Food Stamp Enrollment Dips to Lowest Level in 8 Years

According to the latest statistics released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) via Breitbart, the overall enrollment in the nation’s food stamp program has dipped to its lowest level in eight years. This is a far cry from the days of former President Obama. Instead, President Trump is making Americans lives better in so many ways and taking them off the dependency of the federal government.

The latest USDA data reveals that enrollment in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)—the federal government program that administers food stamps—dropped to 40,083,954 in March 2018.

The last time enrollment in the food stamp program reached that level was February 2010, when 39,588,993 people participated in the nation’s food stamp program.

Although overall enrollment has reached its lowest point in eight years, food stamp enrollment has been declining steadily since 2013 and has only continued throughout President Trump’s first year in office.

Under Trump, 2.2 million fewer people have discontinued their participation in SNAP, mainly due to the Trump administration’s attempts to reform SNAP by controlling program costs at the federal and state levels.

It is the first time sitting leaders from both countries have ever met and marks a remarkable turnaround in the men’s personal relationship.

Last night at the Tony Awards, while introducing Bruce Springsteen’s musical performance, Robert De Niro had a few choice words for President Donald Trump … “F*ck Trump.” His comments were met by thunderous applause and a standing ovation from the out of touch liberal entertainment lapdog audience. Some of the media outlets censored the comments, some did not. How very sad. One would think that De Niro might have a bit more class and the entertainment industry would learn once and for all that America is sick of them making everything political. It is this type of behavior that makes middle America continue to distance themselves from the Entertainment industry and the LEFT. As an aside, the 72nd annual Tony Awards honoring stage performances was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City Sunday night. Who knew?

Honestly, I could care less what your political opinion of Trump is, I have more likely more friends that oppose him than voted for Trump. However, have a moniker of respect. Some of them are actually coming around to some of his ideas. Discussing and intelligently debating why you are against this policies is one thing. Just saying “F you” is ignorant, small, and pathetic. But it gets you cheers from the group think crowd.

And as this LEFT-wing zealots make fools of themselves and deride the president, Donald Trump is in Singapore in a high stakes summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un  to potentially denuclearizing the Korean peninsula. The reality is that the U.S. economy is booming and it is President Donald Trump and the GOP who are responsible. Democrats have been nothing more than obstructionists and the “resistance” to President Trump’s agenda. Now all Americans, black, Hispanic, Asian, white, female, male, are all befitting from Trump’s economic agenda. Pelosi and Democrats would have you believe this is bad. Really? This is all they got and it is a lie.
