Now HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Blaming Republicans for Obamacare Website Failures

It appears that Sebelius has learned from the master Barack Obama in blaming everyone else for everything …

UNREAL, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is blaming Republicans for the lack of testing and the Obamacare website Healthcare.gov rollout failures. These people will take blame for nothing, including their own incompetence. It is just remarkable that these individuals in the federal government will not take responsibility for what they were the project managers and CEO over. When the contractors were questioned by the House this last week in committee hearings, many of them pointed blame back at the government.  Obama, Sebelius and the cronies that they gave the “no bid” contract to had three years to develop and implement the website. If Sebelius wants to blame anyone for the fact that she had a hard deadline of October 1 to go live, she has no one to blame but President Barack Obama. He delayed certain parts of Obama like the employee mandate, he well could have delayed the implementation date as well.

Everyone say along with us, GOP is to blame, GOP is to blame, GOP is to blame

From Fox Nation:

In an ideal world there would have been a lot more testing. We did not have the luxury of that with a law that said it’s go time on October 1st and frankly a political atmosphere where the majority party at least in the House was determined to stop this any way they possibly could including shutting down the United States government. So it was not an ideal atmosphere.

Obamacare Forcing Insurers to Drop Insured’s with Low Coverage … I Thought Obama Promised You Could Keep Your Healthcare? #YouLie

Hate to say we told you so, but we told you so. What happened to Barack Obama’s promise … if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan, no one will be able to take it away from you. It hasn’t happened yet, and it won’t happen in the future. Guess what America, OBAMA LIED!!!

Forget the glitches and disastrous failure of an Obamacare website rollout as everyone in the White House, HHS and contractors  point fingers at each other and play the blame game, have you noticed that more individuals have lost their insurance than enrolled in Obamacare? As Powerline calls it, “Adventures in Obamacare”. Obama and his minions knew that the promise that individuals could keep their health insurance was a lie, or was he just that ignorant? Hardly. But the low information voters hung on his every lie and reelected him.

In the category of continuing adventures, we have the cancellation of millions of individual health insurance policies as a result of Obamacare. Obamacare has consigned millions of affordable health insurance policies have been consigned to the ash heap of history. Michelle Malkin told the story in the first person last month in “Obama lied, my health plan died.” The Weekly Standard’s John McCormack updated the story this week in “Millions of Americans are losing their health plans because of Obamacare.” McCormack links to Robert Laszewski’s estimate that 16 million Americans have shared the Malkins’ fate.

CBS News:

The Affordable Care Act was signed by President Obama in 2010 and since then he has repeated one reassuring phrase: “If you like your insurance plan you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasn’t happened yet. It won’t happen in the future.”

But it is happening. The president’s health care law raises the standards for insurance policies, which many consider to be a good thing. But hundreds of thousands of Americans whose policies don’t meet the new standards are being told that their health plans are being cancelled.

OUCH, ANOTHER HIT FROM MSNBC … ‘Very, Very Major’ Social Media Site Co-Founder, Obamacare Technology ‘Sucks’

It is not just Republicans who think that the Obamacare rollout is a disaster …

Willie Geist on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’  via Newsbusters told  panel that a person he interviewed who was a co-founder of a site so major that they would all know it and might have it open on their computers said the criticism of the Obamacare website is fair because the “technology sucks.” Let’s just say that social media web site founders are hardly ever Conservatives.

Obamacare depends on young, healthy people, especially, young healthy males to sign up for the train wreck and subsidize older, sicker or poorer individuals. However, if the young, technological savvy generation on Twitter, Facebook and other social media think the technology sucks as well, they will lose them. Young folks are not going to waste their time, spending hours waiting for a web site in which we currently live in an immediate, instantaneous world.

From NewsBusters:

WILLIE GEIST: I was interviewing last night at an event one of the co-founders of a very, very major social media site that you all know and may have open on your computers. And I said, are we being fair here? Am I missing something? He said, no, they had two-and-a-half years to figure this out; to build a site that would work, and as you said, there were going to be problems in the beginning, but you have things in place to fix that. And he said, frankly, the government’s technology sucks.

Obamacare (Healthcare.gov) Website Violates Licensing Agreement for Copyrighted Software from British Company SpryMedia

What a joke, You just can’t make this stuff up …

The Weekly Standard is reporting that the Obamacare webite, Healthcare.gov, violates licensing agreement for copyrighted software and uses a copyrighted web script for a data function for the site. UNREAL. As if the roll out of Obamacare has not been enough of an epic failure, now this. They had over 3 years and hundreds of millions of dollars and this is what was produced. Way to go Barack. I am pretty sure that violating copyrighted software and scripts is not considered a glitch. It is reported that SpryMedia said it was “extremely disappointed” to see the code used without the copyright notice, and that they’ll be looking into the issue with HHS.

Obama_Epic_Fail

Healthcare.gov, the federal government’s Obamacare website, has been under heavy criticism from friend and foe alike during its first two weeks of open enrollment.  Repeated errors and delays have prevented many users from even establishing an account, and outside web designers have roundly panned the structure and coding of the site as amateurish and sloppy.  The latest indication of the haphazard way in which Healthcare.gov was developed is the uncredited use of a copyrighted web script for a data function used by the site, a violation of the licensing agreement for the software.

The script in question is called DataTables, a very long and complex piece of website software used for formatting and presenting data.  DataTables was developed by a British company called SpryMedia which licenses the open-source software freely to anyone who complies with the licensing agreement.  A note at the bottom of the DataTables.net website says: “DataTables designed and created by SpryMedia © 2008-2013.”  The company explains the license for using the software on that website [emphasis added]:

More from NRO:

The copyright is in the opening lines of the software, an example of which can be found on SpryMedia’s website, but TWS says it’s not anywhere in Healthcare.gov’s code:

Obamacare Website (Healthcare.gov) is Such A Colossal Failure that Teal Media, Firm That Designed It, Has Removed All Reference To Its Work on the Site

Wanna Get Away … It appears that Teal Media wants to.

As reported at BuzzFeed,  Teal Media, a web design firm founded by a former member of the 2008 Obama campaign has removed all information regarding its work on the Obamacare exchange website. It was only just a few days ago that it was touting its role in helping to create Healthcare.gov. Imagine that? With all the negative attention and epic failure the role out of the Obamacare web page has been, who would want their name on this disaster?

Obama_dr3

Visit the website of Michigan-based design firm Teal Media today and you’d never know designers there helped create HealthCare.gov, the troubled online portal for Obamacare.

Just a few days ago, the site looked very different. Teal Media’s homepage featured its work on Obamacare prominently, placing a link to the firm’s work on one of the most well-known websites in America front and center. Now that link, as well as the page devoted to Teal’s work on HealthCare.gov, have been removed.

Here’s a cached version of what the homepage used to look like. And here’s a cached version of Teal’s page devoted just to its work on HealthCare.gov. That page has been deleted.

Teal Media doesn’t seem interested in talking about its work on HealthCare.gov. A woman who answered the phone at the company’s headquarters immediately referred BuzzFeed to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) at the Department of Health And Human Services (HHS) before a single question was asked. CMS is listed as Teal’s client on the firm’s now-erased HealthCare.gov page.

As Weasel Zippers opines, Barack Obama probably wishes that the focus was still on the government shutdown rather than the train wreck that is Obamacare.

Update I: Teal Media put Heathcare.Gov references back on their website following the report by BuzzFeed.
