UNBELIEVABLE … College Students at George Mason University Sign Petition in Support of ISIS (VIDEO)
Just when you thought American college kids could not get any more ignorant … They’re parents must be so proud.
Who would be dumb enough to sign a petition in support of ISIS … From MRC TV, courtesy of CNS News comes the following VIDEO that just makes one shake their head in disbelief. Student after clueless student walked up to the individual with the petition to support ISIS and they signed it. Media Research Center’s Dan Joseph was able to get 11 people to sign the petition. The only saving grace were two guys, one wearing a hockey jersey who stated, “you should be ashamed to even live in this country” and the other wearing tan shorts and shades who went on a tirade regarding the ignorant individuals that would sign such a petition. KUDOS to both of you.
Maybe one of the most head scratching exchange was when the petitioner said, “war is not the answer”. The response from the backpack wearing student, “No it’s not”. Then he says, “beadings are not the answer either” The petitioner quickly and sarcastically responds, “It depends on what the question is.” Then amazingly the student replies, “yeah, that’s true”.
I can only assume that the college students who were willing to sign my petition calling on President Obama to support the terror group, were ignorant to the group’s existence.
God, I hope so!
Over the period of about an hour, I stood on the campus of George Mason University in Northern Virginia and asked passing students to sign my petition. The petition was adorned with the ISIS flag above the unambiguous headline, “SUPPORT ISIS.”

Lt. Colonel Sherwood Baker Denied Entrance by Security Guard to See his Daughter at Rochester Adams High School in Oakland County, MI Because His Uniform May Offend Students
READING, WRITING AND RENT-A-COPS …
What is going on in the schools today in this country? Lt. Colonel Sherwood Baker was denied entrance to the high school that his daughter attends by a dim-bulb security guard because he was wearing his military uniform. WHAT!!! The incident took place at Rochester Adams High School in Oakland County, Michigan. The security guard told Lt. Colonel Baker, who has served 24 years in the U.S. Army, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, that the school’s policy does not allow military uniforms because it may ‘offend students.’ OFFEND STUDENTS? Are you kidding me … maybe it is the students who would be offended by a military uniform that need to be denied entrance to the school. Whoever the security guard was that did this needs to be fired. Obviously, the rent-a-cop overstepped his bounds and thought he was being all big and bad with an individual who actually commands respect.
When Lt. Colonel Sherwood Baker tried to meet his daughter, who was sitting in the counseling office at her high school, the Army officer was denied entrance by school security. When Baker asked why he couldn’t enter the office building, security told him that the school’s policy does not allow military uniforms because it may ‘offend students.’
The incident occurred at Rochester Adams High School in Oakland County, MI near Detroit.
Sherwood’s wife, Rachel Ferhadson, was waiting in the car said that Baker was told he would not be allowed on school property unless he changed his attire. The security officer claimed that men and women dressed in uniform were not allowed on the campus.
“They told him some kids might not understand and might be offended. So they gave him a choice, told him he could phone in to the office or go home and change his clothes,” said Ferhadson.
Not only should the school and district apologize, they also should make it a point to bring those in the US military Armed Forces into the school to understand just who makes i possible that they are able to live safe and get an education.
Rochester Schools Superintendent Robert Shaner apologized to the family of a U.S. Army officer who was turned away from a district high school for wearing his uniform.
Shaner, a veteran who served in the U.S. Marines from 1990-94, stressed that this is not the district’s policy. He said the security company is contracted and that school officials have met with the security officers to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
“I’ve been on deployment. I understand what people go through and the sacrifices people make. I understand the expectation to be respected for what you’ve done,” Shaner said. “I understand that what has taken place deeply hurts people. We will correct it.”
Shaner said that he has spoken with Baker and his wife to personally apologize and tell them “this is not the behavior we expect.”
Thank you for your service Lt. Colonel Sherwood Baker.

GW Students Unaware of 9/11 Anniversary, Or Journalist’s Names Beheaded by ISIS … But Are Able to Name Celebrities Involved in Nude Photo Scandal
SAD, JUST PLAIN SAD … SO MUCH FOR A COLLEGE EDUCATION THESE DAYS.
The Young America’s Foundation released a VIDEO on Wednesday, a day before the 13th anniversary of 9-11, where George Washington students were asked whether they were aware of the significance of the date and whether they knew the names of the two American journalists who were recently beheaded by the terrorist group ISIS. Pathetically, for the most part, they had no idea. Oh but fear not for the future America, most all could name the celebrities involved in the recent nude pic hacking scandal.
Other than the two co-eds in the beginning of the VIDEO who seem to have a clue and up on current affairs and know their history, perhaps the best answer of anyone in this VIDEO was when asked by the YAF spokeswoman Ashley Pratte asked about President Obama’s strategy for dealing with ISIS. One girl responded, ”Does he have one?”
The results of the study:
- 29 of 30 (97%) students could could name a celebrity involved in the nude hacking scandal.
- 4 of 30 (13%) could name either of the American journalists, James Foley or Steven Sotloff.
- 6 in 30 (20%) knew this week was the anniversary of 9-11. What’s even more tragic is not only have these kids forgotten, they may never have known.
Maybe we have finally figured out how to get the youth vote … just have all the candidates in their political ads be in their birthday suits?
