Barack Obama to Hispanics: We Won’t Deport your ‘ILLEGAL’ Relatives Because You Enroll in ObamaCare … Rep. Joe Wilson (SC-R) Was Right, #You Lie

THE LIAR IN CHIEF … when will it be considered a crime, not to enforce the law?

Or in other words, IF YOU LIKE YOUR ILLEGAL RELATIVES IN THE UNITED STATES, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR ILLEGAL RELATIVES IN AMERICA, PERIOD!

On Tuesday President Obama pandered to Hispanics in yet another attempt to shill Obamacare and dispel their fears that if they signed up for his signature piece of legislation, that their illegal relatives in the US would be deported. HEY, THERE IS AN IDEA. Obama said, “You know, you will qualify, you know, regardless of what your family’s status is. So, you know, people should not hold back just because they’re in a mixed-family status.” Um, what the hell is “mixed-family status”? YOU MEAN ILLEGALS!!! One again we are witness to a lawless president only supporting and enforcing the laws he likes. So is Obama saying that illegals can be signed up for Obamacare with no ramifications?

YOU LIE!!! Rep. Joe Wilson Calls Obama A Liar During Address … he was correct!

Remember when Obama said at the 2009 STOTU,  “the reforms I am proposing would not apply to those that are here illegally.”

President Obama on Tuesday sought to assure legal immigrants that they can sign up for ObamaCare without worrying that “the immigration people” will come for family members who are in the country illegally.

In an interview with Univision Deportes, a Spanish-language sports radio show, Obama said immigration officials won’t have access to the personal information that consumers provide when signing up for healthcare on the new exchanges.

“Well, the main thing for people to know is that any information you get, you know, asked with respect to buying insurance, does not have anything to do with … the rules governing immigration,” Obama said. “And you know, you can qualify if you’re a legal resident, if you are … legally present in the United States.

“You know, if you have a family where some people are citizens or legally here, and others are not documented, the immigration people will never get that information.”

My first question is, WHY NOT? Is our government not supposed to protect the US Constitution and our borders? Would it not be a natural action of law enforcement to take this information and find out who is in the country illegally? But it is only okay for the IRS to harass the Tea Party and not go after illegals. Remember, Obamacare, the IRS and the Treasury Department are incestuously tied.

So lets understand this, Obama tells Hispanics to enroll in the Affordable Care Act, promising that their private information will not be used by “the immigration people” to track down family members who are in the country illegally, but when it comes to law abiding legal Americans, the NSA tracks our every move, word, cell phone conversation, email, social media posting and tweet? Since Obamacare is tied directly to the IRS and the IRS to the Treasury Department, how is it that only Hispanics information is private, but legal Americans is not!!!

Hey what’s next … turning the other way on Muslim terrorists who want to sign up for Obamacare? What about an early release for prisoners so they can sign up for Obamacare? Heck, let’s just let anyone in Mexico to sign up, border, way border!

2016 Presidential Thoughts, RUN BERNIE , RUN … Vermont Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders Says He’d Make a Better President Than Hillary Clinton

RUN BERNIE … RUN!!! WILL HILLARY HAVE A CHALLENGE FROM THE LEFT?

In an interview with Time, the senator from the Socialist Republic of Vermont, Bernie Sander (VT-IS), had much to say on a wide range of issues like the legalization of marijuana, social security, and Barack Obama’s job as president; however, the biggest news was when Sanders said that he would make a better president than Hillary Clinton. When asked who would make a better president, Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, he said … Bernie Sanders. Will the Independent socialist, who caucuses with Democrats in the Senate be the thorn in Hillary’s 2016 presidential election side? The Independent Socialist Senator said he “liked Hilliary” and she is a “very, very intelligent person”. However, Sanders said there needs to be a leader “to wage a political revolution in this country which brings millions of people into the political process to stand up and fighting for their rights in a way that we have not seen right now,” and Hillary Clinton was not the leader of that movement.

Bernie Sanders

Q. Who do you think would make a better President, Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders?

Bernie Sanders. So you’re asking your question more direct. [Laughter] And I think in this particular moment when the problems facing this country are so severe, when we have seen class warfare being waged by the billionaires against the working families of America, when we have seen the billionaire class use its money in an unprecedented way for its political purposes to let more right wing extremists, I think we need people in leadership roles in the House and the Senate and governors’ chairs, in the White House, who are prepared to stand up and say, ‘You know what? This country belongs to all of the people: the waiters and the waitresses who are trying to make it on low incomes, they have a right to see their kids go to college and all people, that the United States is going to join the rest of the industrialized world in guaranteed health care to all people as a right and not any longer be the only country, major country on earth that does not guarantee that right, that all kids regardless of income have the right to a college education, that we need a tax system which in fact makes it very clear that the wealthy and large corporations are going to start paying their fare share of taxes, that we’re going to have real campaign finance reform so that the Koch brothers and other billionaires cannot buy elections, that we’re going to overturn Citizens United.’ Do you think that’s Hillary Clinton’s agenda? I don’t think so.

