Establishment GOP Speaker in Waiting Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) Drops Out of the Race for House Speaker
AS THE ESTABLISHMENT INSIDE THE BELTWAY REPUBLICANS AND MSM GO MENTAL … WE THE PEOPLE CELEBRATE!!!
In a shocking turn of events, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has dropped out of the race to become the new House Speaker. The heir apparent for the establishment “Inside the Beltway” Republicans and next in line to outgoing Speaker John Boehner has called it quits in his efforts to become Speaker. It was obvious that McCarthy could not get the 218 votes needed to become Speaker and he would just represent a continuation of the failed Boehner House Speaker years. Also, the handwriting was on the wall as to what he would represent to the GOP and those they represent when McCarthy made the comment last week regarding the Benghazi hearings and Hillary Clinton.
How many times do the establishment GOP leadership need to be slapped upside their heads by We the People before they get it? We are sick and tired of being attacked by GOP leadership. It is not the Democrats who attack us, its the limousine Republicans who think its more important to be in and remain in Washington, DC than it is to do what we elected them to do and gave them the majority to do so. As Rep. Jason Chaffetz (UT-R) said over the weekend, the people want change and a fresh face.
But let’s get a couple of things straight, as the liberal MSM would try and tell you and the Republican establishment media as well … The House is not in chaos. This is the process. This is what change looks like. This is what the political process looks like when Representatives finally do the will of the People they represent. This is what it looks like when the People get fed up with politicians who they elected into a majority to take on Obama’s liberal agenda, and sadly have acted like cowards.
Good grief as The Hill reports, the establishment GOP’s are in mourning and tears.
McCarthy stunned his his colleagues by telling them of his decision as they were preparing to cast ballots for Speaker. The election was immediately postponed.
Rep. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) said McCarthy’s withdrawal drove some lawmakers to tears.
“The person next to me was crying,” he said.
As as an addendum, Paul Ryan is not the answer either. If the GOP does not get this right and do right by the folks who elected them to office in 2010 and again in 2012 and 2014, they will be thrown out of office in 2016. The GOP needs fresh new faces and new ideas. Hell, any ideas and a leader that will actually fight.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) Launched Campaign to Become House Speaker (VIDEO) … “I think the American Public wants to see a Change.”
A NOTE TO THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT … IT IS THE PEOPLE’S HOUSE!!!
As reported at The Politico, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (UT-R) has officially launched a campaign to become the next Republican Speaker of the House. He is currently the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman. Rep. Chaffetz said this morning on Fox News Sunday, “I think the American public wants to see a change. They want a fresh start. You don’t just give an automatic promotion to the existing leadership team, that doesn’t signal change. I think they want a fresh face and a fresh new person who’s actually there at the leadership table in the speaker’s role.”
Chaffetz described himself as well-positioned to “bridge the divide” between the establishment and conservative factions of the Republicans in the House.
Majority Leader McCarthy has broad support within the House Republican Conference and remains the overwhelming favorite to succeed outgoing Speaker John Boehner. But isn’t he just a continuation of the GOP establishment problem? If Republicans in the House make McCarthy the next Speaker, it will just show they are tone deaf and refuse to listen to the people they claim to represent. Who ever becomes the Speaker better damn well use the power of the purse and defend GOP principles and understand why they were put there by We the People.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz has officially launched his dark-horse campaign for House speaker, arguing he’s a better choice to unite the fractious Republican conference and that Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy lacks the communication skills and credibility with conservatives needed to succeed in the top leadership job.
In a lengthy interview with POLITICO in his Capitol Hill office this weekend, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee predicted that opposition from conservatives will block McCarthy from securing the 218 votes he needs to be elected on the House floor later this month – and so Chaffetz is pitching himself as an alternative.
“There are very few people who can win the support of our hardcore conservatives and yet be palatable to our more moderate members,” he said. “The question is who can help unite the party and bridge the divide and I hope they see me as the person that will give everyone a fair shake.”
McCarthy has broad support within the House Republican Conference and remains the overwhelming favorite to succeed outgoing Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). And it’s unclear how much support Chaffetz can actually garner. Chaffetz, who remarked that he’s “comfortable with losing,” would not say whether he has any pledged supporters.
