Another Misrepresentation Spread to the Masses … The Party of the Rich in Congress are Democrats, Not the GOP
So much for the Democrat talking point that the Republicans are the party of the Rich …
Hmm, looks like it is the Democrats who are the party of the rich. As reported in the Yahoo News, Democrats represent 8 of the 10 richest House districts in the United States. Actually, Democrats have the top six wealthiest districts, Republicans represent #7 and #10.
Republicans are the party of the rich, right? It’s a label that has stuck for decades, and you’re hearing it again as Democrats complain about GOP opposition to raising the minimum wage and extending unemployment benefits.
But in Congress, the wealthiest among us are more likely to be represented by a Democrat than a Republican. Of the 10 richest House districts, only two have Republican congressmen. Democrats claim the top six, sprinkled along the East and West coasts. Most are in overwhelmingly Democratic states like New York and California
The 10 richest House districts:
- New York 12 – Rep. Carolyn Maloney, Democrat – Per capita income: $75,479
- California 33 – Rep. Henry Waxman, Democrat – Per capita income: $61,273
- New York 10 – Rep. Jerry Nadler, Democrat – Per capita income: $56,138
- California 18 – Rep. Anna Eshoo, Democrat – Per capita income: $ 54,182
- Connecticut 4 – Rep. Jim Himes, Democrat – Per capita income: $50,732
- Virginia 8 – Rep. Jim Moran, Democrat – Per capita income: $50,210
- New Jersey 7 – Rep. Leonard Lance, Republican – Per capita income: $48,556
- California 12 – Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Democrat – Per capita income: $48,523
- New York 3 – Rep. Steve Israel, Democrat – Per capita income: $47,991
- Virginia 10 – Rep. Frank Wolf, Republican – Per capita income: $47,281

Sen. Angus King (ME-I) Says, “There’s no such thing as Obamacare.”
I BET DEMOCRATS AND THOSE WHO CAUCUS WITH THEM BET THEIR BOTTOM DOLLAR THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS OBAMACARE …
Democrats and Indy liberals can’t run away from Obama’s signature piece of legislation fast enough. Now those who brought you Obamacare want to tell you there is no such thing as Obamacare. Nothing can be trusted what comes out of their mouths.
This morning on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Independent Senator Angus King from Maine, who caucuses with Democrats, stated that there was no such thing as Obamacare. This clown is actually trying to make it appear that it is the private insurance companies that are to blame and use their name. Trust me from personal first hand experience, HHS is dictating to all carriers every aspect of how these plans look, walk and talk.
Oh, only if that were true and we could dare to dream. However, sadly there is Obamacare and as we are reminded by Democrats, it is the law of the land. Make no mistake about it Sen. King, the Democrats that you align yourself with are solely responsible for this disastrous healthcare train wreck as it was rammed down the throats of all Americans by a strictly Democrat partisan vote in the Senate (60-40) and in the House. Not one Republican in either chamber voted for Obamacare. Democrats own it and Democrats will choke on it!
“Two points if I may, sir,” says Fox host Chris Wallace. “One, then why is Harry Reid saying he’s not going to allow a vote on the fixes? And, two, speak directly and briefly, because we’re about to run out of time, to Senator Barrasso’s comment that a lot of doctors, a lot of hospitals are being excluded by what Obamacare is offering.”
“Now, now that’s a big — There is no such thing as Obamacare. You can’t sign up for Obamacare. You sign up for an Anthem policy or an Aetna policy or a WellPoint policy. It’s private insurance,” said King.
Sen. John Barrasso (WY-R), also appearing on FNS, stated regarding the so-called 6 million sign-ups for Obamacare, that the “White House was cooking the books”. and claiming that the signup numbers are far different than the enrollment numbers versus those that have actually paid their first premium.
“I don’t think [six million] means anything, Chris,” he began. “I think they’re cooking the books on this. People want to know the answers to that. They also want to know, when this is all said and done, what kind of insurance will those actually have?”
“Will they be able to keep the doctor that they want?” he continued. “How much more is it going to cost them? And we know that the best cancer hospitals in the country want very little to do with people that actually buy this insurance on the Obamacare exchanges.
Hey Angus, don’t tell Barack Obama there is no such thing as Obamacare. Because that would mean he has done zero as president and remember, Barack does not mind calling it Obamacare because He cares.
Another Illegal Delay: Obama Administration Extends Obamacare March Deadline Into April … What Happened to Sebelius Saying, “there is no delay beyond March 31?”
Another day and another illegal Obamacare delay …
The Obama administration has just made another arbitrary and illegal delay in providing Americans more time to enroll for Obamacare. As reported at the Washington Post, the goal posts have been moved again by the Obama administration and another delay has been implemented for Obamacare enrollment from March 31 to mid-April. But get this astonishing requirement, the White House is allowing the “honor system” for the extension. These people are just making this crap up as they go along. This is beyond unbelievable that all of this stuff is being done on a whim depending of the bad news of the day of the enrollment numbers that the Obama administration claims they don’t have access to. Is it any wonder why our country is so screwed up under this president? Obamacare is just a microcosm of how Obama handles everything.
Statutes, what statutes … I am above the law
The Obama administration has decided to give extra time to Americans who say that they are unable to enroll in health plans through the federal insurance marketplace by the March 31 deadline.
Federal officials confirmed Tuesday evening that all consumers who have begun to apply for coverage on HealthCare.gov, but who do not finish by Monday, will have until about mid-April to ask for an extension.
