The Left & Blacks Become Unhinged Over Lakers Kobe Bryant’s Comments on Trayvon Martin Case … He Doesn’t Support Defending Someone Just Because They are Black

The NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant is about to feel the wrath of what happens when you do not go along with the “black/left” company line …

In an interview with The New Yorker, Kobe Bryant discussed his reaction to when members of the Miami Heat wore “hoodies” in Trayvon Martin’s memory saying he admitted he’s not comfortable with the idea of being compelled to defend someone just because they’re black. Trayvon Martin was the black teen who was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. After a long, divisive and contentious trial, Zimmerman was found “not guilty” of murder. Although the part of the interview that discusses the Trayvon Martin passages are only available to subscribers, the money lines were reprinted at The Blaze and Mediaite.

Discussing the divisive Trayvon Martin case in an interview with The New Yorker, NBA star Kobe Bryant said he doesn’t support defending someone just because they are black.

He appeared to be referring to the aftermath of the shooting death of Martin. Many people and political commentators seemingly rushed to assume George Zimmerman was guilty of murder before a trial ever occurred. One of the topics discussed was how members of the Miami Heat wore hoodies in Martin’s memory two years ago.

“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American. That argument doesn’t make any sense to me,” Bryant said. “So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.”

Who knew Kobe Bryant was a racist? [sarcasm intended].

And the Left & Blacks expressed their outrage on Twitter for one black man’s opinion that color should not be the issue, the facts should. Hmm, you mean support for Trayvon was not racial solidarity, Really? It was a tragic set of events where two people should have never crossed paths, but everything about the George Zimmerman – Trayvon martin case was racial, down the the media doctoring 911 tapes and Zimmerman being referred to as a “white” Hispanic. And there is nothing racial when  the Revs. Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson are on the scene. Add the NBPP as well putting a bounty on Zimmerman’s head. Yup, no racial solidarity before a JURY SPOKE WHAT-SO-EVER.

UPDATE I: Kobe Bryant Responds To Backlash Over Controversial Trayvon Martin Comments.

I guess if Barack Obama had a son, it would not be Kobe Bryant.

CNN’s Don Lemon Finally Admits the Truth about the Media and Barack Obama, “As a Journalist, You Weigh How Much You Should Criticize the President Because He’s Black.”

WOW, finally some truth from the liberal MSM admitting there is a bias for Barack Obama.

CNN’s Don Lemon admitted that “as a journalist, you weigh how much you should criticize the president because he’s black.” Really, the color of one’s skin determines whether you should criticize Barack Obama, or not? It’s not bad or failed policy? So by the converse, it id AOK to criticize a white president? Lemon went on to say, “then you have to do it, because you are a journalist.” Um, since when have the journalist of America truly criticized Barack Obama? Am I missing something? Never has a president got more of a pass from the media ever. Had Obama been criticized and vetted as a candidate by the media, he would never have been elected president. But the MSM was all too consumed with have a black man elected. Had the MSM criticized and thoroughly reported on the failures and scandals from Obama’s first term like the economy, disastrous job growth, out of control debt and the truth of Obamacare, he would never have been reelected in 2012. However, they were more concerned with no criticizing a black man.

Wasn’t it Martin Luther King Jr. who said, “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” So how come the media can’t seem to abide by the words of MLK?

Just a heads up, how do you think the MSM is going to cover Hillary Clinton, the potential first female president? I think we already know the answer.

“As a journalist, you weigh how much you should criticize the president because he’s black.”

Transcript from Real Clear Politics:

DON LEMON: But, Jake, he is the African-American president. He’s an African-American president. He’s a president of all people but, again, he has a responsibility as president to help everyone but he is a black man.

And as I said, he understands the issues that we as African-Americans face more than any other president that we have had. You know, we used to call Bill Clinton the first black president, but I mean, in reality, we know that — we know that was just sort of fun.

But, yes, I think he has more of a freedom. And his — listen, in his first term he didn’t do that much about, you know, gay rights, about gay marriage, whatever, and it started happening in the second term. I said in the beginning that that issue would be a second term issue.

He had to prove himself in the beginning. He had probably more criticism than most presidents because when you are the first of anything, there is a bigger responsibility put on you. He’s a spectacle in a way.

Everyone is being looking to hit him and everyone is looking to punch him, and I understand that, and as a journalist you weigh how much you should criticize the president, because he’s black, what have you, but then you have to do it because ultimately you’re a journalist. Journalists have to, black people have to, white people, Hispanic. We all must hold him to this because, as he said, it is an issue for the country, not just for one demographic.

EXIT QUESTION: President Barack Obama has proved himself? Really? Proved himself to be what, a socialist, authoritarian, imperial president hell-bent on destroying the United States and shredding the US Constitution?

