Hmm, Michelle Obama’s Princeton Classmate Toni Townes-Whitley is Executive at CGI Federal That Won a “No Bid” Contract that Built Failed Obamacare Website, Healthcare.gov
ARE YOU KIDDING ME: More Obama lack of transparency and in this case an outright conflict of interest, cronyism and quid pro quo, oh but its just a coincidence …
Hmm, everybody was wondering how a Canadian based company, CGI Federal, and not a US based one received the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare website,Hhealthcare.gov. So how did CGI, the company behind ObamaCare site, with such a checkered past of failure and not meeting project goal expectations get this contract? As The Daily Caller reports, maybe CGI got the “no bid” contract because Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate, Toni Townes-Whitley, is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website. Also, George Schindler, the president of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract. Yup. no quid pro quo or cronyism here, EH?
First Lady Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate is a top executive at the company that earned the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.
Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.
Townes-Whitley and her Princeton classmate Michelle Obama are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.
Toni Townes ’85 is a onetime policy analyst with the General Accounting Office and previously served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, West Africa. Her decision to return to work, as an African-American woman, after six years of raising kids was applauded by a Princeton alumni publication in 1998
George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.
Conservatives for Palin might have stated it best, “I know what you’re thinking. But c’mon, I’m sure the no-bid contract was just a coincidence. No cronyism there. After all, CGI did such a competent job constructing Healthcare.gov with the taxpayer’s $678 million that there was clearly no reason to have anyone else bid on the contract. Oh wait…”. Amen brother!

Food Stamp Fraud … Individuals Selling Food Stamps for Cash on Craigslist
Barack Obama, the food stamp president, it appears the program is rife with fraud.
CAN YOU SAY FOOD STAMP FRAUD? Isn’t this special, as the United States has record number of people on food stamps it appears that many are turning the government hand out and your tax dollars into a way to make some quick cash on Craigslist. Food stamps are not supposed to be transferred or resold, and the Craigslist’s policy actually lists them among the items that are not allowed to be sold or bartered on their web site. However, unless some one flags them, they claim they can do little. Seriously? A web site does not even monitor itself? One can imagine that the fraud and abuse is rampant withing this government hand out program if individuals are so brazen to sell them on a public website like Craigslist. But the question is, how can something so easy to be researched not being cracked down on by the feds? One can only imagine why individuals want cash for something that is intended to by food. How about Congress pass a law that says the punishment for reselling food stamps in 10 to 15 years in prison? I bet that would stop a lot of this nonsense.
Imagine the amount of money that the American tax payers could be saved if the feds actually went after fraud and abuse?
Food stamp recipients are turning the government handouts into quick cash with ads on Craigslist, despite efforts to stem fraud.
The federally-funded grocery assistance coupons — which are issued by states in the form of debit cards under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — are being sold on the online bulletin board as well as auction sites like eBay. FoxNews.com found several offerings at Craigslist sites around the country, where the sellers offered the welfare benefits at large discounts from face value.
“If you need food. This is not a gimmick or game,” read one posting from Philadelphia. “Please let me know, I have food stamps for sale….. Serious Replies only!!!”
“I have $500 worth and it costs $350 cash. No I will not do half!” read another posting from the Atlanta area. “I don’t need to sell. If you would like to get an extra $150 to $175 in grocery and pay no taxes and can see the benefit that you will still be saving then email me or call me and we can arrange the whole deal as soon as you like.”
EXIT QUESTION: How about the government actually crack down on fraud and abuse rather than always asking for an increase in taxes?

