Jon Stewart Hammers Barack Obama Over Obamacare Health Care Rollout

Once again the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart made President Barack Obama and the Obamacare roll out the brunt of his jokes. But to be fair to Obamacare, most Americans think it is a joke. Stewart shredded Obama’s double talk and lack of clarity like when “O” said, that the Healthcare.gov website would be fixed by the end of November. Now Obama is walking back his guarantee that the “glitchy” web site  will be fully functional by the end of November. Stewart mocking Obama said, “Let me be clear. When I said ‘November,’ I did not say which November. Let me be clear about that.” The Stewart hammered Obama on his revisionist history of his presidential campaign slogan.

“I think I said early on when I was running, I am not a perfect man and I will not be a perfect president,” Obama had said.

That wasn’t the slogan you campaigned on!“ Stewart exclaimed. “I think when you campaigned you were all, ‘Yes We Can!’ I don’t remember the other slogan being out there.”

11/16/13 – Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) Delivers Weekly GOP Address … “President Obama’s so-called apology, was as phony as his fraudulent marketing of Obamacare” … “You didn’t inadvertently misspeak”

Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsen delivered the Republican Weekly Address for November 16, 2013 and completely eviscerated President Barack Obama’s credibility as Johnson hammered Obama for his calculated lies, his fraud perpetrated on the American people and his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare.

At this point for the millions who have lost their insurance and for the millions more who are about to, it is obvious that President Obama intentionally mislead and lied to the American people in order to sell Obamacare and get it passed by a partisan Democrat vote. Now all the things that Americans were warned about are coming true. Then for political cover Obama offers a fix that simply just breaks more promises and pledges to “We the People”.  Do you not think that this is just the tip of the iceberg?  Just how many ten’s of millions will lose their insurance when the employer mandate kicks in next year? If you think there is chaos now with the private insureds losing insurance, guess what is going to happen when the overwhelming majority of individuals and their families lose their employer plans and are forced onto Obamacare.

Text of address from Real Clear Politics:

SEN. RON JOHNSON (R-WI): “President Obama said he wants to fundamentally transform America. So far, his attempt to transform our health care system has not been pretty – with Obamacare, he did far more than just fumble the ball.

“Contrary to his repeated promise, that ‘if you like your health care plan, you can keep it,’ millions of Americans are not only losing their insurance coverage, they are losing access to the doctors and treatments that have kept them alive.

“President Obama’s so-called apology, was as phony as his fraudulent marketing of Obamacare. He seemed to be saying he was sorry Americans actually believed him, but took no responsibility for their plight. It was like telling someone you’re sorry their dog died, but refusing to acknowledge you ran over the dog.

“Sorry Mr. President, it didn’t work. Millions of Americans are coming to realize that those are your tire tracks on their cancelled policies. It is also obvious that you didn’t inadvertently misspeak when you promised Americans they can keep their doctors and health plans – and do it all at a lower cost.

Those assurances weren’t slight exaggerations or innocent shadings of the truth. They were statements that were fully vetted, coldly calculated, and carefully crafted to deceptively sell your health care plan to a trusting public. It was a political fraud echoed relentlessly by House and Senate Democrats who should be held accountable for the disastrous consequences of their grand deception.

“Consumer fraud this massive in the private sector could – and should – bear serious legal ramifications. For President Obama, however, it helped secure enough votes to pass Obamacare, and win reelection.

“Now America must face the truth, and Congress must work to limit the damage that Obamacare will inflict on our health care system and people’s lives. The systemic failure of the healthcare.gov website and cancelled policies are only the tip of this destructive iceberg. (full text HERE)

Bipartisan Vote: House Passes Bill That OKs ‘Keep Your Health Plan’ for Obamacare as 39 Democrats Split from Barack Obama

Finally a bi-partisan vote on Obamacare, but not sure how much good it will do.

Democrats defect and pass Republican fix for Obamacare … The House of Representatives voted 261-to-157 as 39 Democrats split from President Barack Obama and passed the “Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013.” Th bill to allow Americans to keep their health care plans banned because of Obamacare. There is no word as to whether Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid would allow this bill to come up for a vote and President Obama has stated that if H.R. 3350 was sent to him, he would veto it. Yup, sound like Obama really wants to make “fixes” to help the American people, doesn’t it? However, the real story of this vote is that 39 Democrats split with Obama and sided with the bill sponsored by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI).

Chairman Fred Upton Urges House to Pass the Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013

Thirty-nine House Democrats joined 222 Republicans to pass the “Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013,” a bill to allow Americans to keep certain health care plans banned because of Obamacare.

The 261-to-157 vote was the largest sign of defection yet for President Obama on his signature legislative achievement.

Many of the Democrats who supported the bill, sponsored by Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., are in highly competitive districts and were eager to cast a vote in support of fixing the troubled Affordable Care Act.

It was the latest in a series of embarrassing blows for the White House. But it remained symbolic. The Senate won’t take up the bill and the White House threatened to veto it.

House Speaker John Boehner called the vote “a big, bipartisan statement about the need to make things right” regarding the hang-ups in the controversial law.

CNN: Democrats defect, back GOP Obamacare fix

As stated at The Politco, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said in the weekly Republican address Saturday, “We need long-term solutions to the Obamacare debacle, not short-term political fixes like those recently proposed by the President and Senate Democrats that simply will not work.”

