Barack Obama and Obamacare Coattails, Um I Mean Anchor … Public Policy Polling Says Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) Poll Lead for 2014 Election Gone
Hmm, so DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz thinks that Democrats can run on Obamacare as a positive thing, eh?
Not only does Obamacare not have coattails for Democrats, it is an anchor that threatens to bring down the Democrat party worse than the shellacking they suffered during the 2010 midterms. Democrats are trying to distance themselves from Obamacare, but they certainly did not have a problem voting for it in lockstep and ramming it down the throats of Americans in a partisan manner. HR 3590, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act 60-39, one of those Democrat votes was Kay Hagen. passed in the Senate However, actions have consequences. The latest Democrat to feel the backlash of the disastrous roll-out of Obamacare and Americans losing their insurance, even though Barack Obama promised they could keep it if they like it is incumbent Democrat Senator Kay Hagan of North Carolina. According to a recent poll from the Democrat polling firm PPP, Hagen’s lead for her 2014 senatorial election has all but vanished against all GOP candidates.
Incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) is near the top of national Republicans’ target list for 2014 — and a new poll shows her lead over her potential GOP challengers has all but evaporated.
Against state House Speaker Thom Tillis, Hagan leads by only 2 points, 44 percent to 42 percent, according to the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling. She leads the Rev. Mark Harris by 2 points as well, 43 percent to 41 percent, and nurse Heather Grant by 3 points, 43 percent to 40 percent.
Hagan trails physician Greg Brannon, the Rand Paul-endorsed candidate in the race, by 1 point: He leads 44 percent to 43 percent.
That’s a huge difference from PPP’s September poll, which gave Hagan leads of anywhere from 12 points to 17 points against all possible GOP challengers.
Hagan’s approval ratings are underwater in the poll: 49 percent of those surveyed disapprove of the job she’s doing, compared with 44 percent who approve.
The poll also suggests she could be suffering from the implementation of Obamacare: 69 percent of those surveyed said the law’s rollout has been unsuccessful so far, compared with 25 percent who say it’s been a success.
All of s sudden Sen. Kay Hagan is concerned for her political power and calls for probe of healthcare website as political support drops.
Now it would appear that the Democrats chickens are coming home to roost on their blind vote for Obamacare as none of them read the monstrous bill, instead they took Nancy Pelosi’s foolish advice that “we have to pass the bill to find out what is in it” (VIDEO). Hagen’s poll numbers are not only being affected by her underwater job approval numbers, Obama’s job approval numbers have cratered and the popularity of Obamacare and its implementation is at 69% unsuccessful. Keep in mind, those polled evenly voted for Obama and Romney in the 2012 presidential election.
Q1 Do you approve or disapprove of President Barack Obama’s job performance? 43% Approve … 53% Disapprove … 4% Not sure
Q2 Do you approve or disapprove of Senator Kay Hagan’s job performance? 44% Approve … 49% Disapprove … 7% Not sure
Q11 Do you approve or disapprove of the Affordable Care Act? 38% Approve … 48% Disapprove … 14% Not sure
Q12 Do you think the implementation of the Affordable Care Act so far has been very successful, somewhat successful, somewhat unsuccessful, very unsuccessful, or are you not sure? 4% Very successful … 21% Somewhat successful … 20% Somewhat unsuccessful … 49% Very unsuccessful … 7% Not sure
Q13 In the last presidential election, did you vote for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney? 47% Barack Obama … 47% Mitt Romney … 6% Someone else/Don’t remember
In 2014 there are 21 Democrat US Senators up for reelection, many of which are in Red/swing states. Those most in trouble have been clambering for Obama to fix the Obamacre train wreck as they fear for their political lives.

Democrat US Rep. Kurt Schrader (OR – 5th) Says “I Think the President Was Grossly Misleading to the American Public” on Obamacare … #You Lie
Grossly Misleading = LIE!!!
From The Weekly Standard, US Representative Kurt Schrader (OR-D) says that President Barack Onama was “Very misleading” when he said over and over and over the promise that you can keep your health care plan, if you like it. More Democrats try and distance themselves from Obamacare and not the website, Healthcare.gov, but the lies that were told to the People in order to get the law passed.
“I think the president was grossly misleading to the American public. I know right away as a veterinarian, I have my own business, that my policies got cancelled even before the Affordable Care Act. I know that I would change policies on a regular basis, trying to find the best deal for myself and my employees. But a lot of Americans, a lot of Oregonians, have stayed with the same policy for a number of years and are shocked that their policy got cancelled.
