Rep. Paul Ryan (WI-R) Was a Great Romney VP Pick … In Florida With his Mom Betty Ryan Says … “Mom, I’m proud of you for the small business you created. YOU DID BUILD THAT!!!”

Paul Ryan … he continues to be a great choice by Mitt Romney for the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate.

Yesterday, at a campaign rally in Florida at The Villages, the largest retirement community for seniors in the world. At the event Paul Ryan brought his secret weapon, his 78 year old mom Betty. Many Democrat pundits thought that Romney would keep Ryan away from the seniors and Florida because of Ryan’s plan to fix Medicare. Hardly, Ryan went straight to the swing state of Florida that is home to the greatest number of seniors in America to tell the truth of his plan. Ryan drew huge crowds at The Villages as reported by Deep Fried Manatees.

Also reported at the Orlando Sentinel, Ryan spoke to an adoring, invigorated crowd of thousands. When the truth comes out of the Romney-Ryan Medicare plan vs. Obamacare and the taking of money from the program. Ryan stated that we must fulfill the promise and the guarantee of Medicare to present seniors and reform it for the generations to follow.

A large banner sign behind him said, “Protect and strengthen Medicare,” a crucial theme of his speech to the mostly 55-plus crowd. Meanwhile, an airplane circled above the event with a banner that read “Paul Ryan: Keep Your Hands off Our Medicare.”

Ryan focused on Medicare seven minutes into his speech. He said older Americans, including his mother, have planned their retirements around the program.

“We have got to keep that guarantee,” he said.

But to save Medicare, Ryan said it must be reformed for his generation and beyond. Ryan has called on the introduction of a voucher program in which individuals can shop for coverage.

Ryan contrasted his plan to leave the program intact for current seniors with President Barack Obama’s plan, which Ryan said would take decision-making power away from seniors to a panel of 15 bureaucrats.

During Paul Ryan’s speech he wowed the crowds with the truth and honesty of his views of the fixing Medicare so that it would uphold the promise of healthcare to the present day and soon to be seniors as well as provide a choice for those under the age of 55. However, Ryan did one better, he brought his secret Medicare weapon to Florida in the form of his mom, Betty. Any honest, right thinking person knows that Ryan is not going to do something that would take Medicare away from his own mother. However, in a brilliant combination of political issues, Ryan combined the Medicare issue with the economy, jobs and small business. President Obama will rue the day he ever made the comment “you did not build it with regards to small business owners. During Ryans speach as he was honoring his mom, see video below, Paul Ryan said the following to the cheers of the crowd … “Mom, I’m proud of you for the small business you created. YOU DID BUILD THAT!!!”

Honestly, how does one even compare the two VP candidates at this point? In one corner you have the GOP superstar Paul Ryan who has been an incredibly boost the the Romney campaign and invigorated the campaign from defense to offense. In the other, you have Democrats Joe Biden who has been such a colossal screw-up and gaffe master that he has been sent by Obama to stand in the corner in a political time out.

Paul Ryan: “We had a rule in Wisconsin. It’s kind of an unwritten rule: you turn 65; you have to go south for the winter. We call them ‘snow birds’. My mom is a snow bird. She is a Florida resident, and she lives over by Ft. Lauderdale, and she like so many people here, she comes down here for the winter—just like so many folks from all over the country do. You know, my grandma moved in with us—with my mom and me—when I was in high school. She had advanced Alzheimer’s. My mom and I were her two primary caregivers. You learn a lot about life; you learn a lot about your elderly seniors in your family; you learn a lot about Alzheimer’s. Medicare was there for our family, for my grandma, when we needed it then; and Medicare is there for my mom while she needs it now, and we have to keep that guarantee.”

Paul Ryan’s Speech at Norfolk, VA Accepting to be Mitt Romney’s Vice President … Obama, a Record of Failure … Obama Has Refused to make diffuclt Decisions Because more Worried about their Next Election Than They are About the Next Generation!

“We can turn this thing around.  Real solutions can be delivered.  But, it will take leadership.  And the courage to tell you the truth.

“Mitt Romney is this kind of leader.  I’m excited for what lies ahead and I’m thrilled to be a part of America’s Comeback Team. And together, we will unite America and get this done.”

Paul Ryan, Romney’s pick as Vice President for the Republican Party in 2012 knocked his speech out of the park this morning. Paul Ryan, the young, intelligent and fiscal House rep from Wisconsin introduced himself to America today and hit a home run. While Obama runs negative ads because they cannot run on their failed record, Ryan presented a positive message to prevent America from going over the cliff. America is not just a country, it is an idea. Ryan went on to say, “But America is more than just a place … it’s an idea.  It’s the only country founded on an idea.  Our rights come from nature and God, not government.  We promise equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. This idea is founded on the principles of liberty, freedom, free enterprise, self-determination and government by consent of the governed. Amen!!!

