Judge Steve T. O’Neill Declares Mistrial in Bill Cosby Sex-Assault Trial … Prosecutor Steele Said He Will Retry Cosby
THIS WAS EXPECTED AS THE JURY CONTINUES TO BE DEADLOCKED, DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY …
The judge in the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial has declared a mistrial. The jury could not reach a decision and as they have been for days. In their sixth day of deliberations, jurors sent word to Judge Steve T. O’Neill that they could not reach a unanimous verdict and the are “hopelessly deadlocked.” Afterwards, prosecutor Kevin Steele announced in court that he will retry Cosby. Good luck, because this was not a strong case. There is a reason why this jury was hopelessly deadlocked. However, this is hardly a victory for Bill Cosby. His image is forever tarnished and whether he was found guilty or not in this case, there are too may other women who have come forward for innocence to be declared. This might be one of these moments to fade into anonymity and not gloat.
A Pennsylvania judge declared a mistrial Saturday after a jury was “hopelessly deadlocked” on sexual-assault charges against Bill Cosby, the comic legend whose legacy as a promoter of wholesome values has been tarnished by a years-long sex and drugging scandal.
As the mistrial was declared, Cosby sat at the defense table with his chin held high, a flat, blank look on his face. Across the well of the courtroom, jurors stood one-by-one in the jury box and said, “Yes,” as the judge asked whether each whether they agreed that the jury is “hopelessly deadlocked.”
The jurors answered without hesitation, but several slumped forward in their chairs, elbows on their knees and fingers knit, looks of frustration on their faces.
After the questioning was done, the entertainer sat back in his chair, holding a slender cane that has been with him inside the courtroom each day to his chest. Cosby’s family was not in the courtroom to hear the judge’s decision.
The jury filed out almost within arm’s reach of Andrea Constand, Cosby’s accuser. She stood respectfully, with a strained smile on her face. Afterwards, prosecutor Kevin Steele announced in court that he will retry Cosby.
UPDATE I: Civil Lawsuit awaits.
Although Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial ended in a mistrial on Saturday, his legal problems persist as he faces assault and defamation claims in civil lawsuits, where the bar for evidence is lower than in criminal cases.
In civil lawsuits in the United States, plaintiffs need only show that the weight of evidence is on their side, meaning they have information to tip the scales above 50 percent in their favor, as opposed to criminal cases in which prosecutors must prove claims beyond a reasonable doubt.
UPDATE II: Bill Cosby’s Spox: Tell Gloria Allred to ‘Go Back to Law School’
He accused Allred, a high-profile women’s rights attorney from Los Angeles, of conspiring against Cosby.
“For all those attorneys who conspired – like Gloria Allred – tell them to go back to law school and take another class,” he said.
Allred, who was not the principal attorney for plaintiff Andrea Constand, held a press conference outside the courthouse with other Cosby accusers.

Fox News Anchor Kelly Wright Joins Lawsuit Alleging Racial Discrimination & Harassment at Fox
THE SHARKS ARE IN THE WATER … This time its racial discrimination.
Yet another lawsuit from previous employees at Fox News. Kelly Wright, a black reporter and anchor who has been with Fox News since 2003, is one of 13 plaintiffs, all people of color who are either current or former Fox News employees, to sue the network in the last month charging racial discrimination. Of course this comes on the foot heals of the ousting of Bill O Reilly and the accusations made against Fox News conservative host Sean Hannity. Most likely noticeably absent from the plaintiffs would be Charles Payne, Juan Williams, Larry Elder, or Arthel Neville .
Fox News’ legal troubles grew even larger Tuesday, with new plaintiffs, including an anchor, joining a suit alleging racial discrimination and harassment at the network.
The suit is now headlined by Kelly Wright, a black reporter and anchor who has been with Fox News since 2003. Wright claims that he “has been effectively sidelined and asked to perform the role of a ‘Jim Crow’ — the racist caricature of a Black entertainer.”
Wright’s allegations involve, among others, recently fired Fox News host Bill O’Reilly and current network co-president Bill Shine.
The suit claims that Wright was shunned from O’Reilly’s now-canceled program, “The O’Reilly Factor,” and that Shine “has demonstrated an obsession with race when it comes to discussions with Mr. Wright, including regularly asking him, ‘how do Black people react to you’ and ‘how do you think White viewers look at you?’”
In one alleged example, Wright claims that he was rebuffed in his efforts to show a series of positive stories about the African-American community on the “Factor” because, according to the complaint, “it showed Blacks in ‘too positive’ a light.”
It would appear that the liberal media are adding fuel to the fire as Breitbart opines, this Wednesday’s episode of NBC’s long-running crime drama Law and Order: SVU will focus on a powerful news executive who has been accused of sexually assaulting one of his network’s on-air personalities.
The episode appears to be inspired by former Fox News network chief Roger Ailes, who resigned following a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson.
While the episode appears to be styled to mimic the real-life drama surrounding Ailes, none of Ailes’ accusers, including former Fox News star anchor Megyn Kelly, have ever accused the former Fox News chief of rape.
UPDATE I: Kelly Wright Says, “Well, I’m not here to be a token, either. I’m here to be a valued employee.”
Just curious, what exactly was it that Wright was discriminated against? At any given time you could have gone to any one of the other networks. He stated that he admires and loves the very people he is going against. He should be respected for having principles, but he also claims to love the very people he is against. What makes Kelly Wright or any one of the others suing Fox News is not the same at CNN, MSNBC et all.

