Gun Sales Spike in Ferguson, MO Ahead of the Grand Jury Decision on the Shooting Death of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson

There are tense times ahead of the grand juries decision in Ferguson, Missouri with regards to the shooting death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, as gun sales spike. Will Officer Wilson be cleared or indicted? And if indicted, for what? The longer this goes on, the more tense things get. Those who are pro-Michael Brown claim they want justice; however, it sound more like revenge. The result is many uneasy citizens in Ferguson and the surrounding areas buying up guns for their protection.

Lately, Dan McMullen has been bringing an extra gun to his office in Ferguson, Missouri.

McMullen runs Solo Insurance on West Florissant close to where looting and vandalism briefly broke out in early August after a police officer shot to death teenager Michael Brown.

“I bring an extra gun now only because it has a bigger magazine,” McMullen says. He began carrying it after tensions increased in the area following the shooting. He says he would never use it to protect his business, but he would use it to save his life.

More … Steven King, the owner of Metro Shooting Supplies in Bridgeton, Missouri, says sales have recently “skyrocketed” again because of the fear of the unknown ahead of the grand jury decision. People saw what the protesters were capable of and now want to protect themselves from the protesters, looters and vandals.

“You’re exactly right. In August gun sales went up exponentially. Not only at our store but around the entire St. Louis metropolitan area. It’s kind of tapered off over the last couple of months. And, now in the last week or so, sales have started to skyrocket once again… We have a wide variety of people who are buying right now. We have first time buyers. We have elderly people, white, black, Asian. We’ve got women. We’ve got men. We’ve got head of households. But, primarily we got people, 100% of the people this weekend who have bought a firearm have bought it because of some sort of fear of the unknown.”

Twenty-two-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was last seen around 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of West Coulter Street, reports CBS Philly. A witness said the woman was yelling for help as a man forced her into a dark-colored sedan.

Surveillance video released Monday by Philadelphia police shows a man driving down a street, parking his car and walking a short distance out of the camera’s view, back towards the direction from which he came. He’s then seen apparently chasing a woman across the street before grabbing her and forcing her down the block and into the car.

UPDATE I: Surveillance Video Shows Struggle as Woman Abducted Off Germantown Street.

Freeland-Gaither tries to break free as the man works to open the rear driver’s side door on a 2000 model dark gray metallic Ford Taurus with missing inspection stickers. They both tumble onto the sidewalk, but the woman is unable to get away.

She’s thrown into the back of the car and the vehicle rocks back-and-forth for about 30 seconds before it pulls away. During that time, police said the woman broke out the both rear windows of the car trying to escape.

Another car can be seen driving up the street as the struggle takes place, but eventually backs out of the street.

A witness told NBC10 he walked past the woman shortly before hearing her scream. He then ran back to find her being forced into the sedan.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives went to the location, which was a shopping center parking lot, and said agents immediately recognized the car as the one for which they’d been looking.

“Tonight, the FBI and Philadelphia Police Department have great news that Carlesha Freeland has been rescued, her abductor has been arrested in Maryland,” Special Agent Hanko said.

New Black Panther Party Leader Frank Sha Francois Calls Ax Wielding Police Attacker Zale Thomspon “a Crusader Seeking Justice”

SICK … Queens, NY New Black Panther Party leader calls ax wielding police attacker a “Crusader Seeking Justice.”

Frank Sha Francois, the  Queens chapter leader of the New Black Panther Party says that Zale Thomspon, the jihadist sympathizer who hated cops and white people, “a crusader seeking justice.”  Frank Sha Francois stated that “it probably won’t be the last [attack on police] because you have a lot of frustrated people out here.” Although, Francois insisted he didn’t agree with Thompson’s methods. Sure he didn’t, that’s why he makes such a claim that there will be more attacks on police? The NBPP leader said that Zale Thompson was not a member of the Queens chapter, but he did show up to meetings and focused on the topic of police brutality.

Crusader for justice, eh … sounds for like a radical jihadist, reverse racism and a hate crime. Thankfully, Zale Thompson was shot dead by police before he could cause more harm.

The Muslim extremist who attacked rookie cops with a hatchet last week was “a crusader seeking justice’’ — and more assaults will likely follow, the head of his local New Black Panther Party warned.

“It probably won’t be the last [attack on police] because you have a lot of frustrated people out here,” Queens chapter leader Frank Sha Francois told The Post.

Francois said ax-wielding Zale Thompson wasn’t officially a member of his group, but he came to meetings and they talked about “police brutality” cases such as Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

“I don’t condone violence, but something needs to be done,” Francois said. “We need to have some type of deterrent and real oversight to deter the police from violating the laws and to know they are not above the laws.”

While he hailed the ax man as a “crusader,” Francois insisted he didn’t agree with Thompson’s methods.

The law enforcement heroes who were killed were Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver, 47,  a 15 year veteran of the police force and a husband and father of two daughters. Also murdered was Placer County Deputy Michael David Davis Jr., 42, an 18 year veteran with a wife and four children.God bless their souls. Our prayers and condolences go out to the family, friends of Danny Oliver and Michael David Davis Jr. and their fellow police officers.

The suspect alleged to have shot three northern California sheriff’s deputies Friday, killing two, was deported twice and has a criminal record, federal officials said late Saturday.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman said that the fingerprints of the suspected shooter match those of a man named Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte. Monroy-Bracamonte was initially deported to Mexico in 1997 after being convicted of drug possession in Arizona. Four years later, he was arrested and deported again for an unspecified offense.

“The fingerprints were the basis for our request for an immigration detainer,” ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice told The Associated Press. The detainer requests that local authorities transfer him to federal custody after his case is adjudicated so ICE can purse his deportation, Kice said.

The suspect initially identified himself as Marcelo Marquez, 34, of Salt Lake City. He is charged with two counts each of murder, attempted murder and carjacking. The suspect’s wife, Janelle Marquez-Monroy, was also arrested Friday and charged with carjacking and attempted murder.
