Obamanomics: Barack’s Federal Government Spent 8 X’s More than Its Monthly Revenue in March
What is wrong with the federal governmet? The problem is obvious to everyone when one continually spends more than they take in. However, to do nothing is not madness, it’s criminal. Welcome to Obamanomics …
As reported at CNS News:
During the month, according to the Treasury, the federal government grossed $194 billion in tax revenue and paid out $65.898 billion in tax refunds (including $62.011 to individuals and $3.887 to businesses) thus netting $128.179 billion in tax revenue for March.
At the same, the Treasury paid out a total of $1.1187 trillion. When the $65.898 billion in tax refunds is deducted from that, the Treasury paid a net of $1.0528 trillion in federal expenses for March.
That $1.0528 trillion in spending for March equaled 8.2 times the $128.179 in net federal tax revenue for the month.
This is not March Madness … it’s government insanity!
This is why House Republican Paul Ryan is putting together a comprehensive plan that will attack the fiscal problems that face the United States. Some one has to stand up and act in a courageous manner and show leadership, it is obvious that the Democrats and President Obama do not. The time for political game playing is over, the time for actually caring about the future of America is at hand. This is why 57% of Americans are fine with a partial shutdown of the federal government if that’s what it takes to get deeper cuts in federal government spending.
Congress is currently embroiled in a funding fight over how much to spend on less than one-fifth of the federal budget for the next six months. Whether we cut $33 billion or $61 billion—that is, whether we shave 2% or 4% off of this year’s deficit—is important. It’s a sign that the election did in fact change the debate in Washington from how much we should spend to how much spending we should cut.
But this morning the new House Republican majority will introduce a budget that moves the debate from billions in spending cuts to trillions. America is facing a defining moment. The threat posed by our monumental debt will damage our country in profound ways, unless we act.

President Barack Obama’s Sinking Poll Numbers … Low Job Approval & 50% Say He Does not Deserve to be Re-elected in 2012
President Barack Obama’s poll numbers are tanking …
As Obama’s dithering continues so does the downward spiral of his poll numbers. Obama’s indecision and lack of a clear message in the “kinetic military operation” WAR in Libya, Obamacare debacle and additional waiver requests, continues poor economy and elevated oil prices have all added to Obama’s poor job approval numbers. According to the most recent Quinnipiac University National Poll, The One’s job approval rating is at 48% disapprove and only 42% approve.
Making matter worse for Obama, 50% do not believe that Barack Obama deserves a second term as President while only 41% believe he does. Hardly a good sign for an incumbent President seeking reelection in 2012. The lack of leadership and incoherent waffling message to the American people on any topic these days is wearing thin.
American voters disapprove 48 – 42 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing and say 50 – 41 percent he does not deserve to be re-elected in 2012,both all-time lows, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
This compares to a 46 – 46 percent job approval rating and a 45 – 47 percent split on the President’s re-election in a March 3 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University. In a hypothetical 2012 matchup, President Obama gets 36 percent of the vote to 37 percent for an unnamed Republican challenger.Democrats approve 80 – 13 percent of the job Obama is doing, but disapproval is 81 – 9 percent among Republicans and 50 – 39 percent among independent voters. Men disapprove 52 – 41 percent while women split 44 – 44 percent.
Why are these polling numbers so alarming? These are the lowest job approval numbers for Obama in the Quinnipiac poll, even lower than any in 2010. Obama even loses to an unnamed GOP candidate in this poll 37% to 36%. How can that be good news for any incumbent politician?
Barack Obama also failed miserably in this poll in handling the federal budget 64% disapprove – 30% approve, the economy 60% disapprove – 30% approve, foreign policy disapprove 47% – approve 41%, healthcare disapprove 55% – 38% approve.
More at Wake Up America with the trending downward polling data of Barack Obama. 2012 is right around the corner.

