Police are searching for missing 8 year old Randle Barrow after performing a welfare check for Randle, who had not been to school for two day, on Saturday, December 14 at 4900 Alburta Road in Huntville, Alabama.When police officers got to the home, no one answered the door and they noticed that smoke was coming from the home. Upon entering the home firefighters found one female victim inside, who was transported to Huntsville Hospital with life threatening injuries. The woman later died. However, Randle Barrow was no where to be found.

Randle Barrow attends the School For Autistic Children. Randle had just recently been returned to his mother, he had been in the temporary custody of Demetrius Bell and his wife because of the mother’s health issues.
For several weeks Randle was in the temporary custody of Demetrius Bell and his wife. Randle’s mother, who is Bell’s good friend, voluntarily put her son in their care because of her health issues. ”The whole idea was when she got better, we would just return him to her care,” Bell says.
Just recently Randle’s mother asked for him back. Bell says in the days leading up to Saturday, she became harder and harder to reach.
Saturday morning, Bell got a phone call that something might be wrong. ”The director of the school that he attends, the School For Autistic Children, called us and told us she was concerned,” Bell says.

UPDATE I: The female victim in the fatal fire has been identified as 42 year old Delicia Lattice Barrow, the mother of Randle Barrow. Police are calling this a death investigation.
Police identified the woman killed in the fire as 42-year-old Delicia Lattice Barrow. Officers are searching for eight-year-old Randle Barrow, who police said is autistic.
Firefighters responded to the house and put the fire out. Police found Delicia Barrow inside the home. She was taken the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Police said Randle Barrow was not found inside the home and that they have not been able to locate him. Investigators are still taking pictures and searching throughout the home.

16 Year Old Autistic Girl Deanna Lynn Blanco Missing Since 8/9/13 in Phoenix, AZ (Update: Found Safe)
16 year old Deanna Lynn Blanca has been missing since Friday night, August 9, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. Deanna Lynn Blanca last was seen about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Bell Road and 7th Street in Phoenix. Police do not expect foul play; however, she has been diagnosed with Asperger and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes.

Deanna Lynn Blanca last was seen about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Bell Road and 7th Street in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department. She has been diagnosed with Asperger and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes.
Blanca has difficulty with her vision and hearing, and may appear confused or scared if located, police said.
She is described as 5 foot 10 inches, 145 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes, officials said. She last was seen wearing a black Puma shirt with a green skeleton on the front, blue jeans, and white and yellow Nike shoes.

After searching most of the day Sunday, Phoenix Police have located a 16-year-old girl with several medical conditions who was last seen on Friday.
Deanna Lynn Blanco was last seen Friday about 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East Bell Road in Phoenix. Police say that Deanna left home on foot after a heated conversation with some family members.
Officers and about 30 volunteers searched the area of 7th Street and Bell for her all day Sunday. Just before 9 p.m., police confirmed she was safe and had been staying at an area youth shelter.

11 year old Terry Dewayne Smith has been missing since Saturday night, July 6, 2013 in Menifee, California. According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Lisa McConnell, the 11 year old boy went missing on Saturday at 7:30 pm at his home in the 33000 block of Helen Lane; however, the police were not called to the home until Sunday morning. Terry Dewayne Smith is reported to have autism. His mother, Shauna Smith, discovered he was missing when she went into the bedroom to give Terry medication.

Deputies were dispatched at 10:33 a.m. Sunday to a home in the 33000 block of Helen Lane. They learned that Smith went missing on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., according to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Lisa McConnell.
A search for Terry turned up no clues. A bloodhound did not pick up his scent.
Smith is 4 feet 8 inches, weighs 76 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue basketball shorts.

UPDATE I: Authorities Search for Missing Autistic Boy in Menifee.
About 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, his mother, Shauna Smith, went out to play pool with some friends and left Terry with his older stepbrother. The pair was playing video games.
Shauna Smith checked in on them and thought they were asleep. In the morning, Shauna Smith discovered he was missing when she went into the bedroom to give Terry medication.
Authorities used a helicopter, bloodhounds and volunteers to search the area, but had not found him by Sunday night.

Authorities searching for a missing 11-year-old autistic boy cordoned off his Southern California home, but volunteers on Wednesday planned to search miles of surrounding desert in hopes of finding him alive.
TV news reports early Wednesday showed yellow crime scene tape around the semirural home of Terry Dewayne Smith Jr. in Menifee.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has not said whether foul play was suspected in his weekend disappearance. Calls to department representatives seeking comment were not immediately returned.

