Federal Workers Go Unpunished for Surfing Porn While On the Job & Paid by “We the People’s” Hard Earned Tax Dollars

THE WASTING OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS …

Exactly how is it that federal employees can be busted for surfing porn on the job and evade punishment? The Washington Times points out that on several occasions individuals have been busted for surfing porn when they should have been working; however, they pretty much go unpunished and in some cases get raises. According to accounts, prosecutors seem to pursue cases aggressively only when there is evidence of child pornography is involved. REALLY?

The porn aside and the misuse of government equipment as well, what part about the falsification of a federal employee time card and the resulting payment to the federal employee are the prosecutors missing? There is not one government agency that does not have a “policies & procedures” on employee conduct “compliance” policies that must be followed. The falsification with intent to defraud the tax payers is an offense that includes termination. However, these days it appears in government, no one is held accountable.

surfing porn

An employee at the U.S. Office of the Trustee — an arm of the Justice Department charged with overseeing the integrity of the bankruptcy system — spent up to five hours a day on the job looking at pornography, visiting more than 2,500 adult websites during 2011, investigators found.

The case was just one of more than a dozen investigations into computer misuse closed by the Justice Department’s office of inspector general from 2013 through early this year, according to records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.

Yet porn peepers are rarely charged with time and attendance abuse, according to investigative memos on computer misuse from agencies across government. Prosecutors seem to pursue cases aggressively only when there is evidence of child pornography.

Agencies dole out discipline administratively in some cases, and the identities of the employees are shielded from public disclosure, records show.

Former IRS Official Lois Lerner Breaks Her Silence … “I Didn’t Do Anything Wrong.”

HEY LOIS, IF YOU DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG, THEN THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO REASON TO PLEA THE FIFTH.

In an interview with The Politico, an unapologetic Lois Lerner broke her silence and claims, “I didn’t do anything wrong.” PLEASE, just like a lib, always the victim. It is just a coincidence that the department that you were in charge of went after Tea Party and Conservative non-profit groups in an effort to marginalize them heading into the 2012 elections. It is just a coincidence that the IRS scandal was more than just two rogue agents. It is just a coincidence that the IRS scandal leads back to Washington, DC federal IRS offices. It is also another coincidence that your emails have gone missing and your Blackerberry as well. And of course it was also just a coincidence that when given an opportunity to provide testimony under oath to Congress that you have plead the fifth not once, but twice. Who are you kidding?  Yup, not a smidgen of corruption. Gee Lois, why would you need to plea the 5th  to protect yourself against self-incrimination, if you didn’t do anything wrong. HMM?

Employers won’t hire her. She’s been berated with epithets like “dirty Jew.” Federal agents have guarded her house because of death threats. And she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending herself against accusations she orchestrated a coverup in a scandal that has come to represent everything Americans hate about the IRS.

Lois Lerner is toxic — and she knows it. But she refuses to recede into anonymity or beg for forgiveness for her role in the IRS tea party-targeting scandal.

“I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lerner said in her first press interview since the scandal broke 16 months ago. “I’m proud of my career and the job I did for this country.”

The portrait that emerges shows Lerner is, indeed, fierce, unapologetic and perhaps even tone-deaf when she says things that show her Democratic leanings. She had a quick temper and may have intimidated co-workers who could have helped her out of this mess. It’s easy to see how Republicans have seized on the image of a devilish figure cracking down on conservative nonprofits.

So were the emails destroyed, or do they exist and this has been nothing but an exercise in stonewalling.

UPDATE I: It would appear that the Federalist agrees with SM, “Sorry, Politico, But Lois Lerner Is Not A Victim … but the Politico would have you believe Lois Lerner is a “Hero. Servant. Brownie-baking puppy lover. Sister of the Blessed State.” Great minds think alike!

Ex-State Department Official Raymond Maxwell Claims Hillary Clinton Allies Scrubbed Benghazi Documents in Secret Basement Session … “I asked her, ‘But isn’t that unethical?’ She responded, ‘Ray, those are our orders.’

If the IRS can lose emails to protect Barack Obama, why would it not be believable that the State Department would shred documents to protect Hillary Clinton?

The story is that the State Department shredded of documents before the they were to be seen by the Accountability Review Board. In the basement of the State Department, they were creating two piles of documents, one good for Hillary, the other bad. Guess what happened to the doc that were deemed to shed a bad light on Hillary? Who was present at this “unethical” and illegal document party, Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff  Cheryl Mills and her Deputy Chief of Staff Jake Sullivan. UNREAL.

But what difference does it make, right Hillary?

Benghazi Bombshell: Fox News Report Sharyl Attkisson’s Exclusive

A former State Department official has told lawmakers that Hillary Clinton allies privately removed politically damaging documents before turning over files to the supposedly independent board investigating the Benghazi terror attack.

The account from Raymond Maxwell, former head of the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), was first published in The Daily Signal. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, confirmed to FoxNews.com on Monday that Maxwell told him and other lawmakers the same story when they privately interviewed him last year about the attacks and their aftermath.

