UNREAL … IRS Caught on Tape Telling Nonprofit, “Keep Your Faith to Yourself”

TYRANNY … Does anything really shock us when it comes to the actions of the IRS?

And the abuses keep coming from the IRS. Just how out of control and extensive were the IRS abuses in their attacking of conservative and Tea Party organizations? Now we learn that IRS agent called the Alliance Defending Freedom, a pro-life legal group, and lectures the president of the organization about forcing its religion and beliefs on others, telling them, “Keep Your Faith to Yourself”. WHAT?!? So now IRS agents are telling non-profits what they can think? Who really thinks that Lefty organizations were handled the same?  It is obvious that the IRS is out of control and is too big to be Constitutional. This is what happens when an entity is given 100% power, with no controls and you are guilty until proven innocent.  Sorry, the IRS does not need to be audited, it needs to be scrapped.

The IRS scandal is deepening as a new tape has been released today showing a disturbing phone call the Internal Revenue Service placed to a non-profit organization.

Alliance Defending Freedom, a pro-life legal group, made the audio available today of IRS officials telling a group that provides support to women in abusive pregnancy situations to keep its faith to itself. In the recorded phone conversation, an IRS agent lectures the president of the organization about forcing its religion and beliefs on others and inaccurately explains that the group must remain neutral on issues such as abortion.

ADF is providing legal representation for the group — which did not receive its tax-exempt status until last week after waiting nearly two and a half years after applying for it.

Wan told her that, in order to obtain a tax exemption, “You cannot force your religion or force your beliefs on somebody else…. You have to know your boundaries. You have to know your limits. You have to respect other people’s beliefs.”

As the PJ Tatler says, “Ironic, that an IRS agent would tell someone else that they have to know their boundaries”.

You just can’t make this stuff up. As reported at CNS News, President Barack Obama said at a Democratic Senatorial campaign fundraiser in Palo Alto, CA that, “We [Democrats] don’t want to tax all businesses out of business.” HUH? Taking Obama at his word, his own words, that would mean that he is admitting he wants to tax some business out of business. And we wonder why the economy in the United States has just been awful and has not gotten any better since Obama has been president. Welcome to the non-existent Obama job recovery which has been the worst job recovery ever. Is it any wonder why so many Americans are unemployed, so many Americans are on food stamps and so many Americans have just given up looking for employment. Obama actually wants to tax some businesses out of business. This is just unreal.

“I know that there are a few Republicans here in the audience,” Obama said Friday at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign in Palo Alto, Ca. “If you talk to us, it turns out we’re pretty common-sense folks.

“We don’t think government can do everything,” he said.  “We don’t think that top-down solutions are the right way to go.  We believe in the free market.  We believe in a light touch when it comes to regulations.”

“We don’t want to tax all businesses out of business,” Obama said.  “But we do think that there’s a role to play for government.”

So America, how’s that “Hopey-Changey” stuff working out for you?

Can we trust the Obama Administration with our phone records?

What ever happened to transparency? This is what happens when “We the People” lose trust in our government and there has been no greater loss of confidence in our federal government than under Barack Obama and his Chicago-style politics. Can we trust what our government is saying about our phone calls? And why should we trust them? It is not like the IRS scandal did not directly target conservative and Tea Party groups. Personally, they have lost all credibility. This is an administration who said they would not do this to the American people and then went ahead with it anyhow. Recent polls show that America is losing trust in Obama and believe that the federal government is a threat  against them.  Just how many scandals is it going to take to prove the Obama administration cannot be trusted? If this was a Republican president, Articles of Impeachment would already have been drawn up and his party would have asked him to leave office.

Representative Michael McCaul (R.,Texas), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told CBS’s Face the Nation this morning that he wonders whether Americans can trust their government.

“The optics are terrible in this case when you consider the recent scandals,” McCaul said. “You have to ask yourself this question: Can you trust this administration with your phone records?”

 No, the Obama Administration cannot be trusted, they have proved otherwise.