7 Year Old Autistic Boy Owen Black Missing Since 5/17/13 in Escambia County, FL (Update: Searches Continue for Missing Boy) (Update: Boy Found Dead in Water)
7 year old Owen Black has been missing since Friday afternoon at about 5 pm, May 17, 2013 in Escambia County, FL. Owen Black is autistic and was last seen in the area of the Needle Rush Point condominiums in the 17100 block of Perdido Key Drive. This number, 850-207-5498, has been established for groups wanting to help with the search effort to call. The Escambia Search and Rescue has set up a mobile command center in the back parking lot of the Happy Harbor, 29601 Perdido Beach Boulevard in Orange Beach. Owen Black, who is autistic, was last seen Friday in the area of the Need Rush Point condominiums in the 17100 block of Perdido Key Drive.
Owen was wearing a blue striped shirt and brown sweatpants.
He is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 45 pounds. Owen has short blondish brown hair and brown eyes.
UPDATE I: 8 yr-old autistic boy goes missing on Florida vacation.
Escambia County Sheriff’s officials said Owen Elliot Black was on the beaches of Perdido Key with his mother and wandered off on his own around 4 p.m. Friday. He has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a red and blue striped shirt and brown sweatpants.
Deputies and K-9 dogs trampled over sand dunes and searched in bushes, hoping Owen may be hiding because he was separated from his mother and was taught to avoid strangers.

An 8-year-old boy missing since Friday on Perdido Key has been found dead in the water, authorities on the scene confirm.
A crime scene has been set up on the beach behind Shipwatch Surf & Yacht Club on Perdido Key Drive (MAP).

At approximately 1303 CST our search for Owen Black is concluded.
A citizen in Perdido Key observed him in the water washing toward shore. An immediate response has determined that he succumbed to drowning. There are no indications of foul play; however the standard investigative and medical examiners protocols will apply.
We ask for the community and nation’s prayers for this family in mourning and our thanks are again extended to all law enforcement, military, State and Federal agencies as well as the hundreds of volunteers who responded to Owen’s call.”

Search Continues for Missing 9 Year Old Mikaela Lynch … Girl Spotted on Surveillance Video in Clearlake, CA (UPDATE: Mikaela Body Found in Creek)
The search continues for 9 year old Mikaela Lynch who went missing on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, 2013 while playing in the back yard of her parents vacation home in Clearlake, California. She has not been seen since. However, there is a new break in the case that may shed a positive light on the case. Mikaela Lynch, who has severe autism and is unable to speak, was captured on a neighbors surveillance video running up the street after. This has changed the focus of the search for year Mikaela Lynchl as is shows that the little girl did not cross the street and go into the water. Hopefully, she is hiding and scared and will soon be found.

New surveillance video also changed the focus of the search. Police said video from a neighbors surveillance camera shows Mikaela Lynch running up the street after she was last seen at the home on Sunday.
The video gives new hope to the search. Many worried that Mikaela went to the lake on a hot afternoon and her family says she does not know how to swim.
Missing 9-year-old girl spotted on surveillance video in Clearlake.
Clearlake Police Lt. Tim Celli tells KGO-TV on Tuesday that the video shows Mikaela Lynch running up the street after she was last seen at the home on Sunday. The video came from a neighbor’s surveillance camera.
Celli says the video eliminates the possibility that Mikaela went across the street and into the water. Authorities have changed their focus accordingly.
Home owners in the area are asked to check their property, sheds, outbuildings or any crawl spaces.

UPDATE I: There is sad, heartbreaking news to report in the case of missing Mikaela Lynch. The 9 year olds body was found in a creek deceased. Words cannot even describe the sorrow that I have for this little 9 year old autistic girl who was so dependent on adults. REST IN PEACE MIKAELA.
Clearlake police announced on Wednesday that they had found the body of a 9-year-old girl in a creek near her parent’s vacation home.
The grim discovery in Cache Creek had been what Mikaela Lynch’s parents had dreaded. Their daughter, who has autism and the mental capacity of a 1-year-old girl, had wandered off on Sunday afternoon and hadn’t been seen since.
“Unfortunately, we have a conclusion to the search,” said Clearlake Police Chief Craig Clausen.
