Non-Profit Homes for Our Troops Gave Home to “Permanently Paralyzed” Vet Army Specialist Justin Perez-Gorda … Now Must Weigh Options as it Appears to Have been a Fraud

STOLEN VALOR HOME Was this a con from the outset by this couple to get a new home bought and paid for?

Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization, provided military veteran Army Specialist Justin Perez-Gorda a home free of charge to account for his handicap and paralysis; however, something fishy appears to be going on … within weeks after Justin Perez-Gorda and his wife moved into the home, he was walking. Miracle or fraud? I will opt for the latter. When confronted by the media of his miraculous recovery, Justin Perez-Gorda told the reporter to get off his property.  The non-profit, Homes for Our Troops said the organization is thinking about its next steps and has to weigh their options. One of them might be trying to take back the home.

The man suffered a brain injury in Afghanistan in 2011, but for years he and his wife claimed that he was paralyzed form the waist down.

“He has permanent loss of use of both lower extremities. He’s paralyzed from the belly button down,” Josephine Perez-Gorda said in a Homes for Our Troops promotional video.

But, soon after the couple moved into the house specially designed for a handicapped individual, neighbors noticed something odd: Perez-Gorda could walk. Those who spoke to WTSP said the couple became angry when asked about his condition.

‘Paralyzed’ veteran given free home caught walking.

Army Specialist Justin Perez-Gorda suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving in Afghanistan in January 2011.

For years, he and his wife claimed publicly he was paralyzed from the belly button down.

“He has permanent loss of use of both lower extremities. He’s paralyzed from the belly button down,” Josephine Perez-Gorda said during a taped video segment later used by Homes for Our Troops for fundraising efforts.

Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.

If this is a fraud, which it really appears to be, it is disgusting. With so many soldiers returning from war in Iraq and Afghanistan that are truly needing of such homes, for one of their own to perpetrate such a con is just unconscionable. There is no doubt that Army Specialist Justin Perez-Gorda suffered some type of injury, but it was nothing like what was embellished. Watch the promotional VIDEO below from Homes for Our Troops and you can plainly hear Justin’s wife, Josephine Perez-Gorda, say at the 1:35 minute mark that he has permanent loss of the use of both lower extremities and that he was paralyzed from the belly-button down. Hmm, that is a far cry from the VIDEO above where Justin can be seen walking and carrying wood.

Army SPC Justin Perez-Gorda was on his first deployment when he became a paraplegic and suffered a traumatic brain injury, as the result of an IED explosion in Memlah, Afghanistan on January 5, 2011.

Ramadi Falls to ISIS in Anbar Province in Iraq … Obama is a Miserable Failure

THANKS BARACK OBAMA … THE JV HAS TAKEN RAMADI.

Barack Obama’s failed foreign policy continues as Ramadi falls to ISIS in Iraq to ISIS. Thanks Barack! According to iCasualties, via the Gateway Pundit, the United States lost 1335 soldiers in Anbar Province during Operation Iraqi Freedom and another 8,205 soldiers were injured in fighting in Anbar. During the presidency of George W. Bush, the terrorists were truly on the run thanks to the surge. However, with all that American treasure and blood lost, Barack Obama found a way to render it all futile as he prematurely withdrew US troops from Iraq paving the way for ISIS to retake Iraq. UNREAL.

With Memorial Day coming up, Obama should simply be ashamed of himself and what he has done to the memory and legacy of Our brave fallen soldiers in Iraq.

Obama_Islam will dominate the world

The capture of Ramadi — a major city in Anbar province — by ISIS forces yesterday is another indicator of the Obama administration’s failed policies in Iraq, a foreign policy expert said yesterday.

The contested city of Ramadi fell to the Islamic State group yesterday, as Iraqi forces abandoned their weapons and armored vehicles, fleeing the provincial capital despite intensified U.S.-led airstrikes. Bodies littered the streets as local officials reported the militants carried out mass killings of Iraqi security forces and civilians.

“Ramadi has fallen,” said Muhannad Haimour, a spokesman for the governor of Anbar province. “The city was completely taken. … The military is fleeing.”

Yesterday’s retreat recalled the collapse of Iraqi security forces in last summer’s ISIS blitz, and calls into question the Obama administration’s hopes of relying solely on airstrikes to support the Iraqi forces.

