Liberal James Carville Says, It Would be ‘Very, Very Difficult’ for Dems to Retake Senate in 2018

ALTHOUGH THANKS TO ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS, GOP GAINS COULD HAVE BEEN AMAZING …

As reported at The Hill, Democratic operative James Carville expressed doubt, on the John Catsimatidis, AM 970 in New York, and stated that it would be “very, very difficult” for Democrats to take back the U.S Senate it 2018. Carville placed the chances at well below 50 percent. Carville also went on to say that “no one” was in charge of the Democratic Party at the moment. The problem for the Democrats is a numbers game. In 2018, Democrats must defend 25 seats (23 Dems, 2 Independents caucus with Dems), while Republicans only 8.  Democrat senators are running for reelection in states Trump carried last November. Trump won half of those states , Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia  by double digits. Although I give Democrats pretty much no chance of taking back the Senate as it is much more likely they will see the GOP gain seats. The fact of the matter is that Republicans, lead by GOP Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell are blowing it. Their lack of leadership, lack of a plan and lack of any balls to help pass the Trump agenda will all but depress Republican vote in 2018. The Senate Republicans actually had a chance to get to the magical 60 Senate seats, but they have blown it. In some bizarre set of circumstances, they act like they enjoy being the minority party.

Mitch McConnell must go!

2018 Senate map

Democratic operative James Carville is expressing doubt that his party will take back the Senate in 2018, saying Saturday that it would be “very, very difficult,” to do so.

“I think right now most Democrats are trying to focus on the 2018 elections and trying to recruit people and keep incumbents, and you know I would say we have a pretty good chance of taking the House back. The Senate is very, very difficult,” Carville told John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York.

“The problem in the Senate is we have a large number of seats we have to hold in states that Donald Trump carried. Indiana, Missouri, you know, places like that we have to hold seats,” he continued.

“The only places where we have an opportunity for pick up are, you know, Nevada is pretty good. After that Arizona is less good, then you’re down to Texas and Alabama, and for Democrats to win the Senate back, they have to pick up three seats,” Carville said.

More from the Washington Free Beacon on the Democrats bleak efforts on winning back the Senate in 2018.

Democrats need to pick up three seats in 2018 to win back control of the chamber, but they’re defending seats in multiple states that President Donald Trump won handily in 2016. Sens. Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.), Joe Donnelly (D., Ind.), Heidi Heitkamp (R., N.D.), and Joe Manchin (D., W. Va.) are among Democrats up for re-election in 2018 who are vulnerable to being defeated by Republican challengers.

The pick-up attempts for Democrats are more difficult, with Republicans mainly defending seats in red states.

“The problem in the Senate is we have a large number of seats we have to hold in states that Donald Trump carried,” Carville said. “Indiana, Missouri, you know places like that that we have to hold seats … I would say the chances of the Democrats winning the House back, let’s just say it’s 50-50 … [The chance of] winning the Senate is substantially less.”

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) Says In Some Parts of the Country, Nancy Pelosi Is More Toxic Than Donald Trump (VIDEO)

WHEN YOU ARE RIGHT, YOU ARE RIGHT, DEMOCRATS ARE MORE TOXIC THAN TRUMP …

Following the disastrous special election in Georgia this past week, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) openly criticized Democrat House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and said it was time his party did some soul-searching to figure out what the problem was. One problem is Nancy Pelosi and that in many areas of the country, she is more toxic than President Donald Trump. Ryan went on to say that Pelosi has become a focal point for the GOP to run against.

“The brand is just bad,” Ryan said. “I don’t think people in the beltway are realizing just how toxic the Democratic Party brand is in so many parts of the country.”

Lemon asked Ryan if he believed Pelosi was more toxic than Donald Trump.

“The honest answer is in some areas of the country — yes, she is,” Ryan said. ” I think that in certain areas, like in some of these special election districts, it doesn’t benefit our candidates to be tied to her. “

However, I have to disagree with Rep. Ryan’s overall premise. He thinks that Nancy Pelosi is the over-reaching problem. This is not true. Pelosi is a symptom of the problem. not the actual issue. The real issue is what the Democrat party has become. The Democrat party is far-LEFT, nearly half wanted a socialist like Bernie Sanders, not a Democrat, a self-proclaimed socialist to be their candidate. Had it not been for a rigged Democrat primary with “super delegates” pushing Hillary over the finish line, Sanders could have won. This is how far left the party has lurched. This is the problem with the party, they are toxic to the very blue collar workers that make up the electorate in once blue states like West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa and Wisconsin. The Democrats are no longer the party of the working class. They have not been for many years.  The Democrat party has become the party of the West coast/East coast elites, the party of Hollywood, the party of LGBTQ, the party of Black Lives Matters. The Democrat party is no longer the party of JFK or even Bill Clinton. Not even close.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Says She is Worth the Trouble (VIDEO)

YES NANCY, YOU CERTAINLY ARE WORTH THE TROUBLE FOR THE GOP …

Democrat House Minority leader, San Fran Nan defends herself against some of the recent critics in her own party that she is to blame for the Democrat’s recent string of losses to the GOP and that she needs to step down. Pelosi said, “she was worth the trouble”. She went on to say that she was not disrespectful of people’s views. Really? Unless you are a Republican with views. My person opinion is STAY!!! I don’t want you to go anywhere. She is the poster child why anyone in a red/purple district or a blue collar worker living in a blue state need never vote for a Democrat representative. For they will be beholden to Pelosi and her far-Left political agenda.