Chaffetz said that Maxwell claimed Clinton’s chief of staff and deputy chief of staff were overseeing the document operation, which allegedly took place on a weekend in a basement office of the State Department.

“What they were looking for is anything that made them look bad. That’s the way it was described to us,” Chaffetz said.

According to Chaffetz’ account of his interview with Maxwell, as well as the Daily Signal report by Sharyl Attkisson, Maxwell said those scrubbing the documents were looking for information that would cast Clinton and senior leaders in a “bad light.”

The Daily Signal:

“I was not invited to that after-hours endeavor, but I heard about it and decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon,” Maxwell says.

He didn’t know it then, but Maxwell would ultimately become one of four State Department officials singled out for discipline—he says scapegoated—then later cleared for devastating security lapses leading up to the attacks. Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were murdered during the Benghazi attacks.

‘Basement Operation’

Maxwell says the weekend document session was held in the basement of the State Department’s Foggy Bottom headquarters in a room underneath the “jogger’s entrance.” He describes it as a large space, outfitted with computers and big screen monitors, intended for emergency planning, and with small offices on the periphery.

When he arrived, Maxwell says he observed boxes and stacks of documents. He says a State Department office director, whom Maxwell described as close to Clinton’s top advisers, was there. Though the office director technically worked for him, Maxwell says he wasn’t consulted about her weekend assignment.

Sec. of State John Kerry Now Says “We are at War” with ISIS

JOHN KERRY SAYS WE ARE AT WAR WITH ISIS, BEFORE WE WERE NOT AT WAR WITH THEM … HEY KERRY, WANT SOME SYRUP WITH THOSE WAFFLES?

In an interview this morning on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’ Secretary of State Kerry backtracked on the language he had used to describe the fight against ISIS and finally said that, “we are at war” with the terrorist group. Kerry said that he thought there was a kind of tortured debate going on about terminology of war and it was a waste of time to focus on that. Of course it was John Kerry who started the tortured debate by saying that we  were were not at war with ISIS. But the backlash was such that now he is forced to flip-flop on the comment. Try getting other countries to commit assets in a war on terror against ISIS if you are not even willing to say it.

CBS News:

Secretary of State John Kerry backtracked on the language he had used to describe the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, also known as ISIL), saying in an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday that, “we are at war” with the group.

“I think there’s frankly a kind of tortured debate going on about terminology,” said Kerry, who rejected the word “war” in an interview with CBS News State Department correspondent Margaret Brennan last week and warned that people shouldn’t get “war fever.”

“In terms of al Qaeda, which we have used the word ‘war’ with, yeah…we are at war with al Qaeda and it’s affiliates. And in the same context if you want to use it, yes, we are at war with ISIL in that sense,” Kerry said. “But I think it’s waste of time to focus on that. Frankly, lets consider what we have to do to degrade and defeat ISIL.”

Michael Foley, Brother of Beheaded American Journalist James Foley, Says US State Department Threatened Us

IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A GOVERNMENT OF, BY AND FOR THE PEOPLE … NOT ONE AGAINST THE PEOPLE!!!

In an exclusive interview with Megyn Kelly last night on ‘The Kelly File’ , Michael Foley, the brother of beheaded American journalist James Foley said that the American State Department threatened him personally. UNREAL. It is one thing for the United States government not to negotiate with terrorists and pay ransoms, but to hinder a family in trying to get their loved one back, at any cost, so-to-speak. It’s not like Obama was busy trying to secure Foley’s release. He was too busy on vacation and golfing.

Kelly: I’m wondering if you feel he [Obama] and the administration did all they could to get Jim back.

Foley: No, no. We’re appalled by the situation and you know, it went past not doing everything they could, they were actually in impedance and got in our way and that’s what really bothers me to the core. We were, I was specifically threatened by the Department of State about raising funds toward ransom demands for my brother. We were smart enough to look past it but it slowed us down. We lost a lot of time trying to regroup.

Town Hall.com:

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly last night on the Kelly File the brother of beheaded American journalist James “Jim” Foley, Michael Foley, expressed disappointment over how the Obama administration is handling the threat of terror army ISIS and in the administration’s handling of his brother’s capture leading up to his death. James Foley was beheaded three weeks ago by an ISIS terrorist and a YouTube video of the gruesome murder was posted online. President Obama was on vacation at the time and eight minutes after making a statement about the murder, returned to the golf course, a move a majority of Americans found to be in bad taste.

In reacting to President Obama’s speech earlier this week, Foley said he wanted to see a more involved strategy put on the table to stabilize the region. Further in reaction to a question posed by Kelly about whether the Obama administration did everything it could to bring James Foley home, especially after the Bowe Bergdahl swap and comments by Obama saying Americans leave no man behind, Michael Foley said his family is “appalled” by the situation. Foley also talked about how he was threatened directly by the State Department and said that when the family tried to get information from the U.S. government or from other allies, they were stonewalled