“It’s a reminder the complete withdrawal from Iraq in 2011 was one of the worst diplomatic mistakes in the last decade,” said Victor Davis Hanson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute. “Anybody who knew Iraq knew that the Iraqi Army in 2011 was not going to be able to take care of itself.

“It’s a tragedy that was preventable,” Hanson said. “It made no sense. We created a vacuum and ISIS was born. When the president left he said, ‘I’m leaving a stable and secure Iraq.’?”

Hey Obama, who is the JV? You might want to look in the mirror on that one.

US Delta Force Commandos Kill ISIS Commander Abu Sayyaf in Syrian Raid

ISIS commander killed by DELTA FORCE

The AP is reporting that US Army commandos from Delta Force have killed ISIS commander, Abu Sayyaf, in a Syrian raid. During the raid, deep into Syria, the commandos not only killed Abu Sayyaf, but also captuared his wife, Umm Sayyaf, who is being questioned in U.S. custody.  As stated at Hot Air, “Sayyaf was a top money guy for the terrorists, in charge of trafficking their oil and gas on the black market along with who knows what other revenue sources they rely on to fund their fighters and keep their operation running.”

Isn’t it amazing what happens when the US military is allowed to act like the elite fighting force that it is and is allowed to take the terrorist out.

In a rare ground attack deep into Syria, U.S. Army commandos killed a man described as the Islamic State’s head of oil operations, captured his wife and rescued a woman whom American officials said was enslaved.

A team of Delta Force commandos slipped across the border from Iraq under cover of darkness Saturday aboard Black Hawk helicopters and V-22 Osprey aircraft, according to a U.S. defense official knowledgeable about details of the raid. The official was not authorized to discuss the operation publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The Americans intended to capture a militant identified by U.S. officials as Abu Sayyaf. When they arrived at his location, a multi-story building, they met stiff resistance, the U.S. official said, and a firefight ensued, resulting in bullet-hole damage to the U.S. aircraft.

Abu Sayyaf was killed, along with an estimated dozen IS fighters, U.S. officials said. No American was killed or wounded.

Before the sun had risen, the commandos flew back to Iraq where Abu Sayyaf’s wife, Umm Sayyaf, was being questioned in U.S. custody, officials said.

CNN: Abu Sayyaf, key ISIS figure in Syria, killed in U.S. raid.

The ISIS commander, Abu Sayyaf, was killed in a heavy firefight after he resisted capture in the raid at al-Omar, U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said in a statement.

Sayyaf’s wife, an Iraqi named Umm Sayyaf, was caught and is being held in Iraq.

The ground operation was led by the Army’s Delta Force, sources familiar with the mission told CNN. There were about two dozen members of Delta Force involved, sources said. They were part of a multi-branch force of about 100, the sources told CNN’s Barbara Starr.

“Abu Sayyaf was a senior ISIL leader who, among other things, had a senior role in overseeing ISIL’s illicit oil and gas operations — a key source of revenue that enables the terrorist organization to carry out their brutal tactics and oppress thousands of innocent civilians,” she said in a statement.

“He was also involved with the group’s military operations.”

Abu Sayyaf was a Tunisian citizen, a senior administration official said.

A U.S. official with direct knowledge of the intelligence and the ground operation described Sayyaf as “CFO of all of ISIS with expertise in oil and gas” who played a increasing role in operations, planning and communications.

Author Seymour M. Hersh Says Barack Obama Lied About Osama bin Laden raid

IMAGE THAT, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA LIED ABOUT SOMETHING …

On Sunday in the London Review of Books, author Seymour M. Hersh , published as expose alleging that President Obama deceived Americans with his narrative of the 2011 assassination of Osama bin Laden.  Hersh accuses Obama of rushing to take credit for the al Qaeda leader’s death. Read the full story at The Hill.

The Hill:

An expose published on Sunday alleges that President Obama deceived Americans with his narrative of the 2011 assassination of Osama bin Laden.

Author Seymour M. Hersh accuses Obama of rushing to take credit for the al Qaeda leader’s death.

This decision, Hersh argues in the London Review of Books, forced the military and intelligence communities to scramble and then corroborate the president’s version of events.

“High-level lying nonetheless remains the modus operandi of U.S. policy, along with secret prisons, drone attacks, Special Forces night raids, bypassing the chain of command, and cutting out those who might say no,” Hersh wrote of the Obama administration’s counterterrorism policies.

Hersh based his report on a single, anonymous source. This individual, he said, is a “retired senior intelligence official who was knowledgeable about the initial intelligence about bin Laden’s presence in Abottabad.”