“Our Rights Come from Nature and God, Not Government”
“We won’t duck the tough issues…we will lead!”
“We won’t blame others…we will take responsibility!”
“We won’t replace our founding principles…we will reapply them!”
“I’m proud to stand with a man who understands what it takes to foster job creation in our economy, someone who knows from experience, that if you have a small business—you did build that.”

Thank you Governor Romney, Ann.  I am deeply honored and excited to join you as your running mate.

Mitt Romney is a leader with the skills, the background and the character that our country needs at a crucial time in its history. Following four years of failed leadership, the hopes of our country, which have inspired the world, are growing dim; and they need someone to revive them. Governor Romney is the man for this moment; and he and I share one commitment: we will restore the dreams and greatness of this country.

I want you to meet my family.  My wife Janna, our daughter Liza, and our sons, Charlie and Sam.

I am surrounded by the people I love, and I have been asked by Governor Romney to serve the country I love.

Janesville, Wisconsin is where I was born and raised, and I never really left it. It’s our home now.

For the last 14 years, I have proudly represented Wisconsin in Congress.  There, I have focused on solving the problems that confront our country, and turning ideas into action; and action into solutions.

I am committed, in heart and mind, to putting that experience to work in a Romney Administration. This is a crucial moment in the life of our nation; and it is absolutely vital that we select the right man to lead America back to prosperity and greatness.

That man is standing next to me. His name is Mitt Romney. And he will be the next president of the United States

My dad died when I was young. He was a good and decent man. I still remember a couple of things he would say that have really stuck with me.  “Son you are either part of the problem or part of the solution.”

Regrettably, President Obama has become part of the problem,…and Mitt Romney is the solution.

The other thing my dad would say is that every generation of Americans leaves their children better off. That’s the American legacy.

Sadly, for the first time in our history, we are on a path which will undo that legacy. That is why we need new leadership to become part of the solution – new leadership to restore prosperity, economic growth, and jobs.

It is our duty to save the American Dream for our children, and theirs.

And I believe there is no person in America who is better prepared – because of his experience; because of the principles he holds; and because of his achievements and excellence in so many different arenas – to lead America at this point in its history.

Let me say a word about the man Mitt Romney will replace. No one disputes President Obama inherited a difficult situation.  And, in his first 2 years, with his party in complete control of Washington, he passed nearly every item on his agenda.  But that didn’t make things better.

In fact, we find ourselves in a nation facing debt, doubt and despair.

•This is the worst economic recovery in 70 years. Unemployment has been above 8 percent for more than three years, the longest run since the Great Depression. Families are hurting.

•We have the largest deficits and the biggest federal government since WWII.
•Nearly 1 out of 6 Americans are in poverty–the worst rate in a generation.  Moms and dads are struggling to make ends meet.

•Household incomes have dropped by more than $4,000 over the past four years.

Whatever the explanations, whatever the excuses, this is a record of failure.

Barack Obama, the Not So “Marvelous” President … Google & You Tube Are Just So Unforgiving

BARACK OBAMA, THE NOT SO MARVELOUS, BUT DESPERATE PRESIDENT … I GUESS OBAMA WAS OUT OF TOUCH WHEN HE SAID HAT MICHELLE OBAMA WAS DOING A “MARVELOUS” JOB …

Dear President Barack Obama, “Isn’t it  marvelous” that search engines like Google and Internet sites like You Tube can record all of your comments so that when you try to mock and belittle individuals, your BS gets thrown back in your face? Like when you pathetically tried to make fun of GOP Presidential primary candidate Mitt Romney and ridiculously tried and paint him as an out of touch individual at an April 3, 2012 AP luncheon? Just this past week Obama criticized Romney for using the term “marvelous” to describe Paul Ryan’s budget. Really Mr. President, before you mock others, you best check what you have said in the past yourself.

Sorry Barack, if “Marvelous” is good enough for Billy Crystal and Fernando, it is good enough for me

When President Barack Obama criticized Mitt Romney by name this week for embracing a controversial Republican budget proposal, he worded his attack carefully and with bite.

“(Romney) said that he’s ‘very supportive’ of this new budget, and he even called it ‘marvelous’ – which is a word you don’t often hear when it comes to describing a budget,” Obama said during a speech on Tuesday, before adding:

“It’s a word you don’t often hear generally.”

