IG Horowitz Confirms Comey Under Investigation For Mishandling of Classified Memos
AND YOU WONDER WHY COMEY HAS GONE QUIET …
Inspector General Horowitz confirmed Monday during a Congressional hearing that former FBI Director James Comey is under investigation for his handling of classified information. James Comey is in a world of trouble. Former FBI Director Comey penned 7 memos stemming from 9 conversations with President Trump of which at least 4 of 7 of the memos contained classified information. A fired Comey then gave contents of his memos to his friend Daniel Richman to leak to the New York Times. The purpose of this was to prompt a Special Counsel, which is what occurred. It would appear those leaked memos are now being investigated by the IG.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed publicly Monday that his office is investigating James Comey for his handling of classified information as part of memos he shared documenting discussions with President Trump.
The inspector general’s comments confirmed reports dating back to April that the ex-FBI director was facing scrutiny, amid revelations that at least two of the memos he shared with his friend, Columbia University Professor Daniel Richman, contained information now deemed classified.
The confirmation came during Monday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, where Horowitz and FBI Director Christopher Wray testified on the findings in the IG’s report on the handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe.

How Political Bias Infected FBI Trump, Clinton Probes … Viva le Resistance
OF COURSE THERE WAS POLITICAL BIAS …
From Byron York of The Washington Examiner cones the following, not only was there bias at the FBI, IG even stated the instances. Byron York wrote of the shameful attempts by the usual suspects on the Democrat LEFT to try and claim no bias by writing the following, “The comments had an otherworldly feel to them, because the IG report not only found, but documented, at great length, an FBI culture that was infested with political bias — specifically a political bias against President Trump.” Com on folks, of course there was bias. If you cannot extract bias from two FBI lovebird agents discussing how to prevent candidate Donald Trump from becoming president and making sure Hillary Clinton would, then there really is no help for you.
It didn’t take long for defenders of the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation to claim that the Justice Department inspector general’s report found no bias in the bureau’s conduct of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, nor in the early days of the Trump-Russia probe.
“There was no bias in the FBI,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler of New York, ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said on MSNBC.
“No bias at the FBI,” Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, said on Fox News.
“No evidence … [that the FBI] acted on the basis of political bias,” Rep. Adam Schiff of California, top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, said in a statement.
The comments had an otherworldly feel to them, because the IG report not only found, but documented, at great length, an FBI culture that was infested with political bias — specifically a political bias against President Trump.
The inspector general, Michael Horowitz, discovered the bias when he examined the internal communications of FBI officials involved in the Clinton and Trump probes. (The new report specifically covers the email investigation, but also touches on the beginning of the Trump investigation, because they overlapped in time and because a significant number of key FBI officials were involved in both.) Horowitz discovered a group of officials, some of them in key positions in the Clinton-Trump investigations, who made no secret of their support of Clinton and opposition to Trump.
“Our task was made significantly more difficult because of text and instant messages exchanged on FBI devices and systems by five FBI employees involved in the [Clinton email] investigation,” Horowitz wrote in the executive summary of the report. “These messages reflected political opinions in support of former Secretary Clinton and against her then political opponent Donald Trump. Some of these text messages and instant messages mixed political commentary with discussions about the [Clinton email] investigation, and raised concerns that political bias may have impacted investigative decisions.”

Dinesh D’Souza Reacts to IG Report: “In America Today There Are Quite a Few Criminals with Badges” (VIDEO)
CRIMINALS WITH BADGES AT THE FBI, WHAT IS GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT IT?
Following the release of the IG report, Dinesh D’Souza put forth on ‘ The Ingraham Angle’ that the FBI’s conduct in investigating the Hillary Clinton email scandal and their was obvious institutionalized corruption and bias by far left operatives throughout the upper echelons of the FBI. Dinesh D’Souza stated, “In America today there are quite a few criminals with badges.” He was referring to the FBI agents that operated above the law and tried to influence an election with their bias and opening rooted for one candidate over another saying, they would stop the Trump presidency.
Dinesh D’Souza: I think the American people like me are arriving at the dismaying realization that in America today there are quite a few criminals with badges. Now, growing up as I did in India we had a lot of corruption and we knew that there were criminals on the street and there were criminals with badges. But the criminals with badges were more dangerous because they don’t just violate the law they corrupt the law.
I could not agree with Dinesh D’Souza more. At this point I could care less about Hillary Clinton. She is damaged goods and a two time loser. Just like every sane, normal person knows O.J. Simpson got away with a double murder, they also know that Hillary Clinton got away with her espionage crimes with her private server/emails as well. The IG report all but states that the investigation was mishandled by the FBI. However, Hillary Clinton is one person and is done, the FBI and DOJ is another story. There must be accountability and heads must role there. Americans cannot sit by and allow a government entity with such power to ever have this go on ever again. The bias and partisanship that was exuded by the heads of the FBI and DOJ are obvious. The systemic bias was also obvious. And … many of those bias people are still there and must be removed.

