President-elect Donald Trump Cheered at Army-Navy Game (VIDEO)

GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY … GO TRUMP, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

President-elect Donald Trump was cheered at today’s Army-Navy game.

Donald Trump is partaking in one of the nation’s most storied football rivalries, saluting U.S. troops at the annual Army-Navy game on Saturday as he prepares to enter the White House.

The future commander in chief attended the 117th game between the military academies at West Point and Annapolis, which is being held on relatively neutral ground in Baltimore. The M&T Bank scoreboard showed the president-elect late in the first quarter; he waived and drew cheers from the crowd, though not at the level of the noise generated by Army’s first-quarter touchdown.

The Black Knights are hoping to end a 14-year Navy win streak and took a 7-0 lead into the second quarter.

Trump tweeted on Saturday morning that he was going to the game “as a show of support for our Armed Forces.” He planned to spend the first half of the game in the box of David Urban, a West Point graduate and Republican adviser and the second half in the box of retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North, a graduate of Annapolis.

U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith Haults Michigan Recount Charade by Green Party candidate Jill Stein

MICHIGAN PRESIDENTIAL VOTE RECOUNT STOPPED

U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith has sided with a state appeals court Wednesday in stopping the Michigan presidential vote recount. Previously, a Michigan appeals court ruled 3-0 that Green Party candidate Jill Stein should not have been allowed to demand a recount because she is not an “aggrieved candidate.” Gee, really? How would anyone be allowed to claim they were aggrieved in the voting process when they only won 1.1% of the vote? Thus, the recount sham on the part of Green Party candidate Jill Stein is over and it is as it was, TRUMP WINS MICHIGAN!!! In fact, thanks to Jill Stein’s joke recount efforts, Trump picked up even more votes than originally determined.

A federal judge has stopped the hand recount of nearly 5 million ballots in Michigan, a decision that seems to secure Donald Trump’s narrow victory in the traditionally blue state.

U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith, who effectively ordered the recount to begin Monday, sided with a state appeals court Wednesday in halting the effort, ABC News reported.

On Tuesday, a Michigan appeals court ruled 3-0 that Green Party candidate Jill Stein should not have been allowed to demand a recount because she is not an “aggrieved candidate.” Goldsmith, after hearing arguments from the state Republican Party and GOP attorney general, agreed.

“Because there is no basis for this court to ignore the Michigan court’s ruling and make an independent judgment regarding what the Michigan Legislature intended by the term ‘aggrieved,’ plaintiffs have not shown an entitlement to a recount,” Goldsmith said.

Politico/Morning Consult Poll: 67% Give Favorable View of Donald Trump’s Carrier Deal to Save Nearly 1000 American Jobs from Moving to Mexico

THIS SHOULD COME AS A NO DAH POLL, BUT SADLY THERE ARE THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH SAVING AMERICAN JOBS ..

A recent Politico/Morning Consult poll shows that president-elect Donald Trump is getting very high marks for his negotiating with Carrier to save nearly 1000 American jobs from being sent to Mexico. 67% polled had a favorable onion of the action, which includes 87% of self-identified Republicans, 54% of independents and even 40% of Democrats. While many on the Left whine about the deal and some on the right in the “never Trump” crowd, an overwhelming majority approve. Saving jobs is always a good thing, especially with the manner is how this was done. With all due respect to Sarah Palin and those on the right, this was not crony capitalism. Carrier keeps some 800 jobs in Indiana that had been slated to go to Mexico in return for $7 million in state financial incentives. $7 million? That’s a piddence in the grand scope of things. Carrier looked to save $70-80 million with the move to Mexico. They did this deal because they know there is going to be a business man in the White House who is going to make America great again for business.

Donald Trump thumbs up

Donald Trump’s first major action as president-elect — the deal he and Vice President-elect Mike Pence struck last week with Carrier Corp. — is earning high marks from American voters, a new Politico/Morning Consult poll shows.

Voters surveyed overwhelmingly view Trump’s negotiations with Carrier — which resulted in about 1,000 manufacturing jobs at the heating, ventilation and air conditioning company remaining in Indiana rather than moving to Mexico — as an appropriate use of presidential prerogative. And a majority of voters say the Carrier deal gives them a more favorable view of Trump, though his overall favorability ratings were virtually unchanged from mid-November.

While some conservatives and conservative groups — including The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board and former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin — have decried the Carrier deal as “crony capitalism,” the Politico/Morning Consult poll shows it’s a political winner for Trump. Sixty percent of voters say Carrier’s decision to keep some manufacturing jobs in Indiana, where Pence is still serving as governor, gives them a more favorable view of Trump. That includes not only 87 percent of self-identified Republicans, but also 54 percent of independents and 40 percent of Democrats.

