Poll: Republicans Gov. Brian Sandoval Beats Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid 53% to 43% in Hypothetical 2016 Nevada Senate Matchup
ARE HARRY REID’S DAYS IN THE US SENATE NUMBERED?
In a recent Harper Polling survey, the poll shows that in a hypothetical match 2016 match-up for the US Senate for Nevada Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval handily defeat Democrat Majority Leader Harry Reid by 10 points, 53% to 43%. The poll also showed that Gov. Sandoval destroys Reid among independents, 65%-28%. OUCH. Have the citizens of Nevada finally grown weary of Dingy Harry? One has to wonder whether the people of Nevada will have to wait until 2016 to rid themselves of Reid. If the GOP does not find a way to blow it, Republicans could take back the Senate in 2014 and Reid would lose is Majority Leader role. One would then have to ponder whether 74 year old Reid would stay in the Senate.

Gov. Brian Sandoval leads Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid by 10 percentage points in a hypothetical 2016 U.S. Senate matchup, according to a new poll that represents the first public release of results in this potential race.
The survey, conducted by Harper Polling earlier this week, also shows, as other surveys do, Sandoval cruising to re-election (56-34) over Bob Goodman. The robo-survey of 602 statewide voters has a margin of error of 4 percent.
Sandoval crushes Reid among independents, 65-28. Reid’s 55 percent unfavorable rating is all but fatal — you know, just as it was in 2010.
The NRO reminds us that Harry Reid has proven to be resilient against past challengers like in 2010 when Reid seemed vulnerable, but eventually defeated Republican candidate Sharron Angle by nearly 6 percentage points. However, popular Governor Brian Sandoval is not Sharron Angle. But if it does get to a 2016 Senate race between Sandoval and Reid and the polling is still as one sided toward the Nevada Governor, look for Reid to retire, he will be 80, rather than losing in an embarrassing swan song.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie Calls Obamacare a “Failure on a Whole Number of Levels” and Should be Repealed
Cristie is a little late to the party … Tell us something we have not known for years.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie while speaking to reporters at the National Governors Association on Saturday that Obamacare is a “failure on a whole number of levels” and that it should be repealed. Wow really, like we did not know that already and have known since it was initially passed. What, is this Christie trying to suck up to the GOP base? Sorry Krispy Kreme, but you are nothing more than a RINO and the slobber-fest between you and Obama back in 2012 cannot be undone. You may be ahead in New Hampshire 2016 GOP Presidential polls, but who else would be but a RINO.
Christie will never be able to live this picture down in a GOP primary
In what could be the latest move toward a 2016 presidential bid, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) offered a wide-ranging critique of President Obama’s domestic and foreign policies.
Speaking to reporters at the National Governors Association on Saturday, Christie labeled Obamacare, the administration’s signature legislation, a “failure on a whole number of levels” and said it should be repealed.
“But has to be repeal and replace with what. It can’t just be about repeal,” Christie told the audience. “What I’ve said before is, what Republicans need to be doing is putting forth alternatives for what should be a better healthcare system.”
If the Republicans want to lose another Presidential election, then nominate another RINO like Chris Christie or Jeb Bush.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) Wins CPAC Presidential Straw Poll in a Landslide … 2nd Sen. Ted Cuz (TX), 3rd Ben Carson
Look for Democrats and their liberal MSM minions to go after the rising new anti-establishment star of the Conservative movement, Rand Paul.
Rand Paul wins the presidential straw poll at CPAC going away. Paul received 31% of the vote, while his fellow anti-establishment Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz finished in second place with 11%. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who came to prominence when he let America and Barack Obama know what he felt about Obamacare at the 2013 National Prayers Breakfast, finished third with 9%. Paul is a very dangerous and formidable opponent for Democrats as he energizes the GOP base and brings in the young and libertarian vote.
Rand Paul handily won the presidential straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference Saturday, one gauge of the Republican base’s mood less than two years before the 2016 primary season kicks off.
The Kentucky senator received 31 percent, far ahead of second place Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who received 11 percent. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson finished third with 9 percent, ahead of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who received 8 percent.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum tied for fifth place, with 7 percent.
Um, Chris Christie who? The Republican that the media just drools over, including Fox News, finished distant 4th.
- Sen. Rand Paul – KY (31%) – Although I do not agree with all of his policies, Paul is a Conservative and breath of fresh air from the power-elite GOP establishment.
- Sen. Ted Cruz – TX (11%) – A Conservative rock star, who if he can run, would make a great President and follow the US Constitution.
- Neurosurgeon Ben Carson (9%) – From out of nowhere Carson has taken the Conservatives by storm. I would vote for Ben in a heartbeat.
