The optics at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA are priceless. After the Democrats and the Left claim that walls and borders are evil and that no fence need be built between the United States of America and Mexico to enforce legal immigration, stop crime, disease and drugs from illegally crossing the border and to protect our national security … the DNC builds a 4- mile, 8-foot fence around the Wells Fargo Center to protect their DNC privileged elites so that they do not have to deal or interact with the common folk. Wait, where is the bridge that Democrats talk about so much?

To the Democratic National Committee elites, keeping average Americans away from their convention is a good idea, while protecting the southern border from intruding terrorists, rapists and murderers is a bad one.

The DNC has erected a four-mile fence around its convention site at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. (Isn’t it ironic they’re doing so much to protect a site named after a bank?)

The fence, which appears to be about 8 feet tall, is intended to keep out any individuals with whom Democratic Party leaders, delegates and other liberal elites would rather not mingle.

But what else would you expect from a bunch of elitist hypocrites who make one set of rules for themselves and another set for the common man. This is from the same people who claim that building a higher wall between the US and Mexico would accomplish nothing, yet they are building a higher fence that surrounds the White House.

The number of police officers shot and killed in the USA is 44% higher than at this time last year following the Dallas ambush Thursday night that left five officers dead, according to data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The deaths of four Dallas police officers and one Dallas transit officer from sniper fire during a protest in the city Thursday raised the national total of firearm deaths among police to 26. This compares with 18 at this point in time in 2015, said Nick Breul, director of research for the fund in Washington, D.C.

Breul said it was also the latest of 11 ambushes of police officers so far this year across the country, already outpacing the eight ambushes of law enforcement that occurred last year.

Obama’s White House Gets Higher Wall, But a Wall Between Mexico and USA for Border Security is A Bad Thing

The new 11-foot-7-inch barrier surrounding the White House facility will replace the 7 foot one to prevent individuals from jumping or scaling the current one. OH THE IRONY. So from the president who says fences and walls are not the answer comes the following that they are the answer when it comes to White House security. Hmm, this reeks of do as I say, not as I do and that Obama and the house he lives in is more important than the country we live in.

Of course the fool made a reference to the Iron Curtain, and any literate person knows that it was a wall to keep people in, not out. Maybe Obama should take his own advice in that ignorance is not a virtue. Obama said the following: “Building walls won’t do that. It won’t boost our economy, and it won’t enhance our security either. But higher and more secure walls are perfectly okay for Obama. And with regards to ignorance not being a virtue Mr. President, the United States of America is a governed by rule of laws. We have never allowed all immigrants into this country. They have always had to pass a standard. And they certainly could not come into the country illegally. Sorry, but that was not how we became America. Also, since you brought up the “melting pot”. What melting pot are you referring to when in today’s society I see Mexican flags being flown at rallies and a Muslims in the USA want Sharia law? The melting pot meant assimilation into the American way of culture and society, not keeping your own.

The Wall Street Journal: Higher Fence Surrounding White House.

The federal Commission of Fine Arts has given its preliminary approval for a taller White House fence to better protect the presidential mansion after a rash of fence-hopping incidents.

The commission on Thursday voted to approve an 11-foot-7-inch barrier surrounding the White House facility after a presentation by the U.S. Secret Service and the National Park Service. The new fence would replace the current 7-foot barrier.

The new fence “incorporates anti-climb and intrusion detection technology, while respecting the historical significance and visitor experience at the White House and President’s Park,” the Secret Service and Park Service said in a joint statement.

The commission, an independent federal agency charged with reviewing design and aesthetics at federal facilities, among other things, will still need to sign off on the final design, which will be refined and finalized in the coming months. The Secret Service and the Park Service hope to begin construction on the new White House fence by 2018.

A set of temporary barriers have been placed around the White House since last year to keep visitors away from the current White House fence after a number of security incidents showed that it could be easily scaled. The temporary barricades prevent tourists and visitors from approaching the fence itself.

How come Obama’s “OPEN BORDERS” philosophy is not implemented at his own house? Next up, Barack and Michelle will be telling us to eat cake.

Oh course this was a backhanded slap at Donald Trump by Obama. Could you be any more small? And more of a hypocrite? The liar in chief was back at it again trying to tell millennials that building a wall to keep illegals out was a bad this as the White House is currently constructing a taller fence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to keep people out. Shocker. Obama claims walls don’t solve ills, really?

President Obama used his commencement speech at Rutgers University to tear into Donald Trump’s trade agenda, his Muslim ban, and his planned wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.As he did at an address at Howard University earlier this spring, the president went straight after Trump’s most controversial policies after the usual bromides hailing graduates and name-dropping their favorite greasy spoons and watering holes.

‘The world is more interconnected than ever before. And it’s becoming more connected every day. Building walls won’t change that,’ Obama said.

‘To help ourselves, we’ve got to help others, not pull up the drawbridge and try to keep the world out,’ Obama said.

Obama never mentioned Donald Trump by name but he clearly advised against believing in the Republican candidate’s campaign platform. Obama stated, “The world is more interconnected than ever before. Building walls won’t change that.” Obama also said that ignorance is not a virtue and not knowing what you’re talking about shouldn’t be viewed as telling it like it is. It should be viewed as a rejection of responsible thought.

The White House fence is currently 6 feet tall, this one goes to 11.

But wait, Obama slams Trump for wanting to build a wall to protect the United States borders and sovereignty, as the White House is getting its fences raised 5 feet in order to keep trespassers out. Imagine that, higher and stronger fences do work. So it is okay for the White House to have a higher fence to keep people out, but it is not okay for the United States of America to have the same. First they installed spikes on top of the fence and now plan on making it taller.  Hmm, anyone see a double standard here?

The U.S. Secret Service plans to raise the height of the White House security fence by 5 feet and add a new concrete foundation to reduce the risk of fence-jumpers, according to a copy of an agency report obtained by the News4 I-Team.

The agency, along with the National Park Service, said it intends to begin building a “taller, stronger” fence to protect the White House grounds by 2018.

And from the Right Wing News comes more Obama hypocrisy when it comes to walls …

But, seriously, what about walls? Obama lives behind a big fence, one which the Secret Service wants to make bigger. Five feet bigger. And the security for the fence, an attempt to keep the world out, includes armed security, many with sniper rifles.

Apparently, walls work, because Team Obama is funding a wall on the Tunisia/Libya border to stop the flow of Islamists. There’s also partial funding for a wall in Jordan. And supposedly one in Niger to stop Boko Haram.