Hillary_Clinton_What difference

There is no truth to the rumor that when asked about a Sanders 2016 presidential run, Hillary said … What difference does it make!

But is Sanders really willing to run for president? More importantly as Liberland asks,” The big question is whether Sanders runs as an independent, which he is, or as a Democrat, a party with which he caucuses, but with which he many differences.” If Sanders runs as either, it will be problematic for Hillary Clinton and Democrats. If Sanders runs in the Democrat primary, Hillary will be forced to move to the LEFT to attract the base.If Sanders runs as an Independent in the general election, he will siphon the far Left vote from an establishment Hillary Clinton. We say Run Bernie, Run!!!

Personally, I agree with 0.000527% of Bernie Sanders’ agenda; however, I will give him his due and that he is an unabashed, self-proclaimed socialist. Because he stands by his beliefs and policies, no matter how wrong I think they might be, I give him kudos for standing by his socialist principles. However, after saying what he did about the need for a political revolution and Hillary not being the standard bearer of that movement, I would cry foul and bullsh*t if now Sanders did not run and instead sat back and got in line behind Hillary Clinton like a good establishment Democrat.

The reality is, these days Bernie Sanders probably represents more of what the Democrats are all about these days than Hillary Clinton. Vermont don’t stop there, let’s add former Green Mountain Gov. Howard Dean back for another run as well … YEEHAAA!!!

Tea Party Response to Obama’s SOTU from Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) … Calls Obamacare an “Inequality Godzilla.” that Has Robbed Americans of Their Insurance, Doctore, Wages and Jobs

I hate to say we told you so America, but we told you so …

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) provided the Tea Party response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address blamed big Democrat, progressive, liberal government for the problems that Americans face and no greater example of out of control, over-reaching, over-spending and over-stated than the presidents signature piece of legislation, Obamacare. Lee referred to Obamacare as an “Inequality Godzilla, that has robbed working families of their insurance, their doctors, their wages and their jobs.” Kudos to Senator Lee for also placing blame at the hands of establishment Republicans as well for the problems we face as he stated, “they can be just as out-of-touch as the Democratic Establishment.”

“This inequality crisis presents itself in three principal forms,” Lee (R-Utah) said. “Immobility among the poor, who are being trapped in poverty by big-government programs; insecurity in the middle class, where families are struggling just to get ahead, and they can’t seem to get ahead; and cronyist privilege at the top, where political and economic insiders twist the immense power of the federal government to profit at the expense of everyone else.”

CNN:

“Obamacare – all by itself – is an inequality Godzilla that has robbed working families of their insurance, their doctors, their wages and their jobs,” Lee said. “Many Americans are now seeing why some of us fought so hard to stop this train-wreck over the last four years.”

“I believe we need to do what Americans have always done – come together and press for positive change. Protesting against dysfunctional government is a great American tradition, going back to the original Tea Party in Boston, about 240 years ago,” Lee said. “Americans have a natural instinct to stand up and speak out when they know something is wrong. … Unfortunately, in recent years, we have had no choice but to engage in a number of protests against our current president’s Washington-centered agenda.”

The truth of the matter is that income inequality has risen under Barack Obama.

Gallup: 65% of Americans Dissatisfied With the Size and Power of the Federal Government … Americans Fed Up with Obama and Big Govt Liberalism

According to the most recent Gallup poll, not only are an overwhelming number of Americans dissatisfied with how the US federal government works, they are also extremely dissatisfied with the size and the power of the government as well.  Two-thirds of Americans, or  66%,  are unhappy with the size and power of the federal government. This is a direct repudiation of liberalism and Nanny state, Big government under Barack Obama.  No greater disapproval of the people of Big government and federal powers run amok are scene by the very existence of Obamacare, its failed roll-out and failed promises. Of course there is also the IRS and NSA scandals that Americans see as the feds having far too much power as well.

Chart via Gallup

Sixty-five percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the nation’s system of government and how well it works, the highest percentage in Gallup’s trend since 2001. Dissatisfaction is up five points since last year, and has edged above the previous high from 2012 (64%).

One reason Americans are dissatisfied with how the government system is working is that they believe it is too big and powerful. Two-thirds of Americans (66%) are unhappy with the size and power of the federal government. These views potentially hamper President Barack Obama’s ability to propose large-scale government solutions in his State of the Union speech next week. However, this problem is not a new one for the president. Roughly two-thirds of Americans have expressed this view consistently since at least 2011, after the measure jumped a full 10 points between 2008 and 2011.

