Ebola, what a mess.

No one, and I mean no one should be allowed to enter the United States from any West African nation ravaged with Ebola. And any American citizen who goes there and wants to come home needs to be quarantined for 21 days until we figure out what we are doing.

Hmm, pretty amazing that the WAPO failes to mention that Obama was asleep at the switch. How long have we known about Ebola?

Shaken, he flew back to the United States on Aug. 31 and immediately briefed President Obama by phone. The window to act was closing, he told the president in the 15-minute call.

That conversation, nearly six months after the World Health Organization (WHO) learned of an Ebola outbreak in West Africa, was part of a mounting realization among world leaders that the battle against the virus was being lost. As of early September, with more than 1,800 confirmed Ebola deaths in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, there was still no coordinated global response. Alarmed U.S. officials realized they would need to call in the military.

Obama eventually ordered 3,000 military personnel to West Africa; about 200 had arrived by the beginning of this month. They will be joined by health workers from countries such as Britain, China and Cuba. Canada and Japan are sending protective gear and mobile laboratories. Nonprofit organizations such as the Gates Foundation also are contributing. But it’s not at all clear that this belated muscular response will be enough to quell the epidemic before it takes tens of thousands of lives.

Former IRS Official Lois Lerner Breaks Her Silence … “I Didn’t Do Anything Wrong.”

HEY LOIS, IF YOU DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG, THEN THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO REASON TO PLEA THE FIFTH.

In an interview with The Politico, an unapologetic Lois Lerner broke her silence and claims, “I didn’t do anything wrong.” PLEASE, just like a lib, always the victim. It is just a coincidence that the department that you were in charge of went after Tea Party and Conservative non-profit groups in an effort to marginalize them heading into the 2012 elections. It is just a coincidence that the IRS scandal was more than just two rogue agents. It is just a coincidence that the IRS scandal leads back to Washington, DC federal IRS offices. It is also another coincidence that your emails have gone missing and your Blackerberry as well. And of course it was also just a coincidence that when given an opportunity to provide testimony under oath to Congress that you have plead the fifth not once, but twice. Who are you kidding?  Yup, not a smidgen of corruption. Gee Lois, why would you need to plea the 5th  to protect yourself against self-incrimination, if you didn’t do anything wrong. HMM?

Employers won’t hire her. She’s been berated with epithets like “dirty Jew.” Federal agents have guarded her house because of death threats. And she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself against accusations she orchestrated a coverup in a scandal that has come to represent everything Americans hate about the IRS.

Lois Lerner is toxic — and she knows it. But she refuses to recede into anonymity or beg for forgiveness for her role in the IRS tea party-targeting scandal.

“I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lerner said in her first press interview since the scandal broke 16 months ago. “I’m proud of my career and the job I did for this country.”

The portrait that emerges shows Lerner is, indeed, fierce, unapologetic and perhaps even tone-deaf when she says things that show her Democratic leanings. She had a quick temper and may have intimidated co-workers who could have helped her out of this mess. It’s easy to see how Republicans have seized on the image of a devilish figure cracking down on conservative nonprofits.

So were the emails destroyed, or do they exist and this has been nothing but an exercise in stonewalling.

UPDATE I: It would appear that the Federalist agrees with SM, “Sorry, Politico, But Lois Lerner Is Not A Victim … but the Politico would have you believe Lois Lerner is a “Hero. Servant. Brownie-baking puppy lover. Sister of the Blessed State.” Great minds think alike!

HERO to ZERO … USC Trojan Cornerback Josh Shaw Admits He Lied About Rescuing His Nephew from Pool … Suspended by USC

HERO TO ZERO IN A MATTER OF DAYS … IT WAS ALL A HOAX.

Josh Shaw, the USC cornerback and team captain who was hailed for being a hero for rescuing a nephew in a pool and injuring both of his ankles in the process, now admits that it was all a lie.  In a statement released by his attorney, Donald Etra, Josh Shaw acknowledged lying … “On Saturday, August 23, 2014, I injured myself in a fall.  I made up a story about this fall that was untrue. I was wrong to not tell the truth. I apologize to USC for this action on my part.” Umm, through his attorney? Why on earth would one need an attorney to say that you lied?

The Los Angeles Police Department said Tuesday that Shaw’s name was in a report from an incident that occurred at the Orsini complex on North Figueroa Street Saturday about 10 p.m.

Josh Shaw, a hero for a matter of hours, is now known for a lie.

With the Trojans’ opener against Fresno State just days away, the USC senior football team captain Wednesday told school officials he fabricated a story about rescuing a nephew in a pool and lied about how he suffered ankle injuries, the school announced.

Shaw, a starting cornerback, was suspended from the team indefinitely.

“We are extremely disappointed in Josh,” USC Coach Steve Sarkisian said in a statement. “He let us all down. As I have said, nothing in his background led us to doubt him when he told us of his injuries, nor did anything after our initial vetting of his story.”

