Email-Server Gate: Hillary Clinton’s Emails So Secret Some lawmakers Can’t Read Them

ARE YOU KIDDING, HER EMAILS WERE SO SECRET THAT THEY ARE REDACTED TO LAWMAKERS …

Sorry folks, Hillary Clinton broke the law with regards to her callous and brazen use of a private server and maintaining private and top secret emails. FOX News is reporting that some of Hillary Clinton’s emails on her private server contained information so secret that senior lawmakers who oversee the State Department cannot read them without fulfilling additional security requirements. UNREAL. But of course the always truthful Hillary Clinton stating at the outset of this scandal that there was no secret emails on her private server.

If the Obama administration does not indict Hillary Clinton, it will prove just how corrupt it is and how there are two sets of rules of justice for those in the United States. Those that are pro-Obama and Democrat and the rest. The law is the law. This woman needs to be indicted. Drip, drip, drip, this woman cannot be trusted to run for dog catcher, let alone president.

Some of Hillary Clinton’s emails on her private server contained information so secret that senior lawmakers who oversee the State Department cannot read them without fulfilling additional security requirements, Fox News has learned.

The emails in question, as Fox News first reported earlier this week, contained intelligence classified at a level beyond “top secret.” Because of this designation, not all the lawmakers on key committees reviewing the case have high enough clearances.

A source with knowledge of the intelligence review told Fox News that senior members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, despite having high-level clearances, are among those not authorized to read the intelligence from so-called “special access programs” without taking additional security steps — like signing new non-disclosure agreements.

These programs are highly restricted to protect intelligence community sources and methods.

As Fox News previously reported, a Jan. 14 letter from Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III to senior lawmakers said an intelligence review identified “several dozen” additional classified emails — including specific intelligence from “special access programs” (SAP).

That indicates a level of classification beyond even “top secret,” the label previously given to two emails found on her server, and brings even more scrutiny to the Democratic presidential candidate’s handling of the government’s closely held secrets.

Washington Free Beacon: Fox News Chief Intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge reported Thursday night that more people may have viewed classified information on emails sent to Hillary Clinton’s private server than previously thought, some of which reportedly had a level of classification above “top secret.”

“Fox News is learning tonight there may be more spillage of classified information,” Herridge said. “A letter to Congress says several dozen classified emails were identified, but that number only reflects the main or root emails, not the number of times that classified email was forwarded, replied to, or copied to other people who did not have a need to know.”

Herridge reported on Tuesday that the Inspector General (IG) for the Intelligence Community identified “several dozen” classified emails on Clinton’s private server in her home beyond the two “top secret” ones already announced. Some of these emails contained intelligence known as “special access programs (SAP),” which is highly sensitive information that a select few people in government can view.

This information is considered so secret that the Inspector General had to obtain a higher security clearance to view the emails in question, and senior lawmakers with oversight of the State Department are not authorized to view them without fulfilling the necessary requirements to get a higher clearance.

Second IT Company Datto Inc. Agrees to Give Clinton’s Server Data to FBI

ANOTHER HILLARY CLINTON IT SERVER COMPANY COMES FORWARD …

DRIP, DRIP, DRIP … And the Hillary Clinton email/private server scandal keeps on coming. Just when you thought there was only one IT company involved in Hillary Clinton’s email server, there now appears to be another. Datto Inc., an IT company based in Norwalk, CT, has become the second firm to get caught up in the Hillary email/server scandal. The Connecticut based company to provide Hillary’s server data to the FBI. Hmm, remember when it was said that Hillary’s server was wiped/scrubbed clean? Not so fast. As Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin.com opines, maybe Val the bartender can explain to Hillary how her secure emails got in the Cloud.

… So you see, data is stored in the Cloud

Hillary Clinton hired a Connecticut company to back up her emails on a “cloud” storage system, and her lawyers have agreed to turn whatever it contains over to the FBI, a personal familiar with the situation said Tuesday.

The disclosure came as a Republican Senate committee chairman, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, also asked the firm to turn over to the committee copies of any Clinton emails still in its possession.

There were conflicting accounts as to whether the development could lead to recovery of any of Clinton’s more than 31,000 personal emails, which she said she deleted from her private server upon turning over her work-related emails to the State Department, at its request, in December 2014.

Datto Inc., based in Norwalk, Conn., became the second data storage firm to become entangled in the inquiry into Clinton’s unusual email arrangement, which has sparked a furor that has dogged her campaign. In August, Clinton and the firm that had managed her server since June 2013, Colorado-based Platte River Networks, agreed to surrender it for examination by the FBI.

On Friday, Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, and Platte River agreed to allow Datto to turn over the data from the backup server to the FBI, said the person familiar with Datto’s storage, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive. But of course Hillary Clinton will tell you that she is the most transparent individual ever. More from McClatchy DC.

Several weeks ago, Platte River employees discovered that her private server was syncing with an offsite Datto server, he said

When Datto acknowledged that was the case, a Platte River employee replied in an email: “This is a problem.”

Johnson said that “Datto apparently possessed a backup of the server’s contents since June 2013.”

Upon that discovery, Platte River “directed Datto to not delete the saved data and worked with Datto to find a way to move the saved information . . . back to Secretary Clinton’s private server.”

The letter also noted that Platte River employees were directed to reduce the amount of email data being stored with each backup. Late this summer, Johnson wrote, a Platte River employee took note of this change and inquired whether the company could search its archives for an email from Clinton Executive Service Corp. directing such a reduction in October or November 2014 and then again around February, advising Platte River to save only emails sent during the most recent 30 days.

Those reductions would have occurred after the State Department requested that Clinton turn over her emails.

