HILLARY CLINTON Loses It on NPR Radio Host Over Gay Marriage Record

Hypocrisy Hillary … Wow, if Hillary Clinton can’t keep composed on liberal NPR, how is she going to handle questions as a presidential candidate or will the MSM just give her a pass like Obama?

Get ready for Hillary Clinton’s favorable ratings to drop even more as America listens to Hillary Clinton and suddenly remembers that the Clinton era gave us the words, parsing and “Clintonesque”. Neither an endearing quality. In what can only be described as another disastrous interview, Hillary Clinton snaps at the radio host Terry Gross on NPR for pressing her on her gay marriage record. Note to Hillary, an NPR interview is supposed to be a liberal softball. More at Hot Air.

CLINTON: “No, I don’t think you are trying to clarify. I think you are trying to say that I used to be opposed and now I am in favor and I did it for political reasons. And that’s just flat wrong. So let me just state what I feel like I think you are implying and repudiate it. I have a strong record. I have a great commitment to this issue and I am proud of what I’ve done and the progress were making.”

Defensive, Testy Gay Marriage Interview

In an interview this afternoon on NPR, Hillary Clinton gets testy and defensive about her and her husband’s gay marriage record.

After 6 minutes of questioning, Clinton attacks host Terry Gross for pressing her on whether she changed her mind on gay marriage or she publicly stated something she had always believed.

GROSS: “So that’s one for you changed your mind?”

CLINTON: You know I really, I have to say, I think you being very persistent, but you are playing with my words and playing with what is such an important issue.”

GROSS: “I’m just trying to clarify so I can understand-”

CLINTON: “No, I don’t think you are trying to clarify.

During the interview, Clinton also attacks gay marriage opponents who “believe they have a direct line to the divine” and claims that “not that many” people supported gay marriage when her husband signed DOMA into law.

Bill Maher Actually Makes a Valid Point as People Laugh: “There Is A Gay Mafia, If You Cross Them, You Do Get Whacked” … The Intollerance of the Gay Rights Activists

Liberal comedian Bill Maher proves even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every so often …

During the online-only “Overtime” portion of HBO’s ‘Real Time’ with Bill Maher, the liberal comedian weighed in on the Mozilla controversy, and his comments may actually surprise you. Maher seemed to disagree with gay rights activists for targeting Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich because of a 2008 $1000 donation to support a ballot initiative, proposition 8, that would ban same-sex marriage in California. Not only did the gay right activists target Brendan Eich, they successfully got him removed from Mozilla for simply applying his First Amendment rights of free speech. Bill Maher said, “There is a Gay Mafia, if you cross them, you do get whacked.”

Gay Rights activists just crossed a line that they will wish one day they did not. Paybacks are as they say, a bitch.

Transcript below from RCP:

MAHER: What do you think about the Mozilla CEO having to step down over his donation to a pro-Proposition 8 group.

The Mozilla — which I’m wearing right now, by the way. I didn’t know what Mozilla was. I saw it on my computer, but — it’s Firefix, right? It’s the browser.

So this guy apparently does not want gay people to get married and he had to step down. What do you think of that, the question asks.

FMR. REP. TOM DAVIS (R-VA): Because he gave $1,000 eight years ago and it’s come back to haunt him.

CARRIE SHEFFIELD, FORBES: Well, and he gave it when President Obama was still against gay marriage. So, I don’t think it’s very fair.

MAHER: Good point. Also, I think there is a gay mafia. I think if you cross them, you do get whacked.

Founder of Westboro Baptist Church Rev. Fred Phelps Sr. is Dead at 84 … Oh the Irony, No Funeral for Fred Phelps

Good riddance to bad rubbish … Hell has a new occupant.

Westboro Baptist Church founder Rev. Fred Phelps Sr. has died at age 84. The founder of the controversial church died of natural causes at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to church spokesman Steve Drain Satan. Phelps and his misguided flock are known for their protesting of military funerals, preaching their “God Hates …” message.  Sorry, but you do not have to be a member or even a supporter of the LGBT community to be against Phelps and the WBC. One only needs to have a clue and a sense of compassion. Never has a group of individuals been so misguided, under the guise of religion. Well, except Muslim jihadist extremists.

