Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Boston Marathon Suspect #2 Reported Down at 67 Franklin Street in Watertown, MA … Now Reported Still Alive, Hiding in a Boat in Back Yard (Update: Suspect in Custody)
BREAKING NEWS: Twenty minutes after tonight’s Boston bombing press conference, a flurry of shots fired were fired in Watertown, Massachusetts. There are conflicting resorts from sources. Some are saying that the suspect is down. Other are saying that the suspect is cornered and hiding in a boat in the back yard of 67 Franklin Street in Watertown. It is being confirmed that the suspect is alive, but wounded in the boat in the back yard of this property. It was reported that 20 to 30 shots were fired by police; however, now there is quiet. How ironic, at tonight’s news conference, the authorities told the public that they were sorry they could not find and arrest the suspect #2 following last nights shoot out. Then, just 20 minutes later, all that changed. Kudos to a vigilant public. According to reports, the shed and the boat at this location had been searched earlier, but a woman noticed a door to it had been opened, saw blood and called police. She may have just ended the search for suspect #2 by her actions.
Do you know what that sound is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev? Its the sound of inevitability.
WITNESS VIDEO – Boston Suspect #2 Shot in Boat in Watertown Backyard
A barrage of gunshots erupted in Watertown, Mass., shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, with preliminary reports indicating that police had finally cornered Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
The flurry of activity came less than an hour after Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick ended a Boston-area lockdown early Friday evening after a massive, day-long search of suburban Watertown, which seemingly failed to flush out the teenager.
Shortly after the gunshots, media reports indicated a body had been found in a boat or canoe in a residential backyard. but that had yet to be confirmed by police.
It’s only a matter of time for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev … we will refer to suspect #2 as NEXT
UPDATE I: Suspect #2 is in a standoff with police following the gunfire at 67 Franklin Ave.
UPDATE II: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, suspect # 2 is surrounded by police. SWAT is about to send a robot in to check whether the suspect is still alive and whether there are any explosive devices.
The second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing is believed to be “surrounded” after gunfire broke out from a boat or shed behind a house in the Watertown section of Boston.
Sources told Fox News a suspect was “down,” but later said he was alive and surrounded. A neighbor described the sound of as many as 30 shots as akin to “a roll of firecrackers shooting off,” and said blood was found on the door of a shed, or on a trailered boat near it behind a home on Franklin Street.
“All hell broke loose,” the neighbor told a MyFox Boston reporter.
UPDATE III: IT IS OVER … SUSPECT #2 IS IN CUSTODY!!!

Boston Marathon Bombing Person of Interest’s Apartment Searched on Ocean Avenue in Revere, MA
As reported at CBS News, Massachusetts State Police confirm that a search warrant related to the probe in the Boston Marathon bombing was served Monday night in Revere, Massachusetts. Law enforcement officers investigating the Boston marathon bombings searched the suburban Revere apartment of the Saudi national who is being questioned in connection with the double bombing attack yesterday on Patriot’s Day at the end of the Boston Marathon that has killed three people and injured over 150, many severely. Obviously, there must have been some connection as to why investigators were allowed to gain a search warrant. However, CNN is reporting that according to a federal law official, the search took place with consent, so no search warrant was needed. The fog of news. Authorities are not saying if they gathered anything of any importance in their search; however, they better not have if they did.

Some investigators were seen leaving the apartment building early Tuesday carrying brown paper bags, plastic trash bags and a duffel bag.
WBZ says the search lasted nine hours. The Revere Fire Department wrote on its Facebook page it pertained to “a person of interest.”
Two men were questioned by federal agents in the lobby overnight and handed over their passports before they were allowed to go upstairs, WBZ reports.
Miller says the man was being treated for burns on his hands, and authorities suggest he may be in the U.S. on a student visa.
UPDATE I: The search warrant was executed at 5th floor of the Ocean Shores Tower apartment complex located at 364 Ocean Ave in Revere, MA.
The Gateway Pundit has the list of those who reside at the apartment complex that was searched by police.
UPDATE II: As reported at the Daily News, a law student who lives at the Ocean Shores Tower complex, home to many college students, said authorities raided a fifth floor apartment beginning around 7:30 p.m.

F.B.I. Investigating Former Rutgers Assistant Whistle Blower Eric Murdock Who Brought Down Coach Mike Rice & AD Pernetti … Accused of Extortion
Is there anyone wearing a white hat in this scandal? Where have all the cowboys gone?
The Rutgers University basketball scandal will just not go away. Gone is head coach Mike Rice for his abusive behavior after the VIDEO was released and went viral displaying his despicable acts. Gone is the Athletic Director Tim Pernetti, who resigned as the heat became too much for him to stay after his poor decision to only suspend the coach as his initial punishment, rather than fire him. Some are now questioning whether the Rutgers University president should resign. However, the New York Times is reporting that the FBI is investigating the whistle blower Eric Murdock and whether he attempted to extort the university for $950,000.
The F.B.I. is investigating whether the assistant at Rutgers who first voiced concerns about the abusive behavior of his boss, Mike Rice, tried to extort the university.
As part of its investigation, an F.B.I. agent recently visited the office of Tim Pernetti, the athletic director, according to two people familiar with the investigation, one of whom is a university official who insisted on anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly. Pernetti resigned as the Rutgers athletic director on Friday.
In December, a lawyer representing the former assistant, Eric Murdock, a retired N.B.A. player, sent a letter to the university demanding $950,000, according to a copy of the letter. The letter — which was first reported by ESPN on Friday — was sent two weeks after Rice was suspended for three games for the abusive behavior that eventually led to his firing Wednesday.
Are you kidding me? Could this scandal get any worse?