215 More Hillary Clinton Emails, Now More than 400, Marked Classified In Latest State Department Email Dump

THE HILLARY EMAIL/PRIVATE SERVER SCANDAL CONTINUES TO GET WORSE AND WORSE ...

The State Department conducted another Hillary Clinton email document dump and low and behold, even more emails marked classified have turned up. According to the Politico, the number of emails now considered classified total more than 400, with three of the 215 newly classified documents marked as SECRET,  the middle tier of the national security classification system. But I thought Hillary said she had done nothing wrong? With all of this, how on Earth is this woman still a viable candidate to be President of the United States?

Nothing here folks, I’s a Clinton, what did you expect?

The controversy over Hillary Clinton’s use of personal email while she was secretary of state is showing no signs of easing, as the number of messages now deemed classified doubled with the State Department’s latest release and as more details emerged about the potential vulnerability of her account.

The number of emails now considered classified total more than 400, with three of the 215 newly classified documents marked as SECRET — the middle tier of the national security classification system. While Clinton has maintained that she never received or forwarded messages that were marked classified at the time, critics have argued that the use of a private email account and server put her in a precarious position when dealing with sensitive materials.

In another blow to the Clinton campaign’s “nothing to see here” narrative, the latest release shows that hackers targeted her personal email at least five times in August 2011, as part of a widespread speeding ticket hoax. It’s not clear if Clinton ever clicked on what appeared to be virus-laden attachments that security experts say seem to have originated in Russia. Clinton and her surrogates have argued there is no evidence her “home brew” email system was ever compromised.

More from Hot Air, its only a matter of time before the State Department distances itself from Clinton, but the rest of the Obama administration. It will be interesting to see what the White House does once and if Joe Biden enters the presidential race. Hillary will have bus tire marks on her pant suit.

State’s action in classifying this data is rather telling. Other e-mails have been classified above that level by demand from intelligence agencies and the FBI, but State has pushed back against those decisions on Hillary’s behalf. That has allowed Hillary’s defenders to try to muddy the waters by talking about overclassification as the real problem in this scandal, rather than Hillary’s use of an unsecured communications system to send and receive sensitive data relating to national security — including satellite-derived intel on North Korea’s nukes, which no one doubts should be highly classified. The decision by State to classify these as SECRET undermines that argument significantly.

Plus, now we find out that extremely sensitive diplomatic data on the Iranian nuclear negotiations may as well have been on Hotmail. I’m sure that will bolster trust among our allies about our ability to protect discussions held in confidence with our diplomatic personnel.

Emails Show Russia-linked Hackers Tried 5 Times to Break into Hillary Clinton’s Private Server

THANKS HILLARY CLINTON FOR PUTTING AMERICA AT RISK FOR YOUR SELFISH PURPOSES.

EMAIL-GATE CONTINUES TO GET WORSE FOR HILLARY CLINTON …  The AP is reporting that Russian linked hackers tried at least 5 times to break into Hillary Clinton’s private email server. It turns out that the hackers knew Hillary Clinton was using a private email account that they tried a phishing attempt on her private email in the form of a phony speeding ticket. Unbelievable, this is what happens when you have a private email account with no security measures. Had these emails been on a government server, it would all but be assured that they would have never gotten through cyber security.

Hillary Clinton Email_phising

Russia-linked hackers tried at least five times to pry into Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private email account while she was US secretary of state, emails released Wednesday show.

It is unclear, however, if she clicked on any attachment and exposed her account.

Clinton received the infected emails, disguised as speeding tickets, over four hours early on the morning of August 3, 2011.

The emails instructed recipients to print the attached tickets, which would have allowed hackers to take control of their computers.

Security researchers who analyzed the malicious software in September 2011 said that infected computers would transmit information from victims to at least three server computers overseas, including one in Russia.

But the phishing attempts highlight the risk of Clinton’s unsecure email being pried open by foreign intelligence agencies, even if others also received the virus concealed as a speeding ticket from Chatham, New York. The email misspelled the name of the city, came from a supposed New York City government account and contained a “Ticket.zip” file that would have been a red flag.

Most commercial antivirus software at the time would have detected the software, identified it as dangerous and prevented users from infecting themselves. It was unclear if the State Department’s network security would have flagged the infected message, or what precautions were in place protecting Clinton’s server in the basement of her home in Chappaqua.

Former State Department Officials Say Hillary’s E-mail Defense is ‘Total BS’

Hillary Clinton’s email defense is as I like to refer to … “Bovine Scatology”.

It appears that others are calling BS on Hillary Clinton and her excuses with the email/private server scandal. Former State Department security officials are calling Hillary Clinton’s email defense total bull $hit. Any secretary of state should have known better. It would appear that Hillary’s excuses are wearing thin with ex-state department insiders. This scandal is far from a right-wing conspiracy witch hunt that Ms. Clinton would have every one believe. It just will not go away. Why, because it has merit and legs. For the first time I am actually believing that this might just sink her presidential run.

Hillary Clinton_BS

Former State Department security officials don’t buy Hillary Clinton’s latest alibi that she couldn’t tell that government e-mails — which she improperly, if not illegally, kept for several years on an unsecured home server — contained top-secret information because they lacked official markings and weren’t classified until later.

Such messages contain sensitive “keywords” distinguishing them from unclassified information, even if the material didn’t bear a classified heading as she claims.

The secretary would have known better, the department officials say, because she was trained to understand the difference when she was “read in” on procedures to ID and handle classified information by diplomatic-security officials in 2009.

Clinton also went through a so-called “read-off” when she left office in 2013. In that debriefing, security officials reminded her of her duty to return all classified documents, including ones in which the classification status is “uncertain,” which would have included the e-mails stored on her private server — which she only this month turned over to authorities. The read-off would have included her signing a nondisclosure agreement.
