US State Department Advises Americans in Libya to Leave Immediately

Hmm, where were the calls from the State Department and Hillary Clinton to heed the warnings and requests from Ambassador Stevens in 2011 in Benghazi?

The US State Department issued a warning on Tuesday to avoid traveling to Libya and telling Americans currently in Libya to leave immediately due to security concerns. What, like the downward spiraling security situation in Libya has not been precarious for years? The evacuation warning came shortly after the USS Bataan, with about 1,000 Marines aboard, sailed into the Mediterranean Sea to assist Americans in leaving if necessary. So how is that Obama foreign policy in Libya working? Obama has managed to make a bad situation, even worse. But as Democratic wannabe presidential hopeful and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says, “What difference does it Make”.

What’s the matter, Obama “#” foreign policy not working in Libya?

The United States warned its citizens Tuesday to avoid travel to Libya and advised that all Americans currently in that country leave immediately due to a precarious security situation.

“Due to security concerns, the Department of State has limited staffing at Embassy Tripoli and is only able to offer very limited emergency services to U.S. citizens in Libya,” a statement read.

The State Department said the security situation in Libya remains unstable almost three years since a revolution deposed the late leader Moammar Gadhafi. Military-grade weapons, including antiaircraft weapons, are in the hands of private individuals, the State Department warned.

Other threats come from extremist groups, which the U.S. says have made specific threats against American officials and citizens. The statement issued Tuesday warned that “travelers should be aware that they may be targeted for kidnapping, violent attacks, or death.”

The Department of State warns U.S. citizens against all travel to Libya and recommends that U.S. citizens currently in Libya depart immediately. Due to security concerns, the Department of State has limited staffing at Embassy Tripoli and is only able to offer very limited emergency services to U.S. citizens in Libya.  This Travel Warning supersedes the Travel Warning issued on December 12, 2013.

The security situation in Libya remains unpredictable and unstable.  The Libyan government has not been able to adequately build its military and police forces and improve security following the 2011 revolution.  Many military-grade weapons remain in the hands of private individuals, including antiaircraft weapons that may be used against civilian aviation.  Crime levels remain high in many parts of the country.  In addition to the threat of crime, various groups have called for attacks against U.S. citizens and U.S. interests in Libya.  Extremist groups in Libya have made several specific threats this year against U.S. government officials, citizens, and interests in Libya.  Because of the presumption that foreigners, especially U.S. citizens, in Libya may be associated with the U.S. government or U.S. NGOs, travelers should be aware that they may be targeted for kidnapping, violent attacks, or death.  U.S. citizens currently in Libya should exercise extreme caution and depart immediately.

Sporadic episodes of civil unrest have occurred throughout the country and attacks by armed groups can occur in many different areas; hotels frequented by westerners have been caught in the crossfire.  Checkpoints controlled by militias are common outside of Tripoli, and at times inside the capital.  Closures or threats of closures of international airports occur regularly, whether for maintenance, labor, or security-related incidents.

So what is the difference between Benghazi in 2011 and Libya today? Can you say Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection and his BS campaign slogan that Al-Qaeda was on the run.  A note to those that embrace being uniformed … Benghazi is in Libya.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) blamed the current VA Scandal taking place during the Obama presidency on former President George W. Bush at her latest press conference as she stated, “Maybe when we go into war, we should be thinking about its consequences and its ramifications.” Really, is this all Democrats have to any scandal or anything bad that happens to blame Bush? This is a bit old 6 years into an Obama presidency. It is sickening that Veterans issues are being politicized. I would dare say that there have been issues, troubles and scandals with the VA in one form or another during the Obama, GWB, Clinton, GHWB, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, LBJ, etc. presidencies.I can remember hearing about terrible hospital conditions within the VA from days long before GWB was even a governor in Texas. However, in the sick, divisive and partisan mind of Nancy Pelosi and the current band of liberal Democrats … It’s blame GWB time again. I guess they could not blame the Koch brothers for this one. Now the Dems have a new scandal to defend themselves from in the 2014 midterm elections … I know, let’s just blame Bush. Just how many times will they dip into this well of unaccountability?