FBI Knew of Petraeus Affair in the Summer But Supposedly Never Told Obama WH Until Last Week
The picture is becoming very clear why Obama was all in with the blame VIDEO approach in Benghazi, it was one huge mess that would have overwhelmed the news cycle during his reelection campaign. But they would all have you believe it was a coincidence.
The NY Times is reporting that the FBI discovered and knew of CIA Director General David Petraeus extramarital affair with Paula Broadwell during the summer when they investigated threatening emails received by Jill Kelley; however, they never told anyone outside of the FBI or Justice Department. Also reported at the WSJ that high level officials at Justice knew. So Eric Holder never told Obama, eh? Folks if you believe that one I have a bridge to sell you. The FBI was looking at the CIA Director’s emails and no one knew this was going on?
Really. That is the story that the Obama administration will go with. It was just a coincidence that the FBI told the WH after the election and that Petraeus resigned after the election so not to harm Obama’s reelection chances. Of course it is also a coincidence that there has been no comments from Obama as to the Benghazi terror attacks and how a video tape was blamed when they knew it was terrorism. It was also a coincidence that an intel and terror guy like Petreaus also reiterated the false tape story under oath when he knew better. Yea, no conspiracy and cover up here. Was he being a team player or blackmailed?
High-level officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department were notified in the late summer that F.B.I. agents had uncovered what appeared to be an extramarital affair involving the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David H. Petraeus, government officials said Sunday.
But law enforcement officials did not notify anyone outside the F.B.I. or the Justice Department until last week because the investigation was incomplete and initial concerns about possible security breaches, which would demand more immediate action, did not appear to be justified, the officials said.
The new accounts of the events that led to Mr. Petraeus’s sudden resignation on Friday shed light on the competing pressures facing F.B.I. agents who recognized the high stakes of any investigation involving the C.I.A. director but who were wary of exposing a private affair with no criminal or security implications. For the first time Sunday, the woman whose report of harassing e-mails led to the exposure of the affair was identified as Jill Kelley, 37, of Tampa, Fla.
More from the NRO:
The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal have new stories out tonight about the scandal which led to David Petraeus’s resignation on Friday, both hitting on one interesting point: Petraeus’s affair was known at the top levels of the Justice Department months ago. The Times explains that “high-level officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department were notified in the late summer.” The Journal story goes further, saying that Eric Holder himself “knew about the email link to Mr. Petraeus as far back as late summer,” timing the NYT deliberately leaves unclear.

FBI Found Out About Petraeus Affair While Investigating a Complaint Against Mistress Sending Threatening Emails to Another Woman to Stay Away from Petraeus
Petyon Place or is it Petraeus Place or is it Petraeus-gate?
File the following under, you have got to be kidding me. According to accounts, the FBI learned about CIA Director Petraeus’ extramarital affair while they were investigating a complaint from a woman close to Petraeus who had received harassing emails from the general’s alleged mistress.
The FBI traced those emails back to Paula Broadwell, a former military officer and Petraeus’s biographer, according to news reports. When law enforcement officials delved into her email account, it was apparent Broadwell and Petraeus were engaged in an affair.
The identity of the woman who filed the original complaint has not been disclosed.
This morning on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Senator Feinstein (CA-D) stated that Petraeus’ mistress, Paula Broadwell, was threatening another woman to stay away from her boy Petraeus. Senator Dianne Feinstein also stated that she should have been briefed by the FBI sue to the nature of national security issues and potential security breaches. In the end Feinstein added, “I can’t believe it. But, that’s what it is.”
VIDEO Hat Tip: The Gateway Pundit
From The Hill, Senator Feinstein: No link between Petraeus resigning and Benghazi investigation. Says who? We were also told by the Obama administration that there was no terror connection between the Benghazi attacks and terrorism. They told us that the attacks were a result of a reaction to a video tape. I am far from a tin foil hat conspiracy individual, but the timing of this resignation is far too convenient for Obama and the Congressional Benghazi hearings next week. Was there an affair, yes. Is he resigning because of the Benghazi debacle, probably not. However, why did Petraeus not resign sooner? Once again we are presented with the question that Barack Obama will never answer, what did he know and when did he know it regarding the Petraeus affair? Who really does not believe that Obama knew and was only going to disclose this until after the election? Who does not think that Petraeus was not asked ny the WH to delay his resignation until after the election and some quid pro quo would be provided to Petraeus in return?
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said she does not think there’s any connection between the resignation of CIA Director David Petraeus and the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that resulted in four dead.
“On the events in Benghazi and his resignation, absolutely not,” Feinstein said on Fox News Sunday when asked about a possible link. “And I think if you really think this thing out everybody will come to that same conclusion.”
UPDATE I: Woman who received threatening emails from Petraeus’ mistress identified as Jill Kelley, a local concerned citizen who volunteers to help the military.
