QUESTION: Right. I think she was trying to skip out before this came up. (Laughter.) But all right, so I want to ask you about one of the emails, and I know you addressed this briefly yesterday. One came from – that the critics have seized on came from Doug Band of the Clinton Foundation, asking Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills in an email to, quote – it’s saying, “It’s important to take care of” – and then the name is redacted, and he is obviously pushing to get this person a job in the State Department. And then Huma replies, basically, they’re working on it.

Can you tell us why the State Department redacted that name, and whether or not this person wound up getting a job or not?

MS TRUDEAU: Okay. Well, I can’t speak to specific case – cases. I’m also not going to speak to specific redactions. I will note though, broadly, the department regularly hires political appointees with a range of skill sets for a broad variety of jobs. It’s not unusual for candidates to be recommended to the department through a variety of avenues.

QUESTION: The –

QUESTION: The Clinton campaign is on background saying today it’s a – it was a young advance staffer, not a donor or a foundation employee. I guess I just – I need a little help understanding why this person’s name cannot be shared.

MS TRUDEAU: I can’t speak to specific cases, and I certainly can’t speak to comments from the – from the campaign.

QUESTION: Would it be wrong to assume that, then, that this is a case simply of nepotism or something like that? I mean, what – how are we then supposed to interpret what –

MS TRUDEAU: You – I can’t speak to specific cases, Justin.

Newly Released Clinton Emails Shed Light on Inappropriate Relationship Between Hillary Clinton State Dept. and Clinton Foundation

JUST ONE INCESTUOUS RELATIONSHIP … THE HILLARY CLINTON STATE DEPARTMENT AND THE CLINTON FOUNDATION.

As reported at CNN, the newly released Clinton emails show just how inappropriate the relationship was between the Hillary Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation. Connections to Hillary Clinton and payments to the Clinton Foundation seemed to get individuals access with the U.S. State Department. Unbelievable, this is nothing more than using one’s position within the government for one’s own person gain.

These new emails show an obvious conflict of interest and quid pro quo of influence and corruption. Good grief America, is this what you really want as president of the United States? Seriously! Isn’t it amazing that these new round of emails had not yet been previously released.

Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin asks the ultimate question that needs to be answered, “Hey MSM, how many times do Hillary’s emails need to ‘renew questions’ about Clinton graft before they’ve answered them?”

Newly released emails from Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state raise questions about the nature of the department’s relationship with the Clinton Foundation.

Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, released 296 pages of emails from the Democratic presidential nominee, including 44 that Judicial Watch says were not previously handed over to the State Department by Clinton. The emails, many of which are heavily redacted, raise questions about the Clinton Foundation’s influence on the State Department and its relations during her tenure.

In one instance, top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band lobbied Clinton aides for a job for someone else in the State Department. In the email, Band tells Hillary Clinton’s former aides at the department — Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin — that it is “important to take care of (redacted).” Band is reassured by Abedin that “Personnel has been sending him options.”

The emails were obtained by the group through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch against the State Department in 2015. The group did not respond to a CNN request for comment.
The Trump campaign seized at the new batch of emails, citing them as evidence of Clinton being corrupt. The prolonged investigations into her use of a private email server while at the State Department has fueled public distrust of her and plagued her presidential bid. But the Justice Department declined to press charges against Clinton for her handling of classified information related to the server earlier this year, with FBI Director James Comey saying while she was “extremely careless,” it was his judgment that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”

According to the AP, Hillary Clinton failed to hand over key emails to the State Department. Should be expect anything less from lying, crooked Hillary Clinton? This woman belongs in jail, not running for president. How could some one so corrupt ever be voted president? Former Secretary Hillary Clinton failed to turn over a copy of a key message involving problems caused by her use of a private homebrew email server, the State Department confirmed Thursday. The disclosure makes it unclear what other work-related emails may have been deleted by the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

The email was included within messages exchanged Nov. 13, 2010, between Clinton and one of her closest aides, Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin. At the time, emails sent from Clinton’s BlackBerry device and routed through her private clintonemail.com server in the basement of her New York home were being blocked by the State Department’s spam filter. A suggested remedy was for Clinton to obtain a state.gov email account.

“Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible,” Clinton responded to Abedin.

Clinton never used a government account that was set up for her, instead continuing to rely on her private server until leaving office.

The email was not among the tens of thousands of emails Clinton turned over to the agency in response to public records lawsuits seeking copies of her official correspondence. Abedin, who also used a private account on Clinton’s server, provided a copy from her own inbox after the State Department asked her to return any work-related emails. That copy of the email was publicly cited last month in a blistering audit by the State Department’s inspector general that concluded Clinton and her team ignored clear internal guidance that her email setup violated federal standards and could have left sensitive material vulnerable to hackers.

Trump vowed to press on with his characteristic fighting spirit, but — in a nod to the concerns of Republicans worried Trump may never change morph into a more presidential figure — he also promised to be uniting.

“Some people say I’m too much of a fight,” Trump said. “My preference is always peace.”

And he added: “My goal is always again to bring people together, but if I’m forced to fight for something that I really care about, I will never ever back down and our country will never back down.”

State Department’s Inspector General Released a Report on Hillary Clinton’s Email … Hillary Busted in More Lies

LYING HILLARY … SHE SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT AFTER HER NIXON-LIKE ACTIONS.

Actually, what Nixon did was 1000 x’s less … The State Department’s Inspector General has released a scathing reports on Hillary Clinton’s emails. Once again Hillary has been busted as she continually lies. Hillary and her campaign mouth pieces have continually claimed that they had done nothing wrong and there was nothing to her use of private emails(s) and the private server in her home that stored said emails so that no one could see or request them thru FOIA. Hilary Clinton, who of course exposed secrets to possible national security issues by her knowing and willful acts to hide her emails, claims this has all been a right wing witch hunt. So I guess she can add the Obama-appointed intelligence community Inspector General, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to the right wing conspiracy.

As the FBI continues to investigate criminal wrongdoing, CNN reports that the Inspector General has raised the stakes with the release of a remarkable report finding that Clinton’s actions violated State Department policies and were inconsistent with federal record-keeping laws. Hmm, but Hillary said she did nothing wrong. Oh wait, her lips were moving, she must have been lying.

The report also discloses new details relevant to Clinton’s motives and her assertion that the use of a private server was simply a matter of convenience. While criminal charges still remain highly unlikely, the inspector general’s report is significant and unquestionably damaging to Clinton’s public defense.

Most crucially, the inspector general directly contradicts Clinton’s repeated assertions that she complied both with federal law and State Department policies. “At a minimum,” the report finds, “Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with Department’s policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act.”

The report goes further, noting that while Clinton’s subsequent production of 55,000 pages of emails in response to State Department demands partially corrected these violations, the records Clinton turned over were incomplete. Remarkably, the report includes reference to a previously unreleased 2010 email in which Clinton, responding to her deputy chief of staff for operations, Huma Abedin, directly addresses her lack of an official State Department email account and voices a fear of the “risk of the personal being accessible” if she had one. In a briefing, State Department officials were unable to confirm the source of this email, but if it was omitted from the records Clinton produced, it again would raise questions about the process she used to distinguish between “federal records” and “personal records” before destroying the latter.