Under the new rules, people will be able to qualify for an extension by checking a blue box on HealthCare.gov to indicate that they tried to enroll before the deadline. This method will rely on an honor system; the government will not try to determine whether the person is telling the truth.
The rules, which will apply to the federal exchanges operating in three dozen states, will essentially create a large loophole even as White House officials have repeatedly said that the March 31 deadline was firm. The extra time will not technically alter the deadline but will create a broad new category of people eligible for what’s known as a special enrollment period.
What happened to change the fact that Obamacare enrollment was not going to be extended? Wasn’t it just earlier this month that a CMS spokesperson and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated there would be no more delays? HHS official Julie Bataille said. “In fact, we don’t actually have the statutory authority to extend the open enrollment period in 2014.” And on March 12, 2014 Sebelius testified before Congress as such and said specifically, there would be no Obamacare enrollment delay past March 31?
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services spokeswoman Julie Bataille said during a conference call on Tuesday that ‘we have no plans to extend the open enrollment period’ that began amid fits and starts on October 1.
‘In fact, we don’t actually have the statutory authority to extend the open enrollment period in 2014,’ she said.
On Wednesday, Republican Ways and Means chairman Dave Camp asked Sebelius if she agreed.
‘I haven’t seen their statements,’ she replied, despite having been on the conference call, ‘but there is no delay beyond March 31.’
As for the extended deadline on the honor system. Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin.com might just have the quote of the day … “Why should the Obama administration care to determine whether a potential enrollee is telling the truth? The Obama administration doesn’t even care if the Obama administration is telling the truth.” AMEN!!!

They Have No Shame … Susan Rice Says She Has No Regrets Over Initial Benghazi Interviews, ‘Patently False’ That I Misled American People (VIDEO)
Doubling Down … Softball interview with NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ … National Security Adviser Susan Rice says she has no regrets on Benghazi interview following the death of four Americans.
Oh what tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive. The Obama administration is simply incapable of telling the truth. National Security Adviser Susan Rice, when asked this Sunday on ‘Meet the Press,’ said that she had no regrets with what she said on five Sunday network talk shows in misleading the America public is saying the Benghazi attack was based on a video tape rather than a terror attack. Rice claims that it is “settled science” that the Obama administration had done nothing wrong. Rice stated some of the information turned out not to be correct, “but the notion that somehow I or anybody else in the administration misled the American people is patently false. And I think that that’s been amply demonstrated.” HA, this from the Obama administration that said, if you liked your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan, PERIOD! I am sensing a pattern.
No regrets, really? The reason why she is not Secretary of State Rice and is only the National Security Adviser is because of those lies. Of course an all too in the tank bias media was no where to be found as David Gregory asked no follow up questions to contradict her “Alinky” comments.
Yeah, not a smidgen of corruption whatsoever.
National Security Adviser Susan Rice said Sunday she has no regrets about her now-infamous round of TV interviews in 2012 about the the attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
Rice, appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” said that nobody in the Obama administration intended to mislead the American people when she appeared on Fox, ABC, CNN, NBC and CBS in 2012 shortly after the attacks.
Asked by host David Gregory if she had any regrets about the interviews, Rice replied: “No.”
“Because what I said to you that morning, and what I did every day since, was to share the best information that we had at the time,” Rice said. “The information I provided, which I explained to you, was what we had at the moment. It could change. I commented that this was based on what we knew on that morning, was provided to me and my colleagues and, indeed, to Congress, by the intelligence community. And that’s been well validated in many different ways since.”
“That information turned out, in some respects, not to be 100 percent correct,” she acknowledged. “But the notion that somehow I or anybody else in the administration misled the American people is patently false. And I think that that’s been amply demonstrated.”
Joe Biden Admits that ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers Might be Lower Than Projected
SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE … Obamacare enrollment numbers are not what Obama minions have claimed. Imagine that, the Obama administration fudging the numbers?
Vice President Joe Biden admitted at a stop in Minneapolis, MN that the Obamacare enrollment numbers might be lower that projected, even as other Obama minions have been praising Obamacare enrollment. Biden stated that we might have only 5 or 6 million enrolled, rather that the 7 million that had been called a success by HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Hey Joe, not even coming close to the signup projects when you and Obama claimed there was 50 million uninsured is a “big f’n deal”. However, the total quantity of who signed up is immaterial. What matters in order to make Obamacare work financially is that a majority of individuals have to to youg, healthy payers, not one’s who are receiving subsidies and unhealthy.
We might miss our numbers by this much …
“Initially, we talked about by the end of this period having seven million people lined up,” he told a group in a coffee shop on Wednesday. “We may not get to seven but we’re gonna get to five or six, and that’s a hell of a start with people.”
That’s quite a difference from the confident predictions last fall, just before the rollout, from Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
“I think success looks like at least 7 million people having signed up by the end of March 2014,” she told NBC last September.
However, it may not even be as high as Biden is saying, even with his lowering of the bar. It would appear that Obama’s folks are playing fast and furious with the numbers and taking credit for Medicaid signups
In its report on signups through the end of January, the administration claimed 9.6 million total had gotten health insurance — 3.3 million in the federal and state exchanges, and another 6.3 million in Medicaid, the health care program for low-income Americans.
But a nonpartisan health care firm says the number of new signups in Medicaid from ObamaCare is much lower than 6.3 million.
“It’s about 1.3 to 1.8 million people who are new to the program The rest are part of the regular churn that are in and out,” Matthew Eyeles, of the firm Avalere Health, said.
And those in the regular churn — those who come and go all the time – wouldn’t count as part of ObamaCare because they were already eligible before the health care law.