Hmm, In 2007 Hillary Clinton Made Promises Just Like Obama: “You Can Keep the Doctors You Know and Trust” … “You Keep the Isurance You Have, If You Like It”

BACK TO THE FUTURE: This is not government run healthcare … Haven’t we heard this before?

In 2007 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton offered up her own form of healthcare reform, that resembled an awful lot like Obamacare. Hillary Clinton said in Sept. 17, 2007 in Des Moines, Iowa, “You can keep the doctors you know and trust. You keep the insurance you have.   If you have private insurance you like, nothing changes — you can keep that insurance.” Wait, haven’t we heard this before. But where, it just sounds so familiar.

Oh wait, it was Barack Obama and his BS promise to the American people that if you like your doctor or healthcare plan, you can keep it, PERIOD!   In 2016, do we really need another one of these lying Democrats in the White House? Hillary Clinton is nothing more than the white, female Barack Obama. For the love of God, America … WAKE UP!!!

From The Washington Examiner:

When she was last a candidate for president in 2007, Hillary Clinton unveiled her own health care proposal, which, like Obamacare, included beefed-up benefits and a catchy pitch: “If you have a plan you like, you keep it.” Obama went on to defeat Clinton, but he adopted her tag line to help win support for his own health care plan — making the same promise, for which he recently apologized.

“You can keep the doctors you know and trust. You keep the insurance you have,” Clinton said on Sept. 17, 2007, at the Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. “If you have private insurance you like, nothing changes — you can keep that insurance.”

Clinton’s campaign website echoed that claim. “If you have a plan you like, you keep it,” it read.

Hillary Clinton is an old hand at health care reform. In 1993, when her husband was president, she led a health care reform effort that ultimately crashed and burned.

Andrew C. McCarthy, Former Assistant United States Attorney Says … “Barack Obama is Guilty of Committing Serial Fraud” … “The Remedy is Impeachment”

WOW, this is a must see VIDEO … “Barack Obama is Guilty of Committing Serial Fraud”

Someone has finally come out and said it, Andrew McCarthy, a former Assistant US attorney said last night on the ‘Kelly Files,’ that President Barack Obama was guilty of committing serial fraud against the American people.

“If ever there has been a fraud on the entire American people it’s this one. And, I would say, Megyn, this business about, “you want your plan, you keep your plan,” is just the beginning of it … We’re talking about serial fraud on multiple levels and multiple level misrepresentations… This is an ‘in your face’ almost a crude fraud … The remedy the Framers gave us for reigning in executive excess especially if it gets this abusive is impeachment. Impeachment is a political remedy not a legal remedy… This is a big scandalous scheme and the more you look at it, systematic dishonesty is rife all the way through it.”

VIDEO Hat Tip – The Gateway Pundit

Fraud:

A false representation of a matter of fact—whether by words or by conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of what should have been disclosed—that deceives and is intended to deceive another so that the individual will act upon it to her or his legal injury.

Fraud is commonly understood as dishonesty calculated for advantage. A person who is dishonest may be called a fraud. In the U.S. legal system, fraud is a specific offense with certain features.

Fraud is most common in the buying or selling of property, including real estate, Personal Property, and intangible property, such as stocks, bonds, and copyrights. State and federal statutes criminalize fraud, but not all cases rise to the level of criminality. Prosecutors have discretion in determining which cases to pursue. Victims may also seek redress in civil court.

Fraud must be proved by showing that the defendant’s actions involved five separate elements: (1) a false statement of a material fact,(2) knowledge on the part of the defendant that the statement is untrue, (3) intent on the part of the defendant to deceive the alleged victim, (4) justifiable reliance by the alleged victim on the statement, and (5) injury to the alleged victim as a result.

Andrew McCarthy’s article from The National Review Online, ‘Obama’s Massive Fraud‘:

Fraud is a serious federal felony, usually punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment — with every repetition of a fraudulent communication chargeable as a separate crime. In computing sentences, federal sentencing guidelines factor in such considerations as the dollar value of the fraud, the number of victims, and the degree to which the offender’s treachery breaches any special fiduciary duties he owes. Cases of multi-million-dollar corporate frauds — to say nothing of multi-billion-dollar, Bernie Madoff–level scams that nevertheless pale beside Obamacare’s dimensions — often result in terms amounting to decades in the slammer.

Justice Department guidelines, set forth in the U.S. Attorneys Manual, recommend prosecution for fraud in situations involving “any scheme which in its nature is directed to defrauding a class of persons, or the general public, with a substantial pattern of conduct.” So, for example, if a schemer were intentionally to deceive all Americans, or a class of Americans (e.g., people who had health insurance purchased on the individual market), by repeating numerous times — over the airwaves, in mailings, and in electronic announcements — an assertion the schemer knew to be false and misleading, that would constitute an actionable fraud — particularly if the statements induced the victims to take action to their detriment, or lulled the victims into a false sense of security.

[...]

A material omission is the intentional failure to state any fact the communication of which would be necessary to ensure that statements already made are not misleading. The concept of material omission is a staple of fraud prosecutions. A good example is the Obama Justice Department’s ongoing and transparently political effort to portray financial institutions — as opposed to government policies — as the proximate cause of the mortgage-industry collapse that resulted in our national economic meltdown.