BRIBES: Numerous FBI Employees Accepted Inappropriate Gifts from Reporters & Spoke to Media Outlets Without Authorization
UM, THIS IS WHAT NORMAL AMERICANS REFER TO AS BRIBES …
Now we learn from the IG report that FBI agents accepted inappropriate gifts from the media and were in contact with the media with no authorization. These would be called leeks. There is no way this was legal or in compliance with FBI rules. Government employees are specifically restricted from taking gifts especially when it is for a quit pro quo. The FBI does have a compliance department, don’t they? These are firable offenses.
Numerous FBI employees accepted inappropriate gifts from reporters and routinely spoke to media outlets without authorization during the Hillary Clinton email probe, the Justice Department’s watchdog revealed in Thursday’s long-awaited accountability report.
The shocking revelation came just a week after the former security director for the Senate Intelligence Committee — who was in charge of maintaining all classified information from the Executive Office to the panel — was indicted for allegedly giving false statements to FBI agents looking into possible leaks to reporters.
“We identified instances where FBI employees improperly received benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events,” reads the report by the inspector general, Michael Horowitz.
But because the inappropriate gifts were outside the scope of the IG’s look at the Clinton email investigation, Horowitz added that the DOJ watchdog “will separately report on those investigations as they are concluded.”
Along with the FBI’s cozy relationship with the media, Horowitz’s report charges that officials in the bureau at “all levels of the organization” leaked information to reporters without authorization.
In a chart attached to the report, the IG identified dozens of FBI officials who spoke to reporters without permission, including several special agents, special agents in charge, secretaries management and program analysts, attorneys, an “FBI executive,” a deputy assistant director and an assistant director.
Remarkably, at least two unauthorized phone calls to reporters came from an “unattributed FBI HQ phone number,” the IG report says — suggesting that some employees at the bureau were brazenly leaking information from phones in the agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
“We have profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel that we have uncovered during our review,” the IG continued. “These leaks highlight the need to change what appears to be a cultural attitude among many in the organization.”
IG Report Refers 5 FBI Employees for Investigation
INSPECTOR GENERAL REFERS 5 FBI EMPLOYEES FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION ..
For those in the MSM that tell you the IG reports that came out yesterday was much-a-do about nothing, they are lying and acting like fake news. Among the constant ripping of the FBI, their tactics and actions, the IG report also referred 5 new FBI employees for further investigation. But of course there was no bias as to why these employees are being referred for further investigation.
The Justice Department inspector general has referred five FBI employees for investigation in connection with politically charged texts, revealing in its report on the Hillary Clinton email case that more bureau officials than previously thought were exchanging anti-Trump messages.
The long-awaited report largely dealt with the Justice Department and FBI’s handling of the Clinton case but uncovered numerous messages that “appeared to mix political opinion with discussions about the MYE investigation.”
MYE, or “Midyear Exam,” was the code used in the FBI to refer to the investigation into Clinton’s private email server.
“Some of these text messages and instant messages mixed political commentary with discussions about the Midyear investigation, and raised concerns that political bias may have impacted investigative decisions,” the report read.
Futher, the report said that while it found no evidence the views influenced investigative decisions, “five employees” have been referred for investigation into whether the messages violated FBI code.
“The FBI will handle these referrals pursuant to the FBI’s disciplinary investigation and adjudication processes, and will impose disciplinary measures as warranted,” the report read.
It is unclear which five FBI employees have been referred for investigation.
