More Political Correctness: CNN Apologizes for Guest Using “CrossHairs” … What Would they Ever Say about George Carlin and his Baseball-Football Skit?

How pathetic has political correctness become? CNN actually apologized for a guest using the word “cross-hairs”. Imagine that, that evil, hate monger used the term, “in the cross-hairs”. That gets an apology, but the incorrect and purposely false reporting that Jared Loughner, the alleged Tucson tragedy gunman who killed six was a right-wing Tea Party member gets nothing. This is the message that the MSM has learned from the Tucson tragedy? One would think there would be a greater look into mental health and the ability to “target” mentally disturbed people sooner capable of violence.

With the PC hysteria, the media might want to start with themselves. So metaphors of CNN’s choice are now deemed bad. Just curious, in a CNN board room have they ever stated they would target a certain demographic or would CNN ever accept commercial ad space from TARGET?

Classic Values is not so many words tells CNN and John King where to stick is apologizing for free speech.

 What would CNN ever do with comedian George Carlin and his skit on Baseball vs. Football? The comic classic would be watered down to mere dribble if CNN and the rest of the pathetic MSM had their PC way. Would they be apologizing ffor the following, “Football is played on a gridiron, in a stadium, sometimes called Soldier Field or War Memorial Stadium“. Oh no, Carlin said war, we must apologize. Then there is this horrible comic line that has caused so many madmen to take up arms, “Football is rigidly timed, and it will end even if we’ve got to go to sudden death.”So does this mean that in all sports cast, the announcers will no longer be able to use such abusive language like “sudden death”?

And, in football, they have the clip, the hit, the block, the tackle, the blitz, the bomb, the offense and the defense;

It is unbelievable that freedom of speech and the political correctness police have come to this. What a sad state of affairs. Will CNN print a manual of acceptable words that can be used on their air without having to sit in the corner in time out if used? Just curious, how many shooting sprees was George Carlin responsible for?

Fake targets, cross-hairs or bulls-eyes on a map to show politically targeted states or districts are evil, bad and make “registered Independents” go crazy, however, using a rifle complete with scope and real cross-hairs to “take dead aim”at a piece of legislation is perfectly ok. I think we can see the hypocrisy of the LEFT once again on display.

Just another example of PDS and a double standard for Democrats. The LEFT actually made references that Sarah Palin, Michelle Bauchman, Fox News are accessories to murder. Just how insane has the LEFT become?  Oh but it’s different for Democrats, Palin is inciting violence by putting cross-hairs on a map, however, newly elected Senator Joe Manchin (WV-D) was using a gun shooting as a metaphor.

Manchin said in a statement today.

“The act of a deranged madman who commits a horrific act should not and cannot be confused with a metaphor about a piece of legislation. I have never targeted an individual, and I never would,” he added. “This tragedy, I hope, serves as call for common sense, and wake-up call that we should all come together with common purpose to do what is best for our country.”

Good Grief, Far Left Animal Rights Group Attacks Sarah Palin for Clubbing Fish on TLC Reality Show … Called It a “Snuff Video”

Good Grief Charlie Brown, you just can’t make this whacked up stuff out from the LEFT.

The far LEFT anaimals right group,  In Defense Of Animals, called the images on Sarah Palin’s reality TV show a “snuff video“. WHAT! More PDS, Palin Deranngement Syndrome, from the LEFT. What would these fools suggest, a lethal injection? Maybe that would sooth the lunacy of these moonbats. Is this news to the loony LEFT, we kill the food we eat.

After catching a fish, Sarah is seen beating it with a club and Bristol later holds its still-beating heart in her hand, a sight Sarah called ‘weird’.

A spokesperson for animal rights group In Defense Of Animals told TMZ: ‘Sarah Palin’s complete lack of compassion as demonstrated in this snuff video is disgusting.’

The group adds: ‘Most disturbing is the way she seems to enjoy causing suffering to other beings. When they laugh about the beating heart that Bristol holds in her hand, their complete insensitivity to the animal kingdom becomes clear.‘

However, a spokesperson for the Alaska Charter Association stated that the clubbing technique is humane because it supposedly minimises suffering. In fact, halibut clubbing is actually a standard practice among fishermen. It’s a standard practice; however, when Sarah Palin is seen doing it, the moonbat LEFT wants to try her for war crimes.

This is yet another example of how the LEFT completely loses their collective minds when it comes to Sarah Palin. I guess phony Democrat photo-ops of politicians hunting and fishing are more to their liking. The double standard of the LEFT is pathetic. If Obama ever did something like this the MSM and the LEFT would be praising Barack as an alpha male and praising his gravitas.

NPR, National Public Radio, has fired Fox News contributor Juan Williams for comments that he made on Fox News regarding Muslims. Williams made his comments regarding Muslims on The O’Reilly Factor with Bill O’Reilly when discussing the “Muslim dilemma”. What did Williams say that was so inflammatory that it warranted his firing … nothing more than any common sense thinking individual does. However, in the world of liberal propaganda media, that cannot be tolerated.

So much for Freedom of Speech when it comes to the LEFT and the liberal MSM. How foolish do these “pinheads” look when the very tenants of liberalism and free thought are shown for what they really are? Do not agree with us or you will be fired! Liberals and the moonbat LEFT, hell the Obama White House has attacked Fox News … yet isn’t it telling that FOX NEWS allows differing opinion; however, the LEFT does not. So much for “Fair & Balanced”. Remember when the Obama WH tried to ban Fox News from pool reporters?

How bad, evil and insipid has the LEFT become when an individual like Juan Williams who has championed civil rights in America is shamelessly fired for providing an obvious opinion? I do not agree with most of the things that Juan Williams says and as a matter of fact most of the time I just shake my head; however, a differing opinion in the news id what is wanted and needed. I thought the LEFT stood for diversity, or at least they claim to … I guess not!

What about the fairness doctrine that the Liberals are so enamored with? First we have the crazy ladies of the view, Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Bahar, storm off the view in a hissy fit … now this. I wonder how Juan Williams feels about “political correctness” these days? By simply making a statement regarding how Americans felt about post 9-11 travel after 3000 individuals were murdered by flying planes into building … that is a firable offence. WAKE UP AMERICA!

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.

As Weasel Zippers states, so much for a diversity of opinion on American tax funded NPR. So much for “fair & balanced” from NPR, eh? Williams was fired from NPR because he did not toe the company, progressive, liberal line. The NPR statement said that William’s remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR”. WHAT? Did NPR just call themselves “bed wetting liberals” with a political agenda? Are not they supposed to be a tax funded news organization that is partially tax funded?
