More Lack of Presidential Sacrifice: Barack Obama Takes 20 Man, 10 Car Motorcade to visit childhood friend in Hawaii

Sacrifice?

President Barack Obama once again shows Americans what it means to sacrifice, NOT!  How is any one supposed to follow this president when he does not sacrifice himself? If one cannot lead by example, they cannot lead.

I wonder what the little people are doing

Once again Barack Obama shows a lack of leadership and failure to set an example for the American people. The do as I say, not as I do president thought it perfectly ok to spend “The People’s money” and have a 10 vehicle, 20 man motorcade, across highways cleared of traffic to reach his childhood friend Bobby Titcomb’sbeachfront house. What? Who does this? How does a president in the midst of a terrible economy who tells others to sacrifice continue to fail to set an example and just tell the people to “eat cake”.  Then again, who spends $1.4 million on a vacation in a recession? Obama learned so much from last year. Face it America, he just does not care.

Obama tells Stephanopoulos everyone must sacrifice … “everyone is going to have to sacrifice and have skin in the game”

Far be it from this president to sacrifice and think about not spending the tax payers money and just have invited his friend to where Obama was staying. Because that would just make too much sense. If that occurred Obama could not inconvenience every one with his motorcade and waste tax payers dollars, After all, he’s not spending his money.

President Obama provoked fresh outrage today after taking a 20-man motorcade to visit a childhood friend during his lavish Christmas holiday in Hawaii.

Post Recession Unemployment Worst Since World War II, Fed Chair Bernanke Says it will take 5 Years before We are Back to Normal Unemployment Rate

More Obama economic ”Hope & Change” … So America, what do you want first, the bad news or the real bad news first? Welcome toHooverville, Obamaville.

The US unemployment rate is at 9.8%, this is the worst post recession unemployment since WWII. How could the Obama Administrastion so dropped the ball of the US economy and jobs? Obama’s $787 billion stimulus has been a failure and the Obama, Pelosi, Reid agenda has hardly been one of focusing on jobs. Imagine if Democrats had spent the time and energy on jobs as they did Obamacare? During last years State of the Union, Obama said that he would make jobs his number one priority. Really?

As US unemployment jumped to 9.8 per cent, it is a chart to chill the bones of any job hunter.
Comparing previous recoveries from all 10 American recessions since 1948 to the current financial crisis, the figures show almost no improvement in employment figures in the past year.
Some commentators have described the comparison as ‘the scariest jobs chart ever’, pointing to the fact that only the 2001 recession took longer to bring employment back to pre-crisis levels.

Last night during a ’60 Minutes’  (VIDEO)interview, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben  Bernanke made some chilling and sobering comments regarding jobs and unemployment in America. Bernanke said that the rate we are going it could take “4 or 5 years before we are back to a more normal unemployment rate.” NO SIR, with Obama’s ridiculous economic plan, it would take 20 years to revover.

On the heels of a disappointing jobs report, the country’s top economist told 60 Minutes the outlook isn’t much brighter.

“At the rate we’re going, it could be four, five years before we are back to a more normal unemployment rate,” Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told 60 Minutes in an interview that aired Sunday night.

Nancy Pelosi Plans Big Bash to Celebrate “Accomplishments” like Increasing Spending, Debt and Losing the House

Welcome to the FACEof the Democrat party and the 60+ loss of House seats in the 2010 midterm election … We can obviously see Nancy Pelosi did not get the message of the American voters.

Talk about out of touch, from the Drudge Report,  Nancy Pelosi is planning to throw a big bash to celebrate her “accomplishments.” Maybe she would also like to throw a party for herself in trying to become the Democrat House Minority leader? After all, Pelosi is responsible for the Democrats becoming the minority party in the House, why not reward her.

PELOSI PLANNING PARTY FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Mon Nov 08 2010 16:34:33 ET

Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the United States House of Representatives requests the pleasure of your company at a reception honoring the Accomplishments of the 111th Congress on Wednesday, the tenth day of November, two thousand ten at three thirty in the afternoon Cannon Caucus Room 345 Cannon House Office Building.