- Gov. Chris Cristie – NJ (8%) – RINO has no chance of winning GOP primary if Republicans ever want to be anything more than Democrat-light.
- Gov. Scott Walker – WI (7%) – A solid GOP governor who will one day be a president.
- Former Sen Rick Santorum – PA (7%)
- Sen. Marco Rubio – FL (6%) – His stance on immigration amnesty has made Rubio toast with the base.
- Rep. Paul Ryan – WI (3%) – The base not enamored with establishment Republican and 2012 VP nominee.
- Gov. Rick Perry – TX (3%) – His performance in the 2012 GOP primaries may be too much to overcome.
Four others pulled 2%: Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Rand Paul energizes the faithful at 2014 CPAC.
While other addresses at this year’s CPAC focused on specific policies and red-meat issues like gay marriage and ObamaCare, Paul spoke in broad metaphorical terms of the need to “stand together for liberty.”
“It isn’t good enough to pick the lesser of two evils,” he said. “We must elect men of principle and conviction and action who will lead us back to greatness. There is a great and tumultuous battle underway, not for the future of the Republican Party, but for the future of the country.”
Paul framed the libertarian-ideas that have gained prominence within the party in recent years in historical terms, positioning his values as descending from the nation’s Founding Fathers. Paul name-dropped foundational American thinkers ranging from Daniel Webster to John Adams, James Madison to Montesquieu, but also quoted Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters.
One of his biggest applause lines seemed specifically geared toward the digital generation that has special resonance in the wake of the ongoing debate over privacy and NSA surveillance.
“I believe what you do on your cellphone is none of their damn business,” he said, to extended cheers from the crowd.
Rand Paul released the following statement touting his win:
“The fight for liberty continues, and we must continue to stand up and say: We’re free and no one, no matter how well-intentioned, will take our freedoms from us,” he said. “Together we will stand up for the Constitution. Together we will fight for what is right. Thank you, and onwards to victory.
UT/TT Poll: Republican Greg Abbott Has 11 Point Lead Over Democrat Wendy Davis
Liberal Democrats, Don’t Mess With Texas …
According to a recent UT/TT poll, Republican candidate Greg Abbott has a large lead over Democrat Wendy Davis for the race for the Texas governor. Abbott widened his lead in the Texas gubernatorial race to 11 point over Davis; however, look for this lead to get much higher as it appears from polling data that the GOP is much more energized to vote in Texas than do Democrats. Also, the more that Texans learn of Davis’ extreme positions, the more they will run away.
After what are shaping up to be easy primary wins in March for the leading gubernatorial candidates, Republican Greg Abbott starts the general election race for governor with an 11-point lead over Democrat Wendy Davis, according to the latest University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll.
Meanwhile, several statewide races on the Republican primary ballot — for lieutenant governor, attorney general and comptroller — appear headed for May runoffs. None of the leaders in those races looks close to the 50 percent support they would need to win next month’s primary outright.

#You Lie … New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Says He Was Misunderstood when He Said Conservatives “Have No Place in the State of New York”
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should try out for the men’s US Olympic gymnastic team with the back-bending, back-flips and contortions he went through trying to spin what he originally said, in that Conservatives have no place in the state of New York.
New York Gov. Cuomo is now saying he was misunderstood. Of course you were governor, because some how you are the victim here. Now Cuomo is back-peddling off his initial comments on WCNY and trying to say, I wasn’t telling anyone to leave … “My position is the exact opposite, right? We have all sorts of opinions in this state. We have people all along the spectrum, and it’s one of the things that makes New York special.” Yeah, that’s the ticket. And if you like your health insurance and doctor, you can keep your health insurance, Period! Cuomo said specifically, that there was “no place” in New York state for “extreme” conservatives who are pro-life and support the Second Amendment.
New York and America got a peak into what Go. Andrew Cuomo truly thinks and believes when it comes to anyone who does not agree with his liberal view point and agenda. Because liberals are oh so tolerant. Just curious, where was the MSM with the reporting of this political intolerance? Imagine if a Republican had said the same?
Watch and listen to the VIDEO below of what Cuomo said and decide for yourself.
People misunderstood New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo when he said conservatives “have no place in the state of New York,” the Democratic governor explained Wednesday.
“I was not saying anyone should leave the state, right? And anyone who heard the comments knows that’s not what I was saying,” Cuomo said when asked about his comments at a press conference. “To the extent people want to have a political dialogue, that’s what it is.”
“I wasn’t saying anyone should leave the state,” Cuomo explained Wednesday. “My position is the exact opposite, right? We have all sorts of opinions in this state. We have people all along the spectrum, and it’s one of the things that makes New York special.”
Cuomo is up for reelection this year.
Why can’t politicians just admit they made a mistake instead of just further showing that they are lying sacks of bovine scatology?