Fred Phelps — the founding pastor of a Kansas church known for its virulently anti-gay protests at public events, including military funerals — has died, the church said Thursday.

The 84-year-old died of natural causes at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to church spokesman Steve Drain.

Phelps founded Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas, in 1955 and molded it in his fire-and-brimstone image. Many members of the small congregation are related to Phelps through blood or marriage.

According to Westboro, the church has picketed more than 53,000 events, ranging from Lady Gaga concerts to funerals for slain U.S. soldiers. Typically, a dozen or so church members — including small children — will brandish signs that say “God Hates Fags” and “Thank God for Dead Soldiers.”

Phelps was often called “the most hated man in America,” a label he seemed to relish.

Oh the irony of ironies … according to his daughter, Margie Phelps, there will be no funeral for Fred Phelps. HA!!! What’s the matter, is the Westboro Baptist Church and the Phelps family afraid that a record number of people will show up to picket and protect his funeral, Hmm? Are they afraid that there will be signs by protesters stating, “GOD hates Fred”. Just curious? But this is the way that hypocritical hate works. It would appear that the iront was not lost on American Power either.

No Funeral

Margie Phelps, Phleps daughter, told WIBW-AM that there will be no funeral for him.

Over the weekend, we learned that Phelps was reportedly “on the edge of death.”

In a statement on his Facebook page, Nathan Phelps, who has been estranged from his father for 30 years, said the senior Phelps was dying in hospice care in Topeka, Kan., and that he had been ex-communicated from his own church in August of 2013.

Kudos to Lefitists Holy Bullies and Headless Monsters  … Rise above the hate.

I’m sending this message to you in hopes that you may send it on. I hope that as in other times a cooler mind may win out before others make a choice we, the LGBT community, won’t be able to take back. It has been reported today that Fred Phelps has died. It is safe to say that, given his attitude and his devotion to hate, those of us within, and around, the LGBT community will not mourn his end. He caused many families pain at a time when they were already hurting from the death of loved ones. However, this is his legacy, not ours.

As reported at Kansas First News, the founder of the hate-filled, judgmental church may be dead, but the ill-intended message continues. The WBC will continue to picket and spread their message of judgmental hate. Why would they stop, it is the only way they get attention.

Some called his family the most hated in America, and there has been reaction worldwide about the death of that founder of the Westboro Baptist Church, Fred Phelps. According to Tim Phelps, one of Fred Phelps Sr.’s sons, Phelps passed away Wednesday night.

With the news of his passing, there is a question people are asking: Will the picketing stop?

It was business as usual for the members of the Westboro Baptist Church, less than a day after their founder’s death.

“So it’s no different today?” Kansas First News asked Westboro Baptist Church members. ”No different today. Duty is the same,” answered a member who was picketing on 17th and Gage in Topeka.

Make Room in HELL … Westboro Baptist Church Founder Fred Phelps Sr. Reportedly Near Death

Don’t worry, there is a special spot reserved for you in the 7th level of Hell … hmm, or is it the 8th?

Fred Phelps Sr., the founder of the radical Westboro Baptist Church is reportedly near death. Phelps is 84. This so-called Kansas church has become infamous for its protests at military funerals and anti-gay sentiments, promoting “Gad Hates Fags”. From the WAPO, members of the Westboro church frequently protest at funerals of soldiers with signs containing messages like “Thank God for dead soldiers” and “Thank God for 9/11,” claiming the deaths are God’s punishment for American immorality and tolerance of homosexuality and abortion. I guess some one forgot to tell this group that God loves, he does not hate.

According to his estranged son via Facebook, Nathan Phelps, Fred Phelps is now on the edge of death at Midland Hospice house in Topeka, Kansas.” Nathan Phelps also said, the elder Phelps was ex-communicated from his own church last year. A second son of the elder Phelps Sr., Nate Phelps, also has confirmed that his father had been voted out of church.