Only 9 percent say it makes them view Trump less favorably, while 22 percent say it doesn’t have an impact either way.

At some point, some of you are going to have to stop whining about every thing this man does. I, especially mean those of you on the right. Its getting old and you sould like the Left. I am all for capitalism and free markets, but do not begin to tell me that this was a bad deal.

Donald Trump Picks Dr. Ben Carson to be HUD Secretary

FANTASTIC AND SOLID PICK!!!

The Politico is reporting that President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Dr. Ben Carson to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Carson stated, “I am honored to accept the opportunity to serve our country in the Trump administration. I feel that I can make a significant contribution particularly by strengthening communities that are most in need.” Trump has made the fixing of the inner cities high on his agenda (video 9:35). Donald Trump said in s statement,  ”We have talked at length about my urban renewal agenda and our message of economic revival, very much including our inner cities. Ben shares my optimism about the future of our country and is part of ensuring that this is a Presidency representing all Americans.”

Dr. Benjamin Carson’s Amazing Speech at the National Prayer Breakfast with Obama Present

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Dr. Ben Carson, a onetime political rival who became one of his leading surrogates on the campaign trail, to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Carson, who challenged Trump during the Republican primary, is the first African-American selected to serve in the president-elect’s Cabinet. The retired neurosurgeon has little experience in housing or management, but he has weighed in on the issue. In a 2015 op-ed for The Washington Times, he labeled a new fair housing rule a “social-engineering” scheme.

“Ben Carson has a brilliant mind and is passionate about strengthening communities and families within those communities,” Trump said Monday morning in the statement from his transition team. “We have talked at length about my urban renewal agenda and our message of economic revival, very much including our inner cities. Ben shares my optimism about the future of our country and is part of ensuring that this is a Presidency representing all Americans. He is a tough competitor and never gives up.”

Dick Cheney Says to CNN’s Barbara Starr: Trump Took Us To Point Where We “Don’t Need You Guys Anymore”

WILL TRUMP MAKE THE MSM IRRELEVANT OR HAVE THEY ALREADY DONE THAT TO THEMSELVES?

Over the weekend, former Vice President Dick Cheney and Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta discussed the new era of foreign policy under President-elect Donald Trump with CNN’s Barbara Starr at the Reagan Library. The media seems to be worried about Donald Trump’s tweets. That is when Cheney provided the following comment as to why maybe the MSM is in such a huff over Trump’s tweets, do they feel that they will be made irrelevant and not needed anymore? Funny line. I bet the media never thought they would miss Dick Cheney.

Honestly, since it is pretty much obvious, especially after the last election cycle that journalism is dead, maybe it is the media that made their own-self irrelevant.

“I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.”

RCP Transcript:

FMR. VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY: One of the most important things [President-elect Trump] can do is exactly the opposite of what his predecessor did. With respect to Iran and nuclear weapons, and don’t make the mistakes that the situation he is inheriting from the Obama administration represented. With respect to our status in the world, the capabilities of our forces, the belief on the part of I believe many of our friends and allies that they can no longer trust the United States or count on our guarantees. I think we need to do major progress and reverse the Obama policies and not that’s not a place for President Trump to start.

BARBARA STARR, CNN: But Secretary Cheney, Mr. Vice President, you are someone who has a long history of being very precise in your words, in your thinking and your analysis. I’m not aware of anytime you ever said anything very casually. [Laughter]

CHENEY: Oh, now, Barbara.

STARR: At least that I can’t recall. I heard that Air Force general that you fired. Um, that’s another story we’ll get to later.

So, c’mon, let’s hear it. What are you — what is your, you know, you hear this casual language. And when I say that don’t go out tweeting that I am anti-this or anti-that. The language of tweets is not necessarily as nuanced and contextual as U.S. foreign policy is. I think that is something that we can all agree on. So when you see this, seriously, what concerns does it cause you? If you were sitting with him and could give him some advice about all of this — about language, about meaning of words — what would you say? What would your advice be?

CHENEY: Well, I, first of all, am not sitting with him.

STARR: Would you if asked?

CHENEY: Would if I asked?

STARR: Would you?

CHENEY: Certainly, if the President of the United States asks for advice. I would have been happy to advise Barack Obama but he never asked me. [Laughter]

STARR: So, again, language and words. [Laughter]

STARR: You see, the man never says anything casual.

CHENEY: I think he needs to be careful but he’ll learn as he goes along. I think he is putting some brains and good people with him. I am a big fan of Mike Pence. I know Mike well from his 12 years in the House and I think he’s a great choice as Vice President. He’s going to play a major role. I think Mr. Trump is taking very, very seriously the job that he has gotten now. Staffing up the administration.

I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.
