Hmm, Lady Gaga Sings The Star-Spangled Banner at NYC Gay Pride Event … “Land of the Free, and the Home for the Gay”

SHAMEFUL … You know, I do not care what side of the gay marriage debate you are on, I do care that you show respect for the Star Spangled Banner.

Why does the following not surprise me at all? Lady Gaga sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” to kick off New York City’s gay pride celebration Friday night by changing the lyrics to pander to the folks in the crowd that were celebrating the Supreme Court’s two recent gay marriage rulings. The ever-controversial singer sang the following while clenching a “rainbow” gay flag,  “Oh say does that star-spangled flag of pride yet wave” and then disrespectfully changed the lyrics to …  “O’er the land of the free, and the home for the gay”.

And they wonder why some folks have an issue? You just can’t keep it classy. You claim you want equality, but you take every opportunity to conduct yourselves in an unconventional and provoking manner. You were not pledging your allegiance and proudly singing the anthem to the American flag, you were doing to to the gay flag. Sorry, but I do believe the definition of marriage is that between one man and one woman, as it has been for thousands of years. I think it should be a state’s right to chose. However, that being said, what ever your believe is, is your belief. But do not think that you can force others to believe what they do not. Marriage is more than the common benefits one gets because of being married, that is a perversion of marriage that government has inflicted upon us. No one should get any more or less benefits, entitlements, tax breaks, etc whether they are married or not. However, there is one thing that I do demand and that is that you respect the United States National Anthem and the Star Spangled Banner.

Elon University/Charlotte Observer Poll Has Romney in the Lead over Obama 47% to 43% in North Carolina … 30,000 Names of Dead People Still Registered to Vote in NC

A new poll in North Carolina by the Elon University/Charolotte Observer has GOP candidate Mitt Romney in the lead over President Barack Obama 47% to 43%. Sorry, but even with the Democrat National Convention being held in NC this week, there is no way that Obama is winning the Tar Heel state in 2012.  Obama won North Carolina in 2008 by the slimiest of margins. Obama is hard pressed to win NC, especially since he went against their same sex marriage law and especially black churches voiced their outrage.

The new Elon University/Charlotte Observer Poll shows the GOP presidential candidate leading President Barack Obama 47 percent to 43 percent in North Carolina.

The poll, which has a margin of error of 3 percentage points, surveyed likely voters from Aug. 25-30, during the GOP convention in Tampa. Elon did the poll in partnership with the Observer and the News & Observer of Raleigh.

No way that Obama wins North Carolina.With unemployment in NC higher than the national average and the fact that the banking industry is huge in the state. That same banking industry that Barack Obama demonizes. Oh and how comical and hypocritical is it that Obama will be giving his speech in the Bank of America Stadium where the Carolina Panthers play.

Then again, there is always the Democrat constituency of the “Dead” vote. Ever wonder why we need voter ID laws? The following is 30,000 reason why. As the Gateway Pundit opines, you know what they say, 9 out of 10 dead voters vote Democrat.

A Raleigh-based group devoted to reducing the potential for voter fraud presented the N.C. Board of Elections on Friday with a list of nearly 30,000 names of dead people statewide who are still registered to vote.

The Voter Integrity Project compiled the list after obtaining death records from the state Department of Public Health from 2002 to March 31 and comparing them to the voter rolls.

Rick Warren tweeted that Dan Cathy, the CEO of Chick-Fil-A, called him and said that they had already set a world record toda for food sales and there was still 7 hours to go out in the West.  Honestly, it does not surprise me at all. The one’s the I frequented today and passed by were a zoo. There were traffic jams at every location and people standing in line as if waiting to go on an amusement park ride at Disney World. At one location I stopped at today, they had served 10,000 customers. A note to the intolerant LEFT, backlash is a bitch. Today, waiting in line for a Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich in support of free speech, in November it will be waiting in line to take our country back.

Christians are allowed freedom of speech as well and many are tired of the Anti-Christian sentiment
and attempted censorship of commerce because they disagreed with someone’s opinion. 