How pathetic that we have a president that at every turn tries to pit American against American, play the race card and in this case the affluent card. How desperate could he be? Obama tries to pin using the word “marvelous” to being rich and out of touch. Although as stated at Powerline what takes even more nerve is for Obama to criticize anothers budget when Obama’s could not garner a single  vote and his Democrat Senate refuse to write one. Yet Obama did exactly that.

Obama’s riff on Romney’s use of the word “marvelous” to describe Representative Paul Ryan’s budget plans carried a subtle message.

“It’s a word you kind of associate with the upper class, and I think that the intention was to tweak Romney for being wealthy and, you know, sort of brought up in the kinds of circles where they would say ‘marvelous,’” said Kenneth Sherrill, a political science expert at New York’s Hunter College.

Barack Obama should have had his minions check Google and You Tube before he made such ignorant comments regarding “marvelous” not often being heard. I guess Barack Obama does not even listen to his own words.

So marvelous is a term you generally don’t hear at all, eh Barack? How about the time when Obama used the term “marvelous” to describe Martin Luther King’s oratory. Or when Obama described his “marvelous” surrounds. Finally when Obama used the term “marvelous” to describe the job that his wife, the First Lady Michelle Obama was doing.

Could Barack Obama be any more of a decisive clown? Seriously, how ridiculous, childish and small could this man possibly be?  He would mock some one for using a word that he uses all the time. Obama does not anyone to look at his record on the economy, instead he thinks he is cute by mocking Romney instead, how marvelous.  He thinks you are stupid America.

Barack Obama Calls Out the Ryan Budget Yet WH Spokesperson Jay Carney Refuses to Address Why Obama Will Nor Call Out Democrat Controlled Senate To Pass Budget

The Barack Obama Presidency has no credibility. Obama is quick to call out Republican House Rep Paul Ryan’s budget, yet Obama and his minions are as quiet as a church mouse when it comes to why “The One” says nada when it comes to Harry Reid and the US Senate’s and the president’s own budget. What is most incredible is when Obama references Ryan’s budget as radical, it sounds like he is talking about his own policies and agenda.

Hot Air nails the duplicity of Barack Obama and his mouth piece minions. Obviously Jay Carney can’t handle the truth … nor questions about Obama’s budget or the lack there of.

To cleanse the palate, a simple question: Since only 51 votes are needed to pass a budget in the Senate and there are 53 Democratic and left-leaning independent senators, why doesn’t smilin’ Harry Reid ram through O’s latest spending blowout? The White House gets awfully fidgety when the media presses them on this, to the point where even former OMB director Jack Lew was forced to play dumb about how many votes are needed for Democrats to pass this thing.

Wisconsin Republican Congressman Paul Ryan Says He Wil Not Run for President in 2012

Its official, after many months of speculation, US Representative Paul Ryan (WI-R) has decided that he will not run for President in 2012. With so many others dipping their toe in the political GOP Presidential field but not yet committing like former Alaska Gov.  Sarah Palin, former NY Gov. George Pataki, NJ Gov. Chris Christie, the fiscal conservative Ryan has decided not to run, this time.

Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan has decided for a final time that he will not run for president in 2012, THE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned. Ryan, who began seriously considering a bid in late May after Indiana governor Mitch Daniels took himself out of the race, had consulted with top Republicans, including Karl Rove and Frank Luntz, as he contemplated his political future. And though many of those he talked with told him he would be a viable candidate in such a fluid race, even as a late entry, Ryan ultimately decided to continue his focus on debt and entitlement reform as chairman of the House Budget Committee

However, the 41 year old Paul Ryan has his entire political career ahead of him. He is is economic and debt cutting expert of the GOP who had the courage to put forth a plan and show leadership to take paying down the debt head on. Something that even the POTUS has not done. I am a fan of Paul Ryan and look for him to run for President in the not too distant future. However, I tend to think, as does the Lonely Conservative, that Ryan’s best place for the GOP and the USA is in the House. This is a good call on Ryan’s part, he has some unfinished business with America’s long term debt burden and after the 2012 election, his efforts to make the US fiscally responsible will make him a star.

For Ryan, being president has never been a lifelong ambition. His consideration of a presidential bid came not because of any desire to be president and, in many respects, came in spite of his inclinations against one. Ryan has hoped that he might play the role of Jack Kemp to the next Ronald Reagan.

Let’s just say this … the GOP stable of future Presidential candidates is packed. The list includes, Paul Ryan, Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Nikki Haley – Governor of South Carolina,  and US Senator Marco Rubio, FL are the future of the GOP. And what a future.