Where Are the Black Leaders on This … 72% of the Babies Aborted in Mississippi Are Black Between 1995 and 2010 … More Black Babies Aborted Than Born in NYC in 2012

Where is the outrage from Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other black political and religious leaders on the genocide of black babies?

As reported at CNS News, data published by the CDC, although whites far outnumbered blacks in Mississippi by a 2 to 1 margin, 71.67% of the babies aborted are black, while only 26.6% are white during the years of 1995 and 2010. The reports shows that in some years, the percentages were even higher, in 2009, for example, the percentage of black babies killed by abortion in Mississippi in relation to the total was 76.8%. In 2007, it was 77.8%; in 2005, 77.2% Protein Wisdom makes a startling but true and valid point, “It’s like ‘Mississippi Burning’, only instead of redneck Klan members (who were Democrats, let’s remember), we now have the “pro-woman” “choice” crowd pushing its agenda on a race Margaret Sanger …”.

Where is Barack Obama saying that he could have been that aborted baby as he did when he interjected himself into the Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman murder trial? Where is the outrage of this genocide?

MISSISSIPPI BURNING ABORTING

Mississippi Burning

Although whites outnumber blacks in Mississippi by nearly 2-to-1, 71.67% of the babies aborted in Mississippi are black, while 26.6% are white.

Based on data published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 39,052 black babies were killed by abortions in Mississippi between 1995 and 2010.  During that same time period, 14,529 white babies were aborted in the Magnolia State.

The total number of abortions between 1995 and 2010 in Mississippi was 54,484. In addition to blacks and whites, that number also includes abortions among Hispanics, “Other” (meaning Asian and Native American), and “Unknown,” as published by the CDC.

The data from the CDC should make black leaders cringe, but instead they are silent. So who profits and who loses from Planned Parenthood?

Year            White  Abortions        Black Abortions

2010                 415                         1,646

1995                 1,288                       2,239
TOTAL:           14,529                     39,052

But wait, it gets worse. Also reported by CNS News, more black babies were killed by abortion  in New York City than born.

In 2012, there were more black babies killed by abortion (31,328) in New York City than were born there (24,758), and the black children killed comprised 42.4% of the total number of abortions in the Big Apple, according to a report by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

The report is entitled, Summary of Vital Statistics 2012 The City of New York, Pregnancy Outcomes, and was prepared by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office of Vital Statistics. (See  Pregnancy Outcomes NYC Health 2012.pdf)

VP Joe Biden Said What to Audiance During Celebration of African-American History Month … “Just Remember I May Be a White Boy, But I Can Jump.”

The Obama administration Court Jester is at it again …

What else would Vice President Joe Biden say to an audience at the Naval Observatory during a celebration of African-American History Month, why this of course … “I may be a white boy, but I can jump!” Wow really, I guess this is Biden’s way of disproving the 1990′s movie.  But the reaction is, that is just Joe being Joe and “classic Biden”. It is obvious that Barack Obama brings Biden out of the witness protection program every so often to take the media’s and America’s attention off of the fiasco of his presidency and focus on Biden’s comedic act. Imagine if a Republican had said the same? Yeah, me neither.

Oh, by the way the Obamacare enrollment numbers are far lower than predicted and needed for sustainability.

From The Weekly Standard:

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, hosted a reception Tuesday night at the Naval Observatory in honor of African-American History Month. The vice president’s office was expecting about 150 people, and spotted in the crowd were: Michigan Rep. John Conyers, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson (“I told the president, next game, I’ve got him,” Biden said of the former NBA star, “I may be a white boy, but I can jump”), senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, AFSCME president Lee Saunders, Columbia SC Mayor Steve Benjamin and National Black Caucus of State Legislators president Joe Armstrong.

EXIT QUESTION: Does anyone rally think that Joe Biden is a serious Democrat presidential candidate for 2016? The White House does not even let him near the microwave, let alone the nuclear launch codes. As many have said, the only reason why Barack Obama has never been impeached is because Joe was next in line.

The PC Police Are about to Ruin Football … Is the NFL Really Going to Adopt a 15 Yard Penalty for Use of the “N” Word, What About Other Racial Slurs?

PC police look to make the use of the “N” word a 15 yard penalty in the NFL …

Not that I don’t find the use of the “N” word completely offensive, but does it really have to be a 15-yard penalty next year in the NFL? If John Wooten, head of the Fritz Pollard Alliance, has his way it will. Are they trying to destroy what has become the most popular sport in America? First they make it that you cannot touch the QB ever, then they make the game where the defense can no longer hit receivers, and now they want to penalize language. GOOD GRIEF. What’s next, 15 yard penalties for inappropriate texting? Sorry, but this has to be about the stupidest idea yet because they are about to open up a Pandora’s box that they can never come back from. Political correctness is ruining America, now they look to first ruin the NFL. In a game where the overwhelming majority of player are black, what is the PC police talking about with penalizing the “N” word? How often does this really happen and in what context?

