At least nine people died as a fire raged through a warehouse in Oakland, California’s Fruitvale neighborhood where a party was underway late Friday night. It is also being reported that there are another 25 people who are missing and unaccounted for. The fire started about 11:30 p.m. Friday at 1305 31st Ave. It tore through the building during an event featuring musician Golden Donna’s 100% Silk West Coast tour.

In what may be the deadliest structure fire in Oakland’s history, at least nine people died in a blaze that broke out late Friday at an electronic music party at a Fruitvale district live-work space, officials said.

The fire tore through the two-story building in the 1300 block of 31st Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Friday during an event featuring musician Golden Donna’s 100% Silk West Coast tour.

Most of the nine dead were found on the second floor, and another 25 people are unaccounted for, Fire Chief Teresa Deloach-Reed said.

Firefighters said it appeared that no smoke detectors were activated during the fire and there was no sprinkler system in the  structure, the chief said.

“We still have to do a more thorough search of the building and we don’t know the potential number of other victims,” Deloach-Reed said. No firefighters were reported injured while battling the blaze.

The blaze is already being called one of the deadliest single-structure fires in Oakland’s history, if not the deadliest.

UPDATE II: Four police officers shot in US cities.

How did we get to a point in the United States where such a thing could happen. There was a time in this country where randomly shooting a police officer would be considered unheard of, and it was not all that long ago.

One policeman was shot dead and three others shot and wounded in four US cities on Sunday, coinciding with an epidemic of racially-tinged gun violence involving law enforcement.

Police were shot in San Antonio, Texas, Sanibel, Florida, and in the Missouri cities of St. Louis and Gladstone, local police departments said.

There was no known connection between the shootings.

In San Antonio, authorities were hunting for a suspect who fatally shot 20-year service veteran Detective Benjamin Marconi twice in the head after being pulled over in traffic in front of police department headquarters.

A police officer in Sanibel, on the picturesque island of the same name off the Florida coast, was shot and wounded during a “routine” traffic stop, officials said.

The suspect, who has been arrested, drove by and shot the officer after he had stopped another driver, Sanibel Police Chief Bill Tomlinson was quoted as saying.

In St. Louis, a suspect shot a police sergeant through his rolled up window as he sat in a marked police car in slow traffic.

In western Missouri, another police officer was shot in Gladstone but was expected to live, the Kansas City Fraternal Order of Police said on Twitter. The condition of the suspect was unknown.

SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE ON THE LEFT … GET A GRIP FOLKS!!!

Fort Bend County’s sheriff officer has summed up a video of a mother harshly kicking her son out of the house because he voted for Trump at school as “absolutely disgusting.” The mother actually posted this on line on Facebook abusing and kicking her 8 year old child out of the house. WHAT?!? Seriously folks, get a grip. Are you really this frigging crazy, because acting like this is no joking matter. Who does this to a child? This is beyond words.

“Since you voted for Donald Trump, you can get you s*** and get out,” says the mother at the beginning of the video. When the boy starts to cry, she just says “uh-uh, the suitcase is packed by the door,” and hands him a sign that said “my mom kicked me out because I voted for Donald Trump.”

Houston area mother in deep trouble after this act of insanity and abuse:

Sheriff Troy Nehls said he was shocked by the video and has ensured that the child is now safe. Detectives has visited the child Friday night to make sure he was safe, Nehls said.

In the video, you could hear the mother shouting at the boy.

“Ah, ah. And your suitcase is packed by the door. Been packed since this morning.”

It’s a video that some people may find tough to watch.

The mother posted the video to her Facebook page, which got shared nearly 200,000 times.

It eventually made its way to Child Protective Services, Fort Bend Independent School District and the Sheriff’s Office.

The mother in the video has claimed to detectives that it was a joke since posting the video on Facebook, deputies said. The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said it is taking the matter seriously.

Mother Punishes Son For Supporting Donald Trump In Mock Election At School – truly disturbing

UPDATE I: Now Mother looking to save her bacon says it was all a joke.

Really, a a joke? You think that 8 year old boy thought this was a joke by the tears he was crying and the fear in his voicce? If they let this mother get away with this BS, they will have done us all a disservice.

Detectives say the woman told them she was just trying to make a joke. Detectives say as disturbing as the video is, there is no evidence of any criminal wrongdoing.

One detective said he met with the family and the boy appears to be in good shape. The detective also said the mother has apologized for the video.

FBI Director Clears Hillary Clinton Again in For her Obvious Crimes & Mishandling Top Secret Docs on Private Email Server

I GUESS DEMOCRATS WILL GO BACK TO CALLING FBI DIRECTOR A PATRIOT AND PRINCIPLED, MAN OF REASONTHE FIX HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN.

FBI Director James Comey has once again let Hillary Clinton off the hook for her criminal handling of top secret information in the use of her private email and server. Unbelievably, Comey has let Hillary off the hook again.  So the nearly all docs on Weiner’s laptop were duplicates of emails FBI had already seen or were personal. Um, that still does not explain why there were emails on a computer used by Anthony Weiner, aka Carlos Danger. Sadly, the FBI director never had any intention of ever really instigating or indicting Hillary.

What difference does it make if I operated in a criminal manner, did you really think a Democrat administration was going to indict me?

Hillary Clinton3

FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers Sunday the agency hasn’t changed its opinion that Hillary Clinton should not face criminal charges after a review of new emails.
“Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July,” Comey wrote in the new letter to congressional committee chairmen.

Comey dropped a bombshell on the presidential race last month when he sent a letter to Congress saying the FBI had discovered emails in a separate investigation that could be connected to the now-closed probe of whether Clinton mishandled classified information. The move infuriated Democrats and emboldened Republican nominee Donald Trump.

It’s impossible to know before results are tallied what impact Comey’s actions — first raising a vaguely worded red flag 11 days out, and then lowering it two days from the election — will have on the contest. But the news could help Clinton put to rest a controversy that has dogged her in the 2016 race’s closing days, helping Trump narrow a polling gap nationally and in key battleground states.

Trump assailed the FBI’s handling of the matter, though he did not directly address Comey’s announcement at a rally in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
“You can’t review 650,000 new emails in eight days. You can’t do it, folks,” Trump said, adding, “Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it, the FBI knows it, the people know it, and now it’s up to the American people to deliver justice at the ballot box on November 8.”

What is obvious from Comey’s decision is that we have a corrupt, corrupt government. As Right Wing News opines, “Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had some tough words for the FBI Director James Comey, claiming he has “caved” to political pressure due to another dismissal of Hillary Clinton, two days away from the election.

Comey proclaimed Sunday afternoon that the bureau would not be pursuing the conclusion in regards to their criminal probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state. In July, Comey declared that he would not suggest charges against Clinton — despite acknowledging that the private server held classified information.