But until now, McCarthy faced only token opposition in Florida Rep. Daniel Webster; Chaffetz, by contrast, is the head of a major committee and a respected figure among the rank-and-file. At the very least, the Utah Republican’s last-minute entry complicates McCarthy’s path and highlights the uneasiness with which the centrist Californian is viewed among the most conservative members of the GOP conference.
WSJ: U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz Says He Will Run for House Speaker.
“I think the American public wants to see a change. They want a fresh start,” Mr. Chaffetz said on Fox News Sunday. “You don’t just give an automatic promotion to the existing leadership team, that doesn’t signal change. I think they want a fresh face and a fresh new person who’s actually there at the leadership table in the speaker’s role.”
Mr. McCarthy stumbled in the past week when he suggested a panel formed to investigate the 2012 Benghazi attacks had achieved a political victory in causing Hillary Clinton’s approval rating to sink. The comments gave Democrats fodder to say that the panel is a politically motivated attempt to discredit Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate who was secretary of state at the time of the attacks.
Republicans have long said that their only motivation for years of hearings was to uncover the truth behind what happened when an attack on an outpost in Libya killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
Mr. Chaffetz said Thursday that Mr. McCarthy should apologize for the comments.
I will say this to Rep. Chaffetz, you are 100% incorrect when you gave political platitudes to Rep. McCarthy, “We owe Kevin McCarthy a lot; he is a major reason we enjoy the majority, with the strongest numbers we’ve had since the 1920s.” WHAT!!! NONE OF YOU IN THE GOP ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT … YOU WERE GIVEN THE MAJORITY AND INCREASING NUMBERS BY CONSERVATIVES AND THE TEA PARTY!!! Unless, you are saying such because you lied to Republicans by saying a GOP majority in the House would defund and end Obamacare, reduce the deficit, and defund liberal immoral programs like Planned Parenthood, then yes you are a reason.

Outgoing Speaker John Boehner on ‘Face the Nation’ … Calls Conservatives False Prophets
THE FACE THE NATION JUST SHOWS EXACTLY WHY JOHN BOEHNER WAS A TERRIBLE GOP SPEAKER …
Can this gutless, crying wonder leave sooner rather than later? This cowardly lion decided to take parting shots at the very people who put him in the majority. This ass actually had the audacity to take shots on the GOP and Conservatives during the interview calling them “false prophets”. In his first interview since his resignation announcement, Speaker John Boehner blasted right-wing lawmakers and groups as “false prophets” who “whip people into a frenzy” to make legislative demands that “are never going to happen.” REALLY? It was YOU and your GOP establishment who said you were going to stop the Obama/Reid Pelosi agenda if given the House back. So that makes you nothing more than a LIAR!!!
GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
In his first interview since his surprising announcement Friday that he is both resigning his role as Speaker of the House and his congressional seat at the end of October, John Boehner “unloads on GOP ‘false prophets’” on Face the Nation.
Politico reports:
In his first one-on-one interview since his resignation announcement, Speaker John Boehner blasted right-wing lawmakers and groups as “false prophets” who “whip people into a frenzy” to make legislative demands that “are never going to happen.”
The Ohio Republican also declared on CBS’ Face the Nation Sunday that there won’t be a government shutdown this week, though he’s “sure” it will take Democratic votes to pass a temporary funding extension.
“The Bible says, beware of false prophets. And there are people out there spreading, you know, noise about how much can get done,” Boehner said.
“We got groups here in town, members of the House and Senate here in town, who whip people into a frenzy believing they can accomplish things they know — they know! — are never going to happen,” he added.
Charles Payne sees this as a direct jab at the TEA Party:

Marco Rubio Announces John Boehner’s Resignation At Values Voters Summit To Endless Standing Ovation
CHECK OUT THE STANDING OVATION WHEN IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE JOHN BOEHNER WAS RESIGNING.
It would appear that I wasn’t the only one cheering this morning when I heard the news … During this mornings Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) during his speech announced Speaker John Boehner was resigning from the House and the Conservatives in the crowd cheered with an endless standing ovation. The cheers that Boehner was stepping down were well earned as Boehner departs as least-popular speaker in three decades.