Fred Phelps Sr.

The Rev. Fred Phelps Sr., who founded a Kansas church that’s widely known for its protests at military funerals and anti-gay sentiments, is in a care facility.

Westboro Baptist Church spokesman Steve Drain said Sunday that Phelps is being cared for in a Shawnee County facility. Drain wouldn’t identify the facility but says Phelps is 84 and “having some health problems.”

Son of Fred Phelps Sr. says father voted out of church.

The information is based on an email sent by the son, Nate Phelps, to a Topeka Capital-Journal reporter. Nate Phelps said his father is near death.

“(Fred) is at Midland Hospice House where, as of yesterday (Friday), he is comfortable without the respiratory difficultly that he was having the day before and is unresponsive,” Nate Phelps wrote, quoting a message sent to him.

After Fred Phelps Sr. was voted out of the church, he was moved to another house where he could be watched for fear of him hurting himself, then he “basically stopped eating and drinking,” Nate Phelps said in the email.

For many years, Fred Phelps Sr. and his wife, Margie Marie Phelps, lived in an upper floor of the church.

A Westboro Baptist Church spokesman declined to comment Sunday on whether a report that Pastor Fred Waldron Phelps Sr. has been excommunicated from the conservative church, known for its controversial anti-gay stance, that he founded in the 1950s.

Sorry, but HATE is not a religion. Isn’t this guy going to be in for a surprise when he finds the Pearly Gates locked and a sign that says, sorry, take this elevator straight to Hell.

Actress Ellen Page of the Movie Says, “I am Gay” … Honestly, Who Cares? You’re a Hollywood Actress, Not Like You Came Out and Said You Were a Republican!

Just curious, what would get a Hollywood actor/actress more of a backlash … whether they came out and said they were Gay or a Conservative Republican?

26 year old Hollywood actress Ellen Page made the announcement that she was gay during a conference for LGBT teens ‘Time to Thrive’ Friday in Las Vegas at the ‘Human Rights Campaign’. She said she, “was tired of hiding and tired of lying by omission.”  How is this a major or bold announcement? Seriously, I am not being flip here. Personally, I could care less what sexual orientation she is. It makes no difference whether I will or will not watch her movies. I have always enjoyed her in such movies like X-Men: The Last Stand, Whip It Juno and Super. It might be one thing for individuals in some locals, but the notion that in this day and age some one who is in the movie business environment can’t come of of the closet is absurd. It is not like you are going to be ostracized, harassed or made fun of because you are gay. If there was ever an industry that is more openly accepting of gays, it would be Hollywood and the movie industry. Sorry, but it is not a bad thing to be gay. Hollywood might be tough on you to have the right look, have the right weight, have the right hair color, but they could care less if you are gay or not. In fact, it might be a plus.

Hollywood actress Ellen Page, known for her role in the movie “Juno,” announced she is gay, in a very public way.

Page broke the news during an emotional speech Friday in a crowded conference hall in Las Vegas, her publicist confirmed to CNN.

“I’m here today because I am gay. And because… maybe I can make a difference,” Page told a crowd at an event called Time to THRIVE, a conference to promote issues of the gay community.

The website for the Human Rights Campaign, which hosted the conference in Nevada, congratulated the star for her “brave decision to live openly and authentically.” My question is why does it have to be public knowledge what your sexual orientation is? Does it really matter? Why do we need to know if you like guys, girls or both?

It is not like Ellen Page came out and said … I am a Republican! Now imagine if  Hollywood actress Ellen Page had come out of the closet and said she was a Tea Party Conservative and said, she did not vote for Barack Obama and does not know how anyone could have done so. Imagine if she said that President Obama’s policies were hurting teen’s chances for future jobs and that the LGBT teens sitting in the audience will have an insurmountable $17.4 trillion and counting debt because of Obama? Now that would have been really coming out of the closet for an actor/actress that would have been a story and have caused her more of a mean and hateful reaction on Facebook and Twitter.

Just ask Stacey Dash and the backlash of hatred she received for announcing her support of a GOP president.