At some point Democrats and Obama have to take accountability and have to be held accountable for their actions and inaction. Everyone inherits issues from some one and it is up to you to make things better, not just blame some one else because you failed. It is difficult to believe that Obama has done anything with regards to the VA “cooking the waiting list books” scandal when he could not even admit he knew about it. At what point does everything that comes out of the Obama White House just be taken as a lie? NO ONE CARES WHO FAULT IT IS … FIX IT!!!

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., repeatedly put the blame for the Veterans Affairs scandal on former President George W. Bush, while arguing that her party has worked hard for veterans in recent years.

Pelosi took a shot at Bush while saying that the scandal is a high priority for Obama. “He sees the ramifications of some seeds that were sown a long time ago, when you have two wars over a long period of time and many, many more, millions more veterans,” she told reporters during her Thursday press briefing. “And so, I know that he is upset about it.”

The Democratic leader never mentioned Bush by name, but she alluded to him early and often in the press briefing.

“Maybe when we go into war, we should be thinking about its consequences and its ramifications,” Pelosi said while discussing the scandal. “You would think that would be a given, but maybe it wasn’t. And so, we go in a war in Afghanistan, leave Afghanistan for Iraq with unfinished business in Afghanistan. Ten years later, we have all of these additional veterans. In the past five years, two million more veterans needing benefits from the VA. That’s a huge, huge increase.”

This scandal that is currently taking place with the VA cooking the books was known to Barack Obama back in November 2008. So why is he acting like this is some surprise out of left field? Obama, through his mouth piece Jay Carney made the media and public to believe BO just learned of the scandal when it was reported in the news recently. LAIRS!!! They knew about this problem and Vets still died. Um, that is Bush’s fault how?

Here comes a shock, guess what … THEY LIED!!! As reported at the LA Times, in yet another end run around Congress, quietly adjusted key provisions of its signature healthcare law to potentially make billions of additional taxpayer dollars available to the insurance industry if companies providing coverage through the Affordable Care Act lose money. Ever wonder why insurance companies were all in for Obamacare? Looks like they had an out to be paid back for losses through a government bailout courtesy of the American tax payers.

This law should be considered a crime perpetrated on the American people. There was an intelligent, logical and proper way to go about attempting to provide healthcare to Americans who wanted it and make it affordable … THIS WAS NOT IT AND WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE.

Administration officials for months have denied charges by opponents that they plan a “bailout” for insurance companies providing coverage under the healthcare law.

They continue to argue that most insurers shouldn’t need to substantially increase premiums because safeguards in the healthcare law will protect them over the next several years.

Marion Superior County Judge Kurt Eisgruber Orders No Prison Time for Indiana Man David Wise Convicted of Drugging & Raping his Wife Mandy Boardman

Talk about a travesty of Justice, since when have we become lenient on rapists … What is is this Shariah Law?

Get ready to be outraged … On May 10, 2011, Mandy Boardman told the detectives at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department the bizarre story that her husband, David Wise, had been drugging her for at least three years and raping her in her sleep. She had also found video on his cell phone.  Last month a jury convicted Wise of six felony charges related to sexually assaulting his wife. On Friday, May 16, 2014,  Marion Superior Court judge Kurt Eisgruber sentenced Wise to 20 years. Seems OK so far, right? Well it ends here.

The judges sentence did not include one day in prison. In regards to the 20 year sentence, 12 years were suspended and 8 years were to be spent in home confinement. WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS JUDGE THINKING!!! Since when are we lenient on rapists?

But perhaps the strangest thing is what happened after a jury convicted Wise last month of six felony charges related to sexually assaulting his wife.

On Friday, a Marion Superior Court judge sentenced Wise, 52, to 20 years — but not a day in prison. Of the sentence, 12 years were suspended and 8 years were to be spent in home confinement.

Prosecutors had asked for 40 years in prison.

And Boardman — who divorced Wise after discovering what he’d been doing — is furious.

