Former President George W. Bush’s Favorability in the Positive for First Time Since 2005
George W. Bush, do you miss me yet?
According to a recent Gallup poll, former President George W. Bush has a higher favorable than unfavorable for the first time since 2005. When Bush left office in January 2009, he has a 40% favorably and 59% unfavorably. It was even worse than that one later. However, according to the most recent poll GWB has a 49% favorable and 46% unfavorable view. George W. Bush has pretty much stayed out of the public eye since leaving office and has remained quiet when it comes to politics and his successor. One has to wonder whether the current occupant of the White House will do the same. With the current state of affairs with the numerous scandals in the Obama administration, a continued poor economy, record number of Americans on Food Stamps, median household income down, and a Middle East that is on fire many Americans probably will pose the question to themselves, “Miss Me Yet?”
GWB did some things that were questionable in the eyes of conservatives and did escalate the US national debt; however, it was nothing compared to Barack Obama as he has skyrocketed the debt to out of control limits. Bush’s favorability is making a come back, but he has a long way to go. Many have said, history will be more kind to “W” as we look back on his presidency and realize he had to make many tough decisions that were important to protect America but was not popular for him.
Americans’ views of former president George W. Bush have improved, with 49% now viewing him favorably and 46% unfavorably. That is the first time since 2005 that opinions of him have been more positive than negative.
Bush has maintained a fairly low profile in the four years since he left office. However, he returned to the public eye this year with the April opening of his presidential library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Bush left office with 40% viewing him favorably and 59% unfavorably in January 2009. That worsened to 35% favorable and 63% unfavorable in March 2009, but his favorable rating recovered to the mid-40% range by 2010.
CNN: America starting to remember “W” fondly.
Breaking it down further, Bush has seen improvement among independents and both political parties. Twenty-four percent of Democrats view him in a positive light, according to the new survey, compared to 10% in January 2009. Republicans saw a 14 percentage point jump, with 84% now having a positive opinion of Bush.
The biggest increase came among independents. While 29% gave him a favorable rating in 2009, that number now stands at 46%.

What Will Biden Say? Deal Struck with Bill Clinton to Get Full Endorsement Nominating Speech at Democrat Convention, in Return for Obama Endorsement of Hillary Clinton in 2016
The grand ‘Quid Pro Quo” deal from the ‘Odd Couple’ … Like any of us didn’t think that this happened behind the scenes? How else could Bubba have supported Obama and help him win the 2012 presidential election? Some one who pretty much despised.
File this one under, politicians will do anything to maintain power. As reported at the NY Post, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton struck a deal that for Bill Clinton’s support in 2012 at the Democrat National Convention, Obama would support Hillary in 2016. Talk about doing anything to maintain power. As stated at JWF, Clinton and Obama could not stand each other. Yet, for political expedience and ”for appearance’s sake they kissed and made up, aided and abetted by one of Obama’s media stooges”. Of course none of this works without an in the tank media that operates more as a propaganda wing of the White House than journalists.
How else does a person with complete contempt for Obama, actually go all in and endorse him, putting Obama over the top?
President Obama made a secret deal to support Hillary Clinton when she runs for president in 2016, campaign sources say, payback for the support her husband gave him in 2012.
Bill Clinton’s animosity toward Obama is legendary. A year before the last election, he was urging Hillary to challenge the sitting president for the nomination — a move she rejected.
According to two people who attended that meeting in Chappaqua, Bill Clinton then went on a rant against Obama.
“I’ve heard more from Bush, asking for my advice, than I’ve heard from Obama,” my sources quoted Clinton as saying. “I have no relationship with the president — none whatsoever. Obama doesn’t know how to be president. He doesn’t know how the world works. He’s incompetent. He’s an amateur!”
For his part, Obama wasn’t interested in Bill Clinton upstaging him during the presidential campaign. He resisted giving him any role at the convention.
But as last summer wore on, and Democrat enthusiasm waned, chief political strategist David Axelrod convinced the president that he needed Bill Clinton’s mojo.
However, after Barack Obama was reelected, it was reported that he was going to back out on their deal and wanted to stay neutral in the next election, as is traditional of outgoing presidents. What, like Obama has never moved the goal post before? Obama is infamous for doing this when negotiating with the GOP. However, former President Bubba went ballistic. The result was Obama praising Sec. of State Hillary Clinton on ’60 Minutes’ or as we called it the ‘Slobbering Quid Pro Quo Love Affair’.
Bill Clinton went ballistic and threatened retaliation. Obama backed down. He called his favorite journalist, Steve Kroft of “60 Minutes,” and offered an unprecedented “farewell interview” with departing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The result was a slobbering televised love-in — and an embarrassment to all concerned.
Who knows whether this was true as it was provided by unnamed sources. But it certainly sounds plausible.
