Simon Birch, the manager of the wrecker/towing yard, Johnson’s Wrecker Service, where Casey Anthony’s car, a white Pontiac Sunfire, was impounded for more than two weeks in the summer of 2008 testified on Friday that he smelled an odor coming from the car that was consistent with decomposition. Birch stated that in his 30 years in the business, he  had had come across deceased bodies at least eight times.

The manager of a towing yard where Casey Anthony’s car was kept for more than two weeks during the summer of 2008 testified at her murder trial Friday that he smelled an odor coming from her car consistent with decomposing bodies he’d smelled in the past.

Birch said he’d spent 30 years in the towing business as well as two years in waste management, and had come across deceased bodies at least eight times. He said he first noticed the smell coming from Anthony’s’ car on the fourth day her 1998 Pontiac was parked on his yard. The car had been towed after spending four days in an Amscot parking lot. It stayed there from June 30 to June 15, when Anthony’s parents retrieved it.

Casey Anthony Murder Trial Day 3: Ex-boyfriend Anthony Lazzaro Says He Spent Day in Bed with Casey Anthony after Caylee Disappeared

BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK  FOR CASEY ANTHONY, DAY THREE …

No wonder the Casey Anthony defense team was in such an foul mood yesterday, after Casey’s ex-boyfriend Anthony Lazzaro testified during the Casey Anthony murder trial that the tot mom and he spent the entire day in bed days after little Caylee Anthony went missing is hardly what they wanted to hear.

As Nancy Grace would say, BOMBSHELL TONIGHT! During defense attorney Jose Baez’s opening statements, he stated that Caylee Anthony accidentally drown in a pool which would stipulate that at the time of Lazzaro’s testimony above that the two spent the day in bed, Caylee was missing … however, the dense stated in their opening that she was already dead.

This is hardly the actions of a distraught mother who just lost their child. What is the jury going to think when they hear that these were the actions of a presumed missing little girl. However, when they factor in the defense’s opening statement, Caylee was already dead.

Making matters even worse were the parade of boyfriends and male friends questioned by the prosecution and defense where we learned that Casey and Caylee would sleep in the same bed of a male that was only recently known. Casey Anthony earned no “Mother of the Year” points yesterday with the jury.

To make matters even worse, if possible, we would later learn that Casey would sleep at men’s houses and Caylee would be in the same bed. Hmm, think jurors are not questioning the Casey is a good mother comments?YIKES.

It just got worse for disgraced former US Senator John Edwards (D-NC) and Presidential candidate finds himself in a world of hurt today. Edwards thought that his “baby daddy” affair was a headache, now he is facing potential indictments …

ABC News is reported that the United States Department of Justice green-lighted the prosecution of John Edwards for alleged violations of campaign laws. All this occurred as John Edwards was trying  to cover up an extra-marital affair with Rielle Hunter.  Oh what a tangled web Edwards’ weaves, when he practices to deceive.

The United States Department of Justice has green-lighted the prosecution of former presidential candidate John Edwards for alleged violations of campaign laws while he tried to cover up an extra-marital affair, ABC News has learned.

A source close to the case said Edwards is aware that the government intends to seek an indictment and that the former senator from North Carolina is now considering his limited options. He could accept a plea bargain with prosecutors or face a potentially costly trial.

As stated by Hot Air, it looks like Edwards is about to face Two America’s … “the one inside a courtroom, and the one outside of it”. The Gateway Pundit reminds us that the National Enquirer sometimes nails the story 100%.

Casey Anthony Defense Attorney Jose Baez Accused George & Lee Anthony of Sexual Abuse of Casey … Caylee Accidental Drowning

Sexual molestation and it was all just an accident …

Day one of the Casey Anthony murder trial started yesterday and it was not without some “expected” bombshells.However, that was not before Prosecutor Linda Drane-Burdick began opening statements and did a masterful job of providing the jury with a phenomenal time line of events and actions of Casey Anthony and the 31 days that Caylee was missing where the tot mom appeared to care less that her child was no where to be found. Linda Drane-Burdick went through the continual lies of the defendant where Casey’s entire life was nothing more than a fictitious illusion.

Drane-Burdick asked jurors, between descriptions of how Casey spent her days shopping, visiting friends and hanging out with her boyfriend with no signs of her daughter, “Where is Caylee Marie Anthony?”

The prosecutor described Casey’s appearance as a hardworking single mother as an illusion.

She also described Internet searches conducted on a computer at Casey Anthony’s home that showed queries for chloroform, neck-breaking and alcohol.

“Casey Anthony … appeared to be … a loving mother, trying to provide support for her daughter,” Drane-Burdick said. “But as the evidence in this case will show, that was an illusion.”

For months it has been rumored that the defense team for Casey Anthony was going to throw George Anthony under the bus and make rather unpleasant accusations regarding Casey’s dad. Attorney Jose Baez did not disappoint, or did he? It is actually hard to believe after nearly three years of preparation this is all that Jose Baez had to hang his hat on and more importantly his client. However, when one has nothing, what can one expect?

During his opening statements, Jose Baez laid out a story that 2 year old Caylee Anthony was not murdered, but instead was the victim of an accidental drowning accident.  Jose Baez’s opting statement came in like a Lion and out like a Lamb. Or was it just in like a “lying”? Baez actually talked himself in and out of the sale. At one point he provided a plausible scenario and then it all went into fantasy land. Baez lead the jury right up to the supposed accidental drowning, implicated George Anthony and then never said what happened next. Baez just left the jury hanging with no closing or conclusion as to how Caylee would be found later in a wooded area. This was a much different chronological, story as provided by the Prosecution. It was just a case of the defense throwing as much mud or spaghetti on the wall and seeing what stuck. In the end, probably not much.