The Flip-flopping of Barack Hussen Obama. Then Senator Barack Obama in 2007 had quite a different opinion when it came to the wiretapping and collection of data of law abiding Americans. So much for the 4th Amendment. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 68% of Americans believe the government is listening to their phone calls, not just data-missing them.  Even though the NY Times partially scrubbed their initial report, even the NY Times says that Obama has lost all credibility.

Judge Jeanine Pirro just shreds the IRS, their scandal of targeting conservatives or anyone who has politican dissent against Obama and the extravagant and wasteful spending of tax payers money. Pirro then goes on her rant  … “These bozo’s are not even sure how much was spent on the conference because they did not keep the receipts.  And they’re sorry. There lies the double standard and hypocrisy. As Judge Jeanine opines, “Really? When was the last time the IRS told the target of an audit deducting a business expense for which there was no receipt …no record, no problem bro, we’ll over look it. And don’t tell me you can’t fire these people. Is it just too much trouble, or do they know too much? Can they point higher than themselves?”

Following that Pirro then goes on to question the NSA and FBI for their collection of all the data of Americans to supposedly protect us from terrorist. Pirro was on a roll on this one. At what point is the U.S. Constitution adhered to when it comes to the surveillance of Americans? If it is needed to collect all this data, how come you could not stop the Boston Marathon bombing? America’s trust in government is at an all-time low. Has our Constitution been so damaged that it and our America is beyond repair? This is a must see video.

IRS Agent Hofacre Didn’t Take Kindly to being Skape-Goated as DC IRS Officials Knew Two Rogue Agents Were Not Behind the Tea Party Targeting Scandal

DRIP, DRIP, DRIP, the lie that the IRS scandal was just some local rogue agents is falling apart and shown for the ridiculous lie that it was …

IRS agent Elizabeth Hofacre told House investigators that officials in Washington knew that rogue agents in the Cincinnati office were not to blame for the targeting of conservatives and that it was a Washington official was the driving force behind the targeting of Tea Party organizations.  Hofacre took offence to being scapegoated and didn’t take kindly to having the entire mess dumped on the shoulders of her colleagues and herself.  She stated that there were too many safeguards in place and to much reporting to allow for something like this to be done. Any body who knows anything about government contract, metrics and reporting functions would know this. Having intimate knowledge of such things, there is no way that a low level individual, local Cincinnati agents could have pull this off without direct knowledge of their superiors. It is completely implausible as all of the metrics, data and reporting funnels up to your superiors.

All roads in this scandal lead to Washington, DC which further exacerbates the fact, as to why does former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 157 times? Hmm? This scandal is getting closer and closer to Obama every day.

The Hill:

Elizabeth Hofacre, the Cincinnati staffer, said that she started receiving applications from Tea Party groups to sift through in April, 2010. Hofacre’s handling of those cases, she said, was highly influenced by Carter Hull, an IRS lawyer in Washington.

Hofacre said that she integrated questions from Hull into her follow-ups with Tea Party groups, and that Hull had to approve the letters seeking more information that she sent out to those organizations. That process, she said, was both unusual and “demeaning.”

“One of the criteria is to work independently and do research and make decisions based on your experience and education,” Hofacre said, according to transcripts reviewed by The Hill. “Whereas in this case, I had no autonomy at all through the process.”…

…“I thought it was over the top,” she added, in interviews held by investigators in both parties from the House Oversight and Ways and Means committees. “I am not sure where it came from, but it was a bit unusual.”

Hofacre told investigators that officials trying to blame the Cincinnati office were misleading the public on purpose.

“I was appalled and I was infuriated,” Hofacre said. “Because they are inaccurate, and everybody that has been making those statements should know they are inaccurate.”

The Gateway Pundit reminds us of the multitude of abuses the IRS purposely and willfully afflicted upon conservative groups and the Tae party, while allowing liberal and progressive groups to just skate by.

The truth of the matter is that most Americans (60%) believe this scandal came out of the Washington, DC IRS office and that Barack Obama is doing a terrible job in dealing with the IRS scandal, including 62% of Independents.