TECH SURGE: Barack Obama Bring in Tech Best & Brightest to Fix Obamacare Web Site (Healthcare.gov) After Already Costing Tax Payers $634 Million
Welcome to what government considers a glitch … Did Obama use “dumb and dumber” to create Healthcare.gov?
The Obamacare rollout has been nothing short of a joke and a colossal failure. After 3 years and wasting $634 million of tax payer’s money, the Obama administration is now saying that they are bringing in the “best and brightest” to fix the Obamacare website problems. Does that mean that for $634 million, President Barack Obama and HHS Sec. Katheen Sebelius did not use the best and brightest to create this boondoogle in the first place? It really begs the question, just what did tax payers pay for and who’s decision was it to hire the folks and oversee this project. After weeks of continual issues where individuals could not log on to the web site or create accounts, the Obama administration finally had to admit that there were more than just glitches and had to bring in outside help to fix the problems.
President Barack Obama is supposed to come out today and express his frustration with the Obamacare rollout. He was so concerned and upset by the Obamacare failures that he went golfing again over the weekend. Of course look for Obama to blame Republicans for the delays because they fought against Obamacare and continue to do so. The question that needs to be asked is how did Obama and Sebelius allow Healthcare.gov to open on the date they originally planned rather than actually having the site beta tested to see if it even worked properly? Only the government is allowed such colossal failures. If this was private business, you have one chance to make a first marketing impression.
Over the past two and a half weeks, millions of Americans visited HealthCare.gov to look at their new health care options under the Affordable Care Act. In that time, nearly half a million applications for coverage have been submitted from across the nation. This tremendous interest – with over 19 million unique visits to date to HealthCare.gov– confirms that the American people are looking for quality, affordable health coverage, and want to find it online.
Unfortunately, the experience on HealthCare.gov has been frustrating for many Americans. Some have had trouble creating accounts and logging in to the site, while others have received confusing error messages, or had to wait for slow page loads or forms that failed to respond in a timely fashion. The initial consumer experience of HealthCare.gov has not lived up to the expectations of the American people. We are committed to doing better.
Aside from the difficulties since launching the site, there are parts of the overall system that have proved up to the task. The “Data Hub,” component, which provides HealthCare.gov with information that aids in determining eligibility for qualified health plans, is working. Individuals have been able to verify their eligibility for credits, enabling them to shop for and enroll in low or even no-cost health plans.
The site was open for mere seconds in the Obamacare rollout and it experienced many serious issues. But what else would you expect from Obamacare, the federal government and a healthcare takeover, that a majority of Americans did not want named after Barack Obama?
To ensure that we make swift progress, and that the consumer experience continues to improve, our team has called in additional help to solve some of the more complex technical issues we are encountering.
Our team is bringing in some of the best and brightest from both inside and outside government to scrub in with the team and help improve HealthCare.gov. We’re also putting in place tools and processes to aggressively monitor and identify parts of HealthCare.gov where individuals are encountering errors or having difficulty using the site, so we can prioritize and fix them. We are also defining new test processes to prevent new issues from cropping up as we improve the overall service and deploying fixes to the site during off-peak hours on a regular basis.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you, and make sure that your experience with HealthCare.gov is a positive one. If you have any comments, either complimentary or critical, please let us know by sharing your feedback at https://www.healthcare.gov/connect/. We’ve already heard so many stories of individuals getting health insurance for the first time, and we are dedicated to making that possible for all Americans.
On Saturday, the administration announced that 476,000 people had applied for insurance through the site. However, HHS did not announce how many of those people had successfully been enrolled. The 400K+ number is hardly the number that will eventually enroll. One has to apply in order to see the prices. Also, many individuals had to create multiple accounts because of the glitches.
UPDATE I: Barack Obama plans ObamaCare damage control and most certain spin today in presser.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Says Glitches & Technical Problems in Rollout of Obamacare Trainwreck Were “Unacceptable”
If it looks like a train wreck, sounds like a train wreck and operates like a train wreck … ITS A TRAIN WRECK!!!
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) says that the glitches and technical problems that have plagued the rollout of President Obama’s landmark health reform law were “unacceptable” and have to be fixed. Actually Nancy, the fact that this law was forced down the throats of the American people on a partisan Democrat vote is unacceptable. Pelosi can also be heard in the video below in her hyper-partisan tone that both sides were not equally to blame for the government shutdown and her ad hominem attacks against those who are for less government, wasteful spending.
Previously, former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs called the rollout “Excruciatingly Embarrassing” and some one needed to be fired.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday that the glitches and technical problems that have plagued the rollout of President Obama’s landmark health reform law were “unacceptable” and have to be fixed.
“As far as the Affordable Care Act, as I call it, the fact is, that, yes, what has happened is unacceptable in terms of the glitches,” Pelosi told ABC News’s “This Week.”
“This has to be fixed, but what doesn’t have to be fixed is the fact that tens of millions of more people will have access to affordable, quality healthcare. That no longer having a preexisting medical condition will bar you from getting affordable care,” Pelosi said.
Last week, The Wall Street Journal reported that the online insurance exchanges have created enrollment forms that misreport family members, create duplicate entries, or clear important data fields.

Good Grief … Debt Jumps $328 Billion In Single Day Of Operation to Go Over $17 Trillion
While Americans were sleeping, the US debt jumped a record $328 billion in one day on Thursday and now is over $17 trillion. The jump was not a result of new spending, but instead because the government was replenishing its stock of “extraordinary measures”.
U.S. debt jumped a record $328 billion on Thursday, the first day the federal government was able to borrow money under the deal President Obama and Congress sealed this week.
The debt now equals $17.075 trillion, according to figures the Treasury Department posted online on Friday.
The $328 billion increase shattered the previous high of $238 billion set two years ago.
The giant jump comes because the government was replenishing its stock of “extraordinary measures” — the federal funds it borrowed from over the last five months as it tried to avoid bumping into the debt ceiling.
The PJ Tatler could not have stated it any better when it comes to the games that only the government is allowed to play.
This robbing Peter to pay Paul nonsense should be banned — especially since neither Peter or Paul have any extra cash anyway. If the feds were a private business, they would have been arrested, tried, and convicted for cooking the books long ago.
