COULD THERE BE A SECOND SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE THE INVESTIGATORS?

House Republicans unveiled Tuesday a 12 page resolution calling for a second special counsel to investigate misconduct and possible crimes at the highest levels of the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. House Republicans and members of the Freedom Caucus have called for a special counsel as they believe that the FBI and DOJ are incapable of investigating themselves. I would agree. During the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s server/emails and the so-called Trump-Russian collusion investigations, we have been witness to bias, partisanship and a double standard from high ranking members of the DOJ & FBI, the likes we have never seen.

The resolution is backed by Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus as well as two of the group’s co-founders — Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

Fox News has learned the 12-page resolution will ask a second special counsel to probe matters related to three topics:The ending of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s personal email server, the progress of the Trump-Russia investigation from its origins through the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, and abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the warrant application process.

The resolution is expected to say that a second special counsel would have greater autonomy to investigate those issues than the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General. Last week, Inspector General Michael Horowitz told lawmakers that he had completed his draft report on the Clinton investigation and submitted it to the DOJ and the FBI.

Expressing  the  sense  of  Congress  that  the  Attorney  General
of  the  United  States  should  appoint  a  Special  Counsel
to  investigate  misconduct  at  the  Department  of  Justice
and  Federal  Bureau  of  Investigation,  including  an  inves-
tigation   of   abuse   of   the   FISA   warrant   process,   how
and  why  the  Hillary  Clinton  probe  ended,  and  how  and
why the Donald Trump-Russia probe began.

Whereas  there  is  an  urgent  need  for  the  appointment  of  a
second  Special  Counsel  in  light  of  evidence  that  raises
critical  concerns  about  decisions,  activities,  and  inherent
bias  displayed  at  the  highest  levels  of  the  Department  of
Justice   (DOJ)   and   Federal   Bureau   of   Investigation
(FBI)  regarding  FISA  abuse,  how  and  why  the  Hillary
Clinton  email  probe  ended,  and  how  and  why  the  Donald
Trump-Russia probe began;

Whereas  the  concerns  of  the  American  people  are  serious  and
the   issues   requiring   an   immediate,   unbiased,   inde-
pendent, and thorough investigation are broad;

Whereas  misconduct  during  the  2016  presidential  election  by
high-ranking  individuals  within  the  FBI  and  DOJ  may
have  led  to  the  premature  conclusion  of  the  FBI’s  2016
probe  into  then-presidential  candidate  and  former  Sec-
retary of State Hillary Clinton; [...]

Whereas  the  DOJ  and  FBI  cannot  be  expected  to  fully  inves-
tigate  themselves  regarding  this  matter:

You know the Mueller investigation is a sham when former Clinton pollster and political strategist Mark Penn says it is time to end the charade and witch hunt against President Donald Trump to protect us all.  Penn has stated that the Mueller probe has been fruit of the poisonous tree of the Hillary Clinton paid for Steele dossier , “What was originally sought after wasn’t found. This is now 1998 all over again with an investigation somehow related to a porn star. Come on, we need to get a North Korea deal, we need to push back on the Iranians. We need a good economy. We cannot treat our White House, presidents, people working campaigns and put them under this kind of Star Chamber investigation and expect our government to function.”

The “deep state” is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general’s report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming.

At this point, there is little doubt that the highest echelons of the FBI and the Justice Department broke their own rules to end the Hillary Clinton “matter,” but we can expect the inspector general to document what was done or, more pointedly, not done. It is hard to see how a year-long investigation of this won’t come down hard on former FBI Director James Comey and perhaps even former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who definitely wasn’t playing mahjong in a secret “no aides allowed” meeting with former President Clinton on a Phoenix airport tarmac.

With this report on the way and congressional investigators beginning to zero in on the lack of hard, verified evidence for starting the Trump probe, current and former intelligence and Justice Department officials are dumping everything they can think of to save their reputations.

But it is backfiring. They started by telling the story of Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat, as having remembered a bar conversation with George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign. But how did the FBI know they should talk to him? That’s left out of their narrative. Downer’s signature appears on a $25 million contribution to the Clinton Foundation. You don’t need much imagination to figure that he was close with Clinton Foundation operatives who relayed information to the State Department, which then called the FBI to complete the loop. This wasn’t intelligence. It was likely opposition research from the start.

In no way would a fourth-hand report from a Maltese professor justify wholesale targeting of four or five members of the Trump campaign. It took Christopher Steele, with his funding concealed through false campaign filings, to be incredibly successful at creating a vast echo chamber around his unverified, fanciful dossier, bouncing it back and forth between the press and the FBI so it appeared that there were multiple sources all coming to the same conclusion.

Time and time again, investigators came up empty. Even several sting operations with an FBI spy we just learned about failed to produce a Delorean-like video with cash on the table. But rather than close the probe, the deep state just expanded it. All they had were a few isolated contacts with Russians and absolutely nothing related to Trump himself, yet they pressed forward. Egged on by Steele, they simply believed Trump and his team must be dirty. They just needed to dig deep enough.

