COULD THERE BE A SECOND SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE THE INVESTIGATORS?

House Republicans unveiled Tuesday a 12 page resolution calling for a second special counsel to investigate misconduct and possible crimes at the highest levels of the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. House Republicans and members of the Freedom Caucus have called for a special counsel as they believe that the FBI and DOJ are incapable of investigating themselves. I would agree. During the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s server/emails and the so-called Trump-Russian collusion investigations, we have been witness to bias, partisanship and a double standard from high ranking members of the DOJ & FBI, the likes we have never seen.

The resolution is backed by Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus as well as two of the group’s co-founders — Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

Fox News has learned the 12-page resolution will ask a second special counsel to probe matters related to three topics:The ending of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s personal email server, the progress of the Trump-Russia investigation from its origins through the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, and abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the warrant application process.

The resolution is expected to say that a second special counsel would have greater autonomy to investigate those issues than the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General. Last week, Inspector General Michael Horowitz told lawmakers that he had completed his draft report on the Clinton investigation and submitted it to the DOJ and the FBI.

Expressing  the  sense  of  Congress  that  the  Attorney  General
of  the  United  States  should  appoint  a  Special  Counsel
to  investigate  misconduct  at  the  Department  of  Justice
and  Federal  Bureau  of  Investigation,  including  an  inves-
tigation   of   abuse   of   the   FISA   warrant   process,   how
and  why  the  Hillary  Clinton  probe  ended,  and  how  and
why the Donald Trump-Russia probe began.

Whereas  there  is  an  urgent  need  for  the  appointment  of  a
second  Special  Counsel  in  light  of  evidence  that  raises
critical  concerns  about  decisions,  activities,  and  inherent
bias  displayed  at  the  highest  levels  of  the  Department  of
Justice   (DOJ)   and   Federal   Bureau   of   Investigation
(FBI)  regarding  FISA  abuse,  how  and  why  the  Hillary
Clinton  email  probe  ended,  and  how  and  why  the  Donald
Trump-Russia probe began;

Whereas  the  concerns  of  the  American  people  are  serious  and
the   issues   requiring   an   immediate,   unbiased,   inde-
pendent, and thorough investigation are broad;

Whereas  misconduct  during  the  2016  presidential  election  by
high-ranking  individuals  within  the  FBI  and  DOJ  may
have  led  to  the  premature  conclusion  of  the  FBI’s  2016
probe  into  then-presidential  candidate  and  former  Sec-
retary of State Hillary Clinton; [...]

BLUE WAVE STOPPED, DEMOCRATS FAIL TO WIN AZ 8TH …

The former Arizona state senator Republican Debbie Lesko defeated Democratic Hiral Tipirneni to win the special congressional election for the 8th House District on Tuesday, 52.6% to 47.4%.  Lesko’s victory guarantees that the GOP will hold on to a seat held previously by former Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), who resigned over a personal scandal. As stated at Breitbart, the Blue wave fizzles when Democrats act and conduct themselves as Democrats, not GOP like.

The “Blue Wave” concept had gained some credence in March when Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA) defeated Republican Rick Saccone in a special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District, which President Trump carried by 19 points in 2016.

But the special election in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District Tuesday differed from last month’s special election in Pennsylvania in several ways.

First, Hiral Tipirneni was not the same kind of candidate as Conor Lamb, as Breitbart News reported:

Tipirneni’s professional background and political positioning differ from those of Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA), a military veteran and attorney who parlayed his public opposition to Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) into a narrow victory over his Republican opponent in last month’s special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District.

“The heightened Republican voter turnout [in early voting] may have been influenced by recent reports questioning the professional background of Tipirneni, the Democrat candidate,” Breitbart News noted.

Second, Arizona’s 8th Congressional District is a traditionally Republican district, while Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District is more of a traditionally union oriented blue-collar Democratic district.

Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence fell for a prank phone call in which two Russian comedians claimed to have naked pictures of President Donald Trump. Don”t let them fool you in saying they knew it was a prank. No one would take this much time and get access to the Representative. The double standard and hypocrisy of Shifty Adam Schiff is amazing. Whether this was a prank or not, Schiff did not know and didn’t he just get caught colluding with a foreign agent? This dude thought he was going to get dirt on Trump and didn’t care where it came from.

The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee was the victim of a prank phone call by Russian comedians who offered to give him ‘compromising’ dirt on Donald Trump – including nude photos of the president and a Russian reality show star.

DailyMail.com can disclose that after the prank, his staff engaged in correspondence with what they thought was a Ukrainian politician to try to obtain the ‘classified’ material promised on the call.

On an audio recording of the prank call posted online, Adam Schiff can be heard discussing the committee’s Russia investigation and increasingly bizarre allegations about Trump with a man who claimed to be Andriy Parubiy, the chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament.

