Law Professor Alan Dershowitz Says He Will Leave the Democrat Party if anti-Semitite Rep. Keith Ellison is Elected DNC chairman

WHICH PARTY IS IN DISARRAY?

As the Democrat party is on the verge of electing a new DNC chairman, law professor and activist Alan Dershowitz says he will leave the Democrat party. Dershowitz claims that he will quit the Democrat party and become an Independent. Although he says, he is not leaving the Democrat party, the Democrat party has left him. The question remains, just how far left is the Democrat party about to go with this key vote today and are they ready for the backlash of their decision?

Alan Dershowitz is correct, the Democrat party has left many as this party has become so far fringe-left, that it is not even recognizable anymore.

There has been powerful push from the hard-left of the Democratic Party, led by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., to elect Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., as chairman. If he is elected, I will quit the party after 60 years of loyal association and voting. I will become an independent, continuing to vote for the best candidates, most of whom, I assume, will still be Democrats. But I will not contribute to the DNC or support it as an institution.

My loyalty to my country and my principles and my heritage exceeds any loyalty to my party. I will urge other like-minded people — centrist liberals — to follow my lead and quit the Democratic Party if Ellison is elected chairman. We will not be leaving the Democratic Party we have long supported. The Democratic Party will be leaving us!

Let me explain the reasons for this difficult decision.

Ellison has a long history of sordid association with anti-Semitism. He worked with and repeatedly defended one of a handful of the most notorious and public anti-Semites in our country: The Reverend Louis Farrakhan. And worked with Farrakhan at the very time this anti-Semite was publicly describing Judaism as a gutter religion and insisting that the Jews were a primary force in the African slave trade.

Ellison has publicly stated that he was unaware of Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. That is not a credible statement. Everyone was aware of Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. Farrakhan did not try to hide it. Indeed, he proclaimed it on every occasion. Ellison is either lying or he willfully blinded himself to what was obvious to everyone else. Neither of these qualities makes him suitable to be the next chairman of the DNC.

Random Robbery or Hate Crime: 60 Year Old Brooklyn Orthodox Rabbi Joseph Raksin Gunned Down & Murdered While Walking to Bais Menachem Synagogue Saturday Morning in Northeast Miami-Dade, FL

Random robbery gone wrong or Hate Crime?

Joseph Raksin, a 60 year old rabbi from Brooklyn, NY who was visiting family, was gunned down and murdered as he was walking to a Northeast Miami-Dade synagogue at about 9 am Saturday for Temple services. The two young, black teen males fled the crime scene and are currently being sought by police. The shooting victim was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died from his wounds. Police stated that Raksin was walking eastbound on Northeast 175th Street and Eighth Court when he was confronted by two young men and gunned down after an altercation in what was most likely a random robbery attempt.

A 60-year-old Orthodox rabbi from Brooklyn on his way to a Northeast Miami-Dade synagogue was gunned down Saturday morning during a likely random robbery attempt, according to Miami-Dade police and local Jewish community leaders.

The shooting victim, Joseph Raksin, was walking eastbound on Northeast 175th Street and Eighth Court at about 9 a.m. when he was confronted by two young men. Following an altercation, Raksin was shot by one of the men, police said.

The authorities were quick to call this a random act of violence as Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Elena Hernandez in a statement,“At this time there is no indication of this being a hate crime.” However, that is not what is being said from Yona Lunger, a local Jewish community activist and member of the Shmira Patrol, a neighborhood watch group. According to accounts, Lunger  spoke to one witness who told him, that contrary to what Miami-Dade police reported, Raksin had no altercation with the two young men. Raskin was shot immediately after the two approached him on Northeast 175th Street. Also, The shocking crime took place in broad daylight was just a few blocks away from Torah V’Emunah, an Orthodox synagogue where swastikas were spray painted last month. Coincidence?

Raksin was on his way to Bais Menachem, 1005 NE 172nd Ter., when he was shot, said Lunger, who spoke to one witness who told him that — contrary to what Miami-Dade police reported — Raksin had no altercation with the two young men. He said the witness, whom he did not identify, told him that Raksin was shot immediately after the two approached him on Northeast 175th Street.

Another local Jewish community leader, Brian Siegal, director of the American Jewish Committee’s Miami and Broward Regional Office, said he believes Raksin’s shooting may be connected to the recent act of vandalism at the nearby Torah V’Emunah, an Orthodox synagogue, 1000 NE 174th St.

UPDATE I: $50,000 Reward Offered for Capture of of Two Suspects in Murder of Rabbi  Joseph Raksin.

Two points to ponder with this story as to whether it was or was not a hate crime. First, other than the VIDEO from NBC News 6 above, no where is it referenced that the two murder suspects were two black teens. Also, just curious, would the police have been so quick to discount this as a hate crime if the murder victim was a religious leader with the name of Abdul or Mohammed? But of course that is the double standard we with in this politically correct world.

3 People Dead after Shootings at Jewish Community Center, Village Shalom in Overland Park, Kansas (Update: Suspect Yells “Heil Hitler” While Being Arrested)(Update: Suspect ID’d as Glenn Frazier Cross, aka Glenn Miller, Former grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the KKK)

Three people have been killed and two others injured after a shooting at Village Shalom, a Jewish Community Center, in Overland Park, Kansas. The fatal shooting took place on the eve of Passover.  A 14 year-old boy and his grandfather were killed outside the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. A female was killed a few minutes later in the parking lot at Village Shalom, an assisted living facility. Two of the victims were a grandfather and grandson who were members of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS.

Police will not yet call this a hate crime; as they are reporting this as a possible hate crime. Possible??? However, we will … THIS IS A HATE CRIME!!!

Authorities are investigating whether the shootings were a hate crime, Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass told reporters.

“It’s too early in the investigation to try to label it. We know it’s a vicious act of violence. Obviously, at two Jewish facilities, one might make that assumption, but we’re going to have to know more about it,” he said.

When some one asks the following before killing someone, chances are it is a hate crime … “Asking someone if you are Jewish before shooting sounds very much like a hate crime,”  Rabbi Herbert Mandl, a chaplain with the Overland Park Police Department, said.

UPDATE I: Police take shooting suspect into custody.

Police took one man into custody at the Valley Park Elementary at 123rd and Lamar. The man was heard yelling “heil Hitler” as he was taken into custody. However, investigators say it is too early to label the incident as a hate crime.

The person of interest is described as a man in his 70s. Investigators say he is not from the area and there’s no indication that he knew the victims. His identity has not been released at this time. He is being held at the Johnson County Detention Center.

UPDATE II: Suspect ID’d as 73 year old Glenn Frazier Cross, who also goes by Glenn Miller, is a known white supremacist.

Glenn Frazier Cross, aka Glenn Miller, is a former “grand dragon” of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

Glenn Frazier Cross, 73, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. He is being held by Overland Park police on multiple charges including premeditated first-degree murder, according to online jail records.

Cross, who also goes by Glenn Miller, is a known white supremacist and known for his anti-Semitic thoughts. He is a former grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. He is a perennial candidate for office, including running in 2006 against then-U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt, R-MO. He ran against Blunt in 2010 when Blunt was elected to the Senate.

Cross made headlines in the 2010 campaign for his racist and anti-Semitic campaign ads. Federal law required broadcast stations to air the ads even though they did not want to put such vile rantings on their airwaves.
