Madeleine McCann’s Parents Release Pumpkin Picture of Missing Daughter with Halloween Message … “We remain hopeful that she may still be found”

It is hard to believe that Madeleine McCann has been missing since May 3, 2007 …

The parents of missing Madeleine McCann have released a picture the other day of her dressed as a pumpkin with a special Halloween message, and urged people not to give up hope of finding her. The UK Mirror reported that last week, the Metropolitan Police cut the number of detectives working on her case from 29 to just four. However, her parents said they “remain hopeful” they will find her. That is all any parent can hang on to with a missing child is hope.

The parents of missing toddler Madeleine McCann have released a picture of her dressed as a pumpkin in a special Halloween message, as they urge people not to give up hope of finding her.

They posted the Halloween picture on the Official Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook page yesterday to remind the world that little Maddie still hasn’t been found.

The picture was posted alongside a short message that simply read “Happy Halloween”.

Madeleine went missing on holiday in Praia da Luiz, Portugal, on May 3 2007.

Statement from Maddy’s parents via Facebook:

We would like to thank all the staff from Operation Grange for the meticulous and painstaking work that they have carried out over the last four and a half years. The scale and difficulty of their task has never been in doubt. We are reassured that the investigation to find Madeleine has been significantly progressed and the MPS has a much clearer picture of the events in PDL leading up to Madeleine’s abduction in 2007.

Given that the review phase of the investigation is essentially completed, we fully understand the reasons why the team is being reduced. We would also like to thank the Home Office for continuing to support the investigation.

Whilst we do not know what happened to Madeleine, we remain hopeful that she may still be found given the ongoing lines of inquiry.

4th of July … Boston Pops Firework Spectacular on Boston’s Charles River Esplanade

Nothing says the 4th of July like the Boston Pops on Boston’s Charles River Esplanade. Enjoy the music and fireworks from the birthplace of where the American Revolution began.

In mere minutes they will be playing their famed rendition of The 1812 Overture. And of course, Stars and Stripes Forever. It is an American tradition like no other on the 4th in Boston, Mass. Honestly, if you have never gone to the Charles and seen the Boston Pops on July 4th, you need to add it to your bucket list. It is truly amazing and will swell you up with pride until tears flow.

On this July 4th, 2015 as We celebrate Our American Independence. Remember that as our own government, that is supposed to be of, by and for the People, attempts to make “We the People” dependent upon government. As we celebrate American Independence with family and friends always remember that Freedom, Liberty and Independence are never free and come at a great cost. The great sacrifice of Our Founding Fathers and those who followed to protect our way of life should never be forgotten. A special thanks to those who made it possible for the words scribed in The Declaration of Independence 1776. Because the politicians of today would have been incapable of doing so.

Remember the sacrifice and the bravery of so many who fought against the British crown to create an Independent country of the United States of America. And so many after gaining our independence who gave their lives to protect and maintain those freedoms. TODAY, it is “We the People’s” job to maintain American independence as stated in the Declaration of Independence, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” America, that means that government gets its power from the people, not the other way around. NEVER FORGET THAT.

What would the 4th of July be without this great song from  School House Rock from the Bicentennial year of 1976 … ‘The Shot Heard ‘Round the World’. Generation of children grew up watching this VIDEO of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Sadly today, School House Rock became school house liberal indoctrination. Take a good look at the lyrics below from this video for all-time. Would the PC crowd of today demand that the word rebel flag be stricken? Do you think it matters to them or they have any understanding that Our Founding Fathers, those at the Boston Tea party and those who fought for Independence were the rebels?

FEDS Warn of Possible ‘Lone Wolf’ Terrorists Threats Ahead of 4th of July

So what makes this 4th of July so special …

The authorities are saying that there has been no specific, credible threat; however, they are warning of possible lone wolf terrorist acts this 4th o July weekend. As reported at CNN, as Americans get ready for the holiday weekend, the Department of Homeland Security, FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center have issued a bulletin to law enforcement across the country warning of the possibility of an imminent strike against the United States. Intelligence agencies are watching as online chatter rises. But how is this different than past years? Could it possible be that ISIS, the so-called JV terrorist group as once stated by Barack Obama is now very active and successful in using social media to recruit “lone wolfs” to commit terror acts?

This 4th of July weekend, have fun, enjoy your time but be vigilant.

Terror Threat

Since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, American counterterrorism officials have increased security at national landmarks and large public events ahead of major holidays or significant anniversaries, and issued bulletins calling for increased vigilance by the public.

But this Fourth of July weekend has spawned particularly strong warnings about a potential attack as the federal authorities and national security experts say the United States is more susceptible now because of tactics chosen for recent terrorist strikes by the Islamic State.

Officials cite an increased effort by the Islamic State to galvanize its sympathizers in the United States and elsewhere since Memorial Day and during this Ramadan season to carry out acts of violence on their own — so-called lone-wolf attacks. Those potential plots by individuals are harder for the authorities to detect and disrupt, senior American officials say, and have led the F.B.I. to put more Americans under investigation for suspected ties to terrorist groups than at any point since Sept. 11.

At the same time, senior American officials acknowledge that, as with many past holidays and anniversaries, they know of no specific terror plot against targets in the United States. And while militants have said in previous years that they would like to pull off an attack on a major national holiday, there has not been a successful terrorist strike on American soil on a previous July 4 or similarly high-profile day.

One thing is for certain, if these radical Islamist terrorists ever attacked America on Independence Day, it would be their ultimate demise.