SEAN HANNITY Defends Himself Against Allegations and Issues Warning to Liberals Fascists Who Slander Him – We’re Laying out Legal Action (VIDEO)
HANNITY FIRES WARNING SHOT TO THE LEFTIST FASCISTS …
Sean Hannity, conservative FOX News and radio host has had enough and is defending himself against false allegations and those liberal fascists who would attempt to stop conservative speech and views. GET ‘EM SEAN!!! It is time to defend free speech. Sexual harassment is terrible, but making false allegations of sexual harassment in an effort to destroy people is just as bad.
Hmm, it seems she got the message loud and clear because she just caved. Totally changed her story. Recanted.
You know it is a bunch of bunk when Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks defends Sean Hannity Accused Of Sexual Harassment by Debbie Schlussel. The Yong Turks are far from conservative and friends of Hannity.

Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes, Suspected Killer in Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s Murder Arrested
SUSPECTED MURDERER OF BORDER PATROL AGENT BRIAN TERRY ARRESTED …
As reported at FOX News, Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes, the drug cartel member suspected of shooting and murdering U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in 2010 has been arrested. The low-life was apprehended at a ranch on the border of the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua by a joint U.S.-Mexico law enforcement task force that included the Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals and the Border Patrol Tactical Unit. The murder of Brian Terry on December 14, 2010 in a gunfight between Border Patrol agents and members of a five-man cartel “rip crew,” is what exposed “Operation Fast and Furious,” a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) operation under the Barack Obama administration in which the federal government allowed criminals to buy guns in Phoenix-area shops.
The cartel member suspected of shooting and killing Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in 2010 with a gun supplied by the U.S. government was arrested in Mexico Wednesday, senior law enforcement, Border Patrol, and congressional sources told Fox News.
The suspect, Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes, was apprehended by a joint U.S.-Mexico law enforcement task force that included the Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals and the Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC).
A $250,000 reward had been sought for information leading to the arrest of Osorio-Arellanes, who was captured at a ranch on the border of the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Chihuahua. U.S. authorities have said they will seek his extradition.
Terry was killed on Dec. 14, 2010 in a gunfight between Border Patrol agents and members of a five-man cartel “rip crew,” which regularly patrolled the desert along the U.S.-Mexico border looking for drug dealers to rob.
But of course as the liberal MSM and the Obama mouthpieces will tell you, there were no scandals during the Barack Hussein Obama presidency. As Legal Insurrection states, “FINALLY. After seven long years, authorities have arrested the man suspected of pulling the trigger and murdering Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010″.
The agent’s death exposed Operation Fast and Furious, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) operation in which the federal government allowed criminals to buy guns in Phoenix-area shops with the intention of tracking them once they made their way into Mexico. But the agency lost track of more than 1,400 of the 2,000 guns they allowed smugglers to buy. Two of those guns were found at the scene of Terry’s killing.
The operation set off a political firestorm, and then-Attorney General Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress after he refused to divulge documents for a congressional investigation.

Melania Trump Wins Defamation Case Against Daily Mail over model claims
A WARNING TO THE MSM, BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR FAKE NEWS YOU SPEW …
As reported at Sky News, First lady Melania Trump has accepted damages and an apology over allegations stemming from a Daily Mail article previously published in the newspaper that “included false and defamatory claims” about her work as a model. The amount of damages was not disclosed in court, although it is estimated that the total payment of damages and costs is believed to come to less than $3m (£2.4m).
Melania Trump has accepted damages and an apology over allegations about her work as a professional model.
The action was against Associated Newspapers, publishers of the Daily Mail, after it ran an article headlined “Racy photos and troubling questions about his wife’s past that could derail Trump”.
The amount of damages was not disclosed in court, although Sky News understands the total payment of damages and costs is believed to come to less than $3m (£2.4m).
The article published in the newspaper and on Mail Online last August “included false and defamatory claims” about the First Lady “which questioned the nature of her work as a professional model, and republished allegations that she provided services beyond simply modelling”, the court heard.
The piece referred to rumors that a modelling agency Mrs Trump worked for in Milan was “something of a gentleman’s club” and another in New York “operated as an escort agency for wealthy clients”.
Her lawyer John Kelly said the story included statements that Mrs Trump denied the allegations and that Paulo Zampolli, who ran the modelling agency, also denied the claims.
The article, he said, also said there was no evidence to support the allegations.