The call, made a year ago, was reportedly from two Russian comedians nicknamed ‘Vovan’ and ‘Lexus’ who have become notorious for their phony calls to high-ranking American officials and celebrities, including UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and Elton John. The call was first reported in The Atlantic’s Jan/Feb 2018 issue, where a spokesman for Schiff said: “Before agreeing to take the call, and immediately following it, the committee informed appropriate law-enforcement and security personnel of the conversation, and of our belief that it was probably bogus.”

“There were pictures of naked Trump,” one of the pranksters told Schiff, explaining that they were obtained by Putin’s goddaughter.

Schiff asks: “And the materials you can provide to the committee and to the FBI, would they corroborate this allegation? … So you have recordings… where they’re discussing the compromising material?”

“Obviously we would welcome the chance to get copies of those recordings,” Schiff tells them. “So we will try to work with the FBI to try to figure out how we can take copies of those… I’ll be in touch with the FBI about this, and we’ll make arrangements with your staff. I think it would be best to provide these materials to both our committee and the FBI. We’ll make arrangements between my staff and yours on how to facilitate that.”

OH THE HYPOCRISY FROM SCHIFF AND THE LEFT …

Hmm, wasn’t it Adam Schiff who condemned Donald Trump Jr. and claimed the younger Trump violated his oath of citizenship by meeting with Russian agents to obtain incriminating information against Hillary Clinton? I am just curious, well what the hell does he think he is doing? What the hell is the Russian dossier but obtaining the same thing from foreign entities?

Donald Trump Jr.’s willingness to meet with a Russian agent last year to obtain incriminating information on Hillary Clinton represented “a breach of civic responsibility” and a “violation of the oaths of citizenship,” Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee, told reporters Tuesday.

The committee is leading one of several congressional investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election and the Kremlin’s potential ties to the Trump team.

Schiff offered some additional insight into where the committee’s investigation might be heading, in light of an email exchange made public by Trump Jr. on Tuesday confirming details of his meeting with a woman described as a “Russian government attorney” who had apparently promised to deliver dirt on Clinton.

The 4 page memo that summarizes the FBI and DOJ’s abuses relating to the Steele dossier, the Obama administration’s FISA applications, and improper spying on the Trump campaign by the Obama administration has been released by the House Intelligence Committee. The memo alleges the FBI/DOJ/Obama administration abusedFISA law to obtain warrants. Republicans have called the contents of the memo as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming.” As stated at Powerline, “You can also judge the memo’s contents from the remarks of arch-Democrat Adam Schiff: ‘Today this committee voted to put the president’s personal interests, perhaps their own political interests, above the Democratic Party’s national interests,’ the Democrat said.” So why doesn’t the Democrats, the LEFT and the liberal MSM want the contents of the memo open to the public? The lack of transparency on the part of the LEFT is telling and will be remembered come election time. Just how damning is it? The public will see soon and be able to make their own call. The truth needs to come out on this.

The House Intelligence Committee on Monday evening voted to release a classified memo circulating in Congress that purportedly reveals government surveillance abuses.

The vote was announced to reporters by California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, who called it a “very sad day, I think, in the history of this committee.” The motion passed on a party-line basis, he said.

President Trump now has five days to decide whether he has any objections before the memo can be publicly released.

Last week, a top Justice Department official urged House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes not to release the memo, saying it would be “extraordinarily reckless” and could harm national security and ongoing investigations.

The four-page memo has being described by GOP lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia.

The memo will not be immediately released, but could be at any time this week or next. Following the release of the memo, the document goes to President Trump, who has up to five days to review and reject or approve its publication. One of President Donald Trump’s fiercest critics on Capitol Hill will address the country just after next Tuesday’s State of the Union.

Rep. Maxine Waters, a California Democrat, will speak at the top of a BET News special after Trump delivers the State of the Union, a BET spokesperson told BuzzFeed News. The program, “Angela Rye’s State of the Union,” is part of a broader partnership announced just days ago between the network and the Democratic strategist and political commentator. Rye will executive produce news programs with a sharp focus on issues facing black Americans. The programs will run quarterly, BET said in a release.

The spokesperson said activists and some elected officials will analyze Trump’s first year in office on the program, and will talk about “building black politics and the value of engagement across today’s socio-political landscape.” A Democratic source familiar with the production on Friday night told BuzzFeed News that it wasn’t immediately clear if the program would air on Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Trump has recently taken to highlighting how well he believes black Americans are doing under his presidency, tweeting earlier this month that he was “so happy” that black joblessness was plummeting. Earlier this month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said the rate had fallen below 7%, but analysts disagree over how much credit, if any, Trump deserves for that drop. Black lawmakers certainly don’t think he deserves that credit, and some plan to let him know that Tuesday by boycotting his speech.