EXIT QUESTION I: What do you think Vice President Joe Biden is thinking after reading that BO will be endorsing Hillary in 2016? Hey Joe, this is a big “F’n” deal.
EXIT QUESTION II: With all the Obama administration scandals, will Hillary even want Obama’s endorsement?
President Barack Obama Sounding an Awful Lot Like Richard Nixon (VIDEO) … ” I First Learned of it from News Reports”.
Hmm, President Barack Hussein Obama is sounding an awful lot like Richard Milhous Nixon these days. The video below by Reveal Politics has side by side Obama – Nixon sound bytes and it sounds like they are separated at birth. Even CBS’s Bob Sheiffer of ‘Face the Nation’ stated to White House advisor Dan Pffeiffer, this is exactly the approach that Nixon took during Watergate. Nixon had Watergate, but Barack Obama is juggling three scandals, or is it four, at the same time and doesn’t have an answer for any of them. For those that refuse to compare Obama’s scandals to Watergate, what’s the difference? Both attacked political opposition, both used the IRS to intimidate, harass, and affect political outcomes. Both used the powers of the government against their political enemies, heck and even friends in the MSM. Oh, there was one difference … no one was left behind in Benghazi to die as they begged for help.
Remember how Democrats reacted when Nixon was caught in one scandal? But of course there is a double standard for Obama. Sorry, one scandal might be explainable. Two, makes one start to raise their eye brow. Three, is a very troubling trend and four, we begin to use the “I” word. The LEFT is losing their collective minds that their Obamamessiah, the president of ‘Hope and Change’ is nothing more than Richard Nixon with a “D”.
Charles Krauthammer Says IRS Scandal Could Be a “Fatal Problem” for Barack Obama … Second Article of Impeachment of Nixon/Watergate was Abuse of IRS
IRS Scandal Could Be a “Fatal Problem” for Barack Obama …
Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer told Sean Hannity that if the White House had any connection with the IRS scandal, it will be a ‘Fatal Problem’ for President Barack Obama. Krauthammer called the IRS situation “the one scandal that people have a visceral sense about,” it’s the one U.S. institution, besides the military, that can do very serious harm. Krauthammer is correct and the American people are outraged that the IRS, already seen in a bad light by most Americans, now have lost all trust in the government agency that appears to have to ability to act without any rules or over-sight. On Friday during House hearings on the IRS scandal, Rep. Mike Kelly blasted the IRS for their vindictive, partisan ways and stated, “This confirms that the IRS can do anything they want, anytime they want, to anyone they want.” Charles Krauthammer went on to say that the IRS going after conservative groups based on their politics is “a violation that everybody, left or right, understands.” Earlier in the week, Krauthammer commented on President Obama’s “Clintonian” response to the media’s question as to whether anyone in the White House knew about the scandal and corruption that was taking place in the IRS. President Obama dodged the question by saying, “I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press.” Which had nothing to do with the question.
From Mediaite:
Krauthammer stated, “The one issue that can fell a presidency is the corruption of the IRS coming from on high.” Hannity pointed to the denials of political targeting by the former head of the IRS when such targeting was going on, and both he and Krauthammer suspected someone will be fired over this in the future.
Krauthammer also said that Benghazi hasn’t gotten more attention is because of the lack of media coverage and the complexity of the scandal that has not fully resonated with the public.
Articles of Impeachment: Article 2
Using the powers of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in disregard of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, impairing the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposed of these agencies.
This conduct has included one or more of the following: 1.He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavored to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns for purposed not authorized by law, and to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.
Charles Krauthammer Shreds Obama … President Obama Has Been Parsing Words In a Way That Makes Clinton Look Unsophisticated
Obama, it all depends on what is, is … or iRs, is.
Tonight on Special Report, Charles Krauthammer shredded Barack Obama with a thoughtful, professional and intellectual analysis of President Obama’s parsing of words that makes former President Bill Clinton look unsophisticated. Krauthammer is 100% correct, the words that Obama used during his feigned outrage with the IRS scandal made anyone who was actually paying attention and listening take notice. Krauthammer said Obama was acting more “Clintonian” than “Nixonian”. Obama did not say that he did not know about the IRS actions, he said he didn’t know about the IG report. However, the most damning critique may have been when Krauthammer stated, “if his own counsel learns about this 3 weeks before, how can the counsel … his counsel hears about this and doesn’t tell the president for three weeks about what is obviously a massive scandal?”
“He says I didn’t know about the IG report. Well if he didn’t know about any of this, never heard any complaints, then he would have said I don’t know anything about this at all. The IG is a peculiar answer by a guy who I have now seen for weeks now, he and his spokesman have been parsing words in a way that make Clinton look unsophisticated.”
The fact of the matter is that Barack Obama has to contort the language in such a manner because if he told the truth and simple said the obvious … he would be impeached.
