Comey Wrote in Memos He Later Leaked to Liberal Media … “I Don’t Do Sneaky Things, I Don’t Leak, I Don’t Do Weasel Moves”

COMEY WAS AGAINST LEAKING, BEFORE HE WAS FOR IT … IF THE SNEAKY WEAZIL FITS, WEAR IT.

Who needs to buy Comey’s book when you can read his memos for free? The below comments came from the redacted memos of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey’s redacted memos  that were published online Thursday evening.

In one of his memo’x dated January 28th 2017, Comey recalls a dinner he had with President Trump in the Green Room at the White House. Let’s just get to the unbelievable part, you can read all the details … James Comey told Trump he could count on him to always tell the truth, stating, “I said I don’t do sneaky things, I don’t leak, I don’t do weasel moves.” Seriously? Sir, that’s all you seemed capable of as it was not but a few months later after Comey was fired that he leaked the memos to the liberal media via a friend. He admitted to this during Congressional testimony.

“I said I don’t do sneaky things, I don’t leak, I don’t do weasel moves.”

Comey Gives Weasels a Bad Name

Who finds this completely comical that they very individual who said he did not leak and do sneaky things, did just that? You are just so credible James Comey, That and the fact that these memos are released when Comey’s former #2 at the FBI that the Justice Department inspector general referred his finding that former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe repeatedly misled investigators to Washington’s top federal prosecutor, who will determine whether McCabe should be charged with a crime. Yup, nothing sneaky here.

The Justice Department inspector general referred his finding that former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe repeatedly misled investigators to Washington’s top federal prosecutor, who will determine whether McCabe should be charged with a crime, according to people familiar with the matter.

The referral to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia occurred some time ago, after the inspector general concluded McCabe had lied to investigators or his boss, then-FBI Director James B. Comey, on four occasions, three of them under oath.

The U.S. attorney’s office met with McCabe’s legal team in recent weeks, though it was not immediately clear whether prosecutors there were conducting their own investigation or believed criminal charges are appropriate.

AG Sessions Appoints Federal Prosecutor U.S. Attorney Huber to Evaluating Alleged FBI, DOJ Wrongdoing … No Second Special Counsel Appointed

NO 2ND SPECIAL COUNCIL? HOW THE HELL IS SOME ONE SUPPOSED TO INVESTIGATE THEIR BOSS?

Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed federal prosecutor U.S. Attorney Huber to investigate and evaluate certain issues involving the FBI, the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One. However, Sessions states he is not appointing a second special counsel, at least at this point. AG Sessions has been a major disappointment. One has to ask, how can a federal prosecutor actually investigate their boss? Huber will be investigating Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, how exactly does that work? It is obvious that an independent council is needed to investigate the FBI and AG’s office, that individual cannot be a part of the swamp.

President Trump, please fire AG Sessions and replace him with a pitbull. If there was ever a time where a special council should be appointed, this would be it.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed Thursday a federal prosecutor was evaluating certain issues involving the FBI, the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, but said he would not appoint a second special counsel at this point. In a letter directed to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, House

Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, Sessions revealed that he asked U.S. Attorney John Huber to lead the evaluation into issues raised by the committees in recent months.

“I write in response to recent letters requesting the appointment of a Special Counsel to review certain prosecutorial and investigative determinations made by the Department of Justice in 2016 and 2017. I take the concerns you raise seriously,” Sessions wrote, noting how important it was that the American people and Congress had “confidence” in the Justice Department.

“While we continue to believe the appointment of a second Special Counsel is necessary, this is a step in the right direction. We expect that U.S. Attorney Huber, given his reputation, will conduct an independent and thorough investigation. Such an investigation is critical to restoring the reputation of both the Bureau and DOJ in the eyes of the American people,” Goodlatte and Gowdy responded in a statement.

Sessions referenced a November 2017 letter sent by Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd, first reported by Fox News, directing senior federal prosecutors to evaluate “certain issues” requested by congressional Republicans, involving the sale of Uranium One and alleged unlawful dealings related to the Clinton Foundation.

On Nov. 13, 2017, Boyd wrote: “These senior prosecutors will report directly to the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General [Rod Rosenstein], as appropriate, and will make recommendations as to whether any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any matters merit the appointment of a Special Counsel.”

Trey Gowdy Says A Second Special Counsel ‘May Be Unavoidable’ (VIDEO)

SHOULD THERE BE A SECOND INDEPENDENT COUNSEL?

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) thinks there should be a second independent counsel stating, so Congress has proven itself incapable of investigating this FISA abuse. DOJ should not be looking into it. We need an independent arbiter that’s either the inspector general or special counsel.”

Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said in an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo Sunday that “we’re trending perhaps towards another special counsel” to investigate the Department of Justice

“You know, Maria, this Democrat memo makes me smile. If it were up to Adam Schiff, if it were up to him it would have been a haiku, and not a memo because he did everything he could to keep us from finding out any of the information that was in either one of those memos,” he said.

“So Congress has proven itself incapable of investigating this FISA abuse. DOJ should not be looking into it. We need an independent arbiter that’s either the inspector general or special counsel.”

Gowdy also said, “Maria over the weekend, I’d counted up almost two dozen witnesses that the inspector general would not have access to, were he alone conducting this investigation, so I think we’re trending perhaps towards another special counsel because of this unique fact pattern and the fact that there are witnesses outside the reach of the inspector general.”

DOJ Reviewing Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf Who Tipped Off Illegals of Immigration Raids

DOJ REVIEWING ACTIONS OF OAKLAND, CA MAYOR WHO TIPPED OFF CRIMINAL ILLEGALS …

As reported at the LA Times, the DOJ is reviewing the actions of Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf who tipped off illegals of pending ICE raids. Her actions prevented many criminal illegals to flee and avoid arrest. One has to wonder just how are her actions not criminal in their own right? Whose side is she on? California is now so screwed up that we have mayors who are supposed to follow the laws of the United States, but would rather treat illegals better than they would actual legal citizens. The fact that a mayor helped criminals evade the law is unreal. Hopefully the DOJ will prosecute Schaaf and she will be jailed for her actions.

Libby Schaaf

The White House on Thursday said the Department of Justice was reviewing the actions of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, who last weekend alerted residents in advance of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in Northern California.

“I think it’s outrageous that a mayor would circumvent federal authorities and certainly put them in danger by making a move such as that,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters.

She said Schaaf’s actions were under “review” but would not be more specific.

Justin Berton, a spokesman for Schaaf, said the mayor’s office is unaware of any review and declined to comment further. A Justice Department spokesman in the Bay Area also declined to comment.

Schaaf has defended her statement, saying she felt it was her duty to warn residents of the ICE action.

Oakland, like many California cities, has declared itself a sanctuary for those here illegally, and officials there have vowed to fight President Trump’s immigration crackdown.