Democrat Talking Points from Live Miked Chuck Schumer … Label GOP Lawmakers “Extreme”…
Democrats get their marching orders to begin the talking point party line …
Want a peek into the talking points strategy of Democrats to try and smear the GOP … look no further than Senator Charles Schumer’s (D-NY) and his gaffe of inadvertently letting the cat out of the bag and telling others to call Republicans extremists while he thought the media was not listening. The Hill reports on Schumer’s talking points that were made public to all on an open line.
VIDEO with Chucky’s audio… the Senate Democrats want to play games, not get to work and find a solution that will not bankrupt America. Are these really serious people? Democrats did not pass a budget last year when they controlled both the House and the Senate. Now after the 2010 midterms and the people said stop spending money and increasing the budget, Democrats are more interested in political games than doing the work of “We the People”.
Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer’s (N.Y.) instructions for his colleagues to label GOP lawmakers as “extreme” is not helpful to budget negotiations, the Senate’s top Republican said Tuesday.
“That’s really not helpful, if we’re trying to reach an agreement here,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) told reporters at a press conference.
Earlier Tuesday, Schumer gave advice to a group of fellow Democrats before a conference call with reporters saying, “I always use the word extreme. . . . That is what the caucus instructed me to use this week.”
The remark was heard by reporters before the conference call officially began.
Lawmakers on both sides have ramped up the rhetoric against each other amid a stalemate over a proposal to fund the government through the rest of the fiscal year and avoid a government shutdown after short-term funding expires April 8.
In a word, as stated by Another Black Conservative … BUSTED!!! So who really wants the Government shut down in order to gain political points? Which brings me to what might be an ever greater point than a clueless Democrat’s lack of clandestine action in promoting their secret agenda … IS THAT ALL YA GOT!Seriously. Democrats efforts to call the Tea Party and the GOP extremists has been going on for how long? Note to Chucky … itfailed. Did you check out the results of the midterm elections? Is this all the Democrats have to offer America, that the Tea Party is extreme? “We the People” are all beginning to believe the Democrats are childish and do not belong making any decisions when it comes to monetary issues and the future of the United States.
The NY Times, always quick to defend the Democrats, have an update and a desperate attempt for Chucky’s folks to back track and try and wipe the egg off their faces.

Obamanation Hope & Change: America, When the Going Gets Tough … Barack Obama Goes Golfing
The Middle East is in crisis, turmoil and unrest beginning in Saudi Arabia as theymobilize troops to quell a revolt, Muammar el-Qaddafi Qaddafi Libyan situation spiraling out of control, gas prices are headed toward $4.00 a gallon, US federal debt is out of control, we have no coherent energy policy except to prevent energy production, the murders in Mexico spiral out of control on our southern open border, and state after state in the United States is on the verge of financial ruin … So what does President Barack Obama do … The One goes golfing.
In a sign that spring is nearing in Washington, President Obama hit the golf course Saturday …
A 10-vehicle motocade took Obama to the Andrews Air Force Base golf course …
His golfing partners Saturday are accustomed to hitting the links with the president: press staffer Ben Finkenbinder, trip director Marvin Nicholson and Department of Energy staffer David Katz.
GOOD GRIEF.I wonder how much tax payer dollars the 10 vehicle motorcade ate up in gas for The One’s trip to play golf? Are not there more important and critical things that this this President needs to be doing?

Rasmussen Poll: American Voters Support Wisconsin GOP Gov. Walker Over Unions by a 48% to 38% Margin
Americans siding with Governor Walker over unions in Wisconsin …
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, likely voters are siding with Governor Scott Walker over the Unions in Wisconsin by a 48% to 38% margin. Only 38% sided with the unions, which is a far cry from the image that the MSM is trying to show protesting in Madison, WI. Obviously Democrats are going to support the unions and did so in this survey with 68% of the vote, while Republicans, while 68% of Republicans sided with the governor. More importantly and telling, 58% of individuals not affiliated with either parity sided with Governor Walker. The winds of change are occuring in Wisconsin.
A sizable number of voters are following new Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s showdown with unionized public employees in his state, and nearly half side with the governor.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters agree more with the Republican governor in his dispute with union workers. Thirty-eight percent (38%) agree more with the unionized public employees, while 14% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
As stated by Hot Air, the unions appear to be losing the national battle for the hearts and minds of the American people. We the People seem to be growing weary of union entitlements while private citizens must make sacrifices every day.
