TERRORIST DEAD AT PARIS KOCHER DELI ….

The hostage situation is over at the Kosher deli in Paris, France. French police raided the deli and have killed the terrorist gunman  Amedy Coulibaly. Four hostages are dead as well; however, police are saying that they were murdered by Amedy Coulibaly before he was killed.

Police stormed a kosher supermarket on the eastern edge of Paris on Friday, killing a gunman linked to the killing of a policewoman and a deadly attack on a French satirical newspaper.

Four people were killed when the gunman, Amedy Coulibaly, 32, entered the store, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said. Fifteen hostages in the store were later freed.

In a brief address to the nation, French President Francois Hollande described the attack in Paris’ Porte de Vincennes — one of the main Jewish communities in the city — as a “horrific anti-Semitic act.”

“We have to be vigilant,” he said. “I am issuing a call to unity. This is our best weapon.”

It is now being reported that there are 5 hostages inside the kosher deli.

A police official says the man who has taken at least five people hostage in a kosher market in Paris appears linked to the newsroom massacre earlier this week that left 12 people dead.

The official, who was not authorized to speak about the situation, said the man opened fire in the market Friday and declared “you know who I am.”

Paris police released a photo of Amedy Coulibaly, 32, as a suspect in the killing Thursday of a policewoman, and the official named him as the man holed up in the market. He said some hostages have been gravely wounded.

HOSTAGE SITUATION IN FRANCE FOLLOWING CHARLIE HEBDO MASSACRE …

Said and Cherif Kouachi, the two terrorist brothers responsible for the savage massacre at Charlie Hebdo in Paris, France that left twelve dead are reported to be barricaded in a warehouse with one hostage. The Kouachi brothers stormed into a warehouse near Charles de Gaulle airport and forced the workers out, saying “We don’t kill civilians.” French law enforcement officers have surrounded a building about 40 kilometers (25 miles) northeast in the town Dammartin-en-Goele.

One lawmaker said they told negotiators they “want to die as martyrs.”

The terrorist brothers suspected in the Charlie Hebdo massacre barricaded themselves inside a warehouse with a hostage Wednesday, just hours before a second gunman killed two and took multiple people hostage inside a Paris deli, French media reported.

It appears that the two hostage situations and the Thursday killing of a French police officer are all related.

“Armed and dangerous” brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi stormed into a printing company’s warehouse Friday after they led police on a chase through the Paris area, cops said. The two, accused of slaughtering 12 at the French magazine Wednesday, demanded the workers leave.

“Get out. We don’t kill civilians,” they said, according to Sky News.

At least 1,500 police officers and snipers surrounded the building and began phone negotinations with the Charlie Hebdo massacre suspects. The brothers told officials they “want to die as martyrs,” a French politician told the Telegraph.

The situation is tense and fluid  as the standoff continues between authorities mobilizing commando-style units capable of storming the single-story printing business in Dammartin-en-Goele and the terrorists who want to die as martyrs.

UPDATE II: Charlie Hebdo Suspects Killed, Market Shooter Dead.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Hmm, they released the hostage prior to the siege. Looks like they wanted to garner public opinion that they are terrorist with a conscience.

Two brothers believed behind Wednesday’s attack on the offices of French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo were killed on Friday, Agence France Presse reported, culminating a dramatic day in which France was shaken by two simultaneous hostage crises.

Police cornered brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi on Friday inside a printing house in the town of Dammartin-en-Goele near Charles de Gaulle International Airport, where the suspects had been holed up since Friday morning.

A hostage taken by the brothers in Dammartin-en-Goele was released before the siege. An employee at the printing house who was hiding in the building’s cafeteria was freed by police after the raid. The Associated Press said the brothers told police negotiators they wanted to die as martyrs.

A government source told Reuters that the Kouachis were killed after stepping out of the building and opening fire. The brothers had a loaded M82 rocket launcher, two Kalashnikov assault rifles and two automatic pistols, according to Paris prosecutor Francois Molins.

French Authorities Identified Terrorist Suspects Who Murdered Two Police Officers and Slaughtered 10 Journalists at Charlie Hebdo … Said Kouachi, Cherif Kouachi & Hamyd Mourad (Update: Mourad Surrends to Police)

Terror suspects ID’d in Charlie Hebdo slaughter …

Three terrorist suspects have been ID’d in the shooting rampage in Paris, France as two police officers and 10 journalists at Charlie Hebdo were murdered. France’s prime minister, Manuel Valls, said the three Islamofascists suspects are brothers, 32 year old  Cherif Kouachi, 34 year old Said Kouachi and 18 year old Mourad Hamyd. The brothers were known to intelligence services. It is currently unknown what the relationship of the 18 year old is to the two brothers. AFP reported that they had been spotted at a petrol station in northern France.

