Former Democrat NM Gov. Bill Richardson Says, Cuban-American Sen. Ted Cruz (TX-R) Shouldn’t Be Defined As a “Hispanic”
More Double Standard, Hypocrisy from the Democrat Party …
So let’s get this straight, former Democratic New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson made himself God and is going to define what is and what is not a Hispanic and this dude has the cojones that Cruz is none civil and rude. REALLY? So because Senator Ted Cruz (TX-R) does not tow the liberal, Democrat party line, he is not a “Hispanic”? Does Richardson actually realize just how ignorant that sounds? So in the Democrat world of plantation politics, or in this case “Hacienda” politics, one has to be a pro-illegal immigration individual in order to be considered a Hispanic. So much for Hispanics having freedom of thought and opinion. How absolutely offensive. Hispanics like Cruz represent a clear and present danger that a voter block that is predominantly Democrat might actually be greater represented by Cruz. Ted Cruz to Hispanics is interchangeable with Sarah Palin for woman and Dr. Benjamin Carson for blacks. Democrats just cannot accept a world where any of their voting blocks may actually have independent thought.
“I’m not a fan. I know [Ted Cruz is] sort of the Republican latest flavor. He’s articulate. He seems to be charismatic, but I don’t like his politics. I think he introduces a measure of incivility in the political process. Insulting people is not the way to go. But I guess he’s a force in the Republican political system, but I’m not a fan.”
ABC News: Do you think he represents most Hispanics with his politics?
“No, no. He’s anti-immigration. Almost every Hispanic in the country wants to see immigration reform. No, I don’t think he should be defined as a Hispanic. He’s a politician from Texas. A conservative state. And I respect Texas’ choice. But what I don’t like is… when you try to get things done, it’s okay to be strong and state your views, your ideology. But I’ve seen him demean the office, be rude to other senators, not be part of, I think, the civility that is really needed in Washington.”
Fast-forward to 2:15 to get to the Ted Cruz comments as the beginning of this VIDEO is a yawner
It is actually reprehensible that a Democrat could think that they could define another because they just happen to not match in lockstep with them. Simply disgusting.

Outrage After Dem Party Leader Insult Nikki Haley’s Indian Heritage … Says They’ll Send GOP Governor Nicki Haley “Back to Wherever the Hell She Came From” (Update: Harpootilan Defends Comment)
Talk about your double standards … Who knew the Democrat Chairman in South Carolina was a “birther”?
Republicans are outraged after South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Dick Harpootilan’s racist attack against Indian-American Governor Nicki Haley. The SC Democrat Party leader told supports at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center is Columbia, SC that they will send “Nikki Haley back to wherever the hell she came from.” Really Mr.Harpootilan, just where exactly is that, Gov. Haley was born in the USA. NikkinHaley was born Nimrata Nikki Randhawa in Bamberg, South Carolina, on January 20, 1972, to an Indian Sikh family. Imagine that, these are the same people who call those who question Barack Obama’s birth certificate and where he was born. Talk about your double standards? Its perfectly ok for Democrats to make racist comments. Where is the MSM outrage? Oh that’s right, Nikki Haley is a Republican.
Conservatives are outraged after a Democrat in South Carolina allegedly insulted Republican Gov. Nikki Haley’s Indian heritage at a party gathering in Columbia on Friday.
The state’s Democratic Party Chairman, Dick Harpootlian, is believed to have said the party will take on the Conservative in the next gubernatorial race and send ‘Nikki Haley back to wherever the hell she came from.’
Gov. Haley was born in the U.S. but her parents are from India.
Yahoo political reporter Chris Moody tweeted on Friday that Mr Harpootlian made the comment, in support of Democrat challenger Vince Sheheen, who has declared he will run for governor.
UPDATE I: Democratic South Carolina chair Harpootilan’s defends Nikki Haley “racist” barb.
Please, had any such comment been made against Barack Obama or an individual of color who was a Democrat, everyone in the media, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be crying foul and the race card. Powerline reminds us of the past vicious comments that Harpootilan made against Nikki Haley and was allowed to get away with.
Harpootlian, a longtime Democratic figure who has a history of using harsh rhetoric, made the comments at the party’s Jefferson-Jackson dinner just moments before Vice-President Joe Biden took the stage.
Asked what he meant by comment, Harpootlian wrote in an email: “Lexington County.”
Before being elected governor in 2010, Haley lived in the suburban Columbia county and represented the area in the state House.
As to whether he thought the comment could be seen as touching on her race and parents’ immigrant status, Harpootlian responded: “No, she was born in Bamberg [South Carolina] and lived in Lexington. Anybody implying anything different is attempting to feign insult.”