If the NFL rules committee goes here, they will destroy the sport. No one is condoning racial slurs, but this is no place for a rules committee. They are acting more like “Big Government” politicians looking to regulate everything out of existence and in turn doing more damage than good.  One would think that groups and the NFL would be more worried about the felony arrests and the conduct of it’s players than being the talk police. Let’s hope no one deems “Omaha” as a racial slur.

Politically_Correct

John Wooten, head of the Fritz Pollard Alliance that monitors diversity in the NFL, said he expects the league’s competition committee to enact a rule at the owner’s meeting next month making it an automatic 15-yard penalty if a player uses the N-word on the field, with a second infraction meriting an ejection.

Wooten spoke about his desire to eradicate the word completely from NFL workplaces at the Fritz Pollard event during the combine, wanting it to be fineable and policed throughout team facilities, and received a standing ovation according to those in attendance. Wooten said he will continue being vigilant about this with the NFL office and Commissioner Roger Goodell.

“I will be totally shocked if the competition committee does not uphold us on what we’re trying to do,” Wooten said. “We want this word to be policed from the parking lot to the equipment room to the locker room. Secretaries, PR people, whoever, we want it eliminated completely and want it policed everywhere.”

The racial makeup of the  NFL for 2012 shows that blacks were the overwhelming majority. A far difference number than the ethnic demographics of the United States. of 72.4% White and 12.6% Black. Which begs the question, what racism and racial use of the “N” word are these people talking about?

During  the  NFL’s  2012 season, the  percentage of African American players decreased to 66.3 percent  in 2012  from  66.6 percent during  the  2011  season. The percentage of whites in 2012 decreased to 30.1 percent from 31 percent in 2011. The   percentage   of   Latinos,   Asian/Pacific   Islander, “other” and international players were  0.7  percent,  1.1 percent, 1.8 percent and  1.4  percent, respectively.

Folks, this is what football is about … Left Side! Strong Side!

Please note the following is not meant to be offensive, even though it might be to some. It is meant to prove a point. Just curious, is it also a 15 yard penalty to use other slurs that insult Whites, Asians, Hispanics, Jews and Muslims in using terms  like Cracker, Spic, Kike, Gringo, Mic, Dago, Wop, Frog, Dot Head, Greaser, Half-breed, Camel Jockey, Oreo, Bule, Honkey, Wigger, Sand Monkey, Jap, Chink, Sheep Shagger, Wetback, Slope, Squarehead, Heeb, Polack, Gook, Raghead, Hymie, Guido, Banana,  and of course … Redskin. Is the NFL going to penalize the Washington redskins ever time some one on the field says their own teams name? Hmm? What about Cheesehead? It is not just a term used to describe Packer fans, it is actually a derogatory term. I think you get the point of the absurdity of this stupid premise.

So they are going to make the “N” word a 15 yard penalty, what about the other racial black slurs, are they deemed okay to say … like Ape, Boon, Spoon, Shine, Brownie, Crow, Darkie, Eight Ball, Groid, Sambo, Uncle Tom and so on.  I think you get the point. Who is to say that one of these racial slurs is more offensive than the next and I did not even scratch the surface of the number of racial slurs that exists out there.

It doesn’t end there, next up will be the LGBT with wanting equal rights and having all gay and homophobic slurs a 15 yard penalty as well. I guess we will need to add these to the list as well.

“I don’t care if you like each other, or not, but you will respect each other, and maybe, I don’t know, we’ll … learn to play this game like men.”

The folks at NBC Sports seem to be following my train of thought. If you penalize one racial slur, then you have to penalize all, otherwise its prejudicial and racist!

Wooten’s comments were strictly about the N-word, but if the NFL is going to implement this rule, other racial slurs would presumably be included as well, along with slurs that are homophobic, sexist or religious in nature.

However, the NFL may find such a rule tougher for its officials to implement than it sounds. Would the NFL provide every player, coach and official with a list of words that can’t be used? And who would determine which words make the list? Some slurs may be considered offensive in some contexts but not in others. Members of a racial or ethnic groups sometimes use slurs among themselves, with no offense intended or taken. If one black player uses the N-word toward another black player, and a white official hears it and throws a penalty flag, that may open a can of worms the NFL would rather avoid.

And, of course, not everyone agrees on what constitutes a racial slur. Some people consider “Redskins” a racial slur. If the NFL is so concerned about policing use of offensive words, why is one of its teams using a name that many people find offensive?

On a person note I have played both high school and college football; however, never being talented enough to play in the NFL. I can say this, that football and sports in general are probably the greatest character builders and environment that brings people together from all walks of life, all races, creeds and colors. You play together as one and it makes no difference what the color is of the individual next to you. The individual next to you and around you is your brother. You sweat, bleed, win, lose, reach the ultimate highs and the ultimate lows … but you do it together as a TEAM that knows no boundaries of colors. That is what football is.
