Police Believe Body Found May Be Missing 24 Year Old Detroit Woman Kajavia Globe

The body was found Monday night Fielding Street, in the area of 7 Mile Road and Evergreen appears to be that of missing 24 year old Kajavia Globe. However, positive identification needs to be confirmed by the medical examiner. Family members filed a missing persons report Saturday, December 12.

The police are stating that there was evidence of foul play in the disappearance of Kajavia Globe. Her vehicle  was found abandoned on Chatham Street, near Telegraph Road and Fenkel, early Monday morning, 3 days after she went missing and surveillance video showed a masked man using Globe’s bank card to withdraw cash at an ATM at 7 Mile Road and Telegraph, late Friday afternoon.

Detroit police are working to confirm whether a body found Monday on the city’s west side is that of a missing 24-year-old woman.

The body was found early Monday evening on Fielding Street, in the area of 7 Mile Road and Evergreen. Police and family members were at the scene.

Assistant police chief Steve Dolunt told reporters that though authorities believe the body belongs to Globe, confirmation by the medical examiner is required.

“We’ve got the body of a black female, appears to be in her 20s, in the backyard of this location,” Dolunt said. “At this time, it appears to be our missing [person], we can’t confirm it until the medical examiner gets here. At this time, we cannot confirm the cause of death.”

Earlier Monday, police said there was evidence of foul play in the disappearance of Kajavia Globe.

Globe’s car was found abandoned on Chatham Street, near Telegraph Road and Fenkel, early Monday morning — three days after she went missing.

About two miles from that location, police say surveillance video shows a masked man using Globe’s bank card to withdraw cash at an ATM at 7 Mile Road and Telegraph, late Friday afternoon.

43 Year Old Karen Dolley’s Fends Off Home Intruder (Jacob Wessel) With Japanese-Styled Sword, Ninjato

NEXT THING YOU KNOW OBAMA AND DEMOCRATS WILL BE LOOKING TO TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHT TO BEAR NINJATO’S TOO.

SCARED MONKEYS HERO OF THE WEEK GOES TO KAREN DOLLEY,  HOME OWNERS GETS MEDIEVAL WITH HOME INVADER …

Karen Dolley

Why do I get the feeling that this would be robber would rather have been shot than be sliced and diced with a razor sharp ninja sword. 30 year old Jacob Wessel went into the wrong house to rob Thursday night on 10th Street and Emerson Avenue on Indianapolis’ Eastside.  43 year old Karen Dolley said that she awoke around midnight to the voice of a man in her house and began punching him about 10 times and cornering him in her bedroom. Then it got real. It turns out that Karen has had medieval combat training. Karen reached for her gun but opened the wrong drawer. Karen then reached for her backup weapon, a Japanese-styled sword called ninjato, which she keeps near her bed. Folks, this thing could fend off and cut the heads off Zombies let alone a home invader. This is a classic as she held the 5 ft. 10 inch Wessel at sword point until the police arrived.

Ninjato

When a man broke into Karen Dolley’s home on Thursday night, her training in medieval combat came in handy. So did her sword.

The 43-year-old woman said she awoke around midnight to the voice of a man in her house near 10th Street and Emerson Avenue on Indianapolis’ Eastside.

She leapt out of bed, turned on the lights and saw him standing in her living room, she said. Then her instincts kicked in.

Dolley, standing 5-foot-6, said she immediately attacked, punching him about 10 times and cornering him in her bedroom.

She reached for her gun in a nearby drawer, but she accidentally opened the wrong drawer during the chaos of the moment, so her gun wasn’t there.

She reached for her backup weapon, a Japanese-styled sword called ninjato, which she keeps near her bed. Her intruder crouched in the bedroom as she held him at sword-point until police arrived, she said.

Jacob Wessel of Greenwood was later arrested by the police after forcing his way through the house’s backdoor and was later charged with residential entry, a Level 6 felony. There was no mention as to whether he soiled himself.

23 Year Old Armed Robbery Suspect Dashawn Terrell Cochran Used Uber for His Getaway Car in Maryland

I BET UBER NEVER HAD THIS IN THEIR BUSINESS MODEL …

23 year old armed robbery suspect, Dashawn Terrell Cochran, appears to have used UBER as his getaway vehicle from the scene of the crime. After having held up a store in Parkville, Maryland, the suspect was seen getting into a the back of a silver Lexus. The Baltimore County Police Department say he pointed a gun at a store employee and demanded that he give him money. When the Baltimore police pulled the drive over, the driver said he was an Uber driver. Imagine that. Cochran was arrested and charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and theft less than $1,000. He is being held on $500,000 bail. The Uber driver and another passenger in the vehicle were released, having had nothing to do with the robbery.

I guess they really are everyone’s private driver … even armed robbers

UBER

A 23-year-old man suspected of armed robbery tried to take an Uber car to help him get away after he held up a store outside Baltimore, police said.

The suspect, Dashawn Terrell Cochran, was at a store in Parkville, Maryland, early Wednesday morning when he allegedly took a bottle of Tylenol cold medicine to the register, the Baltimore County Police Department said. Police said he then pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money.

Cochran ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, but officers began to track his path, police said.

Cochran was seen getting into the back of a silver Lexus, and when officers pulled the car over, the driver said he was an Uber driver, police said.

Maybe it is the UBER passengers that need all the back ground checks and not just the UBER drivers.