Rubio followed up the applause that Boehner was stepping down with the comment, “With all due respect to people who serve in government, it is important at this moment, with respect to him and the service he has provided to our country, it’s not about him, and I’m not here today to bash anyone, but the time has come to turn the page. The time has come to turn the page and allow a new generation of leadership in this country.” I can only hope the other establishment GOP House types understand this as none of us want you to take over the role of the Speaker. That means you Rep. Kevin McCarthy. The GOP party need a fresh start in both the House and the Senate. Those in leadership roles have done nothing and all need to go.
At the 36 second mark of the video is the money line, Speaker Boehner announced he will be resigning …
Conservative voters roared in a standing ovation Friday at the Values Voter Summit in Washington after Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) announced Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) plans to retire. Rubio, who is running for president, shared the news that broke just before his speech, working it into prepared remarks where he questioned why a Republican Congress isn’t “able to stop our country from sliding in the wrong direction.” “Just a few minutes ago, Speaker Boehner announced that he will be resigning,” Rubio said to thunderous applause. He told the crowd it is time for Republicans to “turn the page.” “With all due respect to people who serve in government — it is important at this moment, with respect to him and the service he has provided to our country — it’s not about him, and I’m not here today to bash anyone, but the time has come to turn the page.”

GOP Speaker of the House John Boehner Resigns Effective End of October … Good Riddance!!!
GOOD RIDDANCE TO THE MOST WORTHLESS, SPINELESS, INEFFECTIVE COWARD OF A REPUBLICAN SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE EVER!!!
Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner officially resigned today, effective the end of October 2015. All I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish. Boehner has been one of the most disappointing and worthless Speakers of the House, maybe ever. When he wasn’t crying, he was being owned by Barack Obama and the Democrats. John Boehner became the fave of useless, establishment Republican leadership who were elected to office to take on Obama and the Democrats and did nothing. as discussed at the Gateway Pundit, as Boehner left the Capitol on Thursday evening, he told two reporters that he had nothing left to accomplish after he brought Pope Francis to the Capitol. REALLY, YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING!!! The GOP was given the majority in the House and you were made speaker to defund Obamacare and stop Obama and the Democrats from continuing their damaging agenda … YOU DID NOTHING BUT MAKE EXCUSES.
The Republican party was provided the majority and told the American people they would stop the Obama spending and the Democrat’s agenda. The GOP made all the promises in the world to get elected and ran on that very message. THEY DID NOTHING. Boehner is nothing more than the face of useless GOP establishment leadership.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE FREEDOM CAUCUS.
On the Drudge report, the caption rad, One last cry for Boehner as he resigns from Congress. However, there were nothing but tears of joy from real Republicans and Conservatives who were tired of his pathetic leadership. Cry me a river and just leave.
John Boehner has had enough.
The embattled speaker, who fought off rumors of his political demise for years, announced Friday he would resign from Congress at the end of next month. The Ohio Republican, stunning his colleagues, said he didn’t want to put the House through a tumultuous vote on his speakership, and instead, he’ll leave Washington after 25 years and allow his party to pick a new successor in his absence.
Conservatives had been circling with threats of a fresh coup attempt — a showdown he felt he could win, but one he and his allies thought would do serious harm to the institution. But for all his grumbling over the down-and-out fights, the capitulations to rowdy right-wingers, and the “spineless” and “squish” insults, Boehner for five years had stuck it out, scoring a series of wins and maintaining his chain-smoking, merlot-swigging charm.
Boehner, who rose from bartender’s son to the most powerful man in Congress, was a classic mix of bravado and puddle of tears on Friday during a press conference announcing his decision to step aside at the end of October.
“Last night I started thinking about this, and I woke up. I said my prayers as I always do, and I decided, you know, today’s the day I’m going to do this. As simple as that,” Boehner said, veering from moist eyes to relief to whimsy, breaking into an impromptu rendition of “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” from the Disney movie “Song of the South.”
Boehner, 65, planned to leave Congress at the end of 2014, but returned because of the unexpected electoral defeat of his second-in-command, Eric Cantor. The feeling was that another agonizing round of internal GOP turmoil over his future “would do irreparable damage to the institution,” a Boehner aide said.
HEY SENATE GOP MAJORITY LEADER MITCH MC CONNELL, YOU’RE NEXT!!!
