Gun Sales Spike in Ferguson, MO Ahead of the Grand Jury Decision on the Shooting Death of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson
There are tense times ahead of the grand juries decision in Ferguson, Missouri with regards to the shooting death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, as gun sales spike. Will Officer Wilson be cleared or indicted? And if indicted, for what? The longer this goes on, the more tense things get. Those who are pro-Michael Brown claim they want justice; however, it sound more like revenge. The result is many uneasy citizens in Ferguson and the surrounding areas buying up guns for their protection.
Lately, Dan McMullen has been bringing an extra gun to his office in Ferguson, Missouri.
McMullen runs Solo Insurance on West Florissant close to where looting and vandalism briefly broke out in early August after a police officer shot to death teenager Michael Brown.
“I bring an extra gun now only because it has a bigger magazine,” McMullen says. He began carrying it after tensions increased in the area following the shooting. He says he would never use it to protect his business, but he would use it to save his life.
More … Steven King, the owner of Metro Shooting Supplies in Bridgeton, Missouri, says sales have recently “skyrocketed” again because of the fear of the unknown ahead of the grand jury decision. People saw what the protesters were capable of and now want to protect themselves from the protesters, looters and vandals.
“You’re exactly right. In August gun sales went up exponentially. Not only at our store but around the entire St. Louis metropolitan area. It’s kind of tapered off over the last couple of months. And, now in the last week or so, sales have started to skyrocket once again… We have a wide variety of people who are buying right now. We have first time buyers. We have elderly people, white, black, Asian. We’ve got women. We’ve got men. We’ve got head of households. But, primarily we got people, 100% of the people this weekend who have bought a firearm have bought it because of some sort of fear of the unknown.”

Pathetic … NAACP Ignores South Carolina’s Tim Scott & Utah’s Mia Love’s Historic 2014 Election Wins (Video)
What does NAACP stand for … Advancement of Colored People, I guess it only matters if they are liberal Democrats.
The NAACP should be ashamed of itself. The following was a statement provided by Cornell William Brooks, President and CEO of the NAACP following the 2014 midterm elections:
“This election was not about who won but the rather the citizens who lost the right to participate. This first election post the Shelby vs. Holder decision resulted in problems in every single state previously protected by the Voting Rights Act. For 49 years, these states were singled out because they had a history of discriminating against American voters. The Election Protection Hotline we manned with other concerned organizations fielded over 18,000 calls yesterday, many in those same states previously protected by the VRA. As we move forward—it is imperative that our newly elected Congress work with the NAACP and our partners to pass Voting Rights Act Amendment legislation that assures that all Americans have the franchise—our very democracy depends on it.”
What the NAACP failed to mention in their post 2014 election statement was the historic wins by Tim Scott and Mia Love. Are you kidding me? How do you not celebrate all blacks, no matter whether you happen to agree or not with their politics. Tim Scott’s win on Tuesday, November 4th made him the first African-American elected to the US Senate from the South since Reconstruction. That is quite an accomplishment. Also, the NAACP failed to mention that Mia Love was the first black Republican woman to be elected to the House of Representatives.
How does an organization that claims to be about the advancement of blacks fail to mention such note worthy and historic accomplishments? Sadly, the NAACP is all about liberal politics, not the advancement of a race.

Fox News, The Five: Liberal Bob Beckel Flips his Middle Finger at Jesse Watters in Heated Post Election Discussion Clash on Democrats Playing the Race Card
Keep it classy Bob, keep it classy … Jesse Watters actually nails it.
Bob Beckel, the token liberal host on ‘The Five’ lost his cool and gave Jesse Watters the middle finger as he had no factual comeback to the accusations that Democrats had used the race card during this past midterm election. What is most interesting about the events that took place is that Jesse Watters, more known for his ‘Watters World’ segments on The O’Reilly Factor actually nailed the Democrats use of the race card and race baiting 100%, which is most likely why it hit such a nerve with Bob Beckel.
Watters said, “I think I know why they are doing it. If anything that threatens the Democrat monopoly on the black vote, threatens the entire power structure of the Democrat party. It threatens any ability to get the White House. It threatens any ability to control urban areas. It threatens money, power … they try to scared blacks into not trying to cross the line.”
BINGO!!! When you have a voting block that continually and blindly votes +90% for one party, that political party will do anything to keep that overwhelming majority. Imagine what presidential races would be like if blacks voted only 60 to 70% for Democrats?
The panel was discussing Democrats’ use of the “race card” against Republicans before and after the midterm elections when Watters argued, “Anything that threatens the Democrat monopoly on the black vote, threatens the entire power structure of the Democrat party.”
“Oh, come on,” Beckel responded in a frustrated tone.
Later in the segment, Beckel claimed the examples cited during the show were not representative of the Democratic party as a whole.
“Were there any white Democrats denouncing their rhetoric?” Watters replied. “I didn’t hear any. So they’re OK with it.”
“I’m denouncing it,” Beckel shot back.
“You’re not a leader,” Watters said.
After that critical comment, Beckel flipped Watters the bird — and the cameras caught it.
UPDATE I: Beckel later apologized during the show for his actions.