Wow, listen to how defensive Nancy Pelsoi gets to the question posed to her that some in the Democrat party feel its time for her to step down. She literally says, its not up to them (0:40) to determine when she leaves. OMG, she goes on to tout herself as a “master legislator” and a “strategic astute leader.” You just keep up that master legislating and astute leadership Nancy, Republicans and Conservatives in the United States are counting on it!

Not everyone thinks Pelosi should stay, some think there should be new leadership in the Democrat party. Nancy Pelosi’s time has ‘come and gone.’ Watch the liberal MSM on MSNBC defend Pelosi and question how dare they adopt the Republican notion that she is an out of touch California liberal. However, Rep. Kathleen Rice (D-NY) stood her ground and stated, there comes a time and place for leadership change and to usher in the future.

“We can’t keep losing races and keep the same leadership in place. You have a baseball team that keeps losing year after year. At some point, the coach has got to go, right?” said Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-N.Y., on Friday.

The frustrated Democrats met in Rice’s office a day earlier to discuss their options as they face long odds of knocking out the woman who has led the Democratic caucus for nearly 15 years from minority to majority and back, raised tens of millions of dollars and has had multiple legislative successes. Their action plan: Keep talking. Keep raising the concern that something needs to change within the ranks of the party’s leadership.

Said Rice: “The Republican playbook has been very successful. It’s not fair. It’s not accurate in its attacks on our leader, but it’s effective. They keep winning and we keep losing.”

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra Adds Four More States to State Travel Ban … Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas

WHO FINDS THIS IRONIC … LIBERALS IN CALIFORNIA HAVE A BLACK LIST TRAVEL BAN TO STATES IN THE UNITED STATES, BUT OPPOSE A TRAVEL BAN FROM TERRORIST COUNTRIES TO AMERICA?

This should be subtitled: Be very careful what you ask for, it might come true. On Thursday, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra doubled the number of states subject to California’s state-sponsored travel ban adding Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas. At some point, California will be adding 49 states to their travel ban.  The California travel ban law that took effect in January; however, there are a number of exemptions to the ban on travel. For example, the the restrictions do apply to the University of California and other state schools, but the attorney general’s office would not say whether the rules would prevent an athletic team from playing an away game at one of the affected states. Well of course not, state run schools are not bought and paid for by the tax payers of California (sarcasm intended). Come on libs, grow some CO-JONES, put your money where your mouth is. A travel ban is a travel ban … why would playing a basketball game in Lexington, Kentucky against the Wildcats or a football game in Alabama against the Crimson Tide be any different? This is going to come back and bite California finally in a major way. This liberal intolerance could backfire on California big time.

intolerance

Decrying a “scourge of discrimination” against LGBT individuals in four states, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Thursday doubled the number of states subject to California’s state-sponsored travel ban.

Speaking in San Francisco, Becerra increased the number of states that California state employees cannot travel to on official government business from four to eight.

The four additions — Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas — each passed state legislation that took effect starting in March that Becerra alleged.

discriminates against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their families.

“The state of California is not going to participate in discriminatory conduct by other states,” Becerra said.

The states join Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee on California’s list of banned states. The first four were put in place by then-Attorney General Kamala Harris.

Could this legislation effect college sports and in turn recruiting to California colleges?

Four FBS California public schools are scheduled to travel to one of the eight states this season:

Cal at North Carolina
Fresno State at Alabama
San Jose State at Texas
UCLA at Memphis

And these football games are also on the books in later seasons:

2019: Cal at Ole Miss
2020: Fresno State at Texas A&M
2021: Cal at TCU
2024: Cal at Auburn

Johnny Depp Says On Trump: ‘When Was The Last Time An Actor Assassinated A President?’ (VIDEO)

I WOULD SAY THIS IS SHOCKING BUT IT HAS BECOME THE NORM FROM THE VILE AND HATEFUL LEFT …

Actor Johnny Depp referenced assassinating Donald Trump during an appearance at Glastonbury, England during Cineramageddon. Depp said, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” REALLY? And we wonder why lunatics have attempted to assassinate Republican law makers why practicing baseball? REALLY? Maybe American law enforcement and the Secret Service need to pay Mr. Depp a visit when he returns home. This over the top crap of threats to Trump and those on the Right from the lunatic LEFT have got to end. Some one needs to be made an example of and prosecuted. This is not free speech and to hide behind the cowardice that it is a joke, is a joke.

The Guardian:

“I think he needs help and there are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go,” Depp said, to cheers from the crowd.

“It is just a question – I’m not insinuating anything. By the way, this is going to be in the press. It will be horrible. I like that you are all a part of it.

“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” he asked in reference to the death of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.

“I want to qualify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while and maybe it is time,” he added.