I doubt whether Americans want a different form of government like a monarchy or socialism, what they want is a competent and effective Republic in the manner in how Our Founding Father’s envisioned. Americans do not want an elitist government class who are out of touch with the people. As stated at The Politico, 53% of registered voters in a Quinnipiac poll do not believe that the Barack Obama administration has been competent in general.

American voters give President Obama a negative 40 – 54 percent approval rating, compared to 41 – 53 percent January 8, and 38 – 57 percent December 10, indications that his plunge has leveled off.

But voters give Obama his lowest grades for their top priorities:

Negative 39 – 56 percent for his handling of the economy;
Negative 36 – 59 percent for his handling of healthcare;
Positive 48 – 41 percent for handling terrorism;
Negative 40 – 49 percent for foreign policy;
Negative 39 – 47 percent for handling Iran.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2014 … A Dream that All Can Embrace … “Will One Day Live in a Nation Where They Will not be Judged by the Color of their Skin but by the Content of their Character”

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY – 2014.

On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day let us all reflect on “The Dream” and the fact that we as a Nation have come a long way since the 1960′s. We are a much better country for it. However, that does not mean that we do not still have more to do and will most likely always will.   MLK Jr’s message goes out to all people, not just one message to blacks or another to whites.  Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, do not let others interpret that dream for you. Do not let those with an agenda that is far from “The Dream” to make you feel less or call you something that you are not. Martin Luther King Jr. was correct, it is never about the color of one’s skin, it is always about the content of one’s character. Always! That means the character of those who would lie to you or highjack “The Dream” for their own purposes. Those who are divisive and keep races at each other do a disservice to Martin Luther King, Jr.

August 28, 1963

Full text of MLK Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech can be read here.

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

From CNN comes the unheard tapes from MLK Jr. circa 1960. Martin Luther King Jr. discusses the peaceful Civil Rights movement and called the movement represents struggle on the highest level of dignity and discipline.

From FOX News: On MLK Day – let’s celebrate all that has changed in 50 years.

On Sunday, Georgia Congressman John Lewis, the last surviving speaker from the 1963 March, spoke to that startling reality:

“I feel more than lucky but very blessed to be able to stand here 50 years later and to see the progress we have made,” Lewis said. “And just to see the changes have occurred. If someone had told me 50 years ago that an African-American would be in the White House as the president, I probably would have said ‘You’re crazy. You are out of your mind. You don’t know what you’re talking about.’ The country is a different country, and we’re better people.”

In fact, outstanding African-Americans have broken through doors previously closed to all people of color in the past 50 years.

In government, we have had two black Supreme Court Justices, several Cabinet secretaries, two governors, six senators and dozens of people in Congress. We have a black president twice elected by the Americans people – who, as many have noted, could have been owned by our first 16 presidents as property.

The following VIDEO has excepts from from many different MLK speeches and this interview and has some incredibly interesting comments that all should take a listen to. What many do not understand is that MLK’s words do not just speak to the black Civil Rights movement. They speak to everyone.

  • “We are in a separate phase where we are seeking genuine equality. Where we are dealing with hard economic and social issues.”
  • Its more easy to integrate a lunch counter than it is guarantee an annual income. [...] It’s easier to integrate a bus than it is to get a program that will force a government to put billions of dollars to ending slums.”
  • “I weight the criticisms that I would get. I thought about even the fact that some Negros would not understand.  And some respectable Negro Leaders who are more concerned about being invited to the White House than invited to the cause of justice would be against me.”

Unlike others, I do not begin to speak for Martin Luther King Jr. and how he would act or what he would say in today’s world. So many are quick to say that he would be for increasing the minimum wage because he spoke of the Poor People’s Campaign which was a multiracial effort to address poverty in the nation by demanding a $30 billion antipoverty package, including full employment and the annual construction of 500,000 affordable residences. I don’t think so. The US has had a ‘War on Poverty’ since 1964 and the LBJ years. However, 50 years later it has been a failure.

I believe that Martin Luther King Jr. was a man of his word and wanted true equality for his people. I do not believe that he wanted them back on the plantation and subject to a life of dependency on welfare programs. True equality does not come from a hand out, it comes from  a hand up. Equality does not come from being forced to live in government housing. Equality comes from a strong family unit, an education, morality,  a want and desire to get ahead and believing in something greater than yourself.  The US has spent trillions in the War on Poverty and has gotten no where. The welfare state has been a disaster for “The Dream”.  Sorry, I do not believe for one second that MLK’s “DREAM” had the notion that blacks would become part of a voting block and completely dependent upon the government. JMO.