Louisiana Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu Says Barack Obama Struggles Politically in South Because Southerners Are Racist and Sexist … Oh Yeah and that Energy Policy
Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu went there … The South is racist and sexist …
With just days ahead of the 2014 midterm elections and incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu is in a close race, she did what comes natural for Democrats when they have nothing to run on of their own, play the race and sex card. In an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd, Mary Landrieu stated that Barack Obama has had a difficult time politically in the South because, “The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans. It’s been a difficult time for the president to present himself in a very positive light as a leader. It”s not always been a good place for women to present ourselves.” WHAT? In a mark of desperation, Mary Landrieu went there. How tired is this constant cry of racism and war on woman? Sorry Mary, but Obama’s struggles in the South have everything to do with his policies like his anti-energy ones and Obamacare.
This divisive stunt by Landrieu might just cost the Democrats any close election in Southern states like North Carolina, Georgia and Arkansas. The issue before the election will be whether these Democrat candidates agree with Mary Landrieu that the South is racist and sexist.
LANDRIEU: One of the main reasons is because his energy policies are really different than ours. I mean, we’re a pro-production state. We wanna drill almost anywhere. People believe that it’s an opportunity for Americans to become energy self-sufficient.
One of the reasons that the president’s so unpopular is because HE put the moratorium on off-shore drilling. remember? After Macondo. And our state was furious about that. Now he could have shut down the BP operations but he didn’t, he shut down the whole Gulf. When you shut down the whole gulf of Mexico it puts a lot of people here at risk and out of business. That’s number one.
I’ll be very very honest with you. The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans. It’s been a difficult time for the president to present himself in a very positive light as a leader. It”s not always been a good place for women to present ourselves. It’s more of a conservative place. So we’ve had to work a little bit harder on that, but you know, the people trust me, I believe. Really they do. Trust me to do the right thing for the state.
Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu said Thursday that the issue of race is a major reason that President Barack Obama has struggled politically in Southern states.
“I’ll be very, very honest with you. The South has not always been the friendliest place for African-Americans,” Landrieu told NBC News in an interview. “It’s been a difficult time for the president to present himself in a very positive light as a leader.”
Noting that the South is “more of a conservative place,” she added that women have also faced challenges in “presenting ourselves.
Comment in response from Louisiana Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal, who called it “remarkably divisive.” The Gateway Pundit reminds us that Bobby Jindal is an Indian-American.
“She appears to be living in a different century,” he said in a statement. “Implied in her comments is the clear suggestion that President Obama and his policies are unpopular in Louisiana because of his ethnicity. That is a major insult by Senator Landrieu to the people of Louisiana and I flatly reject it.”
EXIT QUESTION: Mary Landrieu how do you explain Obama’s approval rating in the 30′s in Lilly-white New Hampshire?

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley Says It’s a Dirty, Dark Secret: “Unintelligent, Brainwashed African-Americans” Keeping Successful Black Men Down
One thing you can always count on with NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, is for him to speak his mind no matter how controversial …
WOW … While appearing on a Philadelphia radio station, “Afternoons with Anthony Gargano and Rob Ellis,” Charles Barkley accused “unintelligent,” “brainwashed” African-Americans of keeping successful ones down” as Barkley discussed the rumor that Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was getting criticism from his black teammates for not being, “black enough.” Barkley stated that it was the “dirty, dark secret” … ”Unfortunately, as I tell my white friends, we as black people, we’re never going to be successful, not because of you white people, but because of other black people. When you’re black, you have to deal with so much crap in your life from other black people.”
I guess they will be saying Sir Charles is not black enough either.
”Unfortunately, as I tell my white friends, we as black people, we’re never going to be successful, not because of you white people, but because of other black people. When you’re black, you have to deal with so much crap in your life from other black people. It’s a dirty, dark secret; I’m glad it’s coming out.”
“There are a lot of black people who are unintelligent, who don’t have success,” he continued. “It’s best to knock a successful black person down because they’re intelligent, they speak well, they do well in school, and they’re successful…”
“We’re the only ethnic group who say, ‘Hey, if you go to jail, it gives you street cred.’ It’s just typical BS that goes on when you’re black, man.”