“So I think the president saying you could stay with it and not being honest that a lot of these policies were going to get cancelled was grossly misleading to the American public and is causing added stress and added strife as we go through a really difficult time with health care.”
Only About 40,000 Americans are Said to Have Signed Up for Obamacare Insurance Plans on HealthCare.Fail … WH To Inflate Enrollment Numbers
WHAT PART OF OBAMACARE ISN’T A FRAUD ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?
THUD … The WAPO is reporting that a meager 40,000 Americans are said to have signed up for Obamacare healthcare insurance plans through the beleaguered and “glitchy” website Healthcare.gov. This number does not include the 440,000 people have signed up for Medicaid through Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation. Hmm, looks like the Medicaid folks had no problem signing up for free healthcare. So 40,000 Americans have signed up for a plan where they may or may not receive subsidies and 440,000 have signed up for free healthcare paid by premium paying insured’s. Obamacare is setting up for an epic collapse.
Just how embarrassing is it going to be for Obama and how outraged are the American people going to be when they see so few signed up for Obamacare as opposed to the millions who have lost their healthcare coverage because their insurance policies were canceled due to Obamacare?
Roughly 40,000 Americans have signed up for private insurance through the flawed federal online insurance marketplace since it opened six weeks ago, according to two people with access to the figures.
That amount is a tiny fraction of the total projected enrollment for the 36 states where the federal government is running the online health-care exchange, indicating the slow start to the president’s initiative. The first concrete evidence of the popularity — and accessibility — of the new federal insurance exchange emerged as the White House has been preparing to release this week the first official tally of how many people have chosen coverage using the Web site, HealthCare.gov.
The figure of 40,000 disclosed Monday did not include Medicaid sign-ups. At least 440,000 people have signed up for Medicaid through the health-care initiative, according to Avalere Health, a consulting firm that has been tracking sign-ups. Budget forecasters have projected that in 2014 there will be a much more even balance between private insurance and Medicaid participants.
The story gets even worse, if possible. As opined at Weasel Zippers, in order to inflate what they know are embarrassing Obamacare enrollment numbers, the Obama White House will be counting people who have a plan sitting in their online shopping cart as being enrolled. UNREAL, only the federal government is allowed to get away with such fraud. Try overstating your sales numbers in the real world or with a publicly traded company to give the false image that you are more viable than you really are. You would wind up in handcuffs.
So Barack Obama Obama and Democrats lied about Obamacare in that you could keep your doctors and healthcare plan if you want to, they would lower the cost of healthcare and that it would be budget neutral. Now they are set to fabricate the number of people who have actually enrolled. But that is the Obama, Alynsky, Chicago way.

41 Million People Could Lose Their Insurance Plans Even if You Like Them & Forced Into Other Plans Because of Obamacare … What About the Employer Mandate?
OBAMA’S GREAT BIG LIE THAT HE NEVER THOUGHT WOULD COME TO LIGHT SO SOON …
President Barack Obama repeated over and over again to sell Obamacare, that narrowly passed along a one-sided, partisan Democrat vote ,“If you like your private health insurance plan, you can keep your plan. Period!” NOT EVEN CLOSE AMERICA. Obama and Democrats find themselves in the middle of a political healthcare firestorm as millions of insureds, who like their insurance, are being canceled from their current plans because of Obamacare. President Obama was forced to take to the airwaves and provide a half-hearted, lame apology, even though he and Democrats knew this would happen. During his faux-apology Obama continued the lie of those who would lose insurance. He claimed only 5% of the population in the individual market would be affected. Like some 15 million is some thing to sneeze at. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. What about the employer mandate? According to McClatchy, between 34 million to 52 million individuals could lose their insurance.
Reid, Obama & Pelosi … the clowns that rammed Obamacare down America’s throats
Even as President Barack Obama sold a new health care law in part by assuring Americans they would be able to keep their insurance plans, his administration knew that tens of millions of people actually could lose those their policies.
“If you like your private health insurance plan, you can keep your plan. Period,” Obama said as he pitched the plan, the unqualified promise he made repeatedly.