Two Young GOP Superstars Finish One, Two … Rand Paul wins CPAC 2013 Straw Poll with 25%, Marco Rubio Places Second at 23%
THIS TIME THE CPAC STRAW POLL JUST MIGHT HAVE CORRECTLY PICKED THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES …
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul won the CPAC 2013 straw poll with 25% of the vote. Florida Senator Marco Rubio finished a close second at 23%. Nearly 3,000 votes were cast by attendees at the three day conference held at a hotel just outside of Washington, DC in which the straw poll is considered one way to gauge where the conservative base stands on potential Republican nominees. Rand Paul had earlier wowed the crowd at CPAC.
Marco Rubio, lft. – Rand Paul, rt.
Although it is far too premature to determine a front runner for the GOP for the 2016 Presidential election, what is apparent is that the two young Turk superstars of the Republican party were at the forefront of this straw poll and have conservatives support. Sen. Rand Paul became a conservative hero with his recent 13 hour filibuster where he took Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama head on with the “Drone” issue. Rand Paul make Holder and Obama blink. Although a CPAC straw poll does not determine an eventual GOP presidential nominee, what makes this much, much different is that the two straw poll winners, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, are both cross-over candidates which the LEFT and the MSM are going to have a hard time calling right-wing extremists.
Sen. Rand Paul won the 2013 Washington Times-CPAC presidential preference straw poll Saturday, and Sen. Marco Rubio was a close second, easily outdistancing the rest of the field and signaling the rise of a new generation of conservative leaders who will take the Republican Party into the 2016 election.
Mr. Paul won 25 percent of the vote, and Mr. Rubio collected 23 percent. Former Sen. Rick Santorum was third with just 8 percent, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie — who was not invited to speak at the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference — was next with 7 percent, and Rep. Paul D. Ryan, the GOP’s vice presidential nominee last year, was fifth with 6 percent
The full poll results can be found here:
Paul — 25
Rubio – 23
Santorum – 8
Christie – 7
Paul Ryan – 6
Scott Walker – 5
Ben Carson – 4
Ted Cruz – 4
Bobby Jindal – 3
Sarah Palin – 3
Other – 14
Undecided – 1
Also, look for big things in the future from other Conservative superstars Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. The GOP has a deep bench for 2016.
A note to the 8% who voted for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was not invited to speak at the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference, he is no conservative and the GOP does not need another RINO running for office in the line of other failed GOP candidates like John McCain and Mitt Romney. The GOP needs to find what it stands for and a messenger to the people who can relay that message to We the People.

South Dakota First State in US to Allow Teachers to Carry Guns in School to Protect Children
Finally, a law that actually allows for the protection of school children … Reading, Writing and Revolvers.
South Dakota has become the first state in the Nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job. The bill was signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. The law is in response to the call to arms to protect school children following the Newtown, CT Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting that left 20 dead. What better way to protect innocent children from the Adam Lanza’s of the world than taking away ”gun free zones”. As the Right Wing News opines, such places are considered easy pickings by those crazoids who are hell bent on mass murder and taking out as many as possible before they take their own life. This law specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school. Protecting children in schools is not about taking law-abiding citizens Second Amendment rights away, it’s about a show of force against those that would cause harm to innocents. Why would a crazed killer attack a school, a movie theater or a mall, because they are gun free zones. Create a barrier or perception that they are not gun free and a cowardly killer would think twice. That, or they will be gunned down before too much damage is done.
South Dakota became the first state in the nation to enact a law explicitly authorizing school employees to carry guns on the job, under a measure signed into law on Friday by Gov. Dennis Daugaard. Several other states already have provisions in their laws — or no legal restrictions — that make it possible for teachers to possess guns in the classroom. In fact, a handful of school districts nationwide do have teachers who carry firearms. But South Dakota is the only known state with a statute that specifically authorizes teachers to possess a firearm in a K-12 school, according to Lauren Heintz, a research analyst at the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Representative Scott Craig, a freshman Republican in the South Dakota House who sponsored the bill, said he hoped the measure would shift the country’s discourse on school safety.
“Given the national attention to safety in schools, specifically in response to tragedies like in Connecticut, this is huge,” he said. He added that, hopefully, “dominoes will start to fall, people will see it’s reasonable, it’s safer than they think, it’s proactive and it’s preventive.”
So Punks, do ya feel lucky trying to target a school in South Dakota?
Gov. Chris Christie Slams NRA: “Reprehensible” For “Dragging People’s Children” Into Gun Debate But Fails to Mention Liberal Hypocrisy or Obama Using Children as Props
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie might as well change political party affiliations now as there is no way this Judas will ever get a GOP presidential nomination.
First Gov. Chris Christie (NJ-R) had a “bromance” with President Barack Obama during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and now Christie calls foul on the NRA for dragging people’s children into the gun debate. HUH? Following the NRA’s president’s comment that all children should be protected in their schools by armed guards or police, he and the NRA were mocked and ridiculed by the liberal media, Democrats and Barack Obama. This occurring as the very people criticizing the NRA for their comments had their children protected by guns. And no, not all of the children are protected by law by the secret service.
However, all Christie can find to criticize is the NRA bring children into the gun debate. There was no comment on Barack Obama using children as props as he came out with his anti-US Constitution, anti-2nd Amendment executive orders on gun control. Who brought “children” into the debate Gov. Christie? One can say that it was the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooter who did so. That being said, political hypocrites do not get to silence others as they protect their children and leave the tax paying publics children to the wolves.
Mediaite reported:
“I think any of us who are public figures, you see that kind of ad and you cringe,” Christie said on Thursday at a news conference in Trenton. “I’m a father who is a public figure, who has four children and my children had no choice realistically in what I decided to do with my career and what affect that has had on their lives.”
“Don’t be dragging people’s children into this,” he added. “It’s wrong and I think it demeans them and it makes them less of a valid trusted source of information on the real issues that confront this debate.”
Christie has become a complete disappointment.
