This compares with 18 at this point in time in 2015, said Nick Breul, director of research for the fund in Washington, D.C.

Breul said it was also the latest of 11 ambushes of police officers so far this year across the country, already outpacing the eight ambushes of law enforcement that occurred last year.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released the name of the individual responsible behind Thursday morning’s shooting in Bristol, TN that claimed the life of an area newspaper carrier and injured three others, including a local police officer. The TBI stated that 37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott  “acted alone” and was armed with at least two weapons. Preliminary finding show that Lakeem Keon Scott targeted people and officers after being troubled by recent events involving black people and law enforcement officers in other parts of the country. Yes, Lakeem Keon Scott was black and the victims that were targeted were white. You do the math.

Hmm, where are the Black Lives Matters folks, where’s Barack Obama’s outrage, where is Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton and where is Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the DOJ’s “Hate Crime” unit? Hey America, aren’t you so happy and proud you elected Barack Obama to two terms in office so he could bridge the divide between the races? But this is what you get when you elect a community agitator who is an ideologue and not a leader.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released the name of the suspect behind Thursday morning’s random shooting in Bristol, TN that claimed the life of an area newspaper carrier and injured three others, including a local police officer.

The TBI says 37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott was armed with at least two weapons, an automatic-style rifle, a pistol and a large amount of ammunition, reports CBS statation WJHL in Tennessee.

According to the TBI, the victims were:

Jennifer Rooney ( A Bristol Herald Courier newspaper carrier) : Deceased after being shot driving in her vehicle on Volunteer Parkway.
Deborah Watts: In serious, but stable, condition at Bristol Regional Medical Center after being shot while working at the Days Inn.
David Whitman Davis: Received minor injuries at the scene after being injured by flying glass resulting from the gunfire.
Officer Matthew Cousins: Sustained a superficial wound to the leg. Was subsequently treated and released from BRMC.

Preliminary findings indicate Scott may have targeted people and officers after being troubled by recent events involving African-Americans and law enforcement officers in other parts of the country.

Virginia Gov. McAuliffe Restores voting rights for 206K Ex-Violent & Nonviolent Felons with a Pen to Boost Democrat Votes for Hillary Clinton

Democrat Gov. Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order Friday restoring the voting rights of 206,000 ex-felons. Sorry to be so cynical that a democrat would pull such a pandering move during a presidential year. Imagine that, Democrats pandering to the rapist and child sex offender. SICK!!! Really, passing this BS off as a way of rectifying Virginia’s “long and sad history” of suppressing African-American voting power. Maybe its Gov. Terry McAuliffe who is the felon who needs to be imprisoned.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe signed an executive order Friday restoring the voting rights of 206,000 ex-felons, a sweeping action the governor said was aimed largely at rectifying Virginia’s “long and sad history” of suppressing African-American voting power.

The move, coming in a presidential election year, outraged Republicans who accused McAuliffe of abusing his power to help longtime ally Hillary Clinton win a battleground state by putting more likely Democratic voters on the books.

The governor’s order applies to all violent and nonviolent felons who had finished their sentence and supervised release as of Friday, even those who have not applied for a restoration of rights. Previous Virginia governors have restored rights on an individual basis, but none has done it for an entire category of offenders with one pen stroke.

While campaigning in Tennessee Bill Clinton seemed to downplay that Barack Obama was the first black president when he said that unless you are “100 percent, 100 percent from sub-Saharan Africa, we are all mixed race people.” It begs the question that I have wondered for a long, long time. Does Bill Clinton really want Hillary Clinton to be president and force him to be the first, First Man?

Playing off Congressman Steve Cohen’s introduction that claimed Bill Clinton was just a “stand-in for the first black president,” Clinton told an audience in Memphis, “You know what we learned from the human genome?

“We learned that unless your ancestors — everyone of you — are 100 percent, 100 percent from sub-Saharan Africa, we are all mixed race people.”

Hmm, Hasn’t Hillary Clinton been running on the mantra that she we be a third term of Barack Obama? I guess Bubba didn’t get that memo from Hillary’s private email server.

Hundreds packed into the Whitehaven High School gymnasium Thursday to hear former President Bill Clinton stump for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Bill Clinton, a giant state flag behind him, spoke largely on issues that plague Memphis, including high unemployment, violent crime and poverty, and said Hillary would help America “grow together.”

“Without an economy that works for everybody, we can’t be one America, and we can’t go forward together,” Clinton said.

But in talking about the struggles of middle- and lower-class America, Clinton said the country’s financial system is “rigged.”

“Yeah, it’s rigged, because you don’t have a president who’s a change-maker, who, with a Congress who will work with him. But the president has done a better job than he has gotten credit for.”