Yet advisers did say in 2010 that there were large caveats and that anyone whose insurance plan changed would lose the promised protection of being able to keep existing plans. And a report in 2010 said that as many as 69 percent of certain employer-based insurance plans would lose that protection, meaning as many as 41 million people could lose their plans even if they wanted to keep them and would be forced into other plans. Another 11 million who bought their own insurance also could lose their plans. Combined, as many as 52 million Americans could lose or have lost old insurance plans.
The lies continue from Barack Obama. Ever wonder why Barack Obama and Democrats “illegally” changed the Obamacare law so that the “employer” mandate would be delayed until after the 2014 elections? It was all about politics. Do you really think they did not now what was going to happen and individuals would be forced unto Obamacare plans? The only way Obamacare can work is for this to occur.
Obama insisted anew Thursday that the problem is limited to people who buy their own insurance. “We’re talking about 5 percent of the population who are in what’s called the individual market. They’re out there buying health insurance on their own,” he told NBC.
But a closer examination finds that the number of people who have plans changing, or have already changed, could be between 34 million to 52 million. That’s because many employer-provided insurance plans also could change, not just individually purchased insurance plans.
Administration officials decline to say how many employer-sponsored plans could change. But those numbers could be between 23 million to 41 million, based on a McClatchy analysis of estimates offered by the Department of Health and Human Services in June 2010.
So DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, do you still want to run on Obamacare as a positive in 2014, Hmm?
UPDATE I: And then there is the even more dire report from The Daily Caller where health care economist Christopher Conover, a research scholar in the Center for Health Policy & Inequalities Research at Duke University and an adjunct scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, says that if Obamacare is fully implemented, 68% of Americans with private health insurance will not be able to keep their plan or 189 million people.
“Bottom line: of the 189 million Americans with private health insurance coverage, I estimate that if Obamacare is fully implemented, at least 129 million (68 percent) will not be able to keep their previous health care plan either because they already have lost or will lose that coverage by the end of 2014,” he said in an email. ”But of these, ‘only’ the 18 to 50 million will literally lose coverage, i.e., have their plans entirely taken away. This includes 9.2-15.4 million in the non-group market and 9-35 million in the employer-based market. The rest will retain their old plans but have to pay higher rates for Obamacare-mandated bells and whistles.”
Barack Obama Apologizes For Americans Losing Their Health Care … But Not for Lying Over and Over to Them that They Could Keep Their Healthcare When He Knew
Now He’s Sorry?
Brenda Lee sings ‘I’m Sorry’ for Barack Obama … “I’m sorry, so sorry. That I was such a fool”
President Barack Obama was forced into saying he was sorry for some Americans losing their current healthcare plans because of Obamacare. Some? Some? Really, just some, how about 4.2 million and counting! Hmm, wasn’t it just the other day that Obama and his minions were saying, “what we said was you can keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law passed?” As Legal Insurrection opines, So today Obama is sorry” for making the promises he previously denied making. HUH, more lack of credibility or sincerity from an individual watching his presidency fall apart. Obviously, Obama has been told that his current set of spin is not working, his poll numbers are plummeting and Democrats facing elections are freaking out. But no where in his apology did Obama say he was sorry for purposely lying to “We the People”.

President Obama said Thursday that he is “sorry” that some Americans are losing their current health insurance plans as a result of the Affordable Care Act, despite his promise that no one would have to give up a health plan they liked.
“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,” he told NBC News in an exclusive interview at the White House.
“We’ve got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this.”
Obama’s comments come 10 days after NBC News’ Lisa Myers reported that the administration has known since the summer of 2010 that millions of Americans could lose their insurance under the law.
Obama has made repeated assurances that “if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan” with Obamacare.
Obama’s definition of “some”
YIKES, the liberal MSM is not buying Obama’s apology either as the WAPO writes, watch Obama, kinda, sorta apologize. They point out that unlike the Obamacare web site that is riddled with glitches and moronic code writing, something that was not intended to be a disaster … the elimination of individuals insurance plans was intended as it “is a feature, not a bug” of Obamacare.
President Obama is offering an apology to Americans who have received insurance cancellation notices–sort of.
What Obama isn’t offering is an apology for the cancellation notices themselves. Eliminating certain health plans from the market — ones that the White House thinks are too skimpy — is a feature, not a bug, of the Affordable Care Act. You can read more about that here in our FAQ on why about 7 million to 12 million health plans are being terminated under the Affordable Care Act.
HA, maybe The Lonely Conservative states is best … “Obama’s Really Sorry For That Law He Rammed Down Our Throats.”
