On this day we would like to say a special thanks to some true American Hero’s. Thank you to our Veterans!

Thank you to the men and woman who have served in the Armed Forces and the sacrifices that both you and your families have made to protect out freedoms. Thank you to those that are presently fighting abroad. There are never enough things that can be said for the appreciation that we can bestow upon all of your for your sacrifice and duty to the United States.
So often we take the past and present service of our brave men and women of the Armed Forces for granted. Know, that these individuals fight for peace, fight for freedom and fight for the very liberties that you an I enjoy every day.
The next time you see a Veteran, please than them. Thanks for their service should never be relegated to just one day out of the year.

Florida Mom Cindy Hood Sends Special Halloween Trick or Treat Message to Child Sex Predators
Inspired by the recent abduction and murder of 7 year old Somer Renee Thompson, Florida mom sends a special message to those that would harm our most defenseless. A note to sex offenders, stay out of this neighborhood or enter at your own peril.
Kudos to the Lake County, FL mom this Halloween who sent a special message to would be child predators. Cindy Hood gets an extra bag of candy for her Halloween display of a bloody person hanging in a tree and a sign next to it that reads, “Child Molester…What He Deserves.”
Only 16% Like The Job Congress Is Doing … That’s Actually Up 2%
How does America feel about the job Congress is doing? Not good at all. Only 16% of Americans, according to a recent Rasmussen poll, think that Congress is doing a good job while 53% think they are doing a poor one. Believe it or not, 16% is actually up two from last month/
Just 16% of U.S. voters give Congress good or excellent ratings now that it’s back in action after a rough-and-tumble August recess, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
That’s up two points from last month but down seven points from the highest rating of 2009, reached in late May.
Who exactly are the 4% who think that Congress is doing an excellent job, their grandparents?

Joey Chestnut Consumes 59 1/2 Hot Dogs at Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest
It’s not the 4th of July if one does not watch the hot dog eating carnage known as Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island, NY. For the third year in a row, Joey Chestnut won the hot dog eating rights and the Mustard yellow champions belt.
59–1/2 hot dogs consumed in 10 minutes. Don’t forget the buns as well. One has to love the spectacle that this event has become. It is literally the Suer Bowl, World Series and World Cup of the competitive eating world. If you can watch it without getting ill, it is a must see event.

At some point during this July 4, 2009 when you are spending time with family and friends, attending a picnic, get together or family reunion, and watching fireworks this evening, please take the time to either read or contemplate what this day truly means and the words that were written in The Declaration of Independence July 4, 1776.
Do not ever forget that today is about Life, Liberty, Freedom and “We the People”. Representatives that acted by and for the people of the Colonies and a new nation at great sacrifice. I would ask of our politicians today … where are those brave men and women that cared more of the people, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness than they do about being reelected and usurping power?
We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare,
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
The Declaration of Independence …
When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Two hundred and thirty-three years ago today, a group of men published a document that changed the world forever — and transformed a series of colonies clinging to a shoreline into a nation that not only led people into freedom by example, but also by shedding our blood to liberate hundreds of millions around the world. We have made our mistakes, and continually strive to overcome our flaws.
