Nancy Reagan, the former first lady and the wife of the late President Ronald Reagan, died Sunday at the age of 94 at her home in Los Angeles. According to her spokeswoman, Joanne Drake of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Nancy Reagan died at her home of congestive heart failure. Nancy Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004. So many of us know her for her “Just Say No” anti-drugs policy in the 1980′s and her undying support and love for President Ronald Reagan. Nancy will now be reunited for eternity with the love of her life, together again, forever. God Bless and Rest in Peace.

Nancy Davis Reagan, wife of the late President Ronald Reagan, died Sunday at her home in Los Angeles. She was 94.

The former first lady will perhaps be best remembered for her loyalty to her husband. She became fiercely protective of him after a 1981 assassination attempt, and later stood by him as Alzheimer’s disease overtook him in his last years.

In a 1998 Vanity Fair article, she vocalized this loyalty: “When I say my life began with Ronnie, well, it’s true. It did,” she said.

During her White House years, she sponsored a major drug prevention crusade aimed at children and young adults. She toured the U.S. and other nations as part of her “Just Say No” campaign, traveling almost 250,000 miles.

Republican leaders also paid tribute Sunday to Nancy Reagan.

“With the passing of Nancy Reagan, we say a final goodbye to the days of Ronald Reagan,” wrote 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Facebook. “With charm, grace, and a passion for America, this couple reminded us of the greatness and the endurance of the American experiment. … God and Ronnie have finally welcomed a choice soul home.”

Former first lady Barbara Bush, whose husband George H.W. Bush succeeded Ronald Reagan as president, also expressed her condolences.

“Nancy Reagan was totally devoted to President Reagan, and we take comfort that they will be reunited once more. George and I send our prayers and condolences to her family,” she said in a statement.

Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, also were moved by Reagan’s death.

“Mrs. Reagan was fiercely loyal to her beloved husband, and that devotion was matched only by her devotion to our country,” Bush said in a statement.

He observed that her influence on the White House was “complete and lasting.”

Born Anne Frances Robbins on July 6, 1921, in New York City, Nancy Davis was the daughter of Edith Luckett, an actress, and Kenneth Robbins, a car dealer who abandoned the family soon after her birth. Miss Luckett resumed her stage career when her daughter was 2 and sent the child to live with relatives in Bethesda, Md. In 1929, Mrs. Luckett married a Chicago neurosurgeon, Loyal Davis, who adopted Nancy and gave her the family name.

Almost overnight, Nancy Davis’s difficult childhood became stable and privileged. Throughout the rest of her life, she described Dr. Davis as her real father.

Nancy Davis graduated from the elite Girls’ Latin School in Chicago and then from Smith College in 1943. Slender, with photogenic beauty and large, luminous eyes, she considered an acting career. After doing summer stock in New England, she landed a part in the Broadway musical “Lute Song,” with Mary Martin and Yul Brynner. With the help of a friend, the actor Spencer Tracy, her mother then arranged a screen test given by the director George Cukor, of MGM.

Hmm, is Bill Clinton trying to lose the back vote for Hillary? While campaigning in Tennessee Bill Clinton seemed to downplay that Barack Obama was the first black president when he said that unless you are “100 percent, 100 percent from sub-Saharan Africa, we are all mixed race people.” It begs the question that I have wondered for a long, long time. Does Bill Clinton really want Hillary Clinton to be president and force him to be the first, First Man?

Playing off Congressman Steve Cohen’s introduction that claimed Bill Clinton was just a “stand-in for the first black president,” Clinton told an audience in Memphis, “You know what we learned from the human genome?

“We learned that unless your ancestors — everyone of you — are 100 percent, 100 percent from sub-Saharan Africa, we are all mixed race people.”

Bill Clinton, a giant state flag behind him, spoke largely on issues that plague Memphis, including high unemployment, violent crime and poverty, and said Hillary would help America “grow together.”

“Without an economy that works for everybody, we can’t be one America, and we can’t go forward together,” Clinton said.

But in talking about the struggles of middle- and lower-class America, Clinton said the country’s financial system is “rigged.”

“Yeah, it’s rigged, because you don’t have a president who’s a change-maker, who, with a Congress who will work with him. But the president has done a better job than he has gotten credit for.”

Donald Trump Mocks Jeb Bush for Bringing Brother GWB on Campaign Trail

Hmm, once again GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump applies a double standard as he mocks other while he does the same thing. Donald Trump mocked his GOP rival Jeb Bush for bringing his brother, former President George W. Bush, to help campaign. Why wouldn’t Jeb bring his bother to a red state like South Carolina? Sorry Donald, its just good marketing, you should appreciate that. In fact, if Donald had a former president as a brother he would be doing the exact same thing. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a Jeb Bush supporter, I believe he represents too much of the “mushy middle” of the Republican establishment, however, let’s call it like it is. Trump has his entire family on the campaign trail all the time. Sorry, the longer this race goes on, the bigger idiot and fool Trump is sounding like. Trump, keep it classy, if that is even possible.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is mocking rival Jeb Bush for bringing his brother, former President George W. Bush, to help campaign.

“Don’t fall asleep when I mention the name,” Trump said, when he brought up Jeb Bush during a rally in Louisiana on Thursday.

“I see he’s bringing his brother in now. He tried the mother, who’s a very nice lady, I’m sure, but he tried the mother. That didn’t work out so good,” he said. “Now he’s bringing in his brother.”

Former first lady Barbara Bush recently campaigned with her son in New Hampshire ahead of the primary there. Now, his brother will be hitting the campaign trail in South Carolina to help bolster support.

Trump said he’d refrain from saying too much until after the former president makes a statement, adding “there’s plenty to say about what happened.”

“Especially that last three months, and especially getting us in that quicksand. You know, we got in quicksand,” he said.

Trump has in the past called Jeb Bush an embarrassment to his family, which includes two former presidents.

In an interview on Monday with Howie Carr, Donald Trump says it would be “very interesting” to ask Bill Clinton how he was different from Bill Cosby. One actually has to ask the question, what is the difference? One also has to ask the question as to why Hillary Clinton has run cover for Bubba and his sexual scandals. As the NY Post reports, the Clinton’s are in denial about Bill’s sex scandals. Actually, so is the liberal MSM, the Democrat party and those that would vote for Hillary and believing she is some champion of women.

Donald Trump says it would be “very interesting” to ask Bill Clinton how he was different from Bill Cosby.

Asked on the Howie Carr Show on Monday if there is a difference between Clinton and Cosby, Trump said, “Well, the Cosby thing is a weird deal and he’s got himself some big problems, and you almost have to ask Bill Clinton that question. It would be a very interesting question to some day ask him. Certainly he has a lot of strong charges against him and it’s pretty bad stuff. And it only got brought up because she said I have sexist tendencies. And I respect women so much and I’ll protect women and I’ll protect them and I’ll protect the whole country.”

Criminal charges were filed against the comedian last week for the first time over an alleged 2004 sexual assault. Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by more than 40 women over the years.