“To have my rapist, my attacker, convicted on all six counts, only to be let go – only for him to walk out that door the same time I could — was just unfathomable,” Boardman told the Los Angeles Times in a phone interview on Monday. “I never thought that he would be at home, being able to have the same rights and privileges as I do.”

His wife was “snippy” and drugging her “made her nicer” is how an Indianapolis man convicted of repeatedly drugging and raping his wife explained his actions in court. The offenses, carried out over the course of three years, netted Indiana resident David Wise a grand total of zero years in prison after a trial in which he was found guilty.

Wait, it gets even worse, if that is possible. The judge turned to the victim and told her that she needed to forgive her attacker. WHAT!!! Where does this judge get off making any such comment, especially when the rapsist never apologized and showed any remorse.

“While the judge was giving his opinion on the sentence, he first turned to me and told me I needed to forgive my attacker, which is unfathomable,” Boardman told The Times. “He told me I needed to forgive my attacker and I needed to let my attacker walk. It was a punch to the gut from the justice system — or from one judge.”

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the accuracy of Eisgruber’s remarks.

EXIT QUESTION: What is more criminal, a sicko husband who drugs and rapes his wife or the judge that gives this depraved individual a slap on the wrist?

Political Correctness Has Jumped the Shark … Hump Day Camel now Considered Racist & Racially Insensitive

Political Correctness Has Jumped the Shark Camel … WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE COUNTRY I GREW UP IN: PC EDITION.

The latest absurd PC reaction comes from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and their “HUMP DAY” event. A group of students had planned to bring a camel to the “Hump” day event; however, the event was canceled.  Some clueless students thought that bringing a camel would be considered racist and offensive and racially insensitive to Middle Eastern cultures. I think all I have to say to both sides is grow a set. It’s a frigging camel you so-called college educated fools. Hump Day, camel’s hump, get the connection? Maybe the RHA should have brought to the event a Humpback whale, or Quasimodo or Igor from Young Frankenstein? But some how I think the subtlety would be lost on the ignorant or some one would have been offended by individuals with humps.

Enough is enough, I am sick and tired of running everyday life over who might be offended. Newsflash, there will always be some one that will be offended by something. Imagine if we never produced a drug to help people survive with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol and any other malady because of the side affects harmed just one person? Ever take a look at any drug and the long list of side affects? That is what PC has become in the United States. You know what is offensive, kidnapping girls and forcing Islam upon them and selling them into sex slavery, honor killing and sentencing a pregnant Christian woman to death by hanging for leaving Islam. THAT’S OFFENSIVE!!!

BTW, no one seemed to find the used of a bull or a pie eating contest at the Southern Hospitality event. How offensive, are you saying people from the South are obese and are rednecks who just ride mechanical bulls like in the movie Urban Cowboy? But I guess that is different.

The “Hump Day” event, put on by the Residence Hall Association (RHA), was supposed to be “a petting zoo type of atmosphere” in which students could hang out and take photos with a live camel. According to Aaron Macke, the group’s advisor, the camel is owned by a local vendor and trained for special events.

But the event was subsequently cancelled after students took to Facebook to proclaim their concerns. The students said they were concerned about the money spent on bringing the camel to campus—around $500—and the implication that it would be racially insensitive to Middle Eastern cultures.

The Facebook group called “Protest Hump DAAAAAAY!” had more than 100 RSVP’d attendees before it was deleted on Wednesday.

“RHA’s goal in programming is to bring residents together in a fun and safe environment where all people can enjoy themselves,” RHA president Lindsay Goodwin said in a statement on RHA’s Facebook page. “It appears however, this program is dividing people and would make for an uncomfortable and possibly unsafe environment for everyone attending or providing the program. As a result, RHA has decided to cancel the event.”

GET REAL!!! I guess you are going to tell is that the GEICO “Guess what day it is” Hump day commercial is racist and culturally insensitive as well? Come on folks, is this the kind of people that we are breading in colleges today? No one had a picture of Allah and placed it in urine or spread feces on it. No one burned a Koran. No one had a scene of Allah with a camel in a compromising position. All those would be considered offensive. However, when the same things are done with Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary, it is called free speech art.