Hersh’s source alleged that the Pakistani government had an active role in approving and implementing the raid on bin Laden’s compound.

LEFTWING MEDIA HAS GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME … CNN’s Brooke Baldwin Blames Military Veterans for Baltimore Riots (Update: Apologizes on Twitter. Finally on TV)

LIBERALISM TRULY IS A MENTAL DISEASE … WELCOME TO THE DEMOCRAT-MEDIA COMPLEX.

While doing an interview with Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) in the midst of the turmoil on the streets of Baltimore, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin had the audacity to blame military veterans for the Baltimore riots. WHAT? This liberal media-insanoid literally blamed vets coming home saying, “I love our nation’s veterans, but some of them are coming back from war, they don’t know the communities, and they are ready to do battle.” Really, you love them, I would hate to see if you didn’t love them what you would say. Welcome to the LEFT-wing media of today that does not report the news, but instead tries to pain a narrative that does not exist. Sorry, ESPN suspended foul-mouthed ESPN reporter Britt McHenry went off on a tirade on a impound lot employee, CNN should fire Brooke Baldwin for these false and ugly comments. But they won’t because this is the hate and bias that consumes liberal media outlets today.

Hmm, so what is Brooke Baldwin’s message, or should i say smear … Don’t hire vets because they are too unstable to be trusted? But don’t worry, she loves them.

VIDEO – Washington Free Beacon

From Breitbart.com:

After more than a year of CNN pouring gasoline all over America with hysterical, and oftentimes phony, stories of American racism, the left-wing network’s afternoon anchor Brooke Baldwin finally took it to the next level by blaming American veterans for the Baltimore riots.

In a pathetic suck-up interview with Democrat Congressman Elijah Cummins, Baldwin never once had the moral courage to ask the failed Baltimore City congressman if the left-wing policies ushered in by a half-century of a Democrat monopoly in Baltimore might have something to do with the city’s ills. Instead, she said of young military veterans who become police officers, “I love our nation’s veterans, but some of them are coming back from war, they don’t know the communities, and they are ready to do battle.”

The context was a discussion about increased training and retraining for the Baltimore police.

There’s no question Baldwin is hoping to launch a narrative with that smear.

UPDATE I: Brooke Baldwin apologized like a coward hiding behind her Twitter account. Sorry Brooke, you don’t get to make such inflammatory, hateful and defamatory comments like you did stereotyping our brave American vets on TV and then apologize on Twitter. What a brave soul you are. Get your butt on TV and apologize. Then I want you to go to  Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, she’s not that far away and apologize in person to wounded vets.

UPDATE II: Brooke Baldwin’s lame Twitter apology did not cut it so she was forced to apologize on TV.

CNN’s Brooke Baldwin this morning may have done the impossible: Deliver a mea culpa that the nation’s apology police cannot possibly puncture, dismantle, nitpick or otherwise trash.

Sweeping, tendentious nonsense. Baldwin offered no evidence to support her case that somehow battle-scarred veterans from recent wars were responsible for any of the policing problems in the country’s big cities, let alone in Baltimore. People on the Internet let her know of their disapproval. Baldwin’s first response was a bit weak:

That defense doesn’t work at CNN, which sells itself as a purveyor of straight-up journalism around the clock. So what if some hack “vocalized” a concern to Baldwin? Isn’t it her job to filter that concern, fact-check it and pat it down before “re-vocalizing” it?

Given some more time to think about it all, Baldwin this morning came around. Early this morning, she tweeted.

On CNN’s “New Day” program Baldwin said the following:

I made a mistake yesterday. We were in the middle of live TV, I was talking to a member of Congress, and I was recounting a story, a conversation I had had recently just referring to police. And I absolutely misspoke, I inartfully chose my words 100 percent and I just wish speaking to all of you this morning: I wholeheartedly retract what I said. And I’ve thought tremendously about this, and to our nation’s veterans, to you — this is just who I want to speak with this morning — I have the utmost respect for our men and women in uniform. And I wanted you to know that this morning, so to all of you, I owe a tremendous apology. I am truly sorry.

Sorry Brooke if I don’t believe a word of your apology. You meant every word you said, and that’s okay, just own it. You are a bed-wetting liberal who doesn’t know any better and repeats hateful BS. That’s okay, just say it.

EXIT QUESTION: Replace “VET” with “BLACKS” and does Brooke Baldwin have a job this morning?