The House losses might get even worse for Democrats as the GOP leads in 5 of 9 yet to be called races. In the end, the GOP House pick up might be 65 seats.

CA-11: Democrat Jerry McNerney is up 548 votes, but tens of thousands of mail-in and provisional ballots are still to be counted.
CA-20: Andy Vidak (R), a cherry farms, leads incumbent Jim Costa (D) by 648 votes.
IL-8: Republican Joe Walsh leads by 365 votes over incumbent Melissa Bean (D).
KY-6: County officials affirmed Ben Chandler’s (D) lead. The Lexington Herald-Leader: “U.S. Rep. Ben Chandler, D-Versailles, leads Republican Andy Barr by 649 votes, according to official vote totals from all 16 counties in the 6th Congressional District.
NY-1 (Suffolk County, Long Island): After a voting machine recanvass, Randy Altschuler (R) has taken over the lead from incumbent Tim Bishop (D).
NY-25: Tea Party-backed Ann Marie Buerkle (R) leads Dann Maffei (D) by 684 votes.
TX-27: Solomon Ortiz (D) trails by 799 792 votes with all the votes in. He’s going to request a recount.

VA-11: Gerry Connolly (D) claimed victory for a narrow win. By the way, he was hospitalized for an undisclosed condition.
WA-2: Rick Larsen (D) leads by 3,841 votes, a slight loss of votes from 4,100 after counting in Snohomish County.

The Gateway Pundit reminds us of other great Pelosi accomplishments like helping, along with Obama and Reid,  to triple the national debt in one year, see unemployment rise on her watch and lose the House in near record numbers.

EXIT QUESTION … Would Winston Churchill have thrown a party?

2010 Nevada US Senate Election: Sharron Angle’s Closing Argument … “Now It’s Our Turn”

Two days to go before the 2010 midterm elections and Republican US Senate candidate Sharron Angle as her closing argument for the people of Nevada. It’s your turn Nevada to go to the election polls and make a difference.

Angle’s powerful closing argument against Harry Reid and for the people … “They promised you change, but they delivered unprecedented spending, overwhelming debt, heartbreaking job loss, astounding foreclosures, skyrocketing bankruptcies … NOW IT’S YOUR TURN!”

Sharron Angle presently leads by 4% in Rasmussen, Mason-Dixon and CNNpolls. Send Harry reid into retirement this Tuesday and make some real change that is good for Nevada and America.

John Thune & GOP Weekly Address: “When You’re Speeding Toward a Cliff, You Don’t Want to Keep the Car in Drive”

When heading toward a cliff and a most certain accident, who keeps the car in drive and their foot on the gas peddle?

Nearly one week from the 2010 midterm election and US Senator John Thune of South Dakota delivered this week’s GOP Weekly Address and blistered Barack Obama’s tired and repeated analogy of Republicans driving the car into the ditch and Obama’s failed economic policies.  John Thune provided some important driving tips when facing a most certain peril and disaster … “When you’re speeding toward a cliff, you don’t want to keep the car in drive.”

My guess is that it would be Obama & Democrats cheering as the car went over the cliff in drive?

Thune also went on to say that Barack Obama and Democrats should have been more concerned with creating jobs for Americans, not saving the political careers of Democrat politicians.

President Obama has been running around the country trying to reelect Democrat members of Congress.

But if the conversations I’ve had with voters are any indication, the president should spend less time campaigning to save the jobs of Democrats in Congress, and more time trying to create jobs for the American people.

REPUBLICAN WEEKLY ADRESS FROM JOHN THEUNE

A new direction is needed.

The president likes to say that when you want to drive forward you put your car in D, and when you want to go in reverse you put it in R. It’s a clever line, but when you’re speeding toward a cliff, you don’t want to keep the car in drive.

Republicans want to reverse the dangerous course the Democrats have us on.

The full transcript of the Weekly Address can be read at  American Conservative Values:

•For campaigning to save the jobs of Democrat politicians instead of spending more time trying ti create jobs for the American People.