CHERIF KOUACHI

The younger of the two brothers being hunted by French authorities had already spent time in jail for links to terrorism.

Cherif Kouachi, a 32-year-old French citizen, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2008 for being part of a jihadist recruitment ring in Paris that sent fighters to join the conflict in Iraq.

He was arrested in January 2005, at the age of 22, when he and another man were about to set off for Syria, via which they planned to reach Iraq where war was raging.

Kouachi’s lawyer Vincent Ollivier said at the time that his client’s profile was more “pot-smoker from the projects than an Islamist.”

But at trial, Kouachi was described as coming under the influence of a radical Muslim preacher, Farid Benyettou, at the Addawa mosque in Paris’s 19th arrondissement.

SAID KOUACHI

Much less is known about the elder Kouachi brother, who doesn’t appear to have as high a profile as his younger sibling.

Said Kouachi is 34 and also a citizen of France, according to French authorities.

CNN affiliate BFMTV reported that police found an ID document of Said Kouachi during the investigation.

“It was their only mistake,” said Dominique Rizet, BFMTV’s police and justice consultant.

The photo of Said Kouachi released by police shows him with close cropped dark hair and a short beard on his chin. He’s wearing a gray top with a collar.

BFMTV reported that like his brother, he was born in Paris and was known to police.

The Liberation report suggested that at the time of Cherif Kouachi’s arrest in 2005, the two brothers were both staying in Paris with a French man who had converted to Islam.

Said Kouachi’s name came to the attention of police during the investigation into the 2010 prison-break plot, but there wasn’t enough evidence to keep investigating him, Le Monde reported.

Thousands of Police Officers Pay Their Respect Today at Funeral for 32 Year Old NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu (Update: Tearful & Amazing Tribute by the Widow of Slain Officer) (VIDEO)

For the second time in a week, a Sea of Blue gathers in Brooklyn, NY for the funeral of police officer Wenjian Liu.

Thousands of police officers are paying their respect to a New York Police Department officer shot to death along with his partner as mourners converge from around the country Sunday for a second funeral that stands to test tensions between the city’s mayor and police.

Buddhist monks will lead a Chinese ceremony for Officer Wenjian Liu, followed by a traditional police ceremony with eulogies led by a chaplain. Liu, 32, had served as a policeman for seven years and was married just two months when he was killed with his partner, Officer Rafael Ramos, on Dec. 20.

Officer Lucas Grant of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office in Augusta, Georgia, said he came to Liu’s funeral with about six other officers from neighboring departments “to support our family.”

“When one of us loses our lives, we have to come together,” Grant said.

As Liu’s family arrived for his funeral, Police Commissioner William Bratton tweeted: “We will never forget his sacrifice.”

For a Second Time, Police Officers Gather for the Funeral of an Officer Killed in an Ambush.

Scores of officers in pressed blue uniforms — among thousands crowded in the rain outside the funeral of one of their own — turned their backs on Mayor Bill de Blasio as he delivered a eulogy on Sunday praising the slain officer as an example of a “brave” and “kind” New Yorker who came to the city from China and followed a dream to join the Police Department.

The show of disrespect, which included both New York City officers and those who joined them in mourning from around the country, mirrored a similar display just over a week before at the funeral of Officer Rafael Ramos, in Queens. In the wet streets of southern Brooklyn on Sunday morning, many turned again from their somber ranks at the funeral of his partner, Officer Wenjian Liu.

The silent protest came despite a request on Friday from the police commissioner, William J. Bratton, that officers leave their recent grievances with the mayor out of the sober ceremony on Sunday.

“This city welcomed detective Liu,” the mayor said in his remarks. “New York stands a little taller today because of the time he walked among us.”

Pei Xia Chen, Det. Wenjian Liu’s widow, gave a passionate, tearful, beautiful tribute to her husband, calls NYPD her extended family, her “family in blue.” She thanked those that traveled from near and far to pay respects to her husband.  Pei Xia Chen said that Wenjian Liu was her soul mate and her best friend, but was much, much more. She also said that she was his number one fan. All anyone needs to do is watch the video below to understand Wenjian Liu was an amazing man and what a great man and hero that he was. May Wenjian Liu rest in eternal peace.