As Hot Air opined, Somewhere, a Burger King ad man’s toying with the idea of having “The King” declare himself “100% pro-life.” We might want to ad a pro-second amendment “Red Haired” little girl with pony tails as well.

Not a word about today’s activities has been whispered on Chick-fil-A’s feed even though CFA has been trending on Twitter off and on all day. As noted in the earlier post, the suspicion is that the company’s lying low about what’s happening in order to extricate itself from the front line of the culture war, but I wonder if today’s outpouring will draw some sort of recognition tomorrow. If Dan Cathy’s willing to tout the numbers to Rick Warren, presumably an official acknowledgment and thank you is on the way.

I would have to say that because of such a tremendous outpouring of support today by “We the People”, CFA is going to have to make some sort of announcement. When they do, the numbers are going to be staggering.

What the Left and the Gay community does not understand is your hypocrisy makes people ill. You are the first to cry hate speech and discrimination, yet it is you who spews vile hate and intolerance. Like this moonbat, hate filled Leftist (VIDEO) calling others hateful when he is a perfect example of what hate is all about.

Chick-Filet-A Appreciation Day a Resounding Success … Supporters Come Out in Force of Free Speach & Traditional Marriage

For those gay activists that thought they were going to protest Chick-Filet-A for the restaurant owners free speech comments have awoke a sleeping, silent majority. Today was Chick-Filet-A Appreciation Day and let me just say wow, what a resounding success.

Huge crowd across America came out in support of Chick-Filet-A today as supporters of the restaurant voiced their right of free speech with their wallets and presence. Every Chick-Filet-A had patrons in endless lines waiting to order stretching out the doors and around the building. Cars waited in lines that wound around the restaurant, into streets. It was simply amazing.

It used to be that taking a bite of a chicken sandwich just meant you were hungry. Now it has become a symbol of whether you stand for or against same-sex marriage, or – alternately – the right to express your personal views without fear of retaliation.

At Chick-fil-A locations across the country, people voted with their wallets today, coming out to express support for the fast-food chain after CEO Dan Cathy said in an interview that he is a firm backer of traditional marriage.

“I believe what the Bible says (about marriage),” Chauncy Fields told us after wolfing down a breakfast of chicken and biscuits.  “So I came out here to support Chick-fil-A and the movement.”

On a personal note, today I passed by five Chick-Filet-A restaurants during the morning hours, lunch time and this evening. OMG, the cars and people were everywhere waiting patiently in line to order their food and show their support for CEO Dan Cathy, Chick-Fil-A, free speech and traditional marriage. I went out for lunch today to go to Chick-Fil-A to show my support and there were so many cars as far as the eye could see wrapped around the building twice and into the adjacent mall parking lot. Needless to say, I had to pass. However, this evening on the way home I stopped at one closer to home and guess what, at 8 pm the line was still just as long as it was during lunch. Many items were actually sold out. The supporters basically were asking the servers, just give me anything you have left, we are here in support of you. A Chick-Fil-A in West Nashville, TN was reported to have closed early because they literally ran out of all food.

Make no mistake about this Gay America and those misguided politicians who attacked an individual for his free speech and called him and his restaurant bigoted. Do you hear yourself? Do you people ever look in the mirror? It isn’t just Gay individuals, liberals, Muslims and PC folks that have a right of free speech, guess what, so do Christians. You don’t get to threaten people for their opinions. But of course there were the cowards that called in bomb threats in a feeble attempt to stop the outpouring of support. Guess what, you failed! To the corrupt politicians, you certainly do not get to prevent individuals from opening businesses in your cities.  You have the nerve to call others bigoted and make accusations of discrimination. What is it exactly that you think you are doing?As for Friday’s “kiss-in”, the Lonely Conservative is correct, the crowds will be much less, but look for the liberal MSM to make it appear larger than reality. Does anyone really think that a “kiss-in” is going to change minds? Seriously, I don’t care to see hetero’s PDA in a restaurant, what makes you special!