Athletic Director Pat Haden said he was disappointed and surprised because he had found Shaw to be “a very credible kid.” Haden was in the hospital because of a heart issue when he first heard of Shaw’s alleged rescue and injuries. He said USC officials vetted Shaw’s story 12 times with a number of different people.

“Right now, what we know is we have a kid that fabricated a story, period,” Haden said.

And USC publicized it.

The school did not include an explanation of what it now believes actually happened. In a statement released through his attorney, Donald Etra, Shaw acknowledged lying but did not provide any details.

Josh Shaw’s Heroic Rescue Story Was a Lie; but Why?

As rumors swirled about what happened to the player, Los Angeles Police Department Cmdr. Andrew Smith said on Tuesday evening that Shaw’s name was mentioned in a burglary report in an incident that occurred Saturday night in the 500 block of Figueroa Street, in downtown Los Angeles.

Shaw was an acquaintance of the victim, not a person of interest or a suspect, Smith said.

IRS Scandal Bombshell! DOJ Attorney Admits Lois Lerner Emails Do Exist! … Claims of Lerner’s Missing Emails “It’s all been a pack of Malarkey”

IRS SCANDAL … LOIS LERNER EMAILS DO EXIST … OH THE TRANSPARENCY!!!

On Monday, Judicial Watch’s president Tom Fitton told FNC’s Shannon Bream that a Justice Department attorney told them the missing Lois Lerner e-mails do exist. According to Tom Fitton, in an interview FNC’s ‘The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson,’ he stated that a DOJ attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney that the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and there is a catastrophe. Imagine that, isn’t that what we thought all along and the IRS was required to do by law? Fitton went on to say they stated it would be too hard to go get Lois Lerner’s e-mails  from that back-up system. HUH? Too hard to retrieve, really? Why would we have a backup system in the first place that is to ensure that a government could continue if it was too difficult to retrieve?

Oh, what a tangled web we weave When first we practice to deceive!

So everything we’ve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing e-mails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, it’s all been a pack of malarkey.

SHANNON BREAM: Alright we are learning that the IRS may actually have those missing Lois Lerner e-mails after all. Agency attorneys apparently telling Judicial Watch, the group trying to get to the bottom of this whole thing, that they back up everything. Just in case. Now that may be a different story from what you’ve been hearing since those records disappeared.

BREAM: Alright Tom Fitton is the president of Judicial Watch. He’s been on the front lines of this entire thing. Tom, tell us what you found out and were you surprised to now hear somebody with the agency saying these e-mails may never have been missing at all?

TOM FITTON, JUDICIAL WATCH: Right. A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and there is a catastrophe. So the government can continue operating. And they say it would be too hard to go get Lois Lerner’s e-, it would be too hard to get Lois Lerner’s e-mails  from that back-up system. So everything we’ve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing e-mails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, it’s all been a pack of malarkey. They could get these records but they don’t want to and they haven’t told anyone about it, frankly, until we were able to get it out of them on Friday. And there’s no such thing as Lois Lerner’s missing e-mails. It’s all been a big lie. They’ve been lying to the courts, to the American people and to congress. It’s really outrageous.

BREAM: I mean that is stunning. If what you’re saying is a Justice Department attorney has told attorneys with your group that these e-mails exist and they’ve always existed, I mean we are talking about subpoenas, we’re talking about sworn congressional testimony, we’re talking about court hearings, we are talking about an order from the judge there in D.C., the federal judge who said “I want everybody to have sworn affidavits and tell me exactly what happened to these.” I read those affidavits when they came in a week or two ago and there was no mention of this. How is that possible?

People need to go to jail with this scandal.

CREDIBILITY? Key Witness in Ferguson, MO Michael Brown Shooting … 22 Year Old Dorian Johnson Has a Warrant Out for His Arrest in Jefferson City, MO

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMM …

22 year old Dorian Johnson, the individual who was walking with Michael Brown when he was shot and killed by police officer Darren Wilson,, appears to have a  warrant out for his arrest in Jefferson City, MO. Dorian Johnson was arrested for theft and making a false report in 2011. Theft,  imagine that … water does seek its own level, doesn’t it? Me thinks some one has a lack of credibility here. Remember, this is the eye witness who said that Michael Brown was shot in the back when the autopsy image reports plainly show that was not the case.

When there’s smoke, there’s fire and when there is one lie to cover up you were doing, there are usually many more to follow.

The warrant is for stealing and dates back to June 2011.

ABC 17 News looked into Johnson’s past and found out he has also been charged with filing a false police report in the same year.

After cross referencing several records, ABC 17 News found the warrant, which is for Dorian Jordan Johnson, is actually the same person as Dorian Jarvis Johnson.

Johnson has told news organizations Brown was, “shot like and animal…”

You might remember, Johnson told reporters Brown was running away with his hands up.