CBS Poll: Americans Give Trump Credit for Economy … 68% Say Trump Responsible for Good Economy

68% OF AMERICANS CREDIT TRUMP FOR MAKING AMERICAN ECONOMY GREAT AGAIN …

According to a recent CBS News Nation tracker poll, 68% of Americans give President Donald Trump the credit for the good economy we are currently experiencing. OUCH, that has to sting the liberal MSM. With all of the negative press coverage provided by the MSM, it would appear that Americans could care less what the bias media has to say and are looking at their wallets, pocketbooks and around them for themselves. The poll also states that 7 in 10 of whom say they’d prefer a candidate he backs and view Trump as a positive factor. Maybe the idiotic establishment GOP would like to get on board with the American people ahead of the 2018 primaries.

What does this mean? The closer we get to the 2018 midterm elections, the more the American people are favoring Trump and the GOP. The once huge double digit lead by Democrats in the polls are gone. Americans no longer have to listen to the Democrat and liberal media rhetoric, they can evaluate the results of Trump’s policies for themselves. Blue wave, really? Haven’t we seen this game play out before the 2016 elections when the LEFT said Hillary Clinton was a sure thing and the Democrats were going to take back the House and the Senate?

Nearly 2 in 3 Americans think the nation’s economy is in good shape, and most of them believe President’s Trump’s policies are at least somewhat responsible for that. More Republicans rate the economy positively than do Democrats.

As Congressional primaries continue and Americans look ahead six months to their midterm votes, Mr. Trump looks like a positive factor among Republicans, 7 in 10 of whom say they’d prefer a candidate he backs — but the president’s influence is limited to his own party. More Independents say they’re less likely to support a candidate backed by Mr. Trump.

This survey has followed the levels of Trump support and opposition over time. Today, buoyed by their feelings that the economy is at least somewhat good, the ranks of Mr. Trump’s strongest backers have risen to 22 percent from 18 percent back in January. Many of these backers had previously adopted a wait-and-see approach, labeling themselves as more conditional in their support a few months ago. Supporters overall – both strong and conditional — together remain less than a majority, however, while the ranks of the strongest Trump opponents have remained steady.

Wow, even Democrats are starting to call Trump derangement syndrome a mental illness. As reported at the SF Chronicle, Former San Fransisco Mayor Willie Brown said it is time for Democrats to stop bashing President Donald Trump. Brown went on to say, they might even need to check themselves into a 12-step program. Brown actually said the words that most all in the LEFT and MSM refuse to admit, President Trump is more popular with the American people than they will ever admit. Trump’s policies are popular and working. The economy is booming, unemployment rates for blacks and Hispanics are at all-time lows, and his and the GOP’s approval ratings are trending upward. This even with all the negative bashing from Democrats and their mouth pieces in the MSM. Trump is making America great again and all the LEFT has is Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It’s time for the Democrats to stop bashing President Trump.

It’s not going to be easy, given his policies and personality. It might even mean checking into a 12-step program. But setting a winning agenda is like maneuvering an aircraft carrier. It takes time to change course. And if they want to be on target for the November midterm elections, the Democrats need to start changing course now.

Like it or not, a significant number of Americans are actually happy these days. They are making money. They feel safe, and they agree with with the president’s protectionist trade policies, his call for more American jobs, even his immigration stance.

The jobs growth reports, the North Korea summit and the steady economy are beating out the Stormy Daniels scandal and the Robert Mueller investigation in Middle America, hands down.

So you are not going to win back the House by making it all about him.

President Donald Trump shook hands with former three detainees Kim Dong-chul, Kim Hak-song and Tony Kim as he welcomed them home after their imprisonment in North Korea. The visuals below in the videos are amazing. You can witness the emotion from these three men and their new found freedom and what freedom truly looks like when it is taken away. One never expects good things to happen at 3 AM in the morning; however, these are the types of stories that makes it proud to make you an America.

Even CNN had to acknowledge President Donald Trump’s amazing accomplishments, History in the making as Trump welcomes prisoners home.

Just maybe, the extraordinary scene that unfolded in the dead of night on an airfield outside Washington early Thursday is the start of something truly historic.

President Donald Trump welcomed home three American prisoners from North Korea, citing their release as proof that his diplomacy with the isolated state is delivering. In what must have been a surreal experience, Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak-song and Kim Sang Duk — who were only released from custody on Wednesday — were suddenly plunged into a media circus.

“I think you probably broke the all-time in history television rating for 3 o’clock in the morning,” Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews as he stood alongside the freed prisoners.

In extraordinary scenes, Trump and the first lady clapped and cheered as the men walked down the steps with their arms in the air and giving triumphant ‘V’ signs signifying both peace and victory.

Their first steps back on American soil came hours earlier, in Alaska, when the plane carrying them home stopped to refuel.

On the tarmac in suburban Maryland, Trump said: ‘These are great people. Frankly, we didn’t think this was going to happen, but it did. It was important to get these people out. This is a special night for these three really great people.’

Trump also thanked Kim Jong-un for freeing ‘the folks early.’ calling it ‘a wonderful thing’ and adding he believes the North Korean despot ‘really wants to do something’ and bring the hermit kingdom ‘into the real world.’

He said: ‘We’re starting off on a new footing. I really think we have a very good chance of doing something very meaningful, and if anybody would’ve said that five years ago, 10 years ago, even a year ago, you would’ve said, ‘That’s not possible.’

‘My proudest achievement will be when we denuclearize that entire [Korean] peninsula,’ he added.
