Former interim DNC chair Donna Brazile appeared Wednesday on The Morning Joe to discuss her new book, Hacked, that is exposing the underbelly of the beast known as the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s dirty and unethical tricks. Donna Brazile was asked, why did she, Hillary, ultimately lose the 2016 presidential election. Brazile admitted that Hillary’s arrogance is what caused her to lose the election and that her campaign was like a cult. Brazile said, “Yes, Joe, it was a cult. I felt like it was a cult. You could not penetrate them.” Brazile went on to say that she’s a grassroot organizer yet didn’t have the resources to do her job because of Hillary’s control of the money.

Brazile has been like a one woman wrecking crew with exerts from her new book, exposing the dirty little secrets of the DNC and Hillary’s campaign.

From The Hill, why did former FBI Director James Comey changing the wording from his initial draft from “gross negligent” to “extremely careless?” Hmm, the more and more the skin is pealed off this onion, the more it appears that the fix was in when it came to Comey charging Hillary Clinton for her email scandal. No wonder so many of the FBI rank and file were up in arms when no charges were made.

An early draft of former FBI Director James Comey’s statement closing out the Hillary Clinton email case accused the former secretary of State of having been “grossly negligent” in handling classified information, newly reported memos to Congress show.

The tough language was changed to the much softer accusation that Clinton had been “extremely careless” in her handling of classified information when Comey announced in July 2016 there would be no charges against her.

The change is significant, since federal law states that gross negligence in handling the nation’s intelligence can be punished criminally with prison time or fines.

The draft, written weeks before the announcement of no charges, was described by multiple sources who saw the document both before and after it was sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee this past weekend.

“There is evidence to support a conclusion that Secretary Clinton, and others, used the email server in a manner that was grossly negligent with respect to the handling of classified information,” reads the statement, one of Comey’s earliest drafts from May 2, 2016.

The sources who had seen the early draft, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media, said the draft statement was subsequently changed in red-line edits on or around June 10 to conclude that the handling of 110 emails containing classified information that were transmitted by Clinton and her aides over her insecure personal email server was “extremely careless.”

The documents turned over to Congress do not indicate who recommended the key wording changes, the sources said.

Memos show that at least three top FBI officials were involved in helping Comey fashion and edit the statement, including Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, General Counsel James Baker and chief of staff Jim Rybicki.

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday evening sent a letter to current FBI Director Christopher Wray demanding the FBI identify who made the changes and why.

“Apparently, as of May 2016, then-Director Comey and other FBI officials believed the facts fit that gross negligence standard until later edits were made,” Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) wrote to Wray in the letter demanding more information.

Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign also signed its own joint fundraising agreement with the DNC.

In excerpts from “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House,” published in Politico, Brazile writes the DNC was rigged in Clinton’s favor because her campaign was largely financing the party early on in the presidential election.

Brazile’s comments rip a scab off a wound that plagued the Democratic Party during last year’s primary and charge the Clinton campaign with impropriety.

FBI Confidential Informant in Obama-era Russian Nuclear Bribery OK’d to Testify Before Congress by DOJ

It has been a long time in coming, the FBI informant with knowledge of Russian corruption and bribery in the Uranium One deal during the Obama administration has been given the okay to testify to Congress. According to Victoria Toensing, the attorney for the FBI informant, “the FBI has informed me that they are releasing my client from his [nondisclosure agreement] so that he can testify to Congress about his work uncovering the Russian nuclear bribery case and the efforts he witnessed by Moscow to gain influence with the Clinton’s in hopes of winning favorable uranium decisions from the Obama administration.” As reported at The Daily Caller, the Republican chairmen of two House committees announced Tuesday they’re launching a probe into the Uranium One deal and the Obama-era DOJ’s investigation of the deal.

DOJ allows FBI informant to testify to Congress

The Justice Department on Wednesday night released a former FBI informant from a confidentiality agreement, allowing him to testify before Congress about what he witnessed undercover about the Russian nuclear industry’s efforts to win favorable decisions during the Obama administration.

Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores confirmed to The Hill a deal had been reached clearing the informant to talk to Congress for the first time, nearly eight years after he first went undercover for the FBI.

“As of tonight, the Department of Justice has authorized the informant to disclose to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, as well as one member of each of their staffs, any information or documents he has concerning alleged corruption or bribery involving transactions in the uranium market, including but not limited to anything related to Vadim Mikerin, Rosatom, Tenex, Uranium One, or the Clinton Foundation,” she said.

The man’s lawyer, Victoria Toensing, told The Hill on Wednesday night that the FBI sent her a formal letter saying it no longer had any reason to ask the informant to keep his work confidential, clearing the way for him to potentially testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the House Intelligence Committee and the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

The committees are keen to learn what the informant knows about any Russian efforts to curry favor with Bill and Hillary Clinton, to win Obama administration approval for Moscow’s purchase of large uranium assets in the United States or to secure billions in new uranium sales contracts with American utilities.
